Need to stay on Baltimore for about a month and Maisy's was around the corner from where I was staying. The staff is extremely friendly and the food was fantastic. I ate there many time and tried many of their dishes, my favorite was the fish tacos.

I was SO excited to come here after reading the reviews .... and was extremely disappointed. There is NO customer service, the food is overpriced, the food was bland and just 'okay'- nothing to write home about, and there is no parking ANYWHERE. I wish I'd gone for fast food rather than driven and wasted the gas. I do not recommend going here.

The restuarant is very nice, but tiny. When we arrived there were only 2 couples seated with many open tables. We were seated by ourselfs, a few other people arrived and the waitress seated those people right next to us. The tables were VERY SMALL and I had to place my coat on my lap as you share a bench with other people that are about 1 foot away. I ended up having a severe panic attack & we had to leave before placing our order. However, the waitress was very understanding as she knew what was going on with me without me saying a word and helped get me out of there fast.

Keep walking. Got the Chicken and waffles, the chicken was was over cooked and waffles were as well. My wife had the crab cakes which was good. Place is overpriced for quality of food. Also, a family with two dogs came in to eat. I'm an animal lover however not at a restaurant not healthy or wanted. I'm surprised management allow this.

Good prices, good food, good service. I had the crab cake which was a good balance of lump meat and filler. It tasted good and had a side of potatoes and spinach. I also enjoyed their Manhattan. I would recommend and go back.

Everyone in my party seemed to enjoy their lunch. It's possible I just ordered the wrong thing, but the black bean spring rolls were very bland and oily. Food aside, trays for used dishes are located next to the restroom in the back of the restaurant. While I was waiting for the restroom, a server placed a dish on the tray, sending a swarm of fruit flies into the air. This is inside the restaurant; our table was located less than 15 feet away....

My boyfriend and I were visiting Baltimore for the weekend and we stopped at Maisy's for dinner. Our server was wonderful and we got our food and drinks fast. All of the food was very good, we had the Mac&cheese and margarita pizza. In addition to the great food, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It was the perfect place for us to have a late night dinner. Highly recommend to anyone.

So glad I stumbled upon Maisy's but I do have mixed reviews. We got there around 1:30 & were quickly seated. We were greeted by a sweet waitress and got our orders in quick. I definitely recommend the black bean burger. It was my first time having one and omg!! I'm hooked. Paired with the most amazing sweet potato fries dusted with sugar on top? I did have to send it back the first time because I found a hair. They were apologetic and it didn't take too long for a fresh plate to come out. Our waitress forgot to bring my coworker her drink & the bartender ended up helping us out for a majority of our stay. Not sure if the waitress was knew or they were having staffing issues. All in all, I would go back. We all really enjoyed the food. Prices aren't bad at all either.

I went for the first time with my mom last week. It was awesome!!! The food was soooooo good! I had the Cheyenne Chicken and my Mom had the Gumbo, both were delicious!! The Bread Pudding is to die for! Yummy Our waitress Emily was so nice! The atmosphere is cozy and the music is great. I will definitely be back with my sister and some friends. I came back here with one of my friends 2weeks ago and my Sister last night. Both times the food was delicious and the staff were wonderful!! Courtney our server and Joe the Bartender are awesome!!! Courtney keep a check on us throughout the evening even as the restaurant started to get busy. Joe makes an amazing Old Fashioned! We had a great time as usual!!!

Convenient downtown location, just south of Mount Vernon. Comfy restaurant with casual decor. The menu is what really sets this place apart. I've been there twice recently. The first time I had a really nice salad with rare tuna on top. Today I had an awesome pizza with pomodoro tomatoes, spinach, crab meat, and shrimp. The pizza, in particular, was delicious and loaded with a generous amount of crab and shrimp. The portions are big enough to leave you full satisfied, with a decent chance you're still taking a doggie bag home. Would definitely recommend for lunch. And it's not bad for happy hour either!

The food was pricey but good-- absolutely no complaints there. However, we had a child with us yet were still seated in the tiny shared booth section. Our son had to sit on my husbands lap as there was only inches between us and the other patrons. Not only that but our waiter was fairly unpleasant. The entire time he gave off the impression that we weren't welcome there with our child, so much so that as soon as our food came out we asked for boxes and the check so that we could leave.

Got off of work a little later. Didn't eat lunch. Was a little hungry. A coworker of mine suggested this place. Never again. My server was the bartender his name was Joe. White guy with a salt and pepper beard. I have never been there so it did take me a few minutes to see what I wanted. When it came time to check out my credit card was sitting on the counter forever. So I'm not sure if the bartender was upset because I took a long time to order initially. The food was just okay. It's after work spot I saw everyone ordering chicken wings. Maybe I should have ordered that. I ordered crispy shrimp. there are times in life where you will eat because you are hungry not because the food is great and this was one of those times.

Good for a quick bite with some friends but Maisy's also has a good "date night" atmosphere. The new manager TJ is great and the bar staff is always on point. I haven't sat at a table so I can't comment on the wait staff. Food is delicious and specialty drinks are out-of-this-world. Try the black bean hummus.

Wow! Absolutely amazing! Mac and cheese is on point! Pork chops juicy and delicious! There was at least 5 other items on the menu I would have gotten if I hadn't been so absolutely stuffed with the delicious food I had already eaten. I never thought of Baltimore as a food City, but this restaurant may have changed my mind! Please give it a try!

Great food, fair prices, okay service. Two can eat their fill for 40, with drinks. This is a great, authentic Baltimore spot with good seafood options. The food was delicious and fairly priced. Happy hour specials were great ($3 for a Yuengling). The Charles Street mac and Swedish meatballs were a great match of appetizers. Unfortinately our server was very inattentive, but the other servers seemed friendly and hardworking.

Only had dessert - apple crisp - and it was a little too sweet and way too mushy for my tastes. I tasted the bread pudding as well from someone else at the table, which the waitress said was their best seller, but it had the same appeal as the apple crisp. The entrees may be better but diner beware.

Per the reviews on YELP myself and my friend decided to give Maisy's a try this past weekend day trip to Baltimore. The wait was non-existent to be seated but there was a long wait for everything else from being greeted by the waiter, to ordering food, to getting food, to paying for our bill. I understand the establishment was short staffed and when I say short staffed only one waiter working the entire restaurant. This review is receiving two stars because the food I order was really good. I ordered Megan's Day After....French Toast, Turkey Sausage, Scrambled Egg with Cheese topped with Bacon and Maple Syrup.

Dinner was great. To start we had the crab and spinach dip. It was served with toasted baguette. I had the shrimp and crab Salad (it has a name but I forget it.. something suicide think). It was like a chopped salad with crab and shrimp with a ginger sesame sauce that complemented the salad well. He had the blackened tuna cook a perfect medium. That came served over mashed taters with a creamy crabmeat sauce with corn and green beans. It was classy comfort. No real complaints about the crabcake with is a compliment coming from me. The wine prices were decent. They had 30, 40 and 50 dollar bottle options so that was good. Overall the atmosphere was nice. I didn't feel uncomfortable dining in my work uniform but it's classy enough that I would not feel uncomfortable coming in for dinner before a show or the likes. The staff was pleasantly attentive and easy to interact with. I would come again and recommend this restaurant to others.

Good food and pretty good service. Somewhat pricey and the coffee was meh. I really liked it, but I wasn't in love with it. 3 stars feels too low, but 5 stars feels too high. I've been to Maisy's twice now, and they're a consistent nice 4 star meal for the price.

Went to Maisy's before an event at the Royal Farms Arena last night. Everything was absolutely incredible. First, we started with drinks and appetizers. Incredible selection of beer, wine, and liquor. We got the Crab Dip as our appetizer and it was great. Creamy and full of crab. Dinner I got the Crab Cake Sandwich and fries. Possibly the best crab cake I've ever had. With Dinner I had a glass of Johnny Walket Black on the rocks. The drink prices were excellent. Then desserts, my girlfriend and I shared thr Chocolate Mousse cake and the other two at our table got the bread pudding and the apple crisp. All of them were delicious. All in all it was probably the best meal and experience I've had in a restaurant in a long time. Michael, our server, was knowledgable about everything on the menu and was very personable. This will become our go to spot for dinner when in Baltimore area.

A terrific local place with great happy hour specials and terrific food. I've had their pizza, fish tacos, buffalo chicken quesadillas and more. It's all good food in a great location at that weird, south of Mt. Vernon but north of downtown, location. Great staff and cozy atmosphere have kept me a regular.

The waitress was very nice and accommodating and the food was mostly good. But the blackened scallops were horrible. I wish I had sent the back, but I was enjoying the sauce and the noodles. They did not looked burned, but they tasted burned. I would try this place again but the scallops are not worth the $22. Wish I could get my money back.

Overall the place was very nice. Our server was helpful and pleasant. The crab soup and steak salad was excellent. The salmon dish was good but a little under seasoned. The crab cake was good. The service was a little slow although they were busy. Wish there was a kids menu since my 6 year burger was $11... Would definitely go back.

Missy's is way cool space and the staff are friendly. My first experience was awesome -great food, great service, nice people-way cool atmosphere- but I went after happy hour. My second experience -happy hour. All of the above, except the happy hour food was NOT good. Pizza looked great, but was tasteless- I had to add salt. Wings taste like they were two days old with day old sauce. And the ranch dressing? lets just say it far from being ranch. Maisy's, now come on, how can you call it happy hour when the food taste so sad?

We went for a quick lunch. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. I got a cup of crab soup that had a great flavor and big lumps of crab. My wife got the cuban and said it was a little dry. The cuban came with sweet potato fries that were good. Our friend got the meatloaf and liked it a lot. This is definitely a place I'd visit again.

I like it here and will probably return. Maisy's has a super chilled atmosphere; although, there were quite a few senior patrons (they were chilled too..that's Baltimore for ya :). The staff were in casual wear and super attentive. The ambiance is warm; dimmed lighting and no frills. The food was good and I wish I could remember the name of it; it was a pasta and scallop dish. This pasta is to die for, but I personally prefer my scallops a bit more done, so I'll ask for that next time. The crabcakes were good too; I wouldn't call it lumped, but good nonetheless. And they serve a $6 glass of Malbec that's pretty damn good. My mom and I enjoyed our Sunday dinner here

Fricking delicious! I ordered the Emily's Salmon. OMG! It was incredible. The fish was crisp on the outside, tender in the center. The mashed potatoes and spinach was on point as well! My friend got the Porterhouse chop! Also delicious. It had a sweet savory sauce. Cheesecake was heavenly and the beer was tasty too! Will travel to Baltimore for Maisy's.

Was staying at the Crowne Plaza around the corner. As you always should, I asked the guy who checked me in, what’s a good spot close by for food. I expense most things while I’m traveling, so prefer to walk instead of Uber when possible to a good dinner spot. The first and only place the guy suggested was Maisy’s. I of course listened and went there around 9 pm for a late dinner. I usually eat at the bar while traveling alone so walked straight to it. Got a smile and nod from the server on the way in, which made me feel welcome before I even sat down. Once at the bar, the bartender finished serving the drink he already was, and immediately came to me after. I could tell from watching on my way in, it had been a long night for him, however as soon as he came to serve me, immediately put on a smile. Even let me bug him to put on the playoff game! Thanks Joseph!!!!! The food was amazing, the service to me, amazing also. I’m a super picky eater, and worked in food service for about 10 years prior to my current organization. I have high expectations of both food and service, Maisy’s and their staff far exceeded that. I certainly hope this review finds anyone contemplating eating here. The 4/5 star reviews are pretty spot on, but the low ones, I’d chalk it up to a lack of knowledge, understanding, or decency on their end. I have dinner meetings scheduled a couple days, but of the 5 I have left in town, I can guarantee I will be here at least 3/4 times. In summary, great food, service, atmosphere, and honestly as someone moving here in about a month, I will now be a long term regular. Thank you Joseph, Courtney, and All other staff for a great experience, and I will see you again soon! I had the macaroni and cheese with bacon, as well as the buffalo chicken quesadilla. Both were on point. Go here, or risk missing out .... signed a regular picky person that was thoroughly impressed.

It all started on a rainy Thursday night after a long day of work. I came home, not wanting to cook at all, and said “I just want a really dank salad.” My boyfriend and I proceeded to go down memory lane of all the dank salads we’ve had from salad’s past. Unfortunately, none of them were in Baltimore. Then I took it to trusty Google and searched “best salads in Baltimore” but let’s be honest, i barely trust anyone else’s opinions. Back to salad-square one. Searched grubhub and was less than impressed. I mean literally every restaurant has at least one salad of some kind. Needed to narrow it down. Then we decided what we really wanted was a salad with salmon. And somehow my boyfriend came across Maisy’s and their Grilled Salmon Salad. And. Just. Wow. Roasted red pepper and wasabi peas and goat cheese, OH MY! What kind of sorcery is this? Even the salmon was cooked perfectly. It is therefore in my official capacity as the Dank Salad Seeker to dub thee Maisy’s Grilled Salmon Salad as The Dankest Salad in Baltimore! My work here is done. Also the Kanae’s Ahi Tuna Salad and the Black Bean & Veggie Spring Rolls were Out of this World. Just sayin.

Went for lunch on a Sunday. Understaffed. Tables were gross and sticky from a deteriorating lacquer. Glass came out with a giant thumb smudge. Skillet potato side came out cold. Table next to our received burned waffles. Pass. There are so many better places in Baltimore.

My coworker and I walked from Charles Towers apartments and had lunch. It is close. The lunch servers were kind and attentive. Our food came out quick and delicious. The crab cake was good. We will definitely try them again.

Maisy's was a surprising find during our second night out in Baltimore. We both ordered different flat bread pizzas (BBQ Chicken and the French Pizza), and both were equally as tasty with plenty of leftovers for another meal. We shared an Escobar to drink which had an excellent, and unique flavor with one large ice cube. Highly recommend!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Where else can you go and get a decent bottle of wine with your meal for an amazing price. The menu is awesome and all of their food is delicious and reasonably price. It has the most perfect and cozy atmosphere. Definitely a favorite when traveling to Baltimore.

From the Mixologist who came from behind the bar to seat us(and asked us for a recommendation for a happy hour mixed drink...and proceded to add it to the days mixed drink happy hour menu!), to the ambiance/decor, to the quality of the meal served. Exceeded my expectations. We had the Crab Cake Meal with spinach and potato(excellent). Enjoy!

My group had a very enthusiastic server and it was a pleasant experience! Got seated right away and the food came quickly. Our server mentioned that they had been named #2 best crab cakes on Trip Advisor, so we had to order that! We had ordered mussels and a margarita pizza too. Everything was super yummy and fresh! They served the crab cake with arugula and it was the perfect pairing of fried crab meat and fresh nuttiness of the arugula. Mussels were super fresh! Pizza was a thin crust, deff stone oven baked!! The burntness left a perfect smokey taste with the marinara and melted cheese.

Great place! Came here for early Valendine's day dinner and had a great time! Good things were that there were big portions and really good flavoring. The atmosphere was loud and happy and friendly. The waiter was super friendly and not overbearing. The bad things were that the pork I got was a bit dry/tough, the mashed potatoe's flavor was a bit light, and I thought our seating was a bit cramped and her made cold by the doors opening and closing.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant, the barbecue pizza we had was among some of the best pizza we ever had. The crab cake burger was absolutely delicious! Definitely a gem of Baltimore, super delicious with cozy and family like accommodation and prices were very reasonable! Honestly, the whole experience took us by surprise, we obviously picked restaurant that we think would be good, but that dining experience was out of this world. Highly highly recommended!
