I just have to share. I was disappointed with other fish shops because of poor management, poor customer service, etc. I was expecting this shop to be the same but to my amazement, everything was totally opposite. Clean tanks, great fish, superb customer service and so much more. Today, they were shipping out fishes. They told me that they offer trans-shipping services. I'm wasn't sure what that was but they explained to me very well. I look forward to being a regular customer here XD

Nice shop, staff is friendly, busy place. Saw comment regarding tanks with few inches of water in them....its cuz they are replacing water. Some fish breeds need water changed frequently. Study your fish before passing judgement.

Stopped in for the first time today. I won’t be back. I have made a list of fish stores to check out and was really excited about this one but the smell of dead fish hit me as soon as I walked in the door and when I looked around there were a lot of dead and dying fish. Most of them were dead for so long I had no idea what they were because they were so far along in decomposition. Really sad and gross.

When we walked in, we weren't even acknowledge. Not a lot of fish were stocked at the time so maybe bad timing but the fish they did have all looked sick. Plenty of tanks had dead white fuzzy fish or just parts of fish still rotting away. Lots of the tanks were discolored and almost all the bettas were lethargic with excess food and waste clouding their jars. The only decent fish and tanks were the ones containing the guppies with live plants. We decided to just leave and were finally acknowledge when we thanked the cashier and even then, he didn't even bother to look up from his monitor.

Waste of time coming here. Sad, skinny, depressed and dying fish everywhere. The front desk guy is just stone-cold, and doesn't even talk. Saw some Smaragdina wild betta that had 1/4 of the 1 gallon jar filled with water that obviously evaporated. I was surprised to see them actually dead. They don't even care for the fish. This place going to HELL real soon.

i really want this guy to succeed. i went there a couple of weeks ago during a saturday after noon. i called to make sure the store will be open before i travel 2hrs to get to this store. i got to the store and turns out that the store was closed. double check this fb page, double checked his store hours. store is supposed to be open, turns out its closed. seriously bummed out. store was "open" next day, so i called again to make sure its "open". he says store is open, i go. i got in there, the store is a mess. plenty of dead fish in tanks and in jars. ive been around fish long enough to know how long the fish has been dead for and they've been dead for days if not weeks. he doesn't seems to be bother by the state the fish are in or this store. he just sits behind the register and is more concerned about touching his phone. his bettas are miss labeled. HMPK and HM are mixed and scattered all over the shelves. even he cant find what is what. been around bettas long enough to know what is what. found what i was looking for and left as fast as possible. i wouldnt recommend this place unless u really need something only he can provide.

The smell hit me first, but it was a hot humid day so I went in open minded. I went here a very long time ago and remembered it being nice, this is no longer the case. About one in 15 were dead. And 1 in 5 of those were decomposed so far they were unrecognizable. We wanted to save a few when we were leaving, but at 20.00 a piece it wasn't feasible. I will check bank in a couple weeks and change my review if the store steps their game up. It was a very depressing trip.

Who goes for a 2 hour break anyways? Smh had me waiting for 30 mins then i decided to go and come back later , after an hour i came back and it still says "on break" on the door. Disappointed smh

Big letdown. The one person working in the store was more interested in staring at their phone then anything else, when I asked him what the plants were he had no clue what kind of plants they were.

When I walked in the entire store smelled awful, the little girl greeted me when i entered. The tanks had big moldy balls of uneaten food in the bottom. Some tanks had dead fish so covered in white mold that you could barely see the tail fin sticking out. All the fish looked very unhappy. I didnt see a single fish swimming around their tanks happily. The fish in the tanks were for the most part completly mislabled. The adult in the store was doing 100% water changes on the tanks when i visited (and i mean fully draining and refilling) there were some fish completely covered in ich. There were large costco sized pickle jars in the back of the store with bettas inside the jars looked much cleaner but the bettas werent big and splayed out happily with their fins, they were more fins clamped and they all sat very still. They also had a small selection of chemicals and aquarium maint. Which to be expected were a few dollars more then the big box pet stores(which is ok). I love fish and would never put any of those fish in my tanks . its a bummer. I wont be back.

I went a few months ago, just didn't get to write a review. I went looking for shrimp after messaging them and they said they had shrimp and also to ask about them being a transhipper since I was going to order a betta. Never saw any shrimp. MANY dead fish. Many dead fish that were past recognition. Boxes of Bettas in small bags, many of which were dead or seemed dead. Needless to say, I didn't ask about him receiving a fish for me and we left. So many dead fish everywhere. Awful shop.

Best price & selection of bettas in town. Not like other expensive betta stores that charge you $50 for a betta. These guys bettas range from $10-$30 and have just the same quality. Right now, they have a deal of buy one get one free so I came home with an extra guy ^_^

Walked in and was immediately disappointed. Lots of the tanks had probably two or three inches of water in them with large fish that were barely submerged. I'm not exaggerating when I say at LEAST 25% of the fish I saw, bettas included, were already dead. A large number were also still dying or had visible signs of illness. Many of the tanks had brown algae all over the glass, one tank so bad I couldn't even see into it. All tanks were bare but for a sponge filter. And I saw tanks with two or three male bettas together tearing each other up, and a beat up sorority with only 3 bettas in it. There's a better store literally a couple blocks away on the same road. I would avoid this place if I were you- 20$ for a sick betta? Shame on you, I can find the same quality at literally any petco for 6$ or 7$.

I love this place. They have great customer service and the fishes here are amazing. The shop is in rough condition but I think it’s from heat. Overall this place is nice and they have lots of fishes to choose from.

The bettas here are beautiful! My sister and I stopped in this afternoon and brought home a lively, healthy, halfmoon betta, but it was so hard to decide on one because they were all so lovely! It’s a perfectly fine fish shop, and I feel like most of the negative reviewers here are just angry because it’s not Petsmart and they don’t know what it takes to run a fish store. I didn’t see a single dead fish, the tanks were clean... It’s fine, guys. Relax. Give it a try. I totally recommend this place.
