Excellent fish and chips here. Both baked and breaded & fried. Not greasy, portions are moderate but enough to fill you. Little things like the great tartar sauce and cole slaw round out the meal nicely. Get the risotto as a side dish and you won't be disappointed.

Oh my gosh! So much food in the fish basket! My hubby had the sweet potato, which was delicious. I had the fries, also very well seasoned. Fish was generous portions and flaky inside. Not greasy at all. Would definitely stop again and recommend!

Hands down our favorite whitefish in Michigan! This place is so cute and fun. You get a load of fresh whitefish that is caught by the family. It's delicious and at a very good price for the u.p. Very friendly and fast service! We are willing to drive far for this place. And the view is by far the best. Definitely recommend, try it out you won't regret!

Incredible place to stop for lunch. I've been coming here for years on the way up to Copper Harbor, each time the restaurant has expanded and looks a little different, but the food always stays exceptional. The smoked fish soup is addictive, fish tacos are great, and the fish and chips is practically a revelation compared to other Midwestern fish fries. My usual plan is to stop back on the way back down, but unfortunately they were closed on Labor Day so we couldn't fit in two visits. My one hope is that they eventually do away with the styrofoam and plastic utensils, etc. for people dining there. I know this place started like a food truck, but it would be great if they could do away with so much waste.

Been going there every time we visit UP. This is our place for all our meals. We enjoy all smoked fish and order more during winter. Restaurant is organized, ordering is easy. All ladies enjoy working there. Nice to see some Italian influences on menu. I like their smoked fish chowder and wish that they could sell it frozen.

Living in the Copper Country, and being avid restaurant patrons, we have been eating at the Fish Shack on Quincy Hill (our name for it) since it began business as just a couple of picnic tables and a trailer kitchen diner. They set up business to sell fish dinners and sandwiches caught by the family fishing business (Peterson's Fish Market located adjacent to the restaurant), where they sell fresh-caught Lake Superior fish, along with a smaller selection of imported seafood from elsewhere. The owners of both establishments are Native Americans, and hence are permitted by treaty to engage in commercial fishing on Lake Superior. They go out once a week to fish the Lake, winter and summer, and every Thursday the freshly-caught fish is available for purchase in the Fish Market, or available to be eaten at this restaurant. In other words, this is the freshest fish one can get in the Keweenaw. They continue to explore new items and recipes on their menu, and offer some of their dishes based on Native American cuisine, which makes this a truly unique place to eat. It is not much to look at, but in my opinion this is the top place where I take out-of-town visitors to eat, as it features local food and local cuisine prepared by indigenous people who have made the Keweenaw their home for thousands of years. They are friendly, the food is inexpensively priced, and you get so much value out of your dollar here, but don't expect the Waldorf Astoria - it's simple, excellent food.

Great fish we all loved it. Come for the fish and cute location. One star off for the excessive plastic use . Plastic utensils wrapped in plastic, plastic ramekins for all sauces and slaw, plastic cups for here orders. For such a great place it was a little disappointing.

Literally my favorite place to get fish and chips in the UP!! They do a light dredge on their fish, not a thick, heavy batter. Smoked fish chowder is pretty tasty too! Seating is limited to a large screened in porch-- if the weather is inclement, I'd keep that in mind. To my knowledge, they do not have a public restroom. However, they always have a porta-potty out by the picnic tables. They also currently have a Pokemon gym on the property.

The best whitefish I have ever eaten. I had the parmesan crusted baked whitefish, but traded for a sample of breaded fried and Singapore chili. All were very flavorful and delicious. The accompanying french fries were and reminder of the original McDonald's french fries before the cooking oil was changed. Fast and friendly service. Fair prices will ensure this business remains profitable and popular for a long time to come. A must stop and eat place.

We researched white fish from Muncie Indiana and saw that Four Sons was rated highly. We were not disappointed. The baked white fish was beyond good. Not a white table resturant at all. But the meal was ready sooner than we expected. If you like just plain good fish and not a pay for fancy this is the place to eat. This will be included in our annual visit to the UP!

We have some friends that love the fish from here. My chicken strips were ok. However my wife did not enjoy her fish at all. Mayhaps it was a fluke, and we will try again next time we are in the area.

Worth the stop. Not sure how to describe this fun little gem. It's almost like an excellent food truck but with a dining area thats covered with open windows and lots of fun stuff to look at and read. It's like a really clean shack or something. The food is excellent, quick, and cheap. Fresh fish every morning from next door. Best place to stop at if you're heading north!

*I took this picture more than halfway through my meal! The servings are very generous! Fours Suns absolutely lives up to the glowing reviews. The Whitefish is caught and served fresh daily, which must be the reason it is not open in the winter, because there is certainly a local demand. 2:30 in the afternoon, there were only a few tables seated, but several people stopped in to pick up orders for families at home. This meal was better than the Fish and Chips I had in London.

Really liked this place. It's very small, but their fish is very good. My husband and I both had the whitefish fried. If I loved here it would probably be frequented by is a lot. They do close inn the winter.

We actually ate lunch and dinner here today because it was that good. We had white fish tacos and fish chowder for lunch, and Parmesan crusted White fish for dinner. Both very good. The place is very casual and cute and the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the only bathroom is a porta potty. Give it a try!

Eat here. You won't be disappointed! The best fried fish and chips I've had in my life. The chips are fried to Golden perfection and do this amazing thing where they simultaneously crunch and melt in your mouth. The fresh caught whitefish is flaky and flavorful, coated in a breading that is just right. It's not the kind where you take a bite and the fish falls out of a batter shell and you're left with two separate parts. Each bite is a perfect combination of both. The tartar sauce is just right. The portions are generous and if you get a basket, you won't leave hungry. Add on a $1 large soda to wash down your delicious meal. The atmosphere is perfect with a great view of the surrounding area and historic Quincy Mine.
