we have bought and enjoyed herring from the Day Fish Company for several years; however, today (11/14/14) we drove over and bought two containers and we were so disappointed. Usually the herring pieces are nice and firm and today they were soft and mushy. Very disappointing.

Have purchased herring in wine sauce for the past several years from Cub in Forest Lake, MN. I have been extremely pleased with the product and feel it's the best I have ever tasted. This year I also tried the cream style and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was too. Keep up the good work!

I agree with the earlier review. My husband and myself have purchased/enjoyed Day herring for decades, until we had a batch around Christmas. The flavor was a bit off, and, the texture of the fish was not as firm as we have been accustomed to for years. Disappointing to say the least.

I used to buy cream herring in mich. By the gal. Loved it, now I live in Minnesota and tryed to. Find the cream but hard to find ,finely found at teals Market and lovề it..... wish I could get it the gal size. Please work on this. And more places to carry it. I live in zimmerman.
