Got ice cream yesterday and the chocolate ice cream was chocolatey and the vanilla was creamy! Big difference from a rival shop up the road on Route 6. Go this year before they close up shop!

I'd like to think this place is generally good considering the lengthy lines outside, and that we were just unlucky. Of the items we ordered, 2 were cold by the time we got them, and my children were disappointed to find that their meals didn't come with fries as they were supposed to, though we were charged for them. We didn't dare complain because our friend whose lobster mac and cheese balls arrived cold in the center was met with attitude when she brought them back to the counter to complain. Overall it was an unpleasant experience for us today.

The lobster roll is a ripoff beware. They sneakily put it in a tiny hot dog type roll about half the regular size and charge $17.95. Two bites and it is gone. It also has a lot of celery mixed in. Very Disappointing and very unsatisfying!

This is a cozy little place situated on Wellfleet bay with outside seating, right next to Mayo Beach. Food is good, especially the fish and chips, however it's a bit pricey for the portion sizes. Fries are average, fish is fresh, as well as the other seafood. Overall, a quaint little place right on Wellfleet bay, that is sure to hit the spot.

Let me give the positive feedback first. Wonderful ambience, friendly waitress, great company and warm, tasty bread. Now for the not-so-positive feedback. My cod was dry and looked poached, not "broiled." My friend's stuffed flounder was also dry. My other two friends had grilled tuna that was mushy. I remember coming to this place when I was a kid. Different ownership, but very simple. Picnic tables and fresh, reliable food. I know you guys can do better. C'mon, it's a seafood restaurant!

I was appalled when my husband I arrived with our son. I never review about anything but this place takes the cake. I cannot believe people rave about this and we are not food snobs. We paid $7 for chicken tenders and my son only got two cold tenders. The lobster roll was sub par and had no taste and my husbands swordfish meal looked like cafeteria food. I would have rather spent my $60 elsewhere.
