Great choice of fresh fish & seafood! Haven't eaten there yet but will sometime soon. They are also a food vendor at the Muskegon Farmer's Market if their store is open. One of the owners was Very helpful when I wanted to send my brother in Fl some good tasting fish. He was very surprised but enjoyed every bite! His was an overnight delivery. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!!

I was at the cheeselady shop, which is amazing btw. Debra told me to try the fishmongers wife. Boy am I glad I did! I bought some smoked whitefish.... amazing. Also got a large salmon fillet. Best I have ever had. And I travel coast to coast. But the Lake Michigan dip......... wow, over ths top. I will definately be a regular. Now if I could get there when thdy have smoked chub, I would make my dad the happiest man in Michigan! Wonder if they have a list they can put you on. Thanks Debra at the cheeselady for a meal fit for a king.

We've purchased shrimp, scallops and salmon from the Fish Monger's Wife and there is absolutely no comparing the quality of their products to anything purchased in a typical grocery store. We also appreciate that they take the time to learn about what they sell, knowing where and when it was caught and about how sustainably caught/farmed everything is. Highly recommended!

so, first time I went in there ever ... there was one customer in there when I walked in ... I was in there for about 10 - 15 minutes ... she clerk never acknowledged me, I seen some smoked fish that looked great, I would have prolly bought a couple pounds ... but I got tired of waiting without even so much as being told "it'll be X minute(s)" not even a hello ... Totally rude, will never return.

While in Muskegon for work I stopped by this place unsure if it was a fish market, restaurant or whatever but looking for fish of course. I saw an Open flag outside so I walked in, just to be asked una very rude way “what can I help you with? While looking at me as if had done something wrong. I looked around for a minute feeling very uncomfortable because the guy behind the counter stop doing what he was doing to look at every one of my moves, of course I decided to leave empty handed, once in my vehicle I though I was probably being paranoid so I inside the store and the guy was going after every one of the steps I had taken inside the store while following me up with his sight, I was so scared that just took of. I’m not going to lie the place was clean and the fish looked good!

Great local fish market that actually catch some of their own fish (they also ship in saltwater delicacies). They will also smoke your fish for you for cheap! I brought a couple salmon to them and was very happy. I was able to get a good look in the back of the store and it was extremely clean. Will be back!
