REVIEWS OF Pier 424 Seafood Market IN Louisiana

Pathetic. Small servings, not the first piece of andouille in the jambalaya, generally bland. Our server acted like she didn't want to be there. There are a thousand places in New Orleans - find another one.

Felicia Evans

Waitress Lucky was amazing!!!! Very nice and attentive. Great atmosphere. Food was delicious! We tried the seafood platter, crab cakes, etoufee and wings. Everything was seasoned to perfection!

AMAZING FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE The Heat Is REAL! SO GOOD!!

Peggy Muga

Laura fixed me the best "Old Fashioned" Bourbon drink I have ever had! Food in the restaurant side was excellent and the service was good.

Tim South

My meal was good blackened shrimp. Veggies fresh etc.bur, could not get even one refill of tea after asking twice. My wife had fried oysters and ordered Sprite. The oysters were not edible and she got club soda instead of Sprite. Sent that back and asked for diet coke twice and never got it waitress was hardly seen and could not bring drinks after asking twice. They did take the oysters off the check. But essentially had no waitress, and could not get drinks. Bad service.

Tommy Kilpatrick

I had the fresh shrimp boil and it was incredible. Extremely fresh shrimp, deliciously well seasoned potatoes, corn, and sausage. It was reasonably priced ($26 was the market price at the time) and the service was friendly.

Ralph Kastanek

We love this place. Gone to so many other places over the years and had terrible service. We have always been able to walk in and sit at the bar. Dinner is great and oysters are terrific. So many of the staff are great and fun to talk to. If you sit at the front of the bar, talk to Jeremiah, great guy!

Jennifer Stevenson

Food was decent. I ordered the new Orleans trio. My friend ordered the cajun pasta. She said it was ok. The waitress Cassaundra was not attentive.

Bentley Maguire

This place has the best shrimp po boy and the best crab cakes ever. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. The drinks were also on point. The earlier you can arrive the better as this place gets pretty busy around 7pm. Process are reasonable and can't wait to come back. Don't forget to order the crab cakes!

We recently stopped in New Orleans and ate here. They were not very busy downstairs(10 tables of patrons), but it took 8-10 min before anyone came over to take our drink order. We ordered drinks and appetizers and then waited more than 15 min before a different waitress came to take our food order. Our second waitress stood with her back to us at the drink refill area for 5-7 min before checking on the table beside us(never made contact with us). I finally got up, went to the refill area with our glasses and asked for refills. She offered no apology (keep in mind, she was only waiting our table and one other because they were slow). The general manager was watching this all and never said a word to her or apologized to us for the lack of service. The food was decent, but nothing great. We had eaten at Roux 61 in Baton Rouge a few days earlier, which was amazing, so we had a gauge as to what good food was! I plan to come back to New Orleans, but never to Pier 424!

You have to take it for what it is, it's not competing with the high end places it's on Bourbon Street after all. Perfectly delicious food and a balcony where you can watch the circus on the street. This is the only place here I know of that has frogs legs and they are always yummy. Haven't had a bad meal yet and the staff is friendly. The service may not always be fast but take your time and enjoy the show. This is the best balcony on Bourbon Street. I usually come here more than once in the same vacation and that's says a lot all by itself.

Branden Wick

Amazing crawfish and sauteed crab claws. Great beer selection and very friendly staff.

Bill Courville

Good food good service great atmosphere right on Bourbon Street

Bianca Lombardo

It wasn't anything spectacular. We had to send back our oysters because they tasted terrible. The entries came luke warm and everything seemed like it was made earlier and then microwaved. The customer service was good but the food was not worth it. There are many other good places around NOLA that are cheaper and better !

Daniel De Oliveira

Chris Champion

Went during Fat Tuesday so service was a little slow. Personally the food was just okay, but I chalk that up to the amount of people they were having to accommodate. Otherwise the waitstaff was attentive and helpful.

Michael Jamieson

Very nice decor, friendly service, and very informative

Vibhor Makkar

Great apps and drinks. Perfect place on the strip for a quick bite

Keith Slankard

First time here in this place was amazing. Sauteed crab fingers, snow crab dinner and the dude behind the counter shucking oysters was the best shucker around. Wish I remembered his name cuz he was A plus

David White

Great food, great portions, great service

Werner Hall

We had our first oysters there, bakedbin the oven with their homemade receipe It tasted great Great location, very good cocktails and a super friendly stuff

LaTanya Green

I had the red beans and rice with a small piece of honey glazed boneless chicken and a small piece of andouille sausage. The dish was good but pieces of protein were really small. I also tasted my friends gumbo and that was very well flavored however it was supposed to have both chicken and andouille sausage in it and my friend"s particular portion had neither.

Becky O'Neill

Great service and food. I highly reccomend the crab cakes!

Chip Cox

Very disappointed compared to it's sister restaurant the Chartley where we are the night before. It shows how differently the staff are managed. We specifically came because we knew they were affiliated with each other and enjoyed the Chartley so much. Service here does not compare. We came at around the same time 5:30 so there was not a rush. I can not speak for the food too much as we decided to just get appetizers after having to wait approx 10 minutes for someone to come to our table. The place was clean and presentable especially for being on Bourban Street but go to their other brand and get yourself the Crawfish Mac and cheese... That's where it's at

Eric Maus

Great place to sit on the balcony and watch the happenings on bourbon street. We had beers and wine, and fresh oysters. Stayed for a a cpl of hours. The only complaint I had is the oyster shuckers did not do a great job cleaning the oysters before shucking them there was so much mud inside we had to send the first round back they had mud all over the oysters. Very disappointed but the server was quick to make it right.

Gayle Cole

Overall good. Staff are very friendly, fried alligator was great, gumbo was not

Aisha Hodge-Jackson

This place was amazing!! Best gumbo I've ever had. Frog legs were amazing. Crab cakes delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Best meal I had during my stay in NOLA. We are in the city several times a year, I will be sure to make this place a part of our regular rotation.

Avon Diva

On a very hot day it was nice to come into a cold restaurants on Bourbon Street. The food was delicious. The food took a while to come out though, and that was kind of off-putting. But I'm very patient. I will say that the food what's worth the wait. I would definitely eat here again.

Kaitlin Kelly

Always good food!. This last time I was hear I sat at the bar, and Anthony the tender was great. Very knowledgeable!

Araceli E

We visit 424 every year for our girls trip It does not disappoint. Service good every time. Jamyra was a great hostess

David Weddig

We were seated right away, but more than 10 minutes passed without getting talked to by any wait staff. When we left the hostesses were surprised that we got no help.

Tera Phoenix

Service was Great, Table Came Quickly even for a large good as we had. Staff Friendly, Lots Of Smiles and Hello. Made us feel very Welcomed. Food was Delicious, Only Thing Could have been better was temp of the Food. It was Luke warm.

Dwayne Liddell

Very nice establishment. Right on Bourbon St. Service was fantastic. My wife had some authentic jambalaya for the first time and liked to hurt herself eating it.

Chi Kao

新奧爾良深度遊: The price is little bit pricy, food is okay. Only good choice for late night food, there are many restaurants are better than this and cheaper. I rather than get wings

Ray Andula

Good seafood. We stopped in for lunch and were looking for boiled shrimp. Most places served it fried. Here, i was able to get boiled shrimp which came with corn on the cob and bolled potatoes. It was well seasoned and i really liked it. My wife got blackened shrimp with jambalaya and vegetables. She liked it too. Atmosphere was nice and it was a good respite from the heat too. All in all, very good.

rishi vasireddy

We were here for dinner on a Monday night and I our wonderful waitress Jamyra was fantastic. We ordered blackened shrimp and boiled crawfish. Both dishes were delicious, we left happy licking our fingers

Tuxedo Mechanic

The corn on the cob is hotter than a mother*÷@!# (if spicy burn your lips is what you are looking for, look no further). The blackened chicken was dry it was seasoned properly, but lack the juicy savory taste. The corn crab bisque was tastefully delicious. The crabcakes were crispy and seasoned to perfection. The chicken andouille jambalaya was the best thing on the menu in my opinion.

Lynetta Lewis

Everything was Good except the fried oysters our waiter Elliott was not so good he never refilled our cups but overall nice restaurant and I will visit again or recommend to a friend

Shemia Harvin

Oh my gosh, this food was awesome. Loved the environment. The wait was a little extensive but I completely understand why. When I visit New Orleans again I'll definitely be back here.

Tina Davis

Very nice place, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Enjoyed our lunch there very much.

Jamin Mootz

The staff was really friendly and prompt, and my food was delicious!

Briana Dorsey

Food is great. The sauteed crab claws amazing and sweet potatoes fries with the ameretto glaze to die for. So many great menu items. Best time to go is at night. With the best crew.

Terrence Taylor

This place is great. I highly recommend it.

mike licata

The best roasted oysters that I have ever had!!!

Teresa Disbennet

Great service and New Orlean Cuisine. Best oyster ever had!

Jeremy Williams

Stopped in for lunch. Servers were greeting people and friendly as I entered. I sat at the bar which was apparently a mistake. The bar was more than half empty. 3 bar tenders were there for most of the time I was there. The service was not good. Service in the dining room seem fine from what I saw. I initially didn't get one of the drinks I ordered and had to ask for it again. A bar tender was more concerned with drinking his drink and texting than taking my order so it took quite a while to put my order in. I guess they were friendly enough. Definitely not stellar service I've received at other places in New Orleans. I got the crab cakes and crawfish lettuce wraps. The crab cakes were good. The lettuce wraps were incredible. However, the guys shucking the oysters left them out, not on ice, for well over 30 minutes while I was there. See pic below. They were still there when I left. Glad I didn't get the oysters.

Donna

Corn and crab chowder was very good. Shrimp po' boy was decent. Asked for unsweetened iced tea, and was given a sweetened one instead. Servers were polite, and it was clean.

SNE Rahkwal

When i went here i was hoping to get some good food at a decent price, we were greeted by a waitress in the first 3 minutes being sat down which was good, but after that it took 15 minutes to get drinks, and our appetizers took a solid 30 minutes to get out and after we recieved our appetizers, another 45 minutes had passed before we got our food and i had ordered a shrimp po-boy, and this cost me 15 dollar mind you, i had asked specifically for no lettuce and no tomato, the 2 extras on the sandwich were lettuce and tomato, and the quality of the food, i have eaten better off of a mcdonalds dollar menu, This place is NOT being revisted, especially after 3 different groups of people came in and out at the same table before we even got our food, Unbelievable

Ken Swanson

Our favorite meal so far in downtown N.O. our food was rich and flavorful, bordering on decadent. Service was friendly and timely, if not exceptional. The prices were slightly lower than we expected considering the area, which was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend going here at least once if you visit NOLA. Get am Abita Amber and the trio for a true taste of the cities culinary roots.

ruth vasquez

Such a terrible experience. When we arrived and sat down at our table it took the waiter 7 minutes to come and take our drink order. When the waiter finally arrived to greet us we ordered our food and drinks. Our drinks were sitting at the bar for more than 7 minutes. Our food took an hour to come out. The restaurant was not busy and there was multiple waiters standing around talking to each other instead of helping out. I will never return to this restaurant!!

Sheri Washington

It was okay. Food was good but didn't come out hot and the soup serving is small, both the bisque and gumbo. We waited over 30 minutes to be seated and yet when finally seated, noticed that there several empty seats in the restaurant. Overall, I could not in good faith give them more than the rating I did. Kinda disappointed in the experience.

Ronald Diggs

Black man. Have a seat at the bar alone until you're served. If you're served share your experience, if not wait until someone who looks like you sits at the bar and wait until he is served. While you wait take a look around. Soon the the bar will be filled with people who look just like you. Including the black man behind the bar. I could have vacationed at home in Seattle.

Production Apostle

This place is cool. Definitely have good plates like frog legs and crab legs. Busy bourbon street atmosphere for sure so it is nosey but it is Bourbon. Problem is that is smells like a dirty bar rag with a hint of bleach to try and hide it. My suggestion is to use several dehumidifiers to suck the moisture out of the air when you close to get rig of the smell. But I will go back and our bartender she was very sweet and attentive.

Tawneisha Salinas

Everything was delicious!! Ashley R. was amazing with her recommendations for food and drinks! I will def return

OCTAVIA OBY

Ordered the Creole pasta...absolutely delicious...hurricane had a perfect blend...

Kendall Nash

Food was pretty much garbage, crab cakes were terrible, tarter sauce seemed rotten, ceiling kept dripping on one of the chairs at our table and there was a white chunk of something frozen in one of my ice cubes. We didn’t expect super fine dining on Bourbon Street, but the other reviews seems pretty positive. Not a great experience for us here, unfortunately.

Nicole D.

VERY poor service, HORRIBLE food. Food seems like it was cooked hours ago. I ordered peel and eat shrimp boil. The corn was hard and very over cooked. Keith the manager was very rude. Not worth the money, go somewhere else.

Angie Stump

Food was good! Drinks were great! Free street entertainment out front!

marek

We called in last night after the storm had passed and had some really nice food. Starts were buffalo wings in a hot sauce and crab cake. The wings were more like chicken legs ... trust me ... enormous

Sara Payo

Very friendly service and variety of menu items. Food is delicious and served hot. Friend alligator and frog legs were great. Drinks (Hurricane) are wonderful and boozy. Entrees were nice and hot. Would definitely come again.

Natura Lologist

So we ordered our food and waited over 30 minutes before the waitress even came back to our table, and when she did my husband ask her why it’s taking so long. We were one of the only tables upon our arrival, yet never got our food because everyone that came in after us got their food and their bill and we’re still waiting. She seemed to have had an attitude. She told us it depends on when the order was put in... Cassandra was the one that took our order, did she not put it in when she left our table?? Anyways, so my husband order a fried fish po’ boy and I order a salad topped with Cajun shrimp with no dairy. She brings my husband a shrimp po’ boy and me my Cajun shrimp salad with cheese on it! My husband just kept the shrimp po’ boy, after waiting so long that he refused to wait again. I sent the salad back, requesting it be made without cheese as I originally ordered. She took it back and returned with a plate that literally had only iceberg lettuce and about 6 shrimp for $25.00! Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone nor would we choose to return on a future visit!

SANDRA MARTELET

Wow! This place is very nice! Food is great, extensive menu including all kinds of drinks. Clean property, nice staff! Highly recommendeed! And.... Here we are again! Is that good ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bob Gatlin

Food was excellent, prices great considering the location. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable.

Donna Thomas

Our go to spot every trip.Set at the bar, watch the game and meet great people from all walks of life.

NikkiAyanna DIBR

Food was good but the service was slow.

TaQuanis

Poor service! It took 30 minutes before we got our drinks and 1hr 15 minutes before we received our food. The appetizers were good, but the entrees were horrible. On the upside all entrees were removed from the bill.

Brittanie Smith

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We sat for about 15 min. The restaurant wasn't even crowded. 4 waiters passed by us, never greeted us asked if we want water... nothing. We sat there waiting for so long we already decided what we wanted to order. Another table came in and literally within 60 sec. A waiter was at there table greeting them. We got up and left. Drove all the from Atlanta and my first time in New Orleans and this is my experience. Smh

Catrina Mahill

We had a great meal here. Everything tasted fresh, it was delicious. Our waitress Lucky was awesome and super attentive and definitely added to our positive experience. Worth a stop for sure.

Dee Banks

Best Oysters. Great staff, friendly atmosphere

Judy Prescott

Food was great, service was okay. I ordered the frog leg platter and the waiter brought me the appetizer. I told him I ordered the platter but he said they did not have one on the menu. I said they did, he said no but he would check and he was wrong. He corrected his mistake but shouldn't waiters know their menus? I was also put off by the host, a young man with a nice black shirt and black pants but when you walked behind him his pants were around his hips and yellow boxers stood out. It was not professional for a nice restaurant. He was polite but he should dress the part. Service is the reason for the three stars.

James Ryan

Right on the party street. Great food! Good service!

Renee West

They were delicious and the server was amazing! I had a great time and the crab cake alfredo was everything!!!!!!! I will definitely return during my next New Orleans trip.

Luis Zelaya

Good overall but it could use some minor changes. The service was a bit slow for being right on Bourbon St. The food was decent but waited over 30 min after ordering. The gunbo was warm by the time it was brought to the table. The taste was good .

V J

The food was good and the server jasmine was excellant

John Harvey

Great selection of New Orleans based cuisine. Decently priced, good atmosphere and very attentive staff. Would recommend.

Luke Fuselier

Possibly the best food I've ever had

Becky Revels

One or the best places we ate at.. can't wait to visit again.

Elizabeth Luchenburg

DIDNT RISK TRYING THE FOOD! ROTTING FOOD AND GIANT HAIRS...We went in, sat at the bar. We ordered drinks and the smell of trash and rotting seafood was so overwhelming that we decided we couldn't risk eating or even stand to eat the food and would just wait for the drinks we ordered so we could pay and leave! We got our drinks, my husband ordered a Corona and there was this long hair wrapped around the lime sticking out of the bottle. So we had to wait to get a new beer for him. The bartender and the hostess were nice enough, but the whole experience was just so unsettling. We thought maybe the smell was just coming in from outside (which is understandable because there is such a bad trash smell along that stretch) but when we stepped outside there was no smell like what was inside. NO RESTAURANT SHOULD SMELL LIKE TRASH!

Kardiyer Daily

We found this place while walking down Bourbon street. The employees we spoke to where pleasant. The server was friendly. The problems began after we ordered. Our table and several others waited a long time for food. After receiving food we had to wait for server to bring silverware. I saw a couple at the table next to us get their own off another table. The food was beautifully plated. Kids popcorn shrimp and fries 8 year old enjoyed it although he said his soda tasted funny. Shrimp poboy requested no pickles. Pickles were on it nothing on the bread. That bread was so hard you could hardly bite it. To top it off after the first bite my 7 month prego daughter became immediately nauseous. Sauteed Crawfish Claws was delicious. Blackened Shrimp with jambalaya both were cold not even room temperature. Our wonderful server took the po boy off the ticket and partial off the Blackened Shrimp because my grandson ate the shrimp and veggies. Then we were looking around waiting for our ticket 3 servers sitting at a table doing more talking than rolling silver in cloth napkins. I walked to their table to ask for the ticket. No one checked on us during meal. I ordered water with lemon no lemon. I didn't drink the water. Lots of employees walking around back n forth empty handed doing nothing. No one apologized for bad food. This place reminded me of #BarRescue with some changes they could be five star. The kids popcorn shrimp picture didn't save.

Suzette Rivera

Colleen was our waitress, service was excellent and she was such a delight. We are here vacationing from Dallas, TX I had be best Shrimp Creole I have ever had and my husband had New Orleans Trio. We will be back tonight for dessert! Well worth your time and money!!

Jennifer Hewitt

We were referred to Pier 424 for good seafood. We wanted to take our mother to a nice place for Mother's Day. When we greeted the host and told her how many, she said they are cleaning a table. We asked for a table in the back since there were 10 tables available. The host told us NO. One of our orders was crab legs - the corn was overcooked and disgusting- the potatoes didn't look healthy- and we had to ask for all of the utensils to eat the crab. One of the orders came out wrong and 2 of the people with us had to get their orders to go because they had to be somewhere- which we should've had plenty of time in the first place. They weren't that busy and it took us 2 1/2 hours to eat dinner on Mother's Day. Ridiculous!!!

Nikki Duncan

This was our midnight stop. Food was good. We are from Houston and $30 for ONE pound of crabs is a NO-GO!! I know this is Bourbon Street, but really

Audra Simon

The minute I hit Bourbon Street this was the first restaurant we hit absolutely amazing. I loved our meal from start to finish. Can't wait to get back there.

America Torres

Danny our server was great. Food was delicious

John Roby Morsberger

Recommended by a friend, I showed up with 9 friends. They were very accommodating and we all had an excellent lunch. Adult beverages available.

Jeffrey Smith

Food was awesome! The view from the balcony where we ate was great! Service was slow but it was worth the wait!

Janna Humphrey

Can't remember my servers name but he was great. The food was delicious!

Jennifer Foxworthy

Claudia!! She is awesome. We got to sit on the balcony!! Girls tried oysters for the first time... they didn't like them but can say they had an oyster on a balcony in NOLA!! The wings for my son were WHOLE and so good. My chicken caesar salad was very good. The chicken BLT and fries were liked as well. Highly recommend!!

Patrick Lobb

Three stars overall due to excellent food but lacking service. I came a couple weeks ago the night of the Chewbacchus parade around 11 PM and had a less than stellar experience. My date and I waited 10 minutes to be greeted after being sat in a relatively empty restaurant. After being greeted, the server informed us that she was having some trouble with another table and apologized. I understand completely. So I order a beer and a water, my date sticks with water. The drinks, water included, takes 15 minutes during which I see the server sitting with the manager rolling silverware. The hostess comes over to deliver our drinks and then takes our food order. The redeeming quality was the food was delivered by the chef and was OUTSTANDING! Big shout out to the kitchen that night because you rocked out! But then the check was delivered by the hostess instead of our server. Not great service, pretty slow overall, but the food was phenomenal!

L Shead

Absolutely loved this place. Great.food and great service.

Kymistree Of Life

Food was exceptionally delicious! Trying a taste of New Orleans for the first time. We visited here for Christmas vacation and were not disappointed. The wait staff were nice and friendly with great customer service.

Keith Mahome

Nice place was short of help. Get draft beer needs someone to shuck oysters. Hopefully will have better experience next time

Stanley -

Make sure you make this one of your stops for dining when you visit New Orleans. The portions are larger than average and the food is really good. If you like Gumbo, you'll love Pier 424's Gumbo. It's not fishy but you can still taste the seafood. Try the Flambeaux Wings. I must warn you they're hot but delicious! Our Hostess Wanda and Host Daquine are the best! Don't miss out on this gem of a place!

Sergio Brack

All my wings weren't fully cooked. But the ones that were, were very good.

K Lamb

2nd visit and it seemed the kitchen struggled to get our orders correct and/or the food wasnt so good/hot last night. First experience a year ago was much better.

Nellie Bee

I have to say this plqce was a gem. This place came highly recommended from a fellow New Yorker and we agree the food was great. My favorite dish were the crab claws. That is a five star dish. Whatever they use to make the sauce, it tastes AMAZING. I would definitely go back again and again for that dish. The rest of the food was really good as well. The ambience was great. And we had a great view of the scene on Bourbon Street. Customer service was great.

Greg Freeman

Good food good service friendly staff reasonable prices. Veteran friendly good Veteran discount.

Monica Renaye

Delicious food, great service and atmosphere. Loved sitting near window to see street performance!

Unique Abujarad

You will love it here. Do not go during an event or special occasions like essence, bayou etc. You won't get the best service. There is alot of improvement that can be done.

Phillip Scoggin

Awesome food. Awesome bartender. Awesome Chief George.

Shawn Smith

Great place to pick up souvenir or two.

Tracie McGowan

For only 1 server, the service was great.

Ditto Feelings

Was here during essence festival wait was long but food was ok. Love the grilled oysters.

Raymond Rasmussen

Decent food and drinks, poor service even for New Orleans.

Gabi Tellez

Food really was exceptional. Unfortunately for us, our server wound up waiting on a HUGE party of at least 20 people & due to that our service was slow. Right on Bourbon St. with large windows so you can be entertained by people watching. Beautiful restaurant

Natalie Salazar

From the moment we walked in, our service was great! The hostess, the bartender, and the waitress all were very courteous and helpful. The food was so amazing! We had frog legs, alligator bites, oysters, crab claws, crawfish etouffee, gumbo, jambalaya, boiled crawfish, and crab legs. I would definitely recommend it. And I would definitely go back!

Alex Laspinas

Great food. There's a line but went quickly with tables available during lunchtime. Got the shrimp poboys. The fried oysters was awesome.

Kimberlee Shipley

Such a fun atmosphere and free entertainment from the patio. The food was fantastic and our waitress couldn't have been better!

LaTasha Nickle

The service is good. The food is ok, but definitely not the best in New Orleans. It's not as well- seasoned and flavorful as you'd expect from creole cuisine.

Rashard Merritt

Absolutely love this restaurant!!!! Waitress was very friendly and on point.

Anthony Harrell

The service was horrible. A street entertainer with very loud music played right in front of the restaurant and the restaurant left the windows wide open. The cup of gumbo I ordered had one little minuscule sliver of sausage and no chicken. It was simply rice and roux. I ordered shrimp to go with it extra and it was char burnt. I will not ever go back to this restaurant!

Ryan Hunter

Surprisingly good food in the heart of the french quarter. We had great service and the food was really good. Oysters are great.

Shannon Kilpatrick

Food was great! I will definitely return.

Fran Spates

My husband and I enjoyed this place. Claudia was our server and was amazing. We ate there twice during our stay and the food chef George prepared was awesome. Charbroiled oysters were mind blowing; everyone should try them.

Chevon Flores

Food and service was awesome. Bartenders were the best

Ebony Ellis

Great customer service. Food was great!

Sara Burns

Food was FANTASTIC ***** -BUT- service get the 2 stars. Long wait after getting food. Our waitress never checked on our table. Luckily the other waiter was so kind to us. Ate at 9:00 pm and other tables were waiting 30+ mins for food after us. Probably more like $$$ instead of $$.

Tia The Don

The customer service was great, however, the food was completely disgusting. They don’t season their food what so ever. I paid $27 for an unseasoned seafood platter and an additional $7.99 for a bowl of what tasted like gravy mix. Their gumbo is terrible! They totally didn’t taste worthy enough to have a restaurant in the ‘Big Easy’. If you’re going to charge high end prices, then you’ll be expected to delivery high en taste. I won’t be back!

Dave James

The wait to seat was much shorter than other spots in the area. Our service was excellent and the food was awesome! I can recommend the Trio without reservation! Reasonably priced and clean - we will eat here again.

Tiffany C.

By far the worst customer service I have ever had!!! I have been treated so well on my vacation until now!! The hostess was rude when a question was asked and my waiter literally walked off when I was in the middle of a question!! The only nice person I encountered was a lady bussing the tables!! Will never recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy!!

King Dolla

The wings are good just too much sauce

Shannon Cohen

Great Food, Service & it's a Clean Establishment. Going Back SOON.

Anthony T.

The food was good as was the service. The hush puppies were amazing.

Alexander Vonk

Good food in comfortable restaurant for reasonable price. I had the blackened chicken salad. The chicken was very tasty, the salad fresh. Service got a little slow with more customers coming in. The trio which one at our table ordered was not that good, though: not a single piece of sausage in the bowl. Other meals we ordered, blackened fish of the day and blackened shrimp pasta, were good.

Michael Daniel

Love this place, my go-to whenever I have guest in town and they want quality food and drinks!.

kristin nystrom

Everyone I was with loved there food that'swhy I'm eating it a 3 or else it be a 2...However I had to wait 5 mins to get my food.... once I did receive my food it was missing items ...also just as they gave me my food they where rushing us out so they could close...I didn't even have enough time to eat it all before we were ask to leave so they could close up...I gave it to a hungry man on the street which wasn't hard to find one... The whole 5 days I was there I was approached at least a handful of times for money and food ...

Marco Cucculelli

We just choose it for the nice ambient, was a very good surprise, we got the 3 sample soups and snow crab plus half dozen of oyster. The food was outstanding and our waitress Alexa super nice and professional. Fully recommended place.

Jay DeFrank

Ate at the bar, We ordered two dishes with shrimp and the shrimp had a slight odor to it. Was not fresh. Both of us got mildly sick right after. One of the bartenders was good at being attentive, the other was completely disinterested in serving. It’s too bad because the items in the menu seemed good. Just no quality control.

The Alfredo and nola poppers were very bland ,and the waitress was a bit annoying. Kept coming up to me after I already told her I'm fine. But everything else was good. Food presentation was a nice touch. Picked this spot since it was the quietest restaurant on bourbon street.

We were seated immediately but had a bit of a wait to order. My hubby got frog legs and char-broiled oysters. I got crab cakes. The food was awesome and hot! We had a great server also!

Paul Luong

The food are delicious and the place are nice and clean. It's also on Bourbon St and I enjoyed my time at the bar.

They have gone down dramatically since last year now that they are under new management. The service is horrible, staff is very rude, there's excessively long waits for your food, and then the food is not consistent. They have changed some of the recipes for the menu items and the food is not as good. Also they have downsized a lot of the portions, even the drinks. If you visit there stick to fried food only. I got the shrimp and grits and I sat at the bar. The bar was filthy, infested with flies, and after 20 minutes of sitting at the bar waiting I still had not been acknowledged. I had to request service and that the bar area be wiped down. I asked for a cranberry juice which came in a little tiny glass filled to the top with ice. I ordered shrimp and grits which took an hour to receive after constantly asking for my order to be checked on. It finally arrived with a burned grit cake in a watery cheese sauce with two extra small shrimp in it. When I finally could tell my waitress about my dissatisfaction with my order, after she disappeared for 30 minutes and nevet checked on me once, she got an attitude with me. She just gave me my check and walked off. I never saw her again so I had to ask someone else to cash me out. The food was so bad that I couldnt eat it. I left there and got pizza. As much as Im in New Orleans I WON'T return to Pier 424 ever again.

The atmosphere is laid back.I love the French Fries!!! The service was Great! I ordered steamed garlic oysters which were fabulous! It was fun watching the server shuck them while delivering great service.

Tiffany Jones

I had the crab they were tasty,it just wasn't enough

Lori Dohanich

Good food, reasonably priced. I recommend the red beans and rice. The ettouffe is made with a blonde roux and I prefer a darker roux, but it's a personal preference. We eat there just about every time we get to town.

I hate giving a bad review on my first visit but I was a bit let down. The bar smells like old beer, the crawfish lettuce wrap had no flavor and soggy lettuce. Wife ordered calamari and only got about 10 small pieces. I have NEVER seen such a small portion. Please do not use my review as a reason not to go here, but be leary and if your experience is like mine, please let others know. Hopefully this was just an "off " day for this establishment as I will no ill will towards anyone.

Three stars. I was expecting great seafood being on bourbon street. It was ok. The main reason for the star though isn’t because of the food it was because of the long long long wait. I would of understood the long wait if the tables were all full but they weren’t. We had three couples in front of us waiting to be seated and there was numerous of tables that were empty. We kept thinking that the server was going to come get the people in front us every time she walked by but she didn’t. You will see the empty seats in the pictures. The gentleman at the front told us it would be a 30 minute wait it was probably more like an hour wait. Again, the main reason for the three stars was because of this wait. The location was good. The food like I said it was ok. The service from our waiter was good. I will give them another try for sure. Hopefully, it will be better with the wait. Please keep in mind I am not knocking the place the atmosphere and experience was great just again the long wait.

The food was amazing! We had oysters every way they serve them and all of them were great. The corn and crab bisque was phenomenal as were the crab legs.

Samuel Kent

This is the best place to get a Hurricane in New Orleans, hands down.

Tim

I should have listened to the reviews. The wait staff had an attitude. Horrible service. And the food was mediocre at best with premium pricing. I had the gator tail bites and the crab legs. Spent over $60.... not worth it at all. Only place in New Orleans I was disappointed in.

April Collins

The food was excellent and the service was great.

Rachel Willis

I loved the blackened shrimp with jambalaya I got, but my husband's gumbo was not good and came to us lukewarm. The service was pretty terrible... We waited on our food a long time and only ever saw our waitress when we ordered, when our food came, and when we left, even though the restaurant was almost empty. While it was a decent meal, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Carmen Garcia

It was ok service took a while but once they helped they were great, but food was not what we expected ordered a half dozen raw oysters and when it came to table was very messy looking and oysters were small, then we shared the shrimp boil and had so many heads in there which I now know they use to weigh out the lb, corn tasted old as if it had been boiling in that water all day

Brian Mitchell

There this pass weekend for my bday great food and service,,, GREAT shrimp and grits in New Orleans

Dakota Dennis

Food was amazing, price was not terrible, and service was great! We sat at the bar, and the gentleman serving us Monday evening was amazing. He was constantly busy, showed us how to shuck oysters, and was extremely kind. We spent several hours at the bar, instead of going out. That was by far the best time we had on our five day stay. We indulged with the spicy NOLA bites, fried alligator, crawfish queso blanco, and the charbroiled oysters. All great!

Sharon Novak

Food was awesome!! Staff was friendly, atmosphere was quiet. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Tracy Dillard

Food was yummy...lots of flavor! Had the red beans & rice with chicken/sausage. Roomie had gumbo & gator bites. Both were tasty and server was pleasant and provided good customer service. Bathroom could have been a little more tidy but we figured at 1am they may have had limited staff.

Lean Rocchetti

I truly loved this place. Staff is amazing and very polite, and food is incredible. The Creole Pasta is out of this world. It went beyond my already high expectations. Thank you, guys!

Tyler Burger

First time I ate oysters and it was amazing!

Constance Curenton

I had the crab legs for $30. It came with corn and sausage. The meal was seasoned exceptionally well. If you attend during Essence Festival I would advise that you check the menu board outside before you are seated, and prepare to wait at least 30 minutes before you receive your food.

Don Vinson

Good food, a little pricey, but has a great view on the balcony overlooking Bourbon St.

Bonnie Oliver

Great and friendly service. The food was excellent.

Nisey Babe

The food sounded amazing via menu, the hostess was not welcoming at all! The server never made it to our table and we'd been sitting for a while.. when we confronted a manager about it, she then opted to send someone our way, but at that point, we were leaving.. and they weren't even busy! I didn't wanna give a star, but you have to in order to leave a review..

Jon M

Yum. Had the corn and crabmeat bisque and then some crawfish ettouffee.

Anthony Murph

Great establishment, good food, right off Burbon St.

Elisa Smith

Loved this place, it was my first time in NOLA, the crab legs was tender and the pasta was delicious!!

Henry U

Our family enjoyed the food, it was really good. Just a few inconveniences, they were out of some menu items, for example, they were out of corn and ice cream the day we went. Other than that really good place.

Constance Alexander

My first time ordering my first night here. The food was not too bad. I will be exploring for more
