Been to a few company events here. Usually a good experience, good crabs and food. Love their pasta salad. Nice view. Always looks forward to it.

Jeff Hamilton

Amazing oysters. Amazing food. My Bloody Mary cup evidently had a hole in it, but they kept filling it up for me. Sunday brunch ... Go. But get there early, because everyone else knows it's amazing, and there will be a line.

Dr. Jameson Lawrence, ESQ.

Excellent service- good food not great and the atmosphere was friendly

Laurie Clark

They have online ordering and my office is within walking distance. I just place my order and walk over and pick it up!! Its a beautiful location on the water with indoor and outdoor seating. Great staff and amazing crab cakes!!

Brad Bern

Great seafood spot right on the water, very busy so get there early, BUT, like we did, grab food from the To-Go window then have s picnic on the docs! No worries if you want to have a classic Orange Crush with your meal as you can simply walk up to the bar and grab one! oh, got a crab pretzel app, highly recommended

Dawn Weaver

Our staff loves Nick's, we come every year for crabs and it's one of our most popular events. We also enjoy the steamed shrimp, crab cakes and appetizers. The crabs are always heavy and delicious with just the right amount of spicy seasoning to keep things interesting. Excellent service and bar, it's worth the wait for a table on the deck!

David Beam

Great atmosphere, food and my new favorite drink....Orange Crush! Still works even though I’m from CLE.

Trish Ojie

Love the atmosphere. Clean lively settings. The staff was helpful and very polite. Its by the water front. Best Crab pretzels around. The food was great, no complaints even for a picky eater like me. I have found a new place to bring my family and friends, especially those out of State looking for a Maryland Crab house experience.

Jeff Ledda

My wife had the Cod and I had the Mahi Mahi sandwiches. Both were well prepared and generous portions of fresh fish. Server was friendly and efficient. He knew the menu and could answer questions

Christine Stoddard

Really liked Nick's! Will be going back!! It has two outside bars, and one inside bar, where you can get full menu and eat there. Which is what we did cause its crowded. its right on the water, which is great!! It was very hot so we ate inside, and because we ate there we didn't have to wait the 45 min wait time. Nick's is very popular because of location and their food is very good. Parking is a big lot but still tight because its crowded. Overall it was a very good experience!!

Jeremy Nutt

Good was very good. Crabcake was rediculously good. The grapefruit smash (or something like that) was amazing. Would definitely go again. The place has a bit of an odor but being a seafood place right on the water I'll accept that part.

Nick Fish House has a wonderful selection of delicious and flavorful food. The location is wonderful for a casual atmosphere with a great and unique setting. Due to its popularity, the wait time to be seated at Nick Fish House is typically longer than most local restaurants but their quality of food makes the wait worth it. I tried their seafood platter and Greek salad. I enjoyed every bite. It was a very busy night for the staff, but they came through. Well done!

The worst service in any restaurant we have ever visited .. we were on a road trip from South Carolina to New Jersey driving for almost 9 hours and we wanted to stop for a good meal of fish we were 4 adults including one senior and 4 kids including a 2 years old toddler.. we were informed that we have to wait for at least 45 minutes until a table is available for us they took our cell number to text when possible.. we accepted to wait then and it was a very hot sunny day.. kids were starving so we decided to get to go sandwiches while waiting and by chance once the sandwiches were ready they texted us.. we took our to go food bought from their restaurant and started to go inside and the host at the front desk pointed to a row of tables to sit on any we chose the first one and once we put our things and kids started to eat a waiter came and asked us that this table is for other clients waiting and we should sit on another table in the sun although nothing was mentioned about booked tables at all .. we requested to speak to the manager who keeps on telling that other clients are waiting outside same as we did by the way and we should leave the table because we have to go food ordered from their restaurant!!!!! I won’t mention the very rude way they were speaking to us and the food became very cold because we weren’t allowed to touch the food during the discussion and eventually no body apologized for this bad attitude and by the way the same table they wanted us to leave remained empty for 30 minutes after we left..

Love sitting outside eating crabs. Great vibe. Gets packed so come early. Fresh seafood

Maia Rodriguez

What a great find. Went here for the husband's birthday. Great seafood and what a view! There is overflow parking as people have mentioned earlier, with a brief walk to the front door. Minimal wait time on a Monday evening when we went, but I can see how this place could get busy. Crab cakes were delicious. So was the shrimp. Highly recommend!

bass fish

Wonderful experience. Amazing food. Highly recommend.

Colin Carmello

Service was slow, but the food was very good, and rather reasonably priced. Perhaps service is better other times?

Miss Tiny

Loved it. First time in Baltimore, first time at Nick's. From the parking, to the seating, to the service and the prices; it was spot on incredible. I highly recommend this place. It's a must try and I definitely will keep this place in mind everytime I visit. ❤

Chelsey Keys

So I wanted to try a variety of foods so that I could give an accurate account of the quality of food. So pictured you will see the Crab cakes (including minis) fries, fried green tomatoes topped with lump crab meat and the spinach. I also tried their mussels (not pictured) in white wine sauce. Everything I tried was Amazing. Food was not overly seasoned but still very tasty. Great atmosphere, wonderful place to get out for a few hours, have some drinks and spend some time on the water. Live music was very Nice! It could almost be a decent party area. Try this place you will not be disappointed. Make sure when you go, you have time to wait because this place is busy! You can easily drink while you wait, there are bars everywhere! Clean bathroom (which is a plus for me) Nice Staff, very attentive and helpful. Overall great experience. BUT..... the crab prices are ridiculous I WOULD NEVER BUY CRABS, wayyyy too Expensive. AND OF COURSE IT’s SAD TO SEE THE POLLUTION IN THE WATER. Other then that I’m a happy, loyal customer!

Dmytro Kovalevych

Amazing fresh food And fish especially! Loved it! Right place to go! Good service. Rarely when I’m so excited about the place.

Victor Ferreira

Nick’s Fish House is located in the Port Covington Area of Baltimore. River views & live music on Friday and Saturday. Louisiana XL Crabs (6 - 61/2") were all heavy with good flavor at $140.00 a dozen

Jean Brown

Fun atmosphere (indoor and out), great food and right next to cruise ship port - so a very convenient location!

Galacia Barton

My friends and I swung through over lunch, and had ordered online so we could get to the airport faster. The staff let us dig in bar-side, which was awesome. Eating seafood on the bay was great, and the food was fantastically fresh and delicious.

Minh Ngoc Nguyen

Went here for Mother's day dindin with hubs & baby. Environment was casual, right by the bridge and docks. They had live music with indoors and covered outdoors seating. Food and prices were decent. Friendly staff. A very busy establishment so expect a wait.

Denita Latham

Visit it for the first time with a friend loved it will go again. great place to go and unwind.

Edward Kingsland

Amazing crab cake! Large jumbo lumps. Very little filler. Highly recommend if you're looking for an authentic Maryland crab cake (broiled). Beware long wait times to get seated!

Patrick Porter

A great "crabs and shrimp" on the porch type of place with friends. Good fish and chips too!

Kristen Whitney

Loved the views, food and staff. The band was also super fun! Will be back for sure!

Jenny Smith

Fantastic food! Cool environment with the most friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Jackie Peterson

OMGGGGG! This place is amazing! I enjoyed everything about it! The food...DELISH! The atmosphere...Outstanding! This gets TWO SNAPS IN A CIRCLE- FIVE STAR RATING!

Bill Godshalk

WONDERFUL.....another great find in the Inner Harbor area. Terrific oysters, shrimp and crab. Service was very good and attentive.

bradley hansen

Today was the first time I've been to Nick's. It was a great experience. The crabs were good the starters were great. The orange crushes were first rate. I would say we had the best server (Savanah). She was attentive and very patient. We are definitely going back again

Theo Hunter

Great Food. Right along the water. Good atmosphere.

Thierry Coquard

Lovely place + great food ! Having the live band along with the waterfront venue, great food, and great customer service made for a really wonderful experience. Definitely worth a visit when in Baltimore. The crab pretzel is delicious as well as the crab cake, the crab dip... All is delicious ! A great moment in a great place ! I'd love to have the same place in France...

Yikai Xu

Great experience and great crabs. Seems a bit overpriced though

John Rau

They wouldn't accept reservations for 20 person party. We arrived @3pm after 1-1/2 hours we were seated. At first they gave us only 2 tables (which seat 6 or 7) we had to ask for manager to get it straightened out. Once we were seated, the service and food was excellent. Live bands were good also. We were willing to place deposit on reservation. We spent @ $1600 - 1800, but the wait and confusion about seating will cause us to go elsewhere for birthday dinners and other special occasions.

Trey Shull

Lobster crab roll was great. Nice selection of beer and drinks

Julie Stepp

Great location! Casual atmosphere. Since we were there in March we couldn’t enjoy the outdoors but indoors was still fun. Seated quickly and service was friendly and timely. Food was large portions, lots of selection and tasty.

Scott Stem

The food, the service and the view is always wonderful. The gentleman that helped us was so nice. The young generation at the stand greeting guests could use some lessons in customer service and how to speak to someone more than twice his age.

Sonny coughlin

food was really good. service was sub par. waited 15 mins for a warm beer. I kept getting dripped on by the air conditioned duct work. it was like 100° out so at least it worked.

Betty McGowan

Good food in a nice atmosphere. Nice River view.

Tara Playfair

Great spot but get there early... it gets pretty crowded. Great seafood and it’s right on the water so try to get a spot that you have a great view. Service can take a while once the crowd is on but it’s a great vibe and fun spot with your friends in the summer.

anthony s

Has the Seafood you want. Plenty of indoor seating , and a huge outdoor area right on the water. ordered to start the mussels in chipotle lime sauce. Sauce was delicious and flavorful. ordered 12 medium crabs with butter and vinegar dipping sauce. Mouth watering good. The atmosphere is fun and the staff is extremely nice and attentive.

Jennifer Wilson

On the water with good food and great bartenders. Try one of the outdoor bars.

Sharon Martin

Loved the place. Fun atmosphere. Delicious food. Can't wait to go back!

Mark Wisser

Good place with slow service. Can get very crowded during the weekends. Main courses are usually on point but the sides can be mediocre. Amazing location with views.

MaxE Rosen

We got takeout when we stopped in on a drive along the east coast. We quickly determined that takeout would be much quicker than dining in as it was busy. We got the crabcake sandwich which was tasty as the crab fell apart in your mouth. The steak fries with it were also great with old bay seasoning and a tasty sauce. The service was also quick as we got our food within 10 minutes. All in all, it was a good experience.

Todd Rearick

Great atmosphere and food. We had to wait for a table, but we just sat at the bar for a bit first. Bartender was very busy, but very friendly. We sat outside. There was a very good live band playing. We'll definitely go again next time we are driving through town.

Amy Gonzales

The BEST food and service in Baltimore! Absolutely delicious food and lots of gluten free options. No deprivation for celiac people. The flavors were on point, the view is beautiful and it's safe to be outside (something we discover is a thing in this town).

Renee Caton

Our 1st time there. This place was packed on a Wednesday. We were able to get in and sit at the bar. We were greeted right away and asked what drink we wanted. I had the seafood Cobb salad (delicious

Robert Valentin

Restaurant is on the water, great fun atmosphere and the food was very good for everyone at the table of 7. Only one person in our party had to wait a long time for her food, it came out when most of the rest of us were 3/4 done with our meals. I will definitely go back.

Terri Campbell

Delicious, fresh and tasty. Crabcake with shaved brussels sprouts, cherries, apples and nuts a winner. On the water, and lovely.

Chris Schrieber

I invited my great Uncle Mr. "P" to the well known seafood restaurant, Nick's Fish House for his 72nd belated birthday. I picked Mr. "P" up at the park and ride at 6pm and headed down interstate 83 Southbound to our anticipated destination. Upon entering the parking lot, I could appreciate the aroma of freshly steamed crabs depolarizing the olfactory nerve of Mr. "P". Upon entering the establishment there was a fixed grin of approval on my 72 year old friend. As he straightened his kyphotic posture and shuffled to his birthday table awaiting him, Mr. "P" and I were full of wonder if crabs were still available. Our remarkable server Kerry informed us only medium and small crabs are available for the rest of the night. Mr. "P" was so nervous to quickly voice his birthday order of medium crabs before they were sold out, that one could notice his dentures protruding from his oral cavity all the way from the bridge room. Upon his success of ordering some birthday mediums, Mr. "P" turned his eyes toward the drink menu. He proclaimed " I would like an unsweetened ice tea with a birthday cherry". Kerry couldn't help but smile after hearing this request. I couldn't help but laugh when the Ice tea was served with two neon red cherries floating in his birthday tea. Kerry brought out our piping hot medium crabs, melted butter, vinegar, blue plastic knives and a pile of white napkins. Of course, I let Mr. "P" pick the first crab. You can tell by the minimum conversation during the crab picking that Mr. "P" was in his element. We quickly filled up the empty plastic bucket with shells, and his 72nd belated birthday was coming to fruition. Overall, the seafood was spectacular at Nick's Fish House; as was the service. I look forward to enjoying a 73rd birthday dinner with Mr. "P" next year at Nick's Fish House.

Toni Zegles

Was there for company gathering! Was nice & festive atmosphere! Food was good too!

Patty H. W.

Good food, hostess was a bit annoyed at having to help us. Kelly was a great waitress. For boaters, follow channel towards drawbridge, stay in bridge channel until even with end of marina docs then turn in hard right, stay in meter or right of center, saw 7 ft at low tide up to end of pier A.

Giji Dennard

Definitely would come back if I were in the Baltimore area...would not make a special trip though like I would have for the old Chart House. Overall food was good, but not great. Definitely large portions- taking about 1/3 of my Greek salad home. Didn't particularly care for the dressing offerings. The charcoal shrimp add-on was excellent. The crab balls were good, maybe even very good, but not great--the same for the deck fries...especially dipped in tartar sauce. The raspberry tea was good, but pricey for the plastic cup size. To spend this kind of money, I want great, memorable food AND service. My server went on break or something during the service cycle (and charged my card to the wrong check, but caught it before I did). It definitely helped that the people delivering the food from the kitchen were available and did well in pinch-hitting for the missing server.

Christine Todd

Kind of out of the way on a dark street in an industrial area near the waterfront, but well worth the trip. We started out sharing the Crab Pretzel as an appetizer. Large, filling and delicious. I had the Maryland Mule to drink, made with Sagamore straight rye whiskey. As a side note, I wanted to sample it as we were doing the distillery tour the next day. I highly recommend it. We both had the fried oyster dinner, a generous platter served with coleslaw and Chesapeake fries, which are seasoned similarly to and Old bay seasoning. The place is popular and gets packed, but we were easily seated without reservations. In warmer months there is outdoor seating and a take out area. One of the more popular restaurants in Baltimore, and reasonably priced, I highly recommend the trip here if you are in the area.

Robert Mccullar

Great ambiance, good food and nice music out on the patio on Friday nights.

harolyn mcgee

I have dealt with Nick's for years and this was the 3rd time in a row that I received shoddy service via pick up. I ordered the steamed shrimp with onions and checked the order when I got there. No onions. I sent the server back inside to correct the order and when she returned, I was told that it was correct. When I got back to work with the food, there was not one single onion in the box!!! I called back only to be told that "I should bring it back". What happened to the cook saying that it was corrected? Why should I have to bear the expense and inconvenience to correct their mistake that they say had been corrected? For a reputable long time business like this to start short serving customers in this way in disgusting. Needless to say, if ever I should return, I will make them open each container and sign off on it. Disgusted!!!!!

Jon W. Mays

A great marinaside restaurant with awesome food great drinks and an awesome summer atmosphere. And if your guy there with a date don't let your eyes wander too much because the sooner he's pretty awesome! LOL!

D Bell

Delicious seafood, great view and an awesome vibe the band playing this evening was very good especially the guitarist!

Felipe Massa

Fun outdoor atmosphere on the water with fresh seafood. A great place to take someone from out of town or to go to with friends for happy hour. Try Neva's Cheesy Potato side!

Josh Schwartz

Great place for seafood! Service is great, the food is fantastic, the beer is pretty cheap, and it's really easy to get to with plenty of parking. The fish and chips is probably the best I've had. It's a great place to take some friends and hang out on the deck and enjoy the food, drinks, scenery, and music on the weekends. Check their website for the events schedule.

Henry Scott

I have driven past this place for over 40 years driving over Hanover Street Bridge my first visit today great place and live entertainment I would give it five stars but my order was all wrong I order the broiled seafood platter it came fried the second order came to me with tilapia look like sardines popcorn shrimp and scallops

Dan Fouts

My friend from Colorado suggested eating there and I have never been there myself. We were not disappointed at all. The atmosphere, live music, food, and service was excellent!

Simon Mckenzie

This place was very good! I highly suggest that you get here early cause it gets packed QUICK! The food was amazing though. Coming from an "Out-of-towner" I highly recommend this place.

Laura Parrish

The steamed crabs were wonderful and meaty. Great selection of oysters. The crab pretzel is a must have with crab sandwiched in the middle and crab dip on top. Nice atmosphere! We sat on the second-floor deck and enjoyed the sunset.

Ashton Menefee

The service here is amazing, everyone was so helpful and friendly, outstanding. Food was great, had the calamari, fries, turkey sandwich, fish sandwich, and chicken Caesar salad, all really good. We were there on a beautiful Saturday at 12:30 and got a table in the water right away. It was filling up but no line when we left. There was live music and lots of parking. Again, the service was awesome, highly recommend trying Nick’s, we’ll be back to try the steamed crabs.

James Smith

Great Seafood. Unbelievable Blue Claw Crab. Best seafood restaurant I have ever been.

Serena Pratt

Really worth the price. Great food and great service! We loved everything ❤️

karlton .

Happy Hour $7 appetizers are amazing! Delicious shrimp, crab cakes, fish tacos ect. Go and get your fill. The main menu is filled with food to die for and you just came beat the view. Get the crabs.

DAWN NEAL

Great service, crabs were nice and meaty great size. Beautiful scenery right by the water. Really nice set up for family or on a nice date.

Juliette G

We got so many things just to try as much as we could. So first as an app we got the wings that were very good, tender inside but nice and crunchy on the outside. My husband ordered the oysters on the half shell....he was in heaven! Fish and chips was fresh and didn't have a crazy amount of batter, nice big chucks of fish. We will for sure be back to try more!

Isha Mathis

Crabs galore! Fried green tomatoes were good.

chitalu nakazwe

Excellent great lively atmosphere which went well with great company . The food was delicious and fresh

Vickie Fortney

This place us awesome! Service was exceptional and the food was fabulous. Will return for sure.

Douglas Mayton

Good crabs. Enjoyed the crab stuffed pretzel. Expect to pay for the wonderful food and drink. There were five of us. With drinks, appetizers, crabs and dessert, the bill came to $315.

Jeanette Parker

Fun place, nice staff. Their crab pretzels are more like crab pretzel sandwiches. Great for sharing. Lunch is nice and open without crowds. Dinner has people of all ages who are looking for a fun atmosphere. Family friendly but also a great place to mingle. They also have overflow parking across the street with a path under the bridge so you don't have to cross the road.

Kennith Bailey

First, it is a beautiful location. Second, the service was exceptional. The food is amazing. Will recommend to all my people.

Sean Powell

Service was great, food was not great. Atmosphere is always awesome

Jock McClees

Always fun and the food is good. I can't remember what I had since it was a month ago but I do remember it being delicious. Don't get there too late or you will probably have a long wait because the place is always hopping.

RHONDA FRAMM

The catering staff and Lacey Emala’s handling of our large birthday celebration made the perfect party on the waterfront , Crab cakes, omelette bar with crab meat, bloody Mary’s, seafood gluten free pasta salad, crudités and Greek Salad delighted our guests. Staff couldn’t have been more attentive even for our large boisterous crowd . Will definitely consider them for the future

Jamie Stokes

Food was incredible. Appetizers were delicious. Drinks were great....I really cant say anything bad. I even had a 45 min wait to be seated and had to wait in line for the bar. But, it was well worth it. The waitress megan was great.....I'll definite. Go again!

Lance White

Fun place lots of food choices...decent draft beer selections.

steve kiefer

Very good. Little pricey but I think worth it. Food was good multiple times I've been there.

Alexis Clavizzao

SERIOUSLY SO FREAKING DELICIOUS!!! I HAD TO FORCE MYSELF NOT TO EAT IT ALL AT THE RESTAURANT SO THAT I'D THANK MYSELF FOR LEFTOVERS THE NEXT DAY!! 20/5 STARS!!!

Lori Langtry

Seafood is spectacular. Our party of 15 ordered everything from crab cakes to shrimp & grits ... all raved and no complaints. Ambiance may or may not be your thing...it's a millenials crowd, very noisy. Parking sucks...they turned us,away to a remote lot with shuttle we never saw, our drivers dropped passengers and walked instead. NP but upon arriving at the restaurant's lot noticed many empty parking spots. Service inside was friendly and efficient but on a Sat night it was very slow (seated at 7pm, food served at 8:15)

Jasmine Haynes

This place is popping on a Saturday night with lots of folks and live music!! The food & service from the bar area was great!! Adding this to the list of fave summer eating spots!

Charlotte Armstrong

Fun restaurant with great views. Can accommodate anything from watching games on TV or overlooking the water on the patio. Server was great. She took the time to show us how to eat our crabs. Great time! Great food. I would highly recommend. March 2019, we had brunch/lunch at Nick’s Fish House in Baltimore. Everything was fresh and delicious! We started with the enormous pretzel with crabmeat and cheese: most fabulous! I had an organic salad with a crab cake. The crab cake was all lump crab.

Ken Mosby

Really nice good service. Food came out fast for my party of eight.

Jenna Scalia

Had the best tasting mussels I ever had here. The food is amazing. I'm guessing the food is so good, that it explains the large crowds it can receive.

Beza Dejene

Great location with a great view by the water! The food was good and they also have many varieties. It tends to be busy but it is worth it. They have indoor and outdoor space and free parking on site!

John Overchuk

Food and views are great. I recommend the broiled crab cakes.

Dawson Sisk

My husband and I visited for the first time before departing for cruise. Had an unfortunate experience where his food came out 20 min before my steamed platter. Manager inquired of our dinner and jumped in with all experience and professionalism to make our first experience pleasurable. We were looking for establishments to take our cruise buddies back to after cruise. Thanks to Nick we’ll be back later this week!

Linda H

Great restaurant. When we arrived on Saturday we were told 1hr 45 min wait....thankfully we were seated (inside) sooner than that but be prepared to wait! The food was very tasty and appropriately priced. Service was friendly. Two out of the four of us found it hot inside. They have ceiling fans, but it was extremely hot outside and hot inside as well. I will add photos of the poached pear and feta salad with mahi and the seafood platter.

Sam Chen

Amazing food. We waited an hour due to some issues in the kitchen earlier that day and everything was backed up. Despite the wait, the food was well worth it. A great value! Live music. Oh we were able to order some oyster by the bar while we waited.

Donna Ward

The food was really good and the prices weren't bad. The parking lot was full and I had to park on an overflow lot about 2 blocks away. They had a golf cart to transport customers to the door and back. That was really nice.

Jeff Carlson

It's hard to find any fault with Nick's. For starters, the venue is conveniently right off of i-95 and just outside the city, but it's on a waterfront property, quite literally. When you're on the outside deck, you're right on the water. They have a spacious interior dining area and bar as well, but outside is where it's at. Outside there is a stage and a nice long bar, along with a smaller bar and picnic tables for eating hard crabs. There's a good selection of craft beers on tap, and the menu is quite large, with everything from appetizers to entrees. You can get all kinds of seafood there as well as a great burger and very yummy salads, but I don't think they offer a steak. Parking is pretty good and there are lots of TVs for watching your favorite sports team. Finally, I'll comment that every one of the staff I've met has been friendly, laid-back, and funny. Everyone seems to love working there, even when it's really crowded. if you like specials, they have a good happy hour and you can get buckets of beer for a really good prices. Make sure you visit Nick's before it gets cold! it's fun in the winter but it's 100 times more fun when it's nice out!

Michelle K

Enjoyed a beautiful evening on the deck with fresh, large blue crabs and a cold drink! Our waiter was informative and insightful- learned some tips on opening blue crab and i consider myself a veteran. One crab was a bit overcooked but overall, atmosphere & experience was perfect! Wish i grabbed a t-shirt before the shop closed though! Definitely worth a stop.

Sinnamin Brown

I went here after volunteering with my coworkers. The location is nice. Overall, the menu has a lot of well priced seafood and drink options. I had the fish sandwich and the Malibu bucket. Both were delish. I'm not sure why I've been passing it all of these years but I'm definitely coming back.

Gabrielle

Love this place! Be prepared to wait during the weekends since they don't take reservations but it's worth it. The food and view are great.

Diane Dandeneau

They were highly rated in the community, however, their system as far as wait-list was very terrible. When walking up, we were told that they were no longer taking wait-list reservations and that the high tops and bar was first come first serve. There were people stalking the bar and high tables, eager for someone to move which made the experience uncomfortable. I would recommend at some point during the day, to have patrons to be on the wait list for the high tops and bar and when the list is full, to tell people that it is full and not build hopes of patrons waiting 2-4 hours of stalking tables not guarantee being served.

William Lieberman

Outstanding seafood restaurant in southern Baltimore. Right off Hanover St. Inside and outside seating. Right on the water. Great selection of seafood items (the crab grilled cheese was especially good). Hard shell crabs available. Full bar with many local options. Great wait staff. Own parking area. Highly recommended.

Rex D

It's a good lump crab cake. The fries were also nice, which is something I wouldn't normally point out. The service was swifter than I expected, considering I walked up during a shift change and ordered takeout. I'll have to stop in on my next trip to the area and try a few more menu items.

Patrick Monahan

Great crabs was reason for visit. Heavy, hot and spiced right. When we arrived we were told 90 minutes wait! We sat down outside in the little space available for waiting in hot sun. Started calling other crab places and after 20 minutes a table was available!!! Lots of customers went elsewhere because of predicted wait time. When we sat in the loft there were many empty tables! Owners were loosing customers because of failure to seat customers. Our table was great, view fantastic, service fast and crabs were delicious.

Carson Momplaisir

This place is amazing. I ordered the $5 Mac and cheese, and it was to die for. The fries that came with it were even more amazing. The place was so packed that we had to park in the garage across the street, and even though the restaurant was overflowing with people, the staff was still able to come to us regularly, and help us with whatever we needed.

Jeni Healy

Beautiful place on the water. Great food! the Oysters on a half shell Chesapeake style was delicious. I ordered the Ahi tuna salad sandwich (amazing)! Nicole was our server - she was attentive, gracious and so helpful!

Taylor Taylor

Good food. Always crowded. Popular place.

kimber goodwin

Nick's is great. Server was very pleasant. Food came out in a reasonable time. Everything tasted good.

Marsha Bass

Excellent seafood and location is an out of the way place right on the pier. Great scenery. Service was supreme.

Rachel Andrex

Fantastic feast. Great spot to celebrate a birthday with a seafood fan. Plenty of options for all. So good.

Janet Taylor

We're from Kansas City. Our experience at Nick's Fish House was amazing! The food was incredible and our server Walter made sure that our dishes were fantastic and they were. Highly recommend. THANK YOU WALT

Karen Smith

Normally I enjoy coming here...tonight I got to encounter the snotty hostess that couldnt be bothered to turn her head and see if her eyes could spot a vacant high top..instead she got an attitude and told me she wasnt allowed to look that way. If I didnt have a group of people on their way to come to this place, I would have left. What a disappointment to be met with such a horrid young lady when you're out to try and enjoy yourself..

Frank Cleveland

great place for fresh seafood great drinks in a casual setting. good seafood selections and great burger. really good deck for happy hours drinks and a nice waterview

Greg Wilkins

Other than people walking in an being seated after we arrived 'the server gave the impression she was trying to get rid of us quickly 2 out 10 on her waitress skills " Molly"

Would be nice to get a phone call back from a manager in a timely manner regarding the random charge that appeared on my card after i had already and paid and left. How do you charge almost an additional $100 on a customers card when they have settled up and left? Gave this place a second, third, and fourth chance after this happened numerous times in the past. Only would go for music after that. Do not plan on returning after this time.

Best Crab Cakes in Baltimore. Please don’t let this get out, because there will be less for me. And I’m not going to tell you it has a great view with lots of windows. And that the staff is there to take care of you. Ok - so go there with your family and prove me wrong.

I love this place! Fun place on the water, lots of open space on the deck. Like Jetty Bar on Kent Island or Alabama Jacks in the Keys. Great view, great service (three bars!), great food. Had fish tacos - yum - while friends tried fries, shrimp, fish&chips, mussels off the happy hour menu. Everyone enjoyed.

Michael Knott

Two of our lunch orders came cold. We were some of the first ones in the restaurant, but the food was seemingly not prepared fresh. It was better after being sent back.

Huong Nguyen

Food is decent. I suggest AC or fan on the upper deck area. It was very hot up there with lots of people on the weekends.

Rocket Faith

Good food. Did not have large size crabs. Attentive waitress. Free accessible parking with shuttle. Soulful atmosphere. It was a beautiful breezy day to eat outside on the deck.

Had a really good time here, it was an awesome atmosphere, and a setup unmatched in Baltimore. The great live music and gorgeous view of the harbor were really enjoyable, I just wish they played more Jimmy Buffet

Judy Kraus

Celebrated a birthday with friends and had a great time. Service was great, food was excellent, and a very friendly atmosphere.

Darnell Davis

Food was good, not great. Nice for a quick lunch but not the right spot for a gourmet dish.

Svetlana Peshkoff

A secluded gem...Jimmy Buffet would love it...great service, great music, and feels like you'll always have a friendly good time!

Jennifer Smith

Ordered the cream crab soup and yellow fin tuna salad over the english muffins. Super yummy. Great weather outside by the water. Wonderful atmosphere and service with smiles!

Andre Thomas

Nicks atmosphere is great! Located on the water at a marina! Food was great! A must see place for your out of town quest. #BaltimoreImpress

It was our first time visiting Nick’s Fish House located near Baltimore, MD. We arrived around 1140am and so glad we did as the place was packed by the time we left. The waiter seated us on the upper deck outside where we could see the water and boats. We started with three fried green tomatoes topped with crab which was delicious. My spouse had the fried oysters with Chesapeake fries and coleslaw. I had the shrimp platter with fries and coleslaw. What made the meal taste good was the fact that the batter on the oysters and shrimp was very light. You actually got to taste the excellent seafood. We are definitely going to return in the future and try some other dishes. They do a Saturday and Sunday brunch from 11am-3pm. Very good service and the atmosphere was pleasant. Plenty of free parking right behind the restaurant. Treat yourself to a good meal at Nick’s!

Loved it! Sitting outside by the pier was really nice. Great breeze. Food was amazing. Excellent service. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Baltimore!

Alan Glauser

Everything was great! The oysters were fresh and the crabcakes were all lump, broiled to perfection. Wait staff were very attentive.

Alexander Schulmeister

Best crab cakes I've ever had. My wife's shrimp with grits and chorizo was also excellent. I'll come back the next time I'm in the area.

Kim Graves

Get the fried seafood platter! They give you plenty of food, fried fish, shrimp & very flavorful scallops and its delicious. My husband and I were lucky enough to get a 2 seater looking right out on the water on an absolutely beautiful day. Nice music and to top it off Cal Ripken was there.

Christine Bivens

Very nice, casual place to visit and good crabcakes. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Reserving 5-star rating for next visit.

Allen Dewberry, Jr.

Food was solid but it needs a few better drink specials.

Irwin Gafen

Tried to go here twice. The first time before 8pm on Saturday they wouldn't even take anymore names. For a place that doesn't take reservations and is out of the way for über this is ridiculous. So the next day we arrived at 1130am. They were out of crabs. Are you kidding me? So we went to a different crab joint and had a wonderful time. As a recently frequent visitor to Baltimore you can be sure I won't be back here soon if they don't change their ways

Chris Gross

good food and great atmosphere by the water and right by Sagamore Distillery. Great place that seems to always be hopping and happening ...

Our first time, visiting. The crabs where the bomb and so was everything else we eat. Sat in the rear bar area. Nicki who waited on us, is really a bartender. Made us feel like we were only guess. She was spectacular. I feel like owe her more. So the next time your out taking a chance on where to go. Stop by this place. I forgot the band and my new friends. They all had me laughing and dancing the night away. You have to try this place.

Kate Tallent

Great place. Food is delicious, service outstanding and the location can't be beat. Scenic. Chesapeake crab rolls are fantastic as is the calamari. Great place to meet up with a friend or a large group.

Sarah P

Awesome place to hang out with water views. Grapefruit crushes are pretty good here and they serve crabs in traditional Maryland style. Great place to take visitors from out of town. Plan to wait for a while to get a table if you're visiting during the peak season.

Nikita Bayliffe

We went here for our 14 year anniversary and it was the perfect date night. It is definitely a great place for any occasion. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, Shrimp and Grits and Stuffed shrimp and all three were delicious. The service was fast and friendly. There was a slight mishap with our order, my fault really but they went above and beyond to fix it. We will be going back soon!

Marie Ortega-Nanos

I will give the food 4.5 and the service 5. The clams were so-so. The best sauce for the clams was the wine sauce. The other 2( diablo and chipotle based) were heavy and not exciting. The oysters were fresh. The crabs were excellent - juicy and lots of meat. We will definitely come back.

Nicholas Reider

Great Shrimp & Crabs. Great Bay View. And Great Live Music by The Players Band!!

Jose Alvarez

Great service, delicious crabs, good drinks, clean bathrooms, and the place was packed! Only negative was that we called specifically to see about availability of fried clams. We were told on the phone that they have awesome fried clams that are first come first serve. We asked if it was strips or the whole clam and she said the whole thing. She said they sell out fast so we picked up my wife from the train station and hurried to Nicks just to be told that fried clams are not on the menu at all. Asked if it was possible to get them made but it was not. Confusing and slightly irritating since we chose Nicks out of all other options specifically to get those. I must say though, everything we ordered was top notch and we are really happy we made the decision to come. Server was on point and had a great sense of humor. We will be back.Thank you, Nicks!

Bruce Culbreath

Great fish tacos. Good views and the service was up to par too.

Robert Wray

Great place to sit. Fast service. Often live music. Food has more recently become industrialized as opposed to crafted / created. But still passes. 5 star location. 3.5 stars on food.

Nicholas Yates

I love this place. They had delicious food and great selection of food. Their service was great and bartenders were friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect and view of this place was awesome.

Dave Conord

Crabs were great, service was good. Reservation and seating system is really bad - waiting for an hour to be seated while looking at tons of empty tables was frustrating.

Latrese Brown

Food was VERY good. The shrimp and grits are better than most places I've tried. Waiter was EXTREMELY efficient and patient

Diane Cimino

I would've given 5 but my drink (Mai tai (nothing but cranberry juice) and (Bahama breeze, weak) but our dinner was fantastic! I had crabcakes and steam vegetables.. I love it! Spouse had seafood platter which was excellent! We enjoyed indoor area with view of the water. Definitely will come back!

Brad Schlegel

Excellent food for a reasonable price. Our server was very attentive.

kathleen nartker

Sat outside in bar area to a nice view. Daughter enjoyed her crab pretzel. Hubby liked his fish sandwich. Outside tables were kind of short. Inside restrooms cleaner than those outside.

Warren Jones

It's waterfront, which is nice. It has these piers with benches you can go out and sit on. This is literally on the water. The menu is varied. I had the shrimp and grits. It was easily the top-two of that dish I've had in the region. It's just a notch behind the best I've tasted in New Orleans. I also had crabs. Those were large and meaty. I also had a couple of the Crushes. The Sagamore Crush was the best. I'll be back.

Brian Seymour

The steamed crabs were amazing as well as the bang bang shrimp. The atmosphere is fun and casual.

Joe Rivest

Nick's was the best! And our Becky was made it the highlight of our trip to Baltimore. W ordered the Blue Point oysters and hard shell crab. Amazing!

allymc .

Sooooo good! Came from out of town (NC) AND the food definitely didn't disappoint! It was affordable, fresh, and plenty of food! The oysters are fresh! And I watched them get schuked endlessly by staff. Make sure you get the crab dip. I also suggest the crab cake dinner, it's amazing! And on top of everything else, the staff is utterly polite, calm, and hospitable. Good Vibes this place. I highly recommend.

Quincy Israel

Liked the tasty, filling seafood pasta that I had even though it also came with a lot of bread... very hood buttery, seasoned slices though). What I was disappointed with was the extremely tiny charbroiled oysters. I've had elsewhere and they weren't as shrunken. They did have a nice flavor. Best to get their happy hour menu or pastas.

Sheilay Chestnut

1st time experience and our waitress was thee best, sweet, professional and well mannered. Her name is KC.....not sure how it is spelled. Love it and coming back. Thanks

Alison Krediet

Great food and view. Crabs were hot and meaty. Service was great. Try the Vienna lager.
