This place is so special! The chef clearly makes everything from scratch and the dishes are so unique. It's lovely to have a nice place by any standard just down the street in Meridian. Korey is our favorite server because he's just as excited about the food as we are!

Popular place, went here for lunch, it seemed quite busy. I ordered the hamburger with cheese and potato salad. The hamburger came with all the trimming options and the bun was lightly toasted. The burger itself was so thick I could only eat half and had to take the other half home. The food was delicious and meat was cooked as ordered. Harvest Grill seemed to have lots of seafood and "fancy" options for a lunch menu, such as oysters, and rich cheeses like gorgonzola on salads. Prices ranged $10-15 for lunch. (Didn't see dinner menu so don't know prices or options.) There is a bar so drinks are available if you want, but I only had a sweet tea and it was perfectly refreshing. Service was initially slow but once she came to our table, she was quick and efficient. There was an upstairs area which I didn't see as we were on the ground floor but did see tables to accommodate larger groups as well as small tables for two! There is also some outdoor/patio seating. (I didn't see any "seats" at the bar although there may have been.) If you are in the Meridian area during lunch (or dinner) I recommend checking this restaurant out for yourself.

Wow! That’s all we can say. Everything was great here. We loved so many of the homemade items that add an original touch. The yellowfin tuna was amazing and everything about the dish was great. Truly an art in designing a dish. We especially loved the wasabi mashed potatoes. This was a refreshing restaurant find for us!

We stopped at Harvest Grill for some dinner, during our trip out west. The host was a little sketchy at first and wasn't too welcoming, compared to others entering. It could've been our casual attire (shorts and t shirt). Anyhow, our waitress was awesome and our food was absolutely delicious. My wife and I split the salmon dinner and the blackened chicken sandwich. The kids had pizza and home-made chicken tenders. For dessert we had their home-made s'mores. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I recently traveled to Meridian, MS for business, and on the first day, the company I was meeting with had lunch brought in from Harvest Grill. When I first saw the menu to make my selections, I knew I was in for a treat. Not just sandwiches and typical lunch fare, I had to decide between the dozens of hot and cold gourmet sandwiches, the fish tacos, and even quinoa cups. I finally settled on the Harvest Veggie on marbled rye and the homemade waffle chips. Oh my goodness, what a treat. Freshly grilled veggies, soft but pleasantly firm marbled rye, and delicious basil and balsamic... really one of the best veggie sandwiches I've ever had. And then the homemade waffle chips... I scarfed those down before I even finished the sandwich. For take-out, it was nicely presented and still warm. Next time I'm in Meridian, I look forward to eating in the actual restaurant.

We entertained some clients here for lunch. Was a very good lunch spot. It is great to see revitalization of older buildings with upscale restaurants and good menus. I had the shrimp sandwhich and it was amazing. Everyone in our party of 10 was happy with thier food and the pricing was fair for the quality. I suggest this place highly when in Meridian.

My husband & I shared a meal here for our Anniversary yesterday. The food was really good and there were several unique options on the menu. The brisket spring rolls were amazing! I enjoyed everything we ordered and hope to go back very soon! The waitress was very friendly and made us laugh-she was awesome!

Atmosphere is nice for any occasion. I ordered the Korean short ribs, asparagus, and blue cheese potatoes. EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection and taste amazing! I cut the ribs with my fork, and the reduction was delicious! Waiter wasn't knowledgeable of menu but will definitely visit again.

Last night, I was with a party of 18. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. Our waitress (Kaitlin) was so professional, kind, and responsive and took great care of us. The food came out all on time and so much faster than I could have imagined. Everyone got exactly what they ordered, without any errors. They even brought out the kids' food first. It was a very busy night at the restaurant so I expected us to be there for a while and for there to be a few kinks like there would be at any restaurant - but I was wrong. I was extremely impressed and very grateful for such a smooth and positive experience!

I ate here while visiting for a few days and will be back for more. I had 14 hr beef brisket spring rolls that were delicious beyond words and crab cake sliders that were great as well. Little pricey but is worth it.

The service was very friendly. My husband and I had short ribs and grouper. The ribs were very tender, if missing a little flavor. Maybe more sauce, which was very good, just so little of it. The grouper with the corn and crawfish was good. We also had the brisket spring rolls, which were so light and flakey. Very tasty. Personally I would have enjoyed a horseradish dip for them, but that is personal taste, as I do like a bit of spice in things. Overall good seldom experience.

I loved eating here. My husband and I both order the Brisket Rueben. YUM!! Plenty of meat and the smokey brisket was perfectly tender. The service was excellent and the decor is updated and clean. If I'm in town again, I will make sure to stop by.

My husband's pork tenderloin was not well done as ordered and he had to send it back to get cooked, they reheated it. My salmon was raw on the inside and I had to send it back to get it cooked, they reheated it also. Also we did not get discounted anything on our bill. We went to IHOP for the first time afterwards and enjoyed it way more. We would have rather paid $65 at IHOP than there. Too little food for the price at Harvest Grill.

Harvest Grill was one of our usual haunts, but perhaps not so much anymore. The atmosphere and menu are more metropolitan than any other Meridian restaurant and definitely fill a void. The prices are on the upper end of the scale and are comparable to Weidmann's. The menu changed recently and is honestly, a little boring now. In addition, during my most recent visit, not only was I completely snubbed by the chef/owner, I got food poisoning, ugh. Regarding the snub, I was the first seated at a table reserved for 7 (obviously what could amount to a decent check). The chef/owner greeted those at the tables surrounding me, looked me in the eye, I smiled, he looked completely through me and kept walking. Huh. No acknowledgement at all. I asked around, apparently he only greets "locals." Hmm, maybe not the best business plan. As for the food poisoning, it could be my fault for ordering the sushi appetizer with no sushi chef present. Either way, I won't be able to bring myself to return for quite some time.

A good friend took me to this restaurant while visiting them in Meridian. I ordered the Fish & Chips - I debated getting the fries or chips and was informed that if I liked steak fries, I would like the chips. Not so much. The chips were not that tasty to me. The fish was overly greasy. My wife ordered the Filet Mignon - med well done. They butterflied it without asking. She ended up chewing through maybe a quarter of it before she gave up. So overall, not a good experience besides visiting with our friends.

Atmosphere was good, menu looked great and service was pretty good considering we had 8. Menu looked awesome but I was disappointed. Ordered pork tenderloin medium, it came out burnt and beyond well done, Brussel sprouts with It were half cooked half undercooked. My girlfriend got the seafood special. Supposed to be diver scallops, they were barely the size of nickels and were old and incredibly overcooked, very strong fishy smell and taste. Butter poached shrimp needed some help. People we were with seemed to like their food and it did look good just not great flavor. Drinks looked good, only got bourbon so can't comment much there. Prices were good but you clearly got what you paid for. Would try again just would never order the same things again.

This place is literally the bites mecca of meridian. 5 star is an understatement . The bites here are truly exquisite. Hats off to the chef, what a savage in the kitchen. When I come to meridian miss I am pretty upset about it, then I recall that harvest opens for lunch at 11am daily and things really start looking up.

Not worth the money. Food is just OK. Quality is sub par and the preparation could be easily achieved at home for a quarter of the price. Most of the recipes are bland. The service was something to be expected from Applebee’s (the woman came up and said “what do you want to drink” with no introduction. For 2 people, the bill was $85 with my last bit of salmon inedible due to a spoiled taste (probably improper food handling). Not to be expected from one of the best establishments in this city supposedly. Won’t be returning.

I had my first meal at Harvest Grill tonight. Wow! A few friends and I dinned in to celebrate one's upcoming wedding. The staff was very accommodating when they so we had a few gifts and seated us in the corner. Dinner was amazing and the service was excellent! For dessert we shared the s'mores. So much fun! I will definitely be going back.

Ate lunch here with my mother in law. The service was slow and inattentive but polite. They were out of the brisket sandwich which my MIL ordered and then forgot to bring the appetizer of truffle fries that we ordered. I have the taco salad with shrimp and it was tasty! The shrimp were well cooked. The guacamole, however, was like biting into a raw onion. The taco bowl shell was cold when served which was disappointing. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and am willing to give it a second chance.

My colleagues and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the portobello sandwich with Parmesan fries, while one co-worker raved over her fish tacos. Both were beautifully presented. A third colleague enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Tartare, which sat on a wonderful wasabi- honey sauce. Highly recommend food and staff - Ashley provided prompt but not intrusive service.

Got the Harvest burger, and added bacon and avocado. The bacon was fantastic but could have used more. The burger itself was delicious. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in Meridian. The Soup-of-the-day was split pea with bacon - also delicious! The photo is of the “cup” and I could have simple eaten that by itself and have been satisfied. My server was very friendly but busy - which speaks to the food. I will definitely visit here again.

Excellent food! - The pasta carbonara with shrimp and andouille Susannah was awesome. We also had the short ribs which were tender and had a tasty Mongolian sauce. - 5 Decor - It's a pretty good design, bar seems small, to go to the bathroom you have to pass the waiting area where people are waiting to be seated. If it's ever crowded that could be awkward. - 3 Service - We ordered the truffle fries, but they never arrived. Our entrees were brought out but we never got the fries. Drinks were always kept full. - 3.5

Absolutely wonderful hidden gem just off rt 20/59!! I got the quinoa cups and stuffed portobellos and both were delicious with great flavors and textures! The service was even more amazing from the host to the waiter to the bartender. All were incredibly friendly and even gave us tips for our New Orleans visit. So glad we pulled off the road here!! Used to rate this place a 5 and recommend it to others, as well as take others there. I never look at one bad visit as a reflection of the overall quality of a place, but the three most recent visits have been very disappointing and embarrassing. Time to get food has stretched out to unreasonable levels, even without a full house. Consistent quality of food has also spireled down to where I will take a long break from the Harvest Grill before going back again. Weidmans has always been consistent but I hate that this formerly great place isn't an alternative for variety anymore.
