We went there today (Memorial Day) and the girl I think was surprised by being so busy, my crew accounted for 8 guests amongst the other regulars - she brought our order in fantastic speedy fashion. being that this was the closest place to find vegetarian pastys to Iron River, it was totally worth the trip. My family said the traditional ones were the best they have ever had. We are going to make this the place to stop on the way to Iron River from now on. We came up from Chicago

Just off the highway. Always thought it was just a part place, but it isn't. Nice little place to get lunch, would be nice if they were open for dinner... Wide variety of food including soups, sandwiches, burgers, salads, pies, and of course pasties. Their chips are awesome. The do have a Friday fish fry as well. Inexpensively price decent food....

I just ate one of their pasties from the grocery store... Umm, way good. Waaaaayyyyy good. Go buy one at Cash Wise, they're next to the chitterlings in the freezer. Best frozen food I've ever eaten.

Tried a pasty for the first time after hearing it being an Upper Peninsula thing. It was so good and I will always get one each time I visit. I had to also get some Mackanaw Fudge Ice Cream too. The staff here were so friendly and the good we tried was really good. The do a fish fry on Fridays but they don't do White Fish.

I have not actually been to the Pasty Oven, but the university I attend orders the breakfast pasties every now and then. They are eggs, ham, cheese, and potatoes in a crust shell. They slightly salty and dense enough to eat almost like a sandwich. I'm very fond of them!

I ordered some pastys to be delivered here in Boise, Idaho which is a long way from Michigan. We had a few challenges getting the shipments here, and in good shape. The Pasty Oven did a remarkable job getting things ironed out and our shipment to us. The problem was with FedEx. We got our box today and look forward to a pasty dinner tonight. Edit: Had the pastys last night and they were great. Wife loved the chicken, I liked the beef/sausage. Even better as cold left-overs.

U don't want to know poor service my daughters sandwich was burned and when I sent it back she got a Philly cheese steak with no veggies so I returned it and told them I was not paying for it and I got " the vegetables r frozen would have taken too long" so in a nutshell I would say go somewhere else

This place does not look like much from the road. It is a cosey little dive. The people are nice. However the food!!!! OMG there food is AMAZING!My husband and I where visiting iron mountain, drove by this place and did not think much we where told by many local people that we should stop we did a d man am I happy we did. The pasty they had with potato rutabaga and ground meat was, amazingly fabulous!!!! We went 2 times and boy where consistent and the best way to describe it is yummy. Oh and it was very well peiced!
