I frequent here quite often. But this time I had one of the best servers ever unfortunately I don’t remember his name. I try different things every time I come. This visit I tried the sea bass as suggested by the server. It was so delicious, fish melted just like butter. Only flaw was I didn’t care for the black rice. The flatbreads are delicious, I get those every time!

Lunch time. The service here is excellent and the wait server we had worked with my friend and I to modify the items we selected to accommodate our food restrictions or likes. For example, I was able to switch out avocado for burrata. I do believe the menu is so specialized that you have to want more vegetarian or fish or specialty foods.

Mushroom caps were too hot and they should have crab meat not shrimp or creamed spinach. Asparagus was woody because too much tip was left on it. The salad only contained arugula so was too bitter too eat. Won't be going back

Wonderful place, warm and inviting with great ambiance, friendly staff and appetizing season-oriented menu. Definitely recommend specialty drinks, such as cucumber basil, artichoke and lemon hummus appetizer and anything from the dinner menu. And save room for one (or more) of those cute desserts!

I'd say a 2 1/2, really. The appetizer of pepperoni flatbread was good. I had lamb. My wife and son had scallops with risotto. The food was presented well, but was bland across the board. The dessert was good. Very nice atmosphere. For the price, there are better places around. We won't be back.

The filet was pretty tasty, however we were sat at a booth with my 14 month old... so we weren't given a high chair. This made it really difficult to eat so we had to take turns. There was also a problem with an order not being put in, but they quickly remedied it. I'm giving it 3 stars bc nobody should have to juggle their food and drinks against a mobile baby when there were tables and high chairs available.

I've been to Seasons 52 in Columbia a few times. For my latest visit I was taken by my coworkers to celebrate my upcoming retirement. We were seated after a couple of minutes. The service was very good. I liked my crabcake sandwich. The side salad was large and tasty. Everyone else liked their food, too.

Solid service, and solid food, consistent every single time. The short rib never disappoints, and every item we have tried on this menus has all been solid. The price justifies the product, the experience, and we always reserve a table ahead of time to ensure we got a spot. The key thing is the staff is already professional, courteous, personable, and we are always happy coming here.

Our meal was delicious but my husband was underwhelmed by the menu overall. Lots of interesting, fresh seasonal items to choose from but it was a little too fussy for him. Lovely ambiance, we dressed up a little for date night but plenty of people were more casual. They appeared to have an excellent wine list but we didn't try any. Very courteous staff.

Never disappoints! Large menu with very tasty food. Great service. Birthday dinner was started with 2 glasses of complimentary champagne. Ended with not just a single complimentary mini dessert, but SEVEN complimentary mini desserts! Remember to take advantage of always complimentary valet parking! It can be a bit noisy, but with the great food and service you won't notice the noise.

The restaurant atmosphere was really nice, comfortable seating and staff was very pleasant and polite. Service did not feel up to par as we had to call the servers twice to get water and refills. Food temperature and presentation was good. Parking is common with the mall so it can be busy.

Funny story about this place, went in for a small meal before a concert, ended up getting a 3 course meal with some amazing wine. My friends steak wasn't so much med rare as it was well done, the manager took care of it and set us up with a dessert as well. Hands down amazing place and great customer service.

Where should I begin. The service was so horrible. My wife, daughter and a family friend came for our anniversary dinner. Server was extremely rude, the way she asked for drinks, "what are you drinking". Zero courtesy, zero refills throughout dinner. When we were almost finished with dinner she came by our table and "you need to box these!" I wanted to ask her are you asking if we need to box the left over or are you telling us. She threw the check book on the table when we had asked for it. It took her a bit to even run the card. Overall food was okay, service was horrendous, just a horrible experience.

Made a reservation and was still staring at empty tables from the waiting area. Many other people were taken before us. It was just 100% pointless to make the reservation and they weren’t subtle about it. Roasted cauliflower was.. unprofessional, I don’t know how else to put it. It was just an entire head of cauliflower with a skimp ladle of cheese on top. Very bland, we actually specifically went here because it was something out of the box we don’t normally see on menus and were just veryyyyyy disappointed. Our waitress, Alex, was really amazing and impressive. All of our other food was VERY delicious! Especially the crab stuffed mushroom appetizer - amazing.

Fantastic restaurant. My daughter is a bartender here in the Columbia Mall location. Very busy place on a Friday night. I'm a fan of the franchise and have experienced consistently great food and service no matter the city I dine. I like Columbia being at the mall because you can shop before/after, however parking can be a nightmare if you don't valet. Our servers changed from Lindsey to Veronica and both were very pleasant, attentive ladies that gave great service and the meal and check was all timed perfectly.

I dined here last weekend with my girlfriend for lunch. We went because we were given a gift card. I was not expecting much from a chain, but WOW were we pleasantly surprised! Food was perfect for us - smaller portions than a typical American food restaurant (quality over quantity), lower in oil/fats than most restaurants, nice aesthetics, some natural/organic options and ingredients, diverse flavors, and original dishes. We stuck to appetizers and flatbreads, so I can't comment on the entrees. Prices are a little high, but for the quality, not bad. Desserts are amazing - unique and very reasonably priced in my opinion. Did not get drinks. Interior aesthetic is unobtrusive, but tasteful (not tacky like some chains). Can't speak to noise level as there were only a few other people there during our meal. Service was great. Our waiter (Bryan I think) was professional and courteous. He took time to answer our questions and checked in on us regularly. We were also given dessert on the house, which was a nice surprise. I'm not sure if that is typical for first time diners, but it was certainly a cherry on top. Overall, a great experience. We will be back. We are in our mid-20s and have lived in Columbia for about 3 years.

The restaurant was clean and well taken care of. I had heard of this place so much and wanted to try. Everything was extremely expensive and I thought the food was mediocre. I had the rolled lasagna. That was a new experience for me because it tasted nothing like lasagna. Perhaps others' pallets would find it tastier. I would not return again.

First time visiting Seasons 52 - met another couple for a business meeting over dinner. Nice upscale restaurant in Columbia Mall with reasonable prices. The menu is fresh/seasonal focused with lots of vegetables and meat options. It was a little 'haute-cuisine' for us, but there are some basic meat and potato choices as well. Red sangria was great. I had the bistro steak with marble (small) potatoes and roasted green beans - no complaints!

I love everything about this restaurant. It was my first time there. A very good friend of mine whom I have not seen in years took me there for some girl time. We had a waiter name Alex and he was fabulous, very knowledgeable about the menu, he was polite, friendly, considerate, professional and easy on the eyes. And to top it off the food was delicious! The atmosphere was very light and comfortable. I can go on and on about this restaurant because I was extremely please with customer service and the food. I def5will be going back and recommend to anyone who is looking for good food and good service.

Came here on recommendation from a colleague, the food was fantastic and service was great. My server was overly busy with the dinner rush but still managed to make me feel valued as a single unit eating alone (work travel). I had the sea scallops and the were cooked to perfection, and the hazelnut mousse dessert was heavenly. Will definitely come back on my next trips to the DC/Columbia area.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. My go-to dish is the pan-seared sea scallops, but the shrimp and grits are really good too. The atmosphere is classy without being pretentious. Even my kids love coming here and eating the flatbreads. Also, bonus: the drinks are super tasty. I recommend the cucumber basil smash. Very refreshing!

Just not that good. Seems to be trying to be fancy food. Presentation was nice but the flavors were overwhelmed with aioli and while nice looking the short rib sandwich was on crackers (supposedly flat bread) making it difficult and sloppy to eat. The lobster bisque was not bad but nothing worthy of praise either. ........ in one word, underwhelmed. Service was very good though!

Normally Seasons 52 is one of my absolute favorites, but not so much this evening. Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious and I did give them 4 stars. My wife took me here to celebrate my birthday. We were early for our reservation but happily seated right away. The problems started with the appetizer. I ordered crab & shrimp stuffed mushrooms. They were delicious, but the crab was missing in action. The golden beet salad with goat cheese was amazing though. My wife had the seared scallops for her entree and they were done perfectly. I had the Shrimp & Grits. It was very tasty, the sauce was fantastic and the shrimp were done perfectly. However, I had to order an additional side of grits because there wasn't very much in the dish itself. Once I added the extra grits the dish was perfect. Side note is that they are making a grear Old Fashioned with Bulleit bourbon that I thoroughly enjoyed. I'm chalking up the misfires to an off night for the chef. I'll still come back often.

terrible bartenders. awful bar service. prepare to be ignored, hard, for the entirely of your visit. had to wait 5+ mins to pay my check, considered walking out if they don’t want my money. and no, it wasn’t busy. i can count less than 10 bar patrons from where i am sitting and i’m being IGNORED by bar staff. and no, i am not being rude or in anyway undeserving of good service. just being straight up ignored.

Enjoyed a late lunch on a weekday. Byron served us and we had a perfectly timed meal from start to finish. The Winter menu was being served and it was chock full of appropriate seasonal dishes. This place markets their meals to have fresh, seasonal ingredients in their dishes and they delivered. The chicken flatbread small plate was simply brilliant. Pricing is very fair for the quality and portion size. Nice wine selection although I wish there was a selection of craft beer on tap (which would play well into the seasonal theme) however I was able to enjoy bottled offerings.

Seasons 52 is my "special occasions" restaurant. Birthdays, anniversaries, guest visits, celebrations. The atmosphere is cozy and sophisticated, the menu items change over the course of the year as items become in season (hence the name of the establishment), so there is always something new. The wait staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the food itself I found to always be cooked to perfection. The bar is well stocked, and the barkeeps know their specialty drinks as well as the more obscure ones. The real treat are the dessert offerings. They are smaller than many might expect, but they are varied, inexpensive, and fun to share. Happy hour will often have live entertainment that does not overwhelm the atmosphere like some places. Its a bit pricey, but not out of line given the quality and flavor. In fact, compared to many high end restaurants, the value is definitely there. Seasons 52 is likely to become your favorite destination.

I never give 5's, but this place deserves it. The food was a 4+, it was unique and well prepared. What made our meal a 5 was the service. Alex was what every server should be. She guided us through the menu with out being pushy. She also paid just enough attention to us with out bring intrusive. The only negative was that the coffee at the end of the meal was not hot. This is a great place for a date or business meal.

Went to this restaurant for office Christmas Party and food was terrible. Lasagna looked and tasted like rubber tire. You would be better off buying Lasagna microwavable from any grocery store. Salad served was very dry probably came from California fires.

I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here yet. They have a great selection of drinks although I usually lean towards their cocktail menu when I go. They also have rotating seasonal menus and I have yet to order something that I haven't liked. It is on the pricier end, but as long as you know that going in, I think the prices are very fair considering the quality you're getting.

Very nice restaurant, perfect time to go is doing the week. On the weekends seating is a little more harder. Am usually a bar person but the bar is first come first serve of course. Restaurant is more suited for casual or business clientele that are around 30+. A dinner for two people with drinks and a $10 tip will run you about $100-$120. I can assure you it will be worth it. So don't take no hood rat material here, only wifey material allowed at this restaurant.

Office Holiday Party. Appetizers, drinks and desserts. There were vegetarian and vegan options available. Also delicious desserts. I don't eat them, but everyone was raving over the crab balls. The flatbreads & vegetarian egg rolls were delicious as well.

Except the young lady server, the place was really strange. Rude host when you enter. Questionable people at the bar trying to pick up a fight. Spent 350 dollars on business dinner and drinks for three, food was ok but not a very educated type of crowd. Their location at Tyson's Corner in Virginia was much better. Will not visit this location again in Columbia, Maryland. Lot of police presence outside with flashing lights. You get the picture.

Last second date night becomes awesome date night. Knew it was a long shot but we're able to cozy up to the bar. What couldn't be more romantic than a piano player behind the bar. Everything we ordered was visually elegant and pleasing. The salads were beyond expectations. Service was impeccable!!!!

Food was trying to do too much...for example and Mule, pretty simple drink but in order to appear "swank" they added peach Reisling to the Mule along with the usual ingredients and ruined the drink. The Salmon had NO seasoning, the presentation of the Chilean Sea Bass was sloppy...way over priced and not worth it at all.
