Third year in a row and three times this week. I guess you could say I like lobster. Tommy has this way of making you feel welcomed and special and the staff at the counter do to. I usually get the lobster roll or boiled lobster. Yesterday was the hard versus soft shell challenge, both lobsters were great, but I think I'll stay with soft shell lobster.

I bought lobster here to take home to pa and the man took his time to pack them up rite and went down to the water and got sea weed to pack them up in. Wish I would've met him earlier I fish and he was filled with info on strippers. What I am saying is very good service and friendly people. Places like this makes harpswell Maine what it is. A beautiful town with hard working lobster fishermen and women, a place you wish everywhere can be like.

My boyfriend and I discovered Erica's Seafood three years ago on a road trip up the east coast. We make it a point to visit every year we come up to New England. Tom never disappoints and the Lobster is the BEST... always sweet, perfectly steamed and worth every mile. EDIT: he is now my ex boyfriend and promoted to fiancé when he proposed on the dock at Erica’s Seafood... it truly is a special place.

Pet friendly, casual outdoor dining on the waterfront. No frills, BYOB but amazingly reasonable price for steamed lobsters. We had 2 lobsters, each over 1.75 pounds for only $27. Yes, you do pay a couple of extra bucks for the setup (butter, crackers, bibs etc) and to have them steamed but the price is well worth not having to do the cleanup afterwards. It's definitely worth the drive!

Good lobsters and good food. Not the best rolls, but you come here for the fresh lobsters and the view. It gets crowded quickly if you happen to come during busy hours (mealtime or holidays), though.

Not bad at all. Several choices on the menu. Wife got lobster on a bed of lettuce and I got the haddock basket with onion rings. Both were good, but the lobster was less plentiful and smaller chunks than Shannon's in Boothbay Harbor, but $7 cheaper. The haddock was perfectly fried. The onion rings were good but thinner than we prefer. There is a take out shack as well as a restaurant. If in the area, we would gladly return.

Don't go here unless you want to eat a pile of greasy food and meet up with a couple of VERY UNFRIENDLY employees!! This used to be our favorite place to go. I'm not sure what happened but the place has sadly went down hill. We would drive 45 minutes just to go here.

Yesterday we visited Erica’s Seafood on a very foggy Monday afternoon. The fog kept the temperatures cool as the Mainland was close to 90 degrees. Erica’s is everything you expect in a traditional Maine Lobster Shack. Nothing fancy, only take-out, seats are on picnic tables by the parking lot, overlooking the working dock. When its not fogged in, their are great views of South Harpswell and Casco Bay. We enjoyed the crab roll and lobster roll with sides. The lobster roll was one of the best tasting I ever had in Maine. The prices are fair but this is a no frills dining experience. Bathrooms are port o potties around back. Well behaved dogs are Welcome ! Highly recommend for the true Maine experience!

Tommy is an Awesome Mainer...get your Lobster from him at the dock While he boils it right there everything else is ordered up at the stand from Erica and Andrea. For the fun of it tell him Captains Mike and Alyce sent you. I will bet you he remembers has he shakes more water out of the lobster before.He is an awesome people person he'll remember you as he explains lobstering while you Pat Brandy the dock mascot Why go to a restaurant . Sit right by the dock and watch the lobsters come in that's real DownEast. They have a soda machine and you can bring your own beverage especially if it's Shipyard!

I had a great meal there. The fresh lobster was delicious - and the price was soooo good. The clam chowder was the BEST I've ever had - so much clam in it, I actually had to look for the potato chunks in the soup. It was great value for me. (However, I am not a fan of fried food so I didn't really care for the fried plates they had.)

Wonderful selection of seafood offerings! Lobster rolls are delicious, but didn't fill us up so we ordered fried scallops and fried Haddock which did the trick. It's bring your own drinks or be prepared to get a soda from the vending machine. Great views of the bay!

Worth the drive. Pick your own lobster out of a large tank. Low prices delicious fresh food. Eat in or take out. Owners are friendly and enjoy talking to the kids about lobstering. They have tables inside the lobster shed when it rains. Tables outside so you can enjoy the view.

As fresh as seafood can get. Delicious. Right on the water, you can see the fishermen bringing their catch in. A little pricey, but not bad, and absolutely worth every penny. No beverages, so bring a water. I loved every bite, I will definitely eat there again.

I give credit to the locals of Portland for this gem! During the season, go and grab your own lobster in the tank, name it, and savor every crunch of the shell and enjoy the luscious meat. The other items serve well for lunchtime the next day. Remember to bring cash only!

If you are in the area and enjoy seafood definitely worth stopping by. They offer a wide variety of very good items in a pleasant setting by the water. The Crabster Roll (lobster & crab meat mix) was very popular with friends who were visiting. Open hours are 11am - 7pm daily from Mother's Day Weekend thru Columbus Day. They are also cash only so bring some real money because I don't think there's an ATM on-site. During peak season it can be pretty busy so plan accordingly. Staff are also friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. All in all a nice place to enjoy some good food by the water.

Moved from Maine to Georgia & up here for a short visit. Made a special trip from Portland to see Harpswell friends and to come here for my lobster fix! Always a favorite, Tommy & Erica run a great place. Fresh seafood, no frozen stuff here. The oysters today were tiny flavor bombs, the breading light & crunchy, the haddock spot on, lobster flavorful. Til next time!

This was the first lobster shack we visited on our Maine vacation. We absolutely loved the view from the dock. There were lots of other “fans” eating there with us, but all were so friendly and there was just enough seating, which made it all the more enjoyable to eat where the locals eat. An experience I’ll never forget. They even took the time to pull a “jumbo” out of the tank for a photo op for us! The perfect first meal in Maine for us.

Love this place! Worth the drive on a hot day. Lobster prices are always competitive. Head down to the building by the pier and grab your lobster to take home, or have it steamed for an extra dollar. Snack shack next door has butter, Cole saw, all the fixings (and some other food options, but the lobster is the"maine" attraction). Cash only.

Overall a great meal. My lobster roll was stuffed with large, juicy chunks of fresh lobster, but one of our party got a quarter of that portion size in hers. The clam chowder was overflowing with clams, potatoes, and onions and the broth was delicious, but every bite came with an equal amount of crunchy sand. Willing to give it another try when I pass through the area next time.
