Beautiful location on the water. The menu is family friendly for lunch. You will enjoy the indoor or outdoor seating. Ok, on the menu you will see "knuckle sandwich" check it out especially if you like lobster and don't want to spend alot. I hope you enjoy your visit here as much as we did.

I feel bad. I Did Not have a good experience. Everyone I know loves it here. But I brought my elderly mother and it was sooo loud!! We couldn't have a nice conversation. There were screaming children all around us.The hostess sat us right in the middle of parents with crying children. One family had a challenged child and I don't mean to be insensitive. He was a good kid but kept throwing toys the entire dinner. I had to keep picking them up while eating. Maybe not the establishments fault. But my mom ordered backed stuffed haddock and it was good.. I ordered halibut with asparagus and wild mushrooms and crab ragout. It was horrible. I didn't eat it. It tasted like the chef pours a cup of lime over the dinner. Lime overwhelmed the whole dish. Don't think ill go there again. Oh..I was hungry still so I ordered a crab bisque that was very good

Super staff...especially Rachel and hostess and manager Mike...food excellent..where else would you want to be on a hot Cape Cod evening!

Namrata Saha

I am so glad I found this place! Insane food and a special mention to the freshly baked corn bread with the butter spread, its to die for!! And they give it as a complimentary appetizer. Do visit if you are in cape cod. Extremely romantic and lively with live music and sound of sea waves.

James Robertson

Impeccable service. Beautiful atmosphere. Outstanding food! Cannot recommend high enough.

sue b

Food and service (Chris was our waitress) were outstanding!!!! Best seafood around! Doesn't get any fresher than this!! Thank you for a great experience!! You'll see me again

Marisel Hayes

Lunch was great and very tasty..Martinis were awesome too. Atmosphere was live and fun!!! The view was spectacular!! Our server was awesome!

paula holdgate

Our favorite neighborhood restaurant with captivating views of a sweet little marina with fishing boats and the canal. Casual menu is usually prepared with care and great quality almost every time. Only criticisms are that there are no textiles in large open dining room to absorb sound so it's always loud; the live music (while nice) is way too loud for conversation. Truffle fries are awesome but always heavily salted. Keep up the good work FV! So happy to now have the option between beer battered and lightly dusted cod for fish n chips and fish sandwich. The FV burger is to die!! So happy to have you in the 'hood.

Christopher McCarthy

What a phenomenal setting for a restaurant. Food was spectacular. Live local musician and friendly staff. Surprised that I enjoyed the skate over the halibut! Wide menu selection. We will be returning.

Lisa Simmons

Wow!! Thank you for making a somber day beautiful. Staff was amazing. Food was phenomenal.

Steven Schmitt

Really liked it here. I find most restaurants on Cape Cod very disappointing but Fishermens View was great! All of the raw bar was fresh and delicious. The Lobster Knuckle sandwich was great and so was the Calamari and the the corn. Very friendly staff to round it all off!

thomas nevins

neat place right on the canal and a small harbor, lots of views both inside and outside and also a fish market, service was very pleasant at the bar and food very good and different, calamari tasty, knuckle sandwich excellent as was the roasted beet salad with crab cakes...drinks were good and as ordered....nice spot!

Eric Carey

The salad was laughable and looked like it took thirty seconds to make. Especially when you order shrimp with it and your $22 salad is a poor excuse for a meal. Bad presentation and taste. Upon alerting the staff of my dissatisfaction, I was made to feel as though I was the problem and was told that "everyone else likes the salad". The staff was extremely rude and dismissive. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. BAD BAD BAD

James Faurote

Talk about a meal with a view! I had the lobster knuckle sandwich and it was easily one of the best one I have ever had. Can get a little pricey but completely worth it.

Mike W

We always enjoy every meal we have had here. Service is great & the views are fantastic!

Skip Don

Greasiest scallops I have ever been served!!! Fortunately, they were served on brown paper and I could press the grease out of them. Once I did that, they were delicious!!! Very sweet and tender!!

Rob Roy Quinzani

Simply Fantastic! Food and service were excellent.

Bailey Gordon

Amazing food and an amazing view! Some of the best sea food I have had in awhile. Fresh and delicious.

Gregg Foster

Had a great experience here . Will definitely come back . The waitstaff was very nice and the food was delicious . This could be a new spot for my buddies and I .

Ricky Graham

I was very disappointed with my order. $30 scallop plate with only 5 scallops. The sweetpotato and what ever else was added, overwhelmed the scallops and the brussel sprouts, what there was of them, I think I actually spotted two. The presentation was beautiful, but I went there to eat a meal. I have had $10 appetizers at restaurants that served more than what was on my plate. I don't think I will be going back there again.

Hanna Ellis

The food was delicious! Went with a group of five. We had both of the lobster rolls. I preferred the warm one, but rave reviews for both from all. We also had the grilled octopus, the scallop risotto, the Jonah's crab claws, the tuna poke, and the F/V burger. All was well received. The best of the meal was the DELICIOUS corn bread loafs that came before dinner. Lots of food. We ordered too much. Nice place right on the Cape Canal. All was good. Did not bust the wallet either. I would highly recommend if you are in/near Sandwich, MA.

We had another excellent experience at the Fisherman View. My husband and I along with our two sons started at the bar with delicious hand crafted cocktails and the crab cakes and swordfish meatballs. The crab cakes were very good, however the swordfish meatballs were not only different but had great flavor and texture. They were a favorite. We had the pleasure of sitting next to and chatting with Bob while at the bar. I happened to mention that next visit we would try the Crab Gazpacho which look delicious. (Bob was having this) It was later sent to our table for us to try. Oh My!! It was Crab Gazpacho with strawberry and a creme that brought Gazpacho to a whole new level. Fantastic! Bob, a very pleasant man who graduated from Mass Maritime is one of the owners of this wonderful food experience!! We are happy to have met and talked with him. I had the seared tuna on risotto for my dinner. It was cooked perfectly and the portion was perfect. The knuckle sandwich, warm lobster sandwich and a beer battered fish sandwich were all part of our amazing dinner. Always a special treat is the warm corn bread with chipotle butter served with dinner. The salty spicy flavor of the butter with the sweet corn bread is perfection. The service was superior, from the wait staff to bartenders. They are friendly and attentive. If you haven’t been, this is the restaurant to try when you are in the Sandwich area!! My husband says go there with an open minded pallet, you will not be disappointed. Keep in mind no reservations during the summer so plan on enjoying the views while sipping some wonder spirits, before this amazing culinary experience.

Jonny Mysiuk

We sat outside, which had a great view of the water and the music created a great ambience. Shortly into dinner we began getting bombarded with bugs (which makes me assume why inside had a shorter wait time). As for the food, we started off with crab cakes which were above average. For entrees, my wife got the stuffed haddock, while I got the center cut swordfish. My wife enjoyed hers and I thought the side pairings were not the best fit for my meal. Overall we would definitely come back and would probably even sit outside, but would see more value in having a drink along with an app than a meal.

Olivia Grace

We were impressed! We were told it would be a 30-45 minute wait and we waited maybe 25. It was busy and not your quiet dinner, but enjoyable. Loved the water view and our waitress was great. The owner treated us to an appetizer and was beyond friendly. Great food and atmosphere. Definitely recommend & would return. Also the prices were pretty great too!

Nancy Dunn

Beautiful view of the Cape Cod Canal and Sandwich marina from inside and out! Live entertainment inside and out on patio on many visits. Good service and food. Not a fan of their clam chowder recipe - too much white wine and potato in it. Located right on the mainland side of the Canal Bike Path so you can bike to lunch. Be prepared to wait for outside tables on summer weekends.

Leslie Cameron

Our waiter Brendan was wonderful..The food was absolutely amazing..I got the broiled haddock and chowder and my husband got the little necks and swordfish..The venue was immaculate and classy. Prices were appropriate for our order. Our new favorite restaurant while visiting the Cape..Great job !

Sharon Lynch

The food was excellent, BUT the noise level in the main dining room was extremely loud to the point of being uncomfortable. We could not wait to leave. I hope management does something to mitigate the acoustics generated by the three walls of picture windows, lofty wooden ceiling, and wood floors. The sound reverberates through the room and is painful when there is a child shrieking at a table on the other side of the room. The fact I have given Fishermen’s View four stars says tons about how delicious the food is. We had Seared Scallops and local Striped Sea Bass - fabulous - and our lovely bottle of Muscadet was reasonably priced. Please, management, address the sound issues so that we can look forward to returning.

Paul Hyde

Won't find a better view anywhere. Lunch menu was somewhat limited for my taste. Found myself having to choose between a $14 burger or a $27 scallop plate. Food was good, service a bit slow. 3 appetizers and 3 entrees came out to @ $95 before tip.

Brenda Lapierre

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here food was amazing and the service impeccable. It was a birthday celebration for my daughter and we could not have chosen a more beautiful beautiful view. Cannot wait to return to Fishermen's View,,and watch the sunset over the ocean.

K Hay

I tasted my first lobster roll sandwich It was good but not worth $27. Lobster roll sandwiches seem to be priced about that level everywhere in Boston. Service was very attractive.

Natalie Thrasher

Hubby and I had the most delicious Lobster

Melanie Costa

Always stop here when at the cape. Love looking at the canal especially while dining out. The food is very good especially the calamari it is to die for. My husband loves the twin lobsters along with the corn bread. Staff is super friendly and it is reasonable priced for being by the ocean.

Miguel Olmo

I love this market, we order lobsters and have them steamed here when we come down for vacation, sushi is great and so many other items, better than spending $ at a restaurant and not getting your money's worth.

Dotty Tuttle

Great dinner to celebrate my birthday. Menu varied and delicious. Teresa was a wonderful server. Pleasant and knowledgeable. All in our group enjoyed each dish.

Tracy Morrison

Great food and great entertainment.

Word Bet

Me and my girlfriend Josie loved this place stumbled upon it looking for fresh seafood that doesn’t fry everything. Highly recommend for real fresh seafood! Crab, scallops oysters clams ect. off their own boat!

Eddy Noonan

Service was very good. NOT MUCH FOOD FOR THE PRICE. Scallop roll had 5 scallops only. Clam roll was a little skimpy as well. Maybe they had an off day..

Art Beecher

06.03.19 Visited Fishermen's View with a group. Had not ever been, and the Yelp reviews commenting on the excellent view were spot on. Our waitress, Kelsi, was great. She only flinched once, when we asked for separate checks for all 11 of us

Jennifer Kaminski

Why would anyone go anywhere else for seafood!!!! The Bang Bang Shrimp was out of this world and the lobster/tuna sushi roll was absolutely incredible!!!! I'm going back there at least 5 more times before I leave the Cape.

Melissa Medeiros

This was our 2nd time here, 1st was pretty good. Unfortunately just had a late lunch today, that was Horrible! It started the waitress said we're getting busy so could you order your starters and entrees at the same time. ?? I had chowder just ok and not hot. the shrimp cocktail was pretty good. The fish sandwich and fries were so Greasy that was cooked in dirty Oil, no pickle which it states on the menu to come with sandwich. My husband got greasy fries, no pickle and he thought frozen lobster in his roll not fresh! The waitress had manager come over for what I don't know? they couldn't ever take our soda waters off the bill. Probably won't be back. There are lots of other better places for seafood it's too bad that fresh seafood off the boats right there are not cooked better.

Phenomenal .

Food cooked to perfection with a speedy fashion and superb presentation

Francis Moran

Excellent food. Superb service. Lovely, helpful people. Gorgeous surroundings on the canal. Highly recommend. (Frank Moran, Quincy, MA)

James McGaffigan

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Got a little bit of an art gallery too, which I enjoyed as well. All for sale. A must visit if in the area. Get there before 5 on a Saturday if you don't want to wait for a table.

Robert Ward

Great food, service, and atmosphere.

ebrire .

My girlfriend found this place while we were driving around in Cape Cod, you have to get off the main highway, but the trip is totally worth it. The location is excellent, we had a great experience from beginning to end, reception, waitress, food, dessert. The view is pretty, the food was nice and tasted great, all fresh. My GF also had a drink and liked it a lot. Impeccable and highly recommended.

Judyth Stavans

My mom's friends brought us here for an absolutely lovely birthday lunch! Our server, Chris, was wonderful! I had the beet salad with grilled scallops. Mom had the clam chowder and shrimp cocktail. We all shared the chocolate cake and vanilla bean ice cream. Everything was beautifully presented and yummy. In addition to all this, the views of the canal are great. We'll definitely be back!

Frank Ferrini

Food and service was exceptional. I wish it could be this easy to dine here all the time! Get in there before the summer crowd hits!! They keep it fresh and exciting.

Danica Bahadur

This was my second visit and I’m still impressed by how delicious their food is. I typically visit the Cape for work but this place is only 30 minute drive and I’m always willing to travel for food

David Piazzo

Amazing new spot. 1 year old in 2017,Their own fleet of fishing vessels catch their fish and transfer them from the boats to a 4000 gallon salt water tank until you order! The most amazing food anywhere. Local oysters and steamers. Amazing staff! We have come to know Trish, Jack, Laurie, Chloe, Patrick! These folks treat you like friends!

bruce newell

The interior decoration is great, but the food I had was unacceptable. The clam chowder lacked clams and the potatoes were mushy. I also had the fried fish sandwich. The fried cod looked great, however it wasn't fresh. They serve frozen fish. The bottom of the fish and bottom bun was soaked. When you fry fresh fish it doesn't have the concentration of moisture that a frozen fish filet has. Last point to make, previously frozen fish are less expensive then fresh fish. I will pay more for fresh fish any day of the week.

Byongjagee B

A great view of the ocean. The food is great especially the fish. The market is a little small, but adequate. Been going here since it opened in 2016!!!

Kathleen McPhee

Meal was slightly overlooked Service was outstanding.

Barbara Granger

Ordered 2 2lb lobsters steamed to go for my trip home back to Philadelphia ... great service ... good advice on making sure ready to eat several hours later ... lobsters best we've ever had ...

Andrew Nguyen

Unfortunately my family did not have a pleasant experience here. It started off great but then our server disappeared. We cancelled our entrees after waiting an hour but the staff seemed to do everything in their power to prevent us from leaving. They wouldn’t even bring us our check for the drinks and apps. Then on the way out, I let the server know I was not impressed with his absence and delaying bringing our check. The owner stopped us and had the audacity to tell me that “service was adequate, I checked the video tapes and I’ll send them to you.” Considering how highly this restaurant is rated, we were surprised at how poorly we were treated.

Stu Feldman

Tried fish twice, happy with quality and price.

Bernie Bower

Excellent service and food. Would highly recommend if you can stand the wait for dinner

Tom Maine

Great location with beautiful views of the canal and harbor. Food and service are consistently good, although I haven't had a "wow" experience with any of my meals there yet. A good place to take your summer visitors for the view/location, if not the food.

Artie

The food was just okay. We ordered the muscles as an app very bland, my almost 30 dollar lobster roll on a fancy hotdog roll was a joke. It has a nice view of the canal but the place is so noisy we had to basically yell to communicate with each other.

Andrea 111

The restaurant was not willing to put a vegan meal together. Seems like a simple request. After complaining to the manager they gave me a kids pasta meal. Wasn’t what I was expecting. They said in winter they would accommodate. Guess what, we won’t be going back in winter or back in summer again. The service was mediocre.

Corey K

My wife and I absolutely loved the place!! Top quality seafood. Expect a wait, the popularity blocks reservations. Good things are worth waiting for

Mustafa Nakawa

Family owned restaurant serve what theycaught . While waiting our table, I check their fish market attached to the restaurant. The owner was very friendly and gave us a tour. The view was great and our server Rachel was very friendly. We ordered fish and sushi. The sushi was fresh and one of the best I tried. The fish was good but missing herbs and spices, and served with small pice of lemon(still way better than any fish you will order in Boston restaurant). I am giving 4 stars instead of five because there is no reservation and we waited more than an hour for our table, and the music was too loud for a dinning restaurant.

Marti Varney

Had the fried cod sandwich with Cole slaw and yummy potato salad. We finished lunch off with fabulous strawberry shortcake just the way I like it with shortcake like what you make with Bisquick, crispy on the outside and soft inside. It was topped with fresh make whipped cream! The only that could have made it better would be more strawberries. I highly recommend Fisherman's View. It's right on the water so you can enjoy the view.

JM S

The Chef knows how to please the palate. I ordered the broiled scallops, with maple glazed carrots, and fried potatoes. I was totally impressed with the baked scallops. They were done to perfection. Tender, cooked through to perfection, and seasoned to my taste. I take my food very seriously. As a person with food allergies, I have to make it be known to the kitchen the severity of certain spice allergies. I applaud the waitress for checking with the Chef about my allergies, and the Chef for being careful with the seasoning of my food. My dinner was AMAZING! The Chef was able to use spices that I was able to eat while providing me with the most delectable scallops I've ever tasted! Two brothers own this restaurant and provide diners with the freshest of seafood: from boat to plate. As I write this I am looking forward to visiting this wonderful establishment again. I cannot thank all involved in preparing my meal enough for keeping me safe. I give Fisherman's View the highest of accolades. This is definitely a restaurant worth visiting.

Elizabeth Stephanian

We started with mussels, they were deliciously different. Not spicy at all. Served in a buttery almond sauce. My husband had swordfish over a house salad and I enjoyed scallops with a corn salsa. Both were fantastic. Can't wait to go back.

Ellen Dacey

Freshest seafood. Great view.

Jim Hookie

Pictures are of the most expensive cruise ship in the world and the best seafood restaurant in the world. "Scenic explorer" and "fisherman's view"

Rob Cushing

Great sushi and oysters, great service despite it being so busy

Greg DeCristofaro

Very friendly service, excellent food and great views. The prices were more than reasonable.

Alex Lee

This place is so yummy! Party of 3 went on a Saturday night and were told the wait would be 2 hours. We weren’t starving so that wasn’t a problem so we sat out with a drink in hand on the beautiful patio down by the water which was beautifully lit with lights above and heat lamps and there was a guy playing guitar. We ended up waiting less than the two hours and were brought to our table out on the enclosed porch. My only complaint was that the chairs were very hard and uncomfortable. We got the muscles, beet salad and the spring rolls to share and everything was very good. So good that we came back the next night for more. This time, it was a Sunday and the wait was only 15 minutes. We had to sit in the same seats out on the porch but that was okay. We got the artichoke dip to start which was served with, I’m assuming, their homemade chips. Very good. And the three of us eyes the Seared Scallop Gnocchi the night prior and decided that’s what we wanted tonight. It was a great choice and totally lived up to our expectation. We did add a couple of Jonah crab legs which were lacking much meat but that’s obviously that’s out of their control. Next time we come back to the Cape, we will definitely be back! Absolutely recommend this place.

Christopher Owen

Great food and a view of the bay.

Sally Cooper

Absolutely the best tastiest salad of my entire life!! I am vegan and so was this. ACE! Fabulous place and super service. If you are anywhere near treat yourself!!

Jackson Palmborg

Food was AWESOME and very friendly staff!!

Shantle McMorris

I ordered the lobster and crab combo and my mom ordered the swordfish... It was the best ... Out of this world the clam cowder took me..its expensive but it was a great treat

donna andrews

Great food! Great service! Had lunch there for the first time. had fish and chips, scallop plate and cups of clam chowder. Very good. Had clams in every bite of the chowder! The only not so good part was how loud it was and we was on the deck. Way to loud especially when there are children in there. Will go again!

Liz Lyons

My new favorite local restaurant. Everything is so fresh. They own their own boats and alot of the seafood you order comes directly to you from their boats off loaded via the Canal. It's just like farm to table only it's canal to table. They also have amazing sushi and a fish market located on the side of the restaurant

Jared Sclar

The Warm Lobster Roll was amazing. The service was great. Enjoyed the live music.

Donna Thomas

2 years young and, well, simply FANTASTIC! Open for lunch & dinner, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, with indoor and (seasonal) outdoor entertainment this is THE place to eat. To say the fish is fresh is an Understatement! They have their own boats and the fish arrives daily! The Fish Market offers FRESH delicious fish/lobsters and fresh frozen fish to take home with you! The decor is simple, the waitstaff SO nice & helpful & accomodating. Though 2nd floor, they have an elevator lift so easy for handicapped/wheelchair patrons. Full service bar inside, 20+seats THE VIEW? It cannot be beat, period!!!! Rain/Snow/Cloudy or whatever it is the quintessential dining spot for Any Occasion! Simply amazing............You're going to LOVE it!!!

Jared Fox

Oysters were awesome! Great service with a great view of the canal. We'll definitely be back.

2011Cape .

Always enjoy the food, atmosphere, and staff there. Sure, it’s a bit more expensive but sometimes you have to pay a little bit more for the location.

Bill Delaney

I really like this place! Awesome atmosphere, fantastic food, and great cocktails. The service is fantastic! Highly recommended!

Mike Good

Likely the best meal ever. Fresh bass, lobster scampi, peach cobbler, custom cocktail, excellent service. Impressive!

pamela swansey

My BF and I arrived on a gorgeous sunny Saturday for lunch. We had no reservations and walked right in for indoor table. Told 30 minute wait for outside. Our waiter started out attentive about how their seafood was caught fresh daily and went over menu nicely Started with chowder which arrived Luke warm. Sent both back. Waited 10 minutes for waiter to check on chowder. We had to ask a different waitress to warm up our chowder. When it arrived after being reheated forgot to bring me a spoon. Brought oyster crackers for BF but forgot mine. I've had better chowder. It was ok. Not a lot of stock. Calamari was good. Sushi was outstanding in quality and presentation. Glass of Chardonnay $11 Mojito very good with fresh mint. Our main course for lunch was full bodied clam roll which clams were overcooked and more dark than usual. Portion was good $16 BF had broiled haddock $22 for lunch which was very pricey and small portion for lunch. Roasted red potatoes were greasy Waiter had to be asked to get us napkins and silverware. A different waitress brought our meals to us because he was outside serving other customers. Waiter never asked at the end if we wanted dessert or coffee. Overall food was good but service was less than acceptable. Simple things like forgetting napkins and silverware is basic waitressing. I couldn't be anymore generous than 2 star review because of the poor service We received and it was not even busy

Vincent Kosorek

I was looking forward to taste some great clam chowder. I order a to go pint. The server cautioned me to be careful cause it was hot. It was not hot, barely warm. I took it back and mentioned this to them. It was met with disdain. But they warmed it in the microwave. So now the outside was warmer and center still cool. So now to taste it. Potato cubes, flour thickener and where were the clams? Very disappointing. Steer clear of this place for clam chowder

Wendy Thompson

This is a great place to go off season. It's just too busy in the summer. We had a few items and all were very good, but the stand out item was the quinoa side dish, which was delicious!

nation022002 .

Food good, not great. Way to loud, more of a drinking establishment and eating I'm very very loud. If you're looking for a quiet night out don't go there. I will not be returning to the restaurant, the seafood market yes.

Devin Marie Marcinkevich

I travel down to the cape almost every weekend from Salem NH, my boyfriend live there and we have tried almost every restaurant on the cape (not really but A LOT) and this is my all time favorite place! I want to go here each time I come down! The have the nicest service, beautiful view and great food! Their sushi is amazing also!

Jeanne Long

One of my new Cape Cod favorites! Great cod, great view. See you next year!

Steven Tomasi

Food is ok. Chowder could have been hotter and some clams present. Live music is nice but too loud for the dining area... have to to yell to talk across the table. View is spectacular

chris s

Great staff and great bartenders with great drinks

Linda Sullivan

We had a party of 8 for lunch, very unique offerings that looked good, however, it took 1 hr. For our food! With no explanation as to why. The lobster roll with the butter was a little dried out and the one with mayo/lemon was good but both were puny for the cost of $27 n it wasn't as fresh as we thought it would be. The scallop roll was very small too, with 4 scallops in it!The restaurant itself was very loud, minor decor, rather boring, had no charm,no white table clothes n the 2 tables they put together were uneven (the only thing going for it is the canal view). Not sure if we'd give it another try at $230.00 for lunch ( by the way with only 2 beers are in that price) there are plenty of nicer restaurants on cape with excellent food for a more reasonable price!

Lorna Spencer

Portion sizes are small but the food is delicious especially the carrot cake. I will be back in August.

Katie Shea

EXCELLENT food, a stunning view, and great service. There are 3 different seating areas, inside, outside and a screened in porch. Perfect for any occasion!

Peter Hebert

Fine wait staff and good eats and drinks, capped off with stunning view of the canal and live music... The fish is excellent... Great place

Bruce R

They do not take reservations so you have to often wait substantial time, an hour or more. Thus, you go to the downstairs patio bar. Excellent drink, but too expensive. The menu is limited and also expensive...$3 for cocktail prawns. Even though some of the dishes include fries, you cannot order fries alone. The service is bad, as noted by some reviews. This is not the top seafood restaurant at the basin. Their clams are not in the top three of the three seafood restaurants there. The views are great, but not worth the wait.

Tracey Wilkinson

Great place, great food, great views, great service. I would absolutely go again! We loved it.

Phil Olsen

Amazing place!! Growing up in a seaside town, I love a good seafood dinner. I had an amazing view of the sunset, and the food was so delicious and fresh. I will most definitely be coming back here everytime I come to the Boston area. Thank you so much!

David Garcia

Great sea food, awesome chowder with potato and bacon, great lobster sandwich on warm buttered roll. Beautiful views of water and boats. Friendly service. Recommended

Thomas Hurley

I am 14 years old I love this place it is awesome. The food awesome. The staff awesome. The views awesome. Best I’ve ever had.

Carli McCoy

We stumbled on this place while searching for dining with a view near the Sandwich boardwalk last night & we are so happy to find it! It’s the tail end of summer, it was busy so the wait for a table for 5 was a little long but expected & it was nice to have the kids play at a playground next door while we watched the sunset over the Bourne bridge. Service was quick & knowledgeable. Cornbread made fresh for every table? Insanely good. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. It was so good, we came back tonight! We went all out for the 2lb lobsters and we left completely satisfied (surprisingly no butter stains!) Have to say the price is very fair for the quality of seafood you are getting - we actually watched the owners pull up to shore with a boat full of Jonah Crabs freshly caught that day. Incredible & authentic shore experience that we can’t wait to have again next year when we come to visit.

Matt Veno

Service was excellent. Perfect recommendations. We stumbles upon this place and will be sure to return.

Elizabeth Reed

LOVE this place. The corn bread is out of this world!! My fav is the Knuckle Sandwich. Views are fantastic ~ we love sitting outside on the back lower deck when it’s warm out. Definitely a place you must-go while on the Cape.

Richard Sullivan

Don't expect anything for your money at this place. What a Rip off! They gave me a whole 5 scallops for $24 I can see charging more money if it's a fancy place but these people should be charged with a crime. Nice cold beer and delicious cornbread. Thanks but no thanks.

Kathy Lynch

Been here several times and we do enjoy the atmosphere and the food, the bar is always way busier than the restaurant, so we don't understand why the bar isn't where the restaurant is, facing the water with that beautiful view, and the restaurant where the bar is??? Food for thought ?

Brande Watson

First time here, today. It is a bit "high class" clientele and pricing, which was initially a turn off for us, as we are extreme casual people. However, we will pay for fresh, quality food, and the reviews said this was a great place, so we went! Hey....this was AWESOME! We started with a couple of beverages, out on the deck, on a lovely afternoon. We ordered Crab Cakes, which were very different and very yummy. Lots of crab, great flavor, and the little salad that came with it was even KILLER. Ate it all. Then we ordered the sashimi moriawase. 4 kinds of fishies (multiple pieces), all fresh and big portions. I was surprised that I got a cucumber wrapped lobster! It was 2 little pieces, but nothing but lobster inside, likely about an ounce. Yum! We finished with the Crispy Clam Strip breaded Fish and Chips. Whoa! Perfectly cooked, flaky and that breading was light and delicious! Beautiful view, friendly staff. All good!

One of my favorite restaurants, great food, great drinks and great service.

Rick Wolsieffer

Like being at Legal Seafood in the beginning. This place is fantastic. Great food. Fun atmosphere. Super staff. Fish comes right off the boat to your table.

Ted Pappas

Great location overlooking canal. The accoustics of the space make for a certain din. Food and service was fantastic (Swordfish, Halibut). Seen different reviews regarding clam chowder, surprisingly. It was thick, meaty and delicious.

Menu was very limited. No drink order was ever taken and I had the worst salad of my life. The romaine was completely coated in dressing. It was like the bottle accidentally spilled onto my salad. Inedible. Someone at our table had oysters and said although they tasted good, they were unappetizing bc of the grit. Worst experience I've had in a long time.

Service is great. Been coming since 2018, when I relocated to the Cape from the midwest. The haddock stuffed with jonah crab is a go to entree. The lobster/spicy tuna sushi roll is excellent, probably due to the seafood ingredients they source. View of the canal or the harbor is a great add on.

I went here with my family for a birthday celebration. I got the warmed lobster roll with coleslaw on the side. The lobster in it was relatively chewy and flavorless, and the coleslaw was decent, but nothing special. My brother strongly disliked his steak, and my mother's veggie burger was decent. Fortunately, my father ordered a steamed lobster that turned out very good and tasted like a completely different animal to the roll. The waterfront scenery was very nice, though the atmosphere was a bit loud. Overall, I wanted to like this restaurant, but the quality of the food was too inconsistent to bring me back.

After we sent over $ 600.00 in drinks and food the bartender said we had to much to drink Wish she told us there was a limit we would have gone somewhere else

josh brimdyr

Great views of the canal. Awesome Cape Cod food menu. Nice bar too.

Patti-Ann Tanis

It was delicous. Welcoming and enjoyable. Very accommodating and no rush to get us to leave the table!

Helen Baranck

Food is always amazing ....venue whether inside or out is just delightful....waitstaff the happiest , always attentive and knowledgeable about menu & wine offerings !....

Carole Davidson

Fantastic restaurant...great food, service and views. We had the scallops, fried fish, lobster and John Dory. Everyone thought their dish was excellent. Debbie was our server and she was great. Will go back soon.

Dmitriy Richter

Amazing restaurant and fish market with fresh, fantastic seafood and warm, classic ambiance that make it the ideal New England seafood venue. Staff were all very kind and helpful, and the food was unreal. Great spot overall!

Slimeguyry

I came to listen to the Muscisian playing but it was very crowded and got bad seats.

Danielle Marks

Marvelous lunch and mixed drinks, excellent server named Danielle. Everything was tasty and fresh, and she was so kind.

Kathryn Surette

Incredible meal and a beautiful place too!

Adam Mason

Food is decent but the chairs are like being in a 1500's torture device that slowly cramps your thighs together till you slowly die.

Linda Earl

My first time dining there. Lovely dining area. View is to die for... Overlooks Cape Cod Canal. Food was delicious. My friend had a bowl of chowder. Oh it looked so yummy. I had fish and chips. The fish was prepared perfectly. The serving size was very generous. The staff were courteous and efficient. There was also live music in the bar area. I would recommend this restaurant to all. There are burgers if you don't like fish. The waiting area is small. BUT there is an elevator for those who need it. I was grateful that I didn't have to manage the stairs. Please do give this a try

James Smith

Great seafood and atmosphere.

Ajchariya Nardella

Great place with great food. Will be expensive but you get what you pay for. A must for anyone looking for really good food

Trenton Blanchard

The food was excellent and for a very busy evening, the service was fantastic and the food and drinks came out quickly!

Larry Benjamin

Great food and great service

Lotus Blossom

This place had the best scallops I've ever eaten fresh off the boat docked nearby. We had fantastic views and the service was great. Everything was delicious from the lobster ceviche appetizer to the main course. I highly recommend.

Nancy Simison

So good. So friendly. Pretty accommodating with our baby too. Fresh feeling and fresh tasting and a beautiful view. Very busy. Be prepared to wait!

Deb Derby

Great place, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Love the idea that the restaurant is owned by Fisherman the food is locally sourced as much as possible. We also purchased USA shrimp from the seafood market, not always easy to find! Sushi was awesome!

Matthew Wheaton

The atmosphere was fine, but the food was marginal. I had the cod sandwich but it was really more like an "Overcooked Batter Sandwich With a Hint of Cod". Also it seemed like all the fried items we had on our 4 plates were cooked in very over used oil. That taste is unmistakable.

Michelle Martin

Always delicious! Great view, staff and amazing food!!!

Lisa Veracka

My first time here, my family has been before..really enjoyed it! Nice location..atmosphere and food, all great!

Lynn Drummey

Wished we could've sat outside. Too long of a wait. Food very good! Loved the cornbread.

Ginny Kraus

Had lunch there last week and ordered a lobster roll to go. Way overpriced for what was served. The worst lobster roll I have ever been served. Menu says claw and knuckle meat. Well, there were two small claws and the rest was shredded knuckle meat. I have gotten a better lobster sandwich at D'Angelos for half the price. The fish and chips were all batter and very little fish. Will not be returning here.

Daphne Kieffer

We just went for mother’s day, it was a busy day, we sat in the bar area but not at the bar.. none of the bartenders approached us until we did... there were 3 bartenders 2 women and 1 man... we ordered an app with the male bartender and we found out he never put the order in.... we just tried to ignored this issues and enjoy our time.... finally we asked for the check, and the female bartender (the oldest one) was so rude that didn’t even say thanks to us, and threw the check on the table as she walked by... we understand you guys are busy, but you rely on customers too... be attentive and acknowledge your customers.. a lil courtesy goes along way..

Laura Grubb

We were first seated at the bar and were treated to live entertainment. The setting is a Casual environment. Great drink selection. The bar is a little noisy but has great service and ambiance. We then were seated at a window seat. What a great view. I had a lobster salad and seafood gumbo. My husband ordered grease raw oysters and baked scallops. The food was magnificent. You can't beat the water view. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Parking was ample. I would highly recommend this restaurant fir dinner

Scott Tobin

Sea food is always Great and Fresh. I've dined there quite often and recieved excellent service and food.

Matthew Sawash

Place is awesome we have been several times and never been disappointed!!!! Highly recommend!!

Jason McKenna

Came here for my Birthday. Got the Surf & Turf, was so delicious. Husband got the steak(Wish he got something else on it,steak dish was missing something... Maybe veg or a puree)

David McDowall

Fantastic for and service. Best we've had in the Cape. The lobster roll was amazing and the scallops were so tender. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Were able to watch the fishermen on the w wharf which really added to the experience. Expect to pay more than you average meal but it was totally worth it.

Jeremy Hutton

Fun place to get a bite to eat. Right along the canal so you can watch the ships go by. They also have a fish market which makes this a one stop shop .

Jessica King

We went on a chilly, windy day and really enjoyed the heated patio and lovely view. I had the "knuckle sandwich"- lobster, BLT and guacamole on Texas toast! It was delicious. Great service. A highlight of our trip to Cape Cod

John Hansen

I had the warmed Lobster Roll and my wife had the Jonah Crab. We also got the Shrimp Poppers for appetizers. And all were amazing!! I'd reccomend sitting on the dock when you can catch the live music. It was great.

FZR

Very nice place. Very nice food. Very nice view of Cape Cod. Pretty amazing Sunset view as well.

bill bladykas

Great location, food and service

Dave Doolittle

Great food, nice water views, good friendly service. Wife enjoyed a 2 pound lobster. It has it all! Very popular so plan accordingly. Reservations only in the off-season, but still recommended. We saw a brightly lit tugboat sail past us on Cape Cod Canal. Occasional cruise ships pass by here, too!

Larry Klein

My wife, some friends, and I went to dinner last night at Fishermen's View. We've been here before for lunch and thought we'd try dinner. After an expected, long wait for a table we were seated in a nice indoor/outdoor porch area overlooking the harbor - so far so good. The rest of our experience, though, was underwhelming - it seemed as if the restaurant simply was not geared to handle the volume of guests in the evening. Our service, while pleasant, was really slow - to take orders, to bring drinks, finally to bring our orders to our table, etc. Our food was just ok; the entrees (broiled scallops, grilled fish, fish and chips, and bang bang shrimp) were good but the sides (french fries, mashed potatoes, green beans) were almost cold and really bland to eat. We had to ask for bread to enjoy while waiting for our meal, and again had to ask for salt and pepper shakers to bring life to the sides. The porch area was really loud from two groups seated behind us who were having a good time yet had no consideration for others. I would sum up our experience by saying - go for lunch, go for the view, but don't go for dinner, the food, or the service.

Sarah P. Wallace

This place is perfect! We sat by the water and enjoyed oysters and possibly the best friend cod sandwich ever. Definitely worth a visit. We got here at 11;45 and didn’t have to wait at all!

David Miller

Excellent! Great service. Had the Knuckle Sandwich, Very good. We will be back again. No it is not cheap, of you want cheap go to subway

Liza Gom

To be honest, this was not our first choice of rest. to go as I did not know which seafood restaurants were best in this lovely area, and we live out of state - came for a short stay, however, I'm extremely grateful they referred us here as we have enjoyed it very much. I mean, food, scenery, ambiance, friendly staff, we loved it! and would absolutely return next time we're in the area. Thank you guys!

Joyce Bertschmann

We had a delicious lunch with great entertainment! We watched lobster and Jonas crab being unloaded from the boat onto the dock right outside the restaurant as well as tankers traveling up and down the canal. Good service as well as food. We've been there before and will definitely return.

Eric Webster

Great food, portions and atmosphere. Good prices. Clean. Ample parking. Right on the water. Absolutely a 5 star

Sam Buote

Excellent meal tonight at F/V! I had the shrimp tempura and the spicy tuna crunch. Both tasted very fresh and delicious! My partner has the roaster chicken statler which was also yummy. The creamy garlic potatoes were to die for! Our server was very kind, personable, and hard working. To top it all off the sun was setting beautifully along the canal!
