This was our first time at a Cracker Barrel and we LOVED it. We came for dinner so there was a little bit of a wait, so we got to browse the store, which might have been my favorite part! The food was incredible. It's amazing comfort food! And to top it off, the prices were incredible as well. Cracker Barrel is definitely an experience and we loved every minute of it.

Not a bad place for southern food. It’s a weird business honestly where they make you wait in a store to eat food. I got fried fish cause it was fish fry Friday. Pretty good. Staff was prompt and nice. Oddly enough it was super busy at lunch on Friday.

Staff was friendly prompt (however) my wife and I felt that the reason for the attention we received was because all the employees were in a hurry to leave. We were seated at our table at 8:45 p.m. store closes at 10:00 p.m. we thought this was ample time for the selection of food that we had planned on ordering (Country Fried Steak for myself and Chicken and Dumplings for my wife). We received our order in about 10 minutes, however ALL the food was luke warm. We had to ask for our muffins and biscuits along with the butter twice. Coke refills were extremely slow to come and there again had to be asked for. Also the ticket/check was very rudely dropped off at the same time as the food minus the bread plate. (By the way when tickets are dropped off early, that limits the addition of more items like dessert - even to take home for later. We did however settle for a few treats on the way out. We were pressured by no less than 4 employees who's priority was obviously to leave the store and get out of their place of work. We had planned on buying gifts for a 13 year old boy also a 18 year old girl and another 16 year old girl. We felt very uncomfortable and extremely rushed. Overall this was a very negative experience and I'm not sure how long it will be before (if ever) we return to this Cracker Barrel) Sincerely, Robert & Michelle Laudun

The server was lovely, but the food was not great. The ham legitimately smelled like dog food. Several tables around us also had to send food back. It definitely wasn't the standard I'm used to with Cracker Barrel.

They really suck at making eggs. You ask for over hard and they are still runny. You ask for scrambled over hard and they are still runny. Every time we eat there, the eggs are never done. Why is it so hard for them to make eggs. Today my husband and I asked for over hard and they were still runny. My glasses were filthy. Had to ask twice and finally they offered to put my drinks in to-go cups. I'm close to never going back again. Also, I asked for the Grandma Sampler and I didn't get the bacon...just the sausage and the ham. Every time we go there, something is always messed up.

Food is good, consistent and reliable. Service is usually good unless busy. Acoustics are horrible in all their restaurants if more then a few customers. Retail store is almost impossible to maneuver through. Especially if you are handicapped. We usually try to avoid during peak times.

Cracker Barrel is a very consistent chain, although I have to say the restaurants down south have better biscuits and the people are much friendlier. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all above average. Definitely worth the wait to get to a cracker barrel. Brrrrrrrrr

If I could rate this a 0 I would. Worst experience ever. Poor server i couldn't believe the young man didnt quit! Asked for biscuits and gravy... sorry out of biscuits. Asked for baked beans.... sorry were out. Asked for meatload.... sorry were out. I personally ordered fish.... absolutely horrible! Tasted sour and rotten. My wife ordered chicken and dumplins... chicken was precooked out of a frozen bag. There was even more issues than stated but let's move on to management. After requesting to speaking to the manager 3 times we finally had to go chase him down to cordially explain our dissatisfaction. He literally just snagged the check and said have a good night. Never apologized or sympathized with our experience or offered to make things right. At the end of the day..... DONT GO TO DINNER HERE!!!!! They have a wonderful homestyle atmosphere but the service and food is absolutely horrible!!!!!

Delicious! I got the Country Fried Steak and my boyfriend got the Chicken and Dumplings. So good! And we only spent $25 for the two of us. Not a bad price for dinner. Most of their items are made in the store. They also have a shop that has TONS of unique items from decor to games to clothes.

Today was my mother 84 birthday. My Aunt and I convince her to go with us to Cracker Barrel. My mother had the deep fried chicken, string beans, mashed potatoes w/gravy, and chocolate cake w/ice cream. My Aunt had lemon season fish, a baked potatoe, string beans and a slice of apple pie w/ice cream. I had an eight ounce rib eye steak, a baked potatoe, string beans, coleslaw and a slice of apple pie. The food was soooooooo good. Make you wanna slap your grand mom mom. The meal was absolutely delicious. The waitress was attentive, pleasant, nice and always approach us with a beautiful smile on her face. She even wished my mother a happy birthday when she served my mother dessert. A woman attending the cash register at the entrance of the restaurant also wish my mother a happy birthday. After dinner, we went shopping. The women in the shop were attentive, pleasant and very nice. We left with a full stomach, styrofoam trays of leftover and bags of merchandise. My mother, her sister and I had a wonderful time on this special day. They both called me at home to let me know that they really enjoyed themselves. I want the employees to know that I appreciate everything you all did for us and the kindness you all showed us. This is the second time I had visited Cracker Barrel. The first time I visited a Cracker Barrel was in Greenville NC after a visit at the Veteran Administration Medical Center. My mother is a cancer survivor. I am battling with Multiple Myeloma and not knowing our predicament, you all treated us with the upmost respect. I appreciate that. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon. We will be back. Your place is THE BEST place I've eaten in, in all of Rocky Mount. The food is season the way I like my food seasoned. Perfect and beyond five plus plus stars.

We came here for Thanksgiving dinner this year. They had pretty good food and our waitress was very accommodating even with the fact that it was Thanksgiving. The restaurant was packed, the little store they have in front of the actual restaurant was great and had some really cool stuff, so we actually had something to do while we waited for our table. I will definitely come back here when it's not a major holiday so I can see what the actual restaurant experience is like.

Always love joining for Sunday fried chicken. It’s the best! Our most recent experience wasn’t as great as they usually are; said soup of the day was chicken and rice but it was chicken noodle, forgot our biscuits/cornbread even after soliciting them to us, and the kale salad was drenched in dressing and they couldn’t make me a new one bc it was pre-batched. I’ve had it dozens of times and it’s delightful. This day it was almost inedible. Other than that, staff was friendly as usual. We love the food. Items we get are the Sunday fried chicken, the new fried chicken (bone in), pot roast, pancakes, lemon pepper trout, fresh orange juice, and some other stuff.

One star knocked off for the country store you MUST make your way through in order to get in and out of the place. It's like the rides at Disney that take you through a souvenir shop on your way out.

Last visited 5/10, a very busy Friday morning. Accepting the wait for table and time to order receive food is understable; however, getting lukewarm , at best, plates of food is not. The wait staff did a five star service and appreciated the manager taking care of one meal. The blame was placed on the kitchen but the food was cooked well, it just sat not getting to table. Rarely have a good experience, keep hoping for better. Tried enough

My family and I came in early this afternoon (04/11). We won't return. Our waitress was not friendly, she seemed very unpleased to be working, she only refilled my husbands cup and not my own and she brought our check before I even finished my meal. The food was so so. The gravy tasted like a packet mix, the biscuits like they came from a box and the sausage like they warmed up some beef jerky. Not the good beef jerky to clarify. The kind that they sell in petco and it is not even real. There are better places to go with friendly staff waiting tables. I love the decor and the store though. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Always love eating at Cracker Barrel, but forced to give two stars after last experience. It was lunch and I ordered the new Crispy Chicken BLT priced at 8.99. Waitress asked me if a wanted to add cheese for a “small” upcharge. I agreed and added Colby. Was shocked to receive the bill and find out the “small” cost to add cheese was TWO DOLLARS!!!! At places like BK cheese is only 30 cents, which I thought was what this would cost. I will return but never again add anything extra to my meal. Please tell your servers to tell the customer how much the upcharge will be instead of lying about a “small” amount. Until then 2 stars for the insanely high cost of inevitable slice of cheese.

This visit was horrible. We were told the wait was 5 minutes with plenty of seats available. Ten minutes later the hostess sat customers who had just come in without calling us. I asked her why she hadn't called us and she then took us to a dirty table with food and drinks spilled around and under it. I asked if we could ast least clean the area. She went and got a broom, so I asked if we could move to another table that was clean she said yes and walked away, we had to move ourselves. The server was nice enough, but we had wait about30 minutes for our food even though the restaurant was practically empty.

I generally love cracker barrel because the food is good. The lines are too long and so is the wait. Even once you are seated, you have to wait to be served at this point. Moreover, we didn't eat at this establish this time because the wait was too long. We left the Carolinas and sought out other eateries on the way home.

Very crowded on a Sunday after church, 1:15ish. Ten min wait to be seated which is fine but sat there I bet another 25 mins with just our drinks, not even biscuits, before any food came. Large portions, (how many people eat 4 pieces of fried chicken at one time along with everything else?) Chicken was ok, kind of over cooked/too crispy. Buttermilk biscuits were great! Neither of us liked the corn muffin. My elderly mother kept commenting how loud it was and it really was, people talking and extra lot of racket. Didnt bother me but just something to consider. I would def go again since portions were large and reasonable but would try something else. Menu is huge, everything u could want along with all day breakfast. And of course, there is the cute little country gift shop when u walk in.

GREAT place for dining in, great food and great service with attentive staff......As for ONLINE OREDERING, expect to wait 20 minutes after their time suggested online that your order will be ready. Take a screenshot of what you ordered and DOUBLE CHECK at the time of pickup. Not once has it been correct for me out of approximately 15ish times. Other than the “Online Orders”. Great!!

Easily access to and return from the highway. Got great service from the waitstaff. Benjamin never allowed my coffee cup to be empty. Food was served in a timely manner and was delicious. Parking lot was clean. Restroom was spotless and well stocked. Had a very pleasant experience in the store area. I couldn't find what I wanted and received an immediate response and knowledgeable assistance from clerk. Definitely going to be stopping here again.

I had the homestyle chicken which is always delicious and featured on Sundays! The two vegetables were good though they forgot to bring the extra side I had ordered. I also enjoy their biscuits and cornbread. As usual I bought some goo goo clusters and thin stick candy to go. Going here reminds me of many things so it brings a certain melancholy to it. I wish there was good food which could deal with my chronic back pain and other issues of pain occurring. Lord have mercy!

Not sure what happened... used to be so good. Now the breakfast meat tasted soured/old... aand the same flavor was in the gravy food biscuits. I couldn't eat it. Mrg came by... felt like I was being questioned. He left and had waitress get my plate, privately showed it to him where I could see them behind a divider and wad given a credit for the meat .. not the meal, which i didn't eat. I was offered a different meal. I honestly didn't want anything else. Will NEVER go back. Didn't like how i was treated with a very obvious bad meal! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Quick service from the sweetest waitress and quick simple food! Could’ve eaten a whole plate of broccoli! It is a nearby drive to the Opry so it was great for a quick stop it. Don’t forget to grab a Pecan Log from the sweet shop on the way out! Pleasant surprise, they are yummy!

It's Cracker Barrel, what is there to say? The food is bland and you don't get much of it. While waiting in line to pay an old man aimlessly wandered in front of everyone and straight to the cashier. This happened twice. The service at this location was very good though.

Worst Cracker Barrel experience I've had. Eat all over the country due to work. Coffee was luke warm at best, initial contact was almost 10 min, food was just barely warm, sat under heat lamp for a while, country gravy had skin on it, ordered steak medium rare came out medium well, some slack cut to server because she was training.

We stopped to have dinner and AFTER they sat us down, brought our drinks to us and came back to take our order...we waitress politely said, "I guess I should tell you we are out of ........" It was a good ten items she rambled off saying they had run out of. I understand kitchen issues, but it would have been more proper to tell us that before we waited for a table and got as far as ordering our meal. Needless to say, we left and went elsewhere.

There were five of us that went for dinner. We arrived about 5pm and the crowd was not large but somewhat busy. We were seated fairly quickly in a very visible location. We waited at least 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order. This server took our drink order and left. In about 15 more minutes a different server came with part of our drink order, finally returning with the rest of it. Two of us had coffee. The regular coffee was only Luke warm and the decaf had been on the warmer way too long to be served. We gave our cups back to the server. About 5-10 minutes she returned with some fresh regular coffee and the same pot of very old decaf. We refused the decaf after being served the same old coffee twice. After about an hour since arriving, our food was served. Only one dinner out of five was even close to being a decent meal. The others were either very skimpy, over or undercooked. We spoke to the manager about the very poor service and food. He listened intently and quietly apologized. My tour bus stopped here to dine on May 24, 2019. The entire group was seated promptly. I ordered the "Fish Fry" and the cod was cooked perfectly. I had the Macaroni and Cheese and Mixed Green Salad as my sides. I tried the raspberry tea which was a little too sweet for me. I enjoyed my meal, but had to deduct one star because the floor in the bathroom was sticky.

I have been to Cracker Barrel many times and have always enjoyed my meal. This visit there was not what I expected. The server talked too much and there was a mixup about what chicken dish I ordered. My four piece chicken was cooked way too long and and was very dry . I only are one piece . I ordered the banana dessert and it was melted and watery and didn't finish it either I was very surprised to have such a dissatisfying experience at a place I usually enjoy.

Got to be one of my favorite places. More training for new wait staff needed. The gals at the front helping you shoo are wonderful. They have some good deals end of season high quality clothes awesome fun and unique especially the baby clothes. I went with my daughter, we both ordered a ribeye steak, hers medium rare and mine medium. When they came out, hers was the right temp but extremely chewy, to where it was hard to eat. My ended up being well done, but didn't want to send it back and wait any more. They were seasoned OK, but between the quality and the fact that mine was overdone, I can't say I would order it again. They sides were good, however. We got a brussel sprouts and kale mix, mashed potatoes and mac n' cheese. She got dumplings, corn and french fries. We also got cornbread, biscuits and sourdough for our breads. The server was also friendly, even though they were busy. I've had better meals here, including their meatloaf and burger, but I would recommend avoiding the steaks.

This is a place where you normally get good service. We were shocked to see that it had taken them 50 minutes to get our food to us. We had finally asked if we could get our salad and some biscuits. We went here regularly - about 3 times a month on Sundays. We thought the homestyle chicken special was the best thing on the menu. On June 2, it was obvious the breading had changed. It was thicker than the chicken on some spots. It was chewy - not really crunchy. We asked for and were given two more pieces - one each. The manager came over to check but the pieces were not much better. We wondered whether the chicken came in breaded. He said no it was battered in house. After having difficulty trying to cut it, I just didn't want to eat it. I told the manager I was not going to pay for the meal. The chicken was still on my plate. He then said he would take care of it and comped our meals. We have been going to Cracker Barrel in different states for over 16 years and never have had a major problem.

Sunday chicken dinner is very good. Their bacon is good but for those who like link sausage, they do not have it. They have a sausage pattie. Their pecan pancakes are also very good, especially when topped with their peach sauce. This is a comfort food place. For example, they have roast beef gravy over homemade bread, chicken fried steak, grits, fried chicken, skillet dishes for breakfast and various waffle and pancake options. They do have a children's menu and crayons for kids to color. Their country store has infant and kids clothes, women's clothes, and a selection of t-shirts, cooking gadgets, coffee cups, some dishes, seasonal items including seasonal clothing for kids, and games and toys, many of the old favorites.

Good old-fashioned stick to your rib Homestyle Cooking. This time I opted for the chicken and dumplings and it was quite delicious. It's amazing how many different sides you can get. The cinnamon apples make a nice little treat kind of dessert like. But all the other options like mashed potatoes french fries green beans mac and cheese a salad and the list goes on and on. We had a lovely breakfast at the Cracker Barrel. Our waiter was really nice, he always made sure we had enough drinks and the food was ok. We are visiting Nashville from the UK and staying at the Gaylord resort. It’s a 15 min slow walk to the Cracker Barrel. The shop, omg, just loving it. It is a small shop but got so much things inside we stayed at least 2 hours and I still feel that I have not seen everything, shame we only got one suitcase to fill.

Every Sunday morning the family and I go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. The past three times they have messed up our order or they have forgotten something from our orders. Well today will be the last time ever go back. After three times of our Order being wrong we decided to go back and get our money back and spend our money elsewhere. Well the Manager (who wasn’t wearing a name tag) argued with me and told me he didn’t have to give us a refund. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!??! Your lack of paying attention to detail over time lead to you losing a customer. Take ownership of your leadership and just give us a simple refund for the meals we don’t want now. Train your employees better and get a manager who actually knows how to lead the team. Never returning to this restaurant again.

First time ever I can complain about a Cracker Barrel. The place was not busy but the food was very slow to come out and not cooked properly. Our waitress left something to be desired. Ordered the Sunday special - fried chicken - and a cheeseburger. Chicken was much better than the last time- no grease sitting on top of it. Took awhile for the chicken to cook we were told after a wait. Think they cooked the cheeseburger too soon and left if on the grill to stay warm because it was very dry and over cooked.

What can I say...Cracker Barrel the UNIVERSE over is consistently good. This was no different! A great store out front with unique items you can't live without, and delicious (I'm assuming calorie free) food inside. My kid LOVES the dumplings. I think she gets the other stuff just so she can get dumplings (since I like her to eat more than just dough balls for dinner). I have, I do, and I will recommend Cracker Barrel!

My only bad comments are they stopped having the vandelia onion salad dressing that was exceptional, the other negative...the dessert you must choose between sugar free and omg that is way too sweet. Half way through our meal he asked if we were needing to go boxes, very rude!! Had to ask for refills on water and then we're splashed with water when he refilled our glasses. Awful service and awful food. Never received refills on drinks, our food order was all messed up and she tried to argue with me and even brought me a menu. She brought SOME of the missing items but not all. The pancakes had burnt stuff from the grill and couldn't eat them. The manager never went around checking on tables, he just stood by the kitchen door. Cashier asked me if everything was okay and I said no, she just gave me my total and that was all.

I NORMALLY LOVE CRACKER Barrell.. And I still do.. Although I don't understand WHY they REMOVED one of my favorite dishes, which is their chicken and rice dish.. For years it stayed on as a dish they only served on Saturday nights.. So on any given Saturday night, it was my GO TO place and I always ordered the same thing.. Chicken and Rice. Well the powers to BE DECIDED to remove it completely OFF the menu, and replaced it with with their fried chicken dish!! When I heard the NEWS Iwas really DEVASTATED!! Wow the homestyle fried chicken was first of all massive. Two huge pieces of boneless chicken but don't get it twisted with the southern fried chicken which is with the bone in and homestyle is without the bone. And your gonna wanna follow it with mashed potatoes and the brown gravy and the green beans as your 2 sides and an extra side of macaroni and cheese (cause I'm a fatty) only waited about 40 min on a Sunday at 2pm , but well worth the wait for the chicken.

A chain restaurant that is excellent. The store is neat with eclectic offerings and a wonderful selection of older brands of candy and snacks. It's a blast from the past! The food is always good and the service is also good. In St Charles, Mo they are a little tricky being located on a one way section of Veterans Memorial Drive, but it's worth finding the way.

Wall decorations from American late 1800s early 1900s interests. Prices are a bit high for simple fare and very simple service so understand that you're paying for the rent, old-school decor, and the franchise and not exquisite, fine food preparation and presentation. Still, vastly superior in sit-down, belly-up food than the fast-food chain-replicator-space meals out there.

Wish I could do 0 stars. Worst service. First we were seated at a table that had a spill on the floor with a caution sign next to it that you had to step over to sit down. As I was walking, the busboy dropped his bus tray on my foot, a glass broke and a small piece of it hit my leg and made a tiny nick. One of the workers got a wipe and a bandaid for me. My husband cleaned it and removed a small piece of glass. The server, whose section we were seated in, completely ignored us. There were 4 tables that came after us that had their drink and food order taken while we were still waiting for the server to come introduce herself and take our drink order. After half an hour I went to the hostess and explained what was going on and they pulled a cashier to come take our order. We finally got our drinks. An hour passed by with other tables coming and going and still no sign of food. We decided we had waited long enough and started to leave. I stopped by the manager on the way out and nicely explained to him what had transpired. He was kind, apologetic and was very surprised that we were still there and waiting but no offer to check on our food and so we left. We were with my elderly parents and it was already too late to try to get seated at another restaurant so we ended up eating at McDonald's. Certainly not my first choice. We travel and eat at Cracker Barrel 1-2 times a week and this is the first time I've been disappointed. From start to finish it was a disaster.

It was horrible, I ordered a coke and a glass of water, never got the water, no refills on the coke. With the meal, you can get a biscuit and muffin. I attempted to eat the biscuit, it was not throughly cooked, being a cancer patient, no raw or undercooked food. I did not even try the muffin. I ordered the rib eye, probably was my first mistake, they are known for there chicken, I know. However if it's on the menu, they should be able to cook it right? The waitress brought our salads with the main course?? Who does that? I cut my steak and it was cold, like it had been setting near a heat lamp. The sweet potatoe barely had enough butter and brown sugar on it, made it dry. I told the waitress the steak was cold, she apologized and said she would tell manager, he took it back to heat it up, (never send any food back) and I just couldn't eat any of it. So he took it off the tab. He offered to get me something else, by that time I had eaten my side dishes. My husband and his sister's meal was awesome, can you guess what they got?? There famous fried chicken!! Next time I guess I will know better.

It's Cracker Barrel. Still just basic home- style cooking. Service was pretty good, got checked several times for refills. The problem with the food was that my food and my milk were all about the same temperature...food barely warm, milk barely cool. And the blueberry syrup had little blueberry flavor. We have eaten at Cracker Barrel restaurants for more than 50 years. We traveled many times from Michigan to Florida stopping at these restaurants in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky. Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. The menus and food are the same no matter where we ate. Besides the large breakfast meals, I like the catfish dinners. This was our family's favorite restaurant when our children were growing up. We have purchased several items from the country store attached to all of the restaurants over the years, while we waited to be seated. I have not visited this location in Las Vegas because of its distance from our home in Centennial Hills but I am sure that the menu remains the same as it has been for many years. I hope that someone builds a Cracker Barrel near the Centennial Bowl, the intersection of Highways 95 and 215. This would be a great location, especially if the new Interstate 11 uses this intersection.

Terrible service. Our waiter took over an hour to bring our food and then brought half the breakfast plates with eggs but didn’t bring the breakfast setup so eggs were cold by the time we got gravy and fixings. He didn’t care at all and just said someone else would bring them out. Then after an hour we were so ready to leave after terrible food and a waitress walking by spilled sweet tea all over me down the back of my shirt but didn’t acknowledge me. We told the cashier but didn’t have time for him to track down a manager. Overall leaving with a wet shirt and really disappointed in this whole experience.

By far the worst place that I have been to!! I got a coke the waitresses brought it out and it was basically water. Everything I wanted they did not have I asked for the meatloaf she told me that they had it sit there for 30 more minutes she comes back out and tells me that that don’t have the meatloaf. So I told her to just get me the chicken fried chicken with double mashed potatoes and loaded hash browns with extra gravy. Sit there another 30 minutes and they bring out my boyfriends food and half of my food but no chicken! She told me that that told her it would be 5mins for the chicken. But instead it was 30-35mins before they brought it out and when they did the chicken was burnt and everything else was ice cold.

The food was tasty enough, but for the price we paid, the portions were tiny. I have college age twin boys who were starving and I actually had to cook more okra and fries After I brought the meal home. Maybe the portions are FDA recommended or something, but they certainly were not young growing men recommended! As an example, there were about 6 pieces of okra and a half cup of fries. They also forgot one of my okra orders, but I just chalk that up to human error. I just really don't think the price fits the portion.

Cracker Barrel disappoints again...sigh. I really want to like Cracker Barrel. I have tried them about 8 times in 5 states over the last 20 years. The food is just okay and the service is always horrible. I'm not picky. Greet me promptly, get some coffee in front of me, and deliver my food in a reasonable amount of time (anytime less than 25 minutes). In all 8 visits, none of the above were delivered. I'll probably try them again in another 7 or 8 years but my expectations would not be high.

Great food. In response to some of these reviews...it has been my experience that you generally get back from a server exactly what you give to them. Maybe check yourself?? We travel frequently and eat in this particular restaurant regularly. The service is always friendly and as quick as the current crowd allows. If you're in a rush, try McDonald's or Burger King.

Cracker barrel is awesome for great home style food and atmosphere! For breakfast, I recommend the eggs in the basket dish. They cut a hole into fresh bread, grill it up and drop an egg into the hole! It is awesome! For lunch, their chicken is amazing, and I have never met one of their veggie dishes that I haven't loved! Try the Brussels sprouts and kale salad, and Thursday's country side of the day is sweet potato casserole-pure heaven!!!

I have been all over the United States and have stopped at Cracker Barrel loving it. Las Vegas is where I live and it has a Cracker Barrel fairly new. I have been 3 times. First 2 times we left due to 2hr plus wait. My spouce told me today let's go there I know you're wanted to since they open. 1 hour in line 1 hr to get food 30 min to get food corrected. Waitresses horrible spills coffee everytime she filled my cup. Cold food everything was bad bad bad..I was feeling bad they put the name to shame. We are tourist area and our places suck for food.

However, the lobby or rather "gift shop" is off the hook utilizing every once of space to fill in the space with just about everything you can think of from drones, books, candy to porcelain statues for sale. It has been a while since I have been here to eat but it's always a good experience. We were seated fast and are food was ready quickly. I ordered the country shrimp that came with hushpuppy and 3 sides. I had the mac and cheese, whole kernel corn and mashed potatoes. I have been unsatisfied with the mac and cheese at many places but I can honestly say I really enjoyed the mac and cheese here. The food was brought out quickly and was warm and fresh. The waiter was courteous and the restaurant was clean and run well. I didn't buy candy this time around but the candy found in there store is incredible. I also like to buy gifts in there stores for holiday and birthday presents do to the uniqueness in variety found in the store. Prices are also very reasonable.

The food was good today but our waitress was definitely not very good. Upon asking her to bring biscuits to our table before our meal she got very rude. She told us if she brought us our 1 biscuit now we would not be able to get more. Upon questioning because this has never happened before with the bread she said the store is keeping costs down as a whole. I have visit here several times. Every time they are here inconsistent. My mom order the biscuit n gravy with sausage. The sausage was dried hockey pucks. My whole party order coffee and even after we complain still received the same cold cups of coffee. My Aunt order a side of mac n cheese but was not expecting fries to be mixed in it. All in all I will not be coming back. The Cracker Barrel in other states taste way better and as a franchise i should expect the same no matter where i go.

Quaint atmosphere. Wife's steak was overcooked. They cooked a replacement. It was fine. I had sample plate. Dumplings done, but not very tasty. Very bland. Needed some seasoning. Rest of meal was unmemorable. Our server apologized about our overcooked steak.Very able to see to our needs. I must say that. Very friendly. It's confusing to enter one area, then go to another area to pay for meal. Will be back for the chicken.

Back east, Cracker Barrel was an old time favorite for us for southern food!The service today was not too bad but could have been just a little bit more organized, but it also was very busy! The fish special -cod- was melt in your mouth good and so were the fried apples!

Last trip in on Sunday was very good! Our server Gladys was amazing! She really went out if the way to make sure we were happy. I'm glad all the hiccups from opening has been smoothed over. Food has always been great here for us!

I have been wanting desperately to go to the cracker Barrel near us for a LONG time, since before they opened the only time I could eat at one was when my husband and I would drive to Tennessee to visit his family. Now that we have kiddos, one with special needs, we don't get out often, forget quiet meals!!! Unfortunately my meal today was not very good, but I love this place so much and have had such amazing meals at other locations in the past I'm just gonna say it was an off day.

For a sit-down, comfort food place in Bismarck, this is a decent choice. When you walk in, they have their iconic store with clothing, candy, trinkets, and knick knacks. They don't seem to have as much selection as some Cracker Barrels I have been to, but also not the smallest. The dining area is spacious, and they have plenty of areas for large groups. The food choices consist of American (southern) style comfort food. The quality of the food is good and will satisfy your craving, but it's not quite up to true southern comfort food. It's a great place to go for families with kids, groups of friends looking for something out of the ordinary for the area, or just to satisfy a craving for chicken fried steak.

Even though it is one of my favorite places I can not recommend the fried chicken. The chicken was tough and seemed like it was precooked then either refried or microwaved when ordered. I will continue to patronize the restaurant and recommend it to anyone else but I will just order my favorite country fried steak.

This is another great Cracker Barrell experience. There was five of us in our party. There was no wait to be seated. They took our order and brought our drinks. We had our food in less than fifteen minutes. I ordered a serloin steak. It was cooked to perfection. The meat was thick, tender and juicy! Everyone in my party was very pleased with the service and the food. I will definitely stop by there again when I am in the area. I will give them a big thumbs up!

Go here about once a week, love the food but the service could be improved. They always stop refilling drink after 2nd cup or whenever they drop off the check. If I'm still eating then I still need drink and it says in the menu it's bottomless refills. I base my tip off of how long I had to go without drink so I guess no tips when I go here :(

Carol C. was our waitress and she gave us exceptional service. She was generous and checked on us several times with drink refills. She made sure we were satisfied throughout our meals. Our orders came very quick and food was all delicious- we had three different dinners- chicken tenderloins, chicken fried steak and roast beef. I had the roast beef and it was very tender.

This is where we like to stop after Husker games. The service is good, the process are okay and the food is reliable and won't offend anyone - or anyone normal, anyway. Even when it's busy the service is quick and efficient. I really like the pecan pancakes for breakfast and the chicken fried steak for dinner.

Mel was our server and she was great! The restaurant was very busy, and my coffee and water stayed full, our food came out quickly and our server made us feel welcome. The store was packed with pretty clothes and various nick nacks. I bought a skirt and blouse the clothes were/ are beautiful. The restrooms were clean. It was a great stop.

I ordered a salad, the waiter forgot about it, but when he did bring it to me, it was just lettuce. I asked him, doesn't a salad come with more than just lettuce, he told me, yeah, we're out of everything else that goes on the salad. So I had to pay for a half filled bowl of just lettuce! We asked questions about food on the menu and he didn't know answers. We love Cracker Barrel, but this experience was not a good one.

Always filling comfort foods with awesome warm cornbread. Our server was fantastic with a great sense of humor. Many vegetarian foods as well. Has veggie plate of pick 4 of a large amount of veggies. Love the food, atmosphere and sitting on the rockers on porch having a Stewart's root beer or cream soda.

GREAT place for dining in, great food and great service with attentive staff......As for ONLINE OREDERING, expect to wait 20 minutes after their time suggested online that your order will be ready. Take a screenshot of what you ordered and DOUBLE CHECK at the time of pickup. Not once has it been correct for me out of approximately 15ish times. Other than the “Online Orders”. Great!!

I Love Cracker Barrel! Their food is the epitome of what most would consider comfort food. I always have to get something that has country gravy, whether it be the chicken fried chicken/steak or breakfast with biscuits and gravy. So yummy. I also enjoy brousing through the country store. There are always interesting items. Whenever I take a road trip, I have to go there. I wish there was more than 2 in New Jersey that are very far from home.

We went here regularly - about 3 times a month on Sundays. We thought the homestyle chicken special was the best thing on the menu. On June 2, it was obvious the breading had changed. It was thicker than the chicken on some spots. It was chewy - not really crunchy. We asked for and were given two more pieces - one each. The manager came over to check but the pieces were not much better. We wondered whether the chicken came in breaded. He said no it was battered in house. After having difficulty trying to cut it, I just didn't want to eat it. I told the manager I was not going to pay for the meal. The chicken was still on my plate. He then said he would take care of it and comped our meals. We have been going to Cracker Barrel in different states for over 16 years and never have had a major problem.

I usually order pick up from them and it's a hit and miss with them. The food is always good but the service not so much. Half of the times they'll say will be ready in 10 15 mins and I'll get there and end up waiting another 15 minutes. One time I got there 20 mins after placing the order and waited another 15 mins due to their lack of communication.

Sunday chicken dinner is very good. Their bacon is good but for those who like link sausage, they do not have it. They have a sausage pattie. Their pecan pancakes are also very good, especially when topped with their peach sauce. This is a comfort food place. For example, they have roast beef gravy over homemade bread, chicken fried steak, grits, fried chicken, skillet dishes for breakfast and various waffle and pancake options. They do have a children's menu and crayons for kids to color. Their country store has infant and kids clothes, women's clothes, and a selection of t-shirts, cooking gadgets, coffee cups, some dishes, seasonal items including seasonal clothing for kids, and games and toys, many of the old favorites.

Firstly, my mom loves Cracker Barrel. Whenever we travel to a different state she pulls out the phone to GPS the nearest location. Cracker Barrel food is consistently solid, hearty portions -value priced with better than average service no matter where you go. Part of their allure is the "storefront". My mom cannot resist! Just once I'd like to go to Cracker Barrel and just eat without having to purchase something from the store. A fellow can dream.

My husband and I swore we would never eat at the Cracker Barrel again only for the simple fact that neither of us have had good service here. However, we decided to give it a shot after 15 years at the Billings location. Both of us come from the industry so we had our standards high but not too high since we were eating at this restaurant again. All I have to say is my mind was blown away. Both my husband and I could agree that our server Kyree was such a fine young man and extremely knowledgeable. He knew the menu like the back of his hand. Quite the salesman to. Sold us the specials of the night. My husband had the Southern Fried Chicken which he loved and I had the Broccoli chicken which is now one of my favorites. Even managed to talk us into the chocolate cake. Which was amazing! Can't say we were happy about our hour wait but thanks to our server he made it timeless. We will be back!

My first time here and will not be coming back. Waitress took forever to help us. The food was not that great. Pre made sausage patties, yuck. The food was not even hot when it arrived at the table. My pancakes were so cold, the butter wouldn’t even melt. I was pretty disappointed with the experience. I would not recommend.

"a good place to eat" is an understatement. If you've never eaten here before, I recommend it. I especially love the breakfast menu. They are always good friendly staff at every location which in turn draws that good friendly crowd. The setting is old fashioned, the store and every product on the shelves, old fashioned; food produce, candy, soda, toys, etc.
