Good food, cool atmosphere. I'd like to go here when they have an interactive art night. Skip the tasting menu and just make up your own. Great creative cocktails, small but tasty beer selection.

Vicente Ramirez

Came here with my girlfriend an hour before closing and the service was still great. The wait for the food was not long either. I would have considered a 5/5 rating, but they don't have a huge selection on dinner plates available. There's a larger section of drinks which is sad.

Chuck Howard

Wild place, great food.

S K

Food was good, and service was all right. While I gave this four stars, it's more like 3.7... Was hoping for a little more out of this restaurant. (There was four of us, and we do a monthly business dinner hitting different restaurants in the West Loop every month.) With that said though, we had a good time, and like I mentioned the food was good.

tanya allen

I love the chefs menu here and also the bourbon old fashions

Catiel G

Goood place for a wedding. They decored the place amazingly, were super helful and always making sure everything went smooth. The staff was super friendly. The place is very very spacious and the art and style is quite pretty and unique. The only downside is that they don't have their own parking lot. Just like most restaurants in the city, you have to find your own.

Chris Hawkins

Small sharing plates, but they will accommodate large groups and course things out for you. Food was delicious!

Chris B

Went on a Tuesday night. It was not busy at all, one of three tables. The food and service was very good. I was just surprised that they were not busier. Might be getting over looked for some of the new restaurants in Fulton Market, but definitely would recommend.

Justin Bobo

Excellent food, friendly staff, great service. Love the ambiance of the venue as well. Highly recommend.

Great vibe ! Good food too. Had a fixed menu as part of an event and it was very well implemented. The bar has good cocktails to choose from.

Very trendy place with good food and drinks, nice private party area in the back

Went early Thursday evening for dinner. Initially quiet, but the room soon filled up. Atmosphere was very nice. Room is very intersting. Raw brick, textural, covered in art. Food was great. Wine selection is very good. Our servers knowledge of the wines was also very good. Mainly small plates with a couple of bigger large options. Really flavorful food pairings. The desserts looked good. But we didn't try them. A great location in Fulton Market to enjoy very tasty food and drinks in cool surroundings. Big recommendation from me.

Rey Colón

Great event space, food and service.

Nic Roth

Fun spot, great cocktails.

Scott Bisighini

Great place to go with a group. Drinks are quite expensive.

Trudy Eisenmann

Loved the Smokin S'more, the artistist displays, would have liked to seen more artwork available. Food was excellent

Jack McGinn

Avant-garde pop art vibe, fine good, great cocktails and a list of any imaginable alcohol. Good for a late night drink or a nice dinner.

I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere seemed great albeit loud. But as other reviewers both here and Yelp have mentioned, this place lacks attentive management and the host seems uninterested in doing his job. We had a reservation for a table and when we arrived there was nobody at the host stand. After tracking down the host, he told us that it was a busy night and we would need to wait about 10 min. This is understandable -- it was Chef's week -- so we grabbed a drink at the bar and waited. 30 min and still no seat, I checked in to see if they had forgotten about us. The host said "no" and that he expected there would be a table in another 10 minutes or so. We waited a little longer and 45 minutes after our scheduled reservation time, we decided to leave. As we were walking out, the host asked us where we were going -- we said to another restaurant -- and she replied that there was a seat open and that they had tried to text. We were confused having not been asked for or given our number to host/hostess. We both took out our phones and neither myself nor my guest had a text from the restaurant. Must have been someone else. I give two stars for the atmosphere and the drinks (tasty and generously proportioned, if a little overpriced), but I cannot give more in light the failure to honor a reservation and general disrespect for our time.

My family and I went there for a birthday brunch, nice looking place. The only problem was I couldn't get any service. The waitress walked past our table so many times without speaking I thought I was homeless. I finally went to the bar and a couple different bartenders just looked at me, and never asked what I wanted. I would have gave this joint negative stars if I could.

Jeff Guerrero

Love the inside of this place - filled with street art from the ground up. They've got a decent selection of cocktails and beers, but I will say it's vibes are definitely more on the "bougey" end of restaurants/bars regardless of their streetart ambiance. They have this delicious St. Germain and Pear Cider drink, and paired with their crispy fries is pretty spot on. They've got 3 separate drinking areas and they're all pretty awesome art-wise.

Eric Fine

There for a private party. Terrific space, with excellent food (beef in particular).

Veronica Padharia

Great food! Very long wait between arriving and ordering but was a wonderful dining experience

Francisco Alberto Cantor Alliegro

Creative dishes and great for groups!

Tony Coppoletta

Cute, well-deserved spaces off a little off the main strip, lots of art, nice crafty cocktails.

Ahmed Abulhassan

Average food. Good decor.

Chris Skender

Cool atmosphere, food was OK

Don Slaboszewski

Awesome atmosphere in an old warehouse with Street art all over and vintage furniture. Creative drinks list, and amazing food. Try the Pig!

Stephanie Stewart

Love this place. Went for my birthday. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Very cool environment and the food was delicious.

Limitless .

Great atmosphere. Dj spinning old school. Good food and awesome service. A must.

Wow! This place is wonderful! It's obviously date night so we decided to go after reading reviews on Yelp. This is the place you'd wanna go for dates. The wait staff treats you so wonderfully. Not to mention the food! My favorites here are the squid ink spaghetti and we had something of the specials. So yummy you can't go wrong here. On top of that they give you an awesome pana cotta.

Kevin Mercer

Overall: Fulton Market Kitchen is a young, hip scene providing uniquely crafted food and drinks at a competitive price melding art and cuisine. Atmosphere: Enter into a hip eclectic open air bar with lighting funky enough to match the music. Feel transported by the bar made of old luggage and craft drinks that will whisk you away to a fond memory. Service: Servers are prepared to provide advanced lectures on anatomy of dishes all while keeping in mind individual allergies and food intolerances. Service was prompt, professional, and personable. Food & Drink: The bar provides a wide array of specialty cocktails all made to order and slightly different each time ordered providing a hint of mystery to each drink. The burrata salad balanced thick goat cheese with delicate arugula and apple generating a unique classy taste. The beef cheeks were prepared to tender perfection and fell apart on the fork before hitting one’s tongue.

Alas--We loved the food; their drinks are spectacular. We chose FMK because we love the atmosphere and it's in my son's neighborhood--perfect for a family dinner of four. However, I the service was in the bottom five of my fifty-five, world-traveler, executive years. We've had a home since 1999 in Chicago. We'll undoubtedly return to FMK--and I'm sure my son, a regular, will fill them in on not just only the lack--but the really snub-level service of the waiter. The table of fun-loving folks next to us actually chose not to stay for dinner due to the waiter and his poor attitude. Others seemed to be caught up in doing interviews for the press or a magazine. FMK--you have such flair and talent; ensure your waiters do as well. We'll be back--but only once more to test.

Rachel Steplo

This is a place you've got to see and experience to believe. I was visiting from out of town and my sister recommended this as a great date night spot that was seriously unlike any restaurant I've ever been to before. Art adorns every inch of this place and all of it is for sale, which is neat because it will forever be changing the already cool atmosphere. Every room is different and the staff here recommends you grab a drink and walk around while you're waiting for your food. Word on the street is they have amazing manhattans here, try one for yourself! When we were there, an artist was painting in the middle of the main room and openly conversing with onlookers about the piece he was producing, how cool! The menu features local and seasonal ingredients, therefor it's constantly changing, which means I gotta come back for more and I can't wait to on my next return to Chicago.

Teodora Szasz

Delicious, but very small plates

Max Hryhorasz

Unimpressed with their prix fix chef's selection @ $75 per person, basically same menu but combined so you end up with too much food and it goes to waste. Drinks were good though...

carla nemiroff

Won't be going back to this place. Hostess wasn't the nicest. Was seated upstairs, waited about 10 minutes for someone to come take a drink order, another 15-20 minutes later we finally got our drinks, my order was wrong - not sure why our waiter didn't write anything down. He offered to fix it but I was afraid he would disappear for another 15 minutes and we were starving and wanted to place our dinner order. He repeated our order back to us (again didn't write anything down.) Came out with 3 burgers and 1 salmon, we ordered 2 burgers and 2 salmon. Didn't comp anything off our check or offer drinks. Brought us a dessert which I know from waitressing forever costs them nothing and we wouldn't have ordered dessert anyway. Not impressed. Food was fine and luckily for us, company was even better so we didn't let it ruin our night.

Christina Dernay

Service was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Staff was very professional. We ordered the "feed me chef " tasting menu and enjoyed a wide variety of delicious creations including gazpacho, fried risotto with an excellent Bolognese, halibut and wild morels, wedge salad, sorbet, stuffed half chicken, venison with blackberry gastrique, seasoned asparagus and carrots with a whipped goat cheese ending with deconstructed pb&j and Smores for desert. The food and it's presentation was incredible and I would happily return on the condition I'm again able to allow the talented chef to direct the meal.

Jarek Moorman

Amazing dining experience. Atmosphere!

mark lewry

Great experience. Food was excellent. Service was good - thanks Andrew!

Prashant Mehta

Great space for a private event, excellent food!

Aditya Bhagat

Very few vegetarian options and I felt unwelcome in a way my request was handled. I think its a decent place if you are a meat eater, but it does not serve vegetarians well.

Michael Smithee

Great sandwiches

Hayden Miller

Interesting, lofty space off the beaten path. Lively atmosphere and a cool menu

jane val

Is it a restaurant? Is it a cocktail bar? Is it an art gallery? Well, it's all three. And the three merge spectacularly in this place. This place is a little hard to get to as the street ends right after the corner where they are located and there is never any parking in this area. Fulton Market kitchen has wonderful art painted on the walls, the seating options available are varied and many, there's something for everyone here. Went to a private event a couple of weeks ago at @fultonmarketkitchen sponsored by @jackdaniels_us We learned how to make a gentleman's sour for #whiskeysourday while nibbling on mini burgers, pulled pork sandwiches and chicken wings. Such a great event at such a wonderful place! Will definitely return here for dinner another day.

Fatima De La Torre

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. The design, the vibes, the service, and the dishes are always perfect. This place is great if you like to look for hip places to experience.

Eddy Ymeri

I visited twice in the same month, both times I had a meat entree. Both times I wasn't happy.

james fredette

Fidel is a very classy individual

Frank Bianco

Great bar and social scene.

Dana Ymeri

Went here last night for Restaurant week with a group of friends. Menu was really disappointing and uninspired, food was cold and my husband's steak was practically raw (mine was medium rare as anticipated). It felt like they had all these "restaurant week" dishes just sitting in the kitchen waiting for customers to order this option.

Niekema Hudson

Much of the food dishes were creative, stylish and delicious. Some I preferred more then others. The service was impeccable. It is a bit pricey for the small portions. The decor is phenomenal. Restaurant and art gallery of sorts. Worth a visit.

Rick Alm

Let's start with the staff, they were great, attentive, friendly but maybe a bit too high touch. It great when you don't have to spend 5 minutes trying to flag someone down but I'd suggest slightly less attention. Food was great and not overly smothered. The seafood dish had a great sauce so grabbed some bread to enjoy. Great light dishes and cocktails. Unfortunately the building is tucked at the end of the street hidden behind two construction sites. Combined that with the fact Google Maps sent me to the wrong place and I can see that you only wind up here if it was your intention not someplace you'd stumble into. It has what I've come to think of as the hipster Chicago Vibe. Outside it tries to play into the construction with huge 'post no bills' as if it's construction site but without confusing for one because of the scale of signage. As you enter it has a mixed speakeasy/library feel to it but once you sit and take a look around you will discover an underlying DC universe theme in its artwork without the feel of an amusement park or Planet Hollywood. If you're in the area and looking to check out a new space drop in for a drink. I doubt you'll be disappointed

C Mink

Very good food and service

Brian Flynn

Great place to eat good price for the value Excellent staff! It was a really busy time when I went in but they were on point.

Jason Wightman

Unique place with something for everyone.

Michael Padua Jr.

just go and enjoy.

Brandon Parrish

Enjoyed our meal. Was not blown away but definitely worth a visit to form your own opinion.

Mohit Maheshwari

Great location but food could be a little less oily. Nevertheless good food.

Clay Goodpasture

Very delicious. Gorgeous restaurant. Wish the main courses were more filling, though

Carla Tanyag

The restaurant has great character.

Deonna Melton

This place is sooo cool, the art on the walls, multi levels for private events, etc., great place. The food was good as well, but I couldn't get over the ambiance.

Jeffrey Chaney

Wonderful farm to table type of experience

Dwain Watkins

Amazing wedding great service and food we had an awesome time

Sara Swinehart

Great decor + interior. Mediocre food + presentation. The person who delivered our $16 crudités plate said one of the items was “beets dipped in milk.” (They were actually radishes dipped in clarified butter) We decided not to stay for entrees.

Katherine Magnuson

I came here recently during restaurant week with a group of 10 friends and had a nice time! This place has a really cute, casual, spunky vibe. I had the salmon for dinner and it was good, but a little under cooked The cocktails were great and so was the dessert! Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would come back here!

Dwayne Corcoran

Very well executed tasting menu with finely crafted cocktails. The space is decorated with a mix of modern and pop art that keeps the environment as interesting as the food and libations.

SkyGong21 .

Delicious.

John Schutze

Hands down the best restaurant in Chicago. I'd highly recommend the "feed me" chef's tasting menu. The scallops were accompanied by delicious picked pears, and the the octopus was amazing, delicate with balanced flavor. Great cocktails and a very artistic vibe. Absolutely worth a fifteen minute Uber from the tourist drag.

i House

This eclectic restaurant has Good vibes! Food was pretty good. Beer was great!

Gladys Montemayor

I recently had hosted a dinner at FMK for the IT Director's of our Latin American offices. I cannot tell you how many of them came up to me personally and told me how great everything was. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. We had a set menu and FMK had special menus printed up with our company logo and that was such a great touch. I had asked them to make sure they could call some taxi's for my group when dinner ended as we had many out of town participants and they said "of course". The events manager, Kelsey was great. I always visit the venues before a final decision is made on where to hold the event and Kelsey was ready to answer all of my questions. The wait staff was very knowledgeable on the menu and drink options. This is a venue we will definitely be returning to in the future!

Ashley Mroz

The “Feed Me, Chef!” option on the menu was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. For two people it was pretty generous in portion size, so it was well worth the money spent. There were little surprises of flavors that popped out when while we were enjoying the meal too, making it a fun experience. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was amazing. The people at FMK went above and beyond to make our time there enjoyable, I would go back in a heart beat!

dragomir tsanov

Food and service-outstanding! We'll go again!

Joseph DeMartin

What a wonderful surprise! Stumbled into FMK after a great dinner and not disappointed. The bartender's knew what they were doing and crafted us fantastic cocktails based on mine and my girlfriend's varying palates. A must visit in Chicago!

ethiene narvaez

Great place, food is amazing, the artwork is awesome too. The ambiance is awesome too. Great signature cocktails. Really love this place. Cannot go wrong with this gem of a joint.

Sara Taylor

Our party of eight enjoyed the appetizers, entrees from seafood to meats

NY Chicago

Very mediocre. Pretentious cocktail list but inconsistent and sloppy execution. Very small plates of food for prices charged. Cool decor but disappointing.

chris lietz

Nice ambiance and artwork. Service is good and thorough, but the food is just ok for the prices. Tiny pieces of beef cheeks as an example just don't warrant the cost.

Stephen Suydam

The food was okay, but nothing to write home about. The price's seemed a bit high. I do have to say that the interior was beautifully decorated. The entire facility seemed like one giant art gallery. The wait staff was very friendly and the bussers were attentative.

Liz Hernandez

Amazing place!!!

Bryce Anderson

More hip than good. It's a LOT of space. If you like drinking in hip warehouse like spaces this is for you

Are Rock_1

Very modern and trendy atmosphere. Food was terrific. If you are a fan of art and food, this is the place for you.

Anna Chmielewska

Great good. Great service. The decor is different but nice.

Ashley Webb

The food is good and comforting.

Nancy Acosta

My holiday party was hosted here. The food was delicious and our servers were very attentive and nice.

Robin Ingram

Excellent food and service. Salmon, Amish chicken and Short Ribs were outstanding.

Thomas Besore

Great ambiance and service during our annual company party here last week. It's a fun place full of interesting artwork, great food and nice drinks!

Daniel Klein

Really fun eclectic space with good food and drinks. Great for groups.

Missy M

This is the first time I’ve ever written a bad review. They clearly don’t train their servers. Every question was replied with “i don’t actually know i have to check.” - “Is this supposed to be served freezing cold?” “i have to check” - the answer was later, no. Ok, she said she would take it off our check. Well it turns out not only did she not take it off our check, but they added a cocktail we didn’t order. The restaurant was not busy and we had to wait forever with empty drinks to be served. The drinks came with the ice level above the liquid... they were very watered down. The food is also very subpar, i can’t understand why anyone would choose to come to this establishment. If you do, EXAMINE YOUR CHECK CLOSELY.

Remys Remedies

Awesome place to be!

Andy Suarez

What an amazing venue. I was here for an event for chefs feed. Different chefs from all over the U.S. Love the decor and art. Such a cool place to check out. Definitely recommend checking it out.

rebecca smith

the food was good but service was bad. we had a server that was very rude her name was jelly. despite her being rude she was annoying. she couldn't explain the menu in detail so we decided to get the feed me. person who brought the food saved the day and explained very well what we where eating. server never came to ask what we need, the person taking the food had to be getting her to tell her what drinks we wanted. ill definitely go back but wouldn't receive service from her.

Andrew Winburn

Love their grilled cheese and tomato soup. Fantastic ambiance and love the service. Great place for a date or with a group

Caitlin Alekna

Great ambiance and delicious food, but lacking in service. The main room is lit in a warm glow with exposed brick walls and mismatching chairs. The lounge, located in the back of the restaurant is dark with big black leather couches and the walls are covered in enlarged cut outs of characters from comic books. Our choices for dinner were as follows. Crispy Smelts, an absolute must for any lover of salty fish and great for sharing. Fingerling Potatoes, a skillet loaded with a creamy sauce results in a delicious take on traditional au gratin potatoes. Grilled Octopus, interestingly prepared with hazelnuts and pickled cauliflower gives your taste buds a roller coaster ride when combined with the smoky char of the octopus. Two Tails, probably the weirdest dish of the night however I am glad to say that I have now tried pig tail (it was good!). The portion of lobster was small but expected for a dish only costing $22. The Lamb entree was my favorite dish of the night. I would describe the flavors (not presentation) as the classiest gyros, ever. The lamb was served as a sliced filet and came topped with tiny cubes of super flavorful cucumbers and crumbled feta. The bright tangy feta served as a great contrast to the to thick cauliflower puree lining the plate. Our final dish was the Suckling pig for two. Huge portion of pig!! I honestly don't even remember what else was on the plate other than a giant hunk of meat. My only criticism of this restaurant was the service. One of our empty appetizer plates sat on our table for the entire dinner. We each had 3 drinks (there were 4 of us) and our empty glasses also remained on the table for well over an hour after finishing them. Bus boys, waiters, and managers all walked past our table numerous times seemingly oblivious to us or our dirty table. I actually ended up having to ask a manager to get our table cleared as we were running out of room! Similarly to the service, the bathrooms were also completely out of toilet paper. I'll cut them a break since this is still a fairly new restaurant but when I go back (and I will definitely go back) I will be expecting better service.

Michael Bradford

Very interesting place to visit, in the heart of the west loop.

Robert Hornbostel

Great atmosphere, great service, bartenders were excited to try new drinks and tweak flavour pallets, would definitely recommend to others.

R R

My first and most likely last time visiting there. Their 9 o'clock halloween event didn't start until about 11pm. Their excuse: The venue isn't't ready, why don't you go to the bar? What kind of sales strategy was that to keep people waiting for 2 hrs.? After the 3 minutes "experience" was over, we were given a drink Tix.. first we went to the main bar then we were told to go to the smaller bar in the back. Okay.. the lady at the small bar did pour the drinks, but called the manager on folks with those tickets and Mr. Manager humiliated us to say the least. If it was for their disorganization or miscommunication with their staff how come attendees have to be treated that way?

Brian Snyder

Beautiful yet comfortable space. Warm and friendly service. The foie ravioli is one of the best dishes I've had this year. Bring a friend and try the suckling pig for two. Fantastic and enough for leftovers that will be excellent crisped beneath a fried egg tomorrow morning. Wildly incentive yet approachable cocktails. Highly recommend!

Chris Dunn

Drink the Beauty School Dropout.

Alex Kemper

Great food and drinks

bimal patel

Awesome drinks and decor

Shannon Sieve

Funky spot in hidden West loop location but annoying hosts... Refused to seat us without a reservation even though restaurant was mostly empty. Good cocktails, fun bartenders. Food nothing noteworthy.

Mario Walker

Awesome food, great atmosphere!

Cody Yettaw

Fulton market kitchen appeared to be a nice place. The decor was fun and different and the warehouse location is unique. With that, there was no a/c for a place lacking windows, my filet mignon was burnt, and the desserts tasted like something off of a cheap Chinese buffet. There are too many good places to eat in Chicago, skip this one.

Malik Bader

Atmosphere Food & Drinks all exceptional. Love the off the beaten path location. Fulton Market needs more of this...

Vincent Caridi

very unique atmosphere. beautiful aesthetics. the waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. delicious and unique food. i will recommend this restaurant to all

Daniel Onuoha

Nice spot! Chill feel and ambiance! Decor great!

Stephanie Ortiz

I picked up a caviar order at 9:48 pm today the order wasn't ready it needed 8 to 10min so i told the guy i would wait in the car the 8min and be back for the order he was such a gentleman and came to the car with the order and great costumer service. Im just upset i didn't get this name because i was just so shocked that he did that and i just kept saying thank you so much because you don't find that great costumer service now and days. So thank you so much to the man who went out his way and didn't have too I appreciate you.

Kyle Dahl

Overall: The hype and ambience unfortunately doesn't make up for some of the restaurants flaws, but it was still great nonetheless. The good: You come in part for the art and ambience, and for the most part it delivers on that front. We did a walk around to see all the cool exhibits there were to see, and not a room disappointed. As for the food, the lamb shank and cheesecake were both standouts. The lamb fell off the bone and seemingly melted in your mouth. The not-so-good: Our waiter was not attentive, helpful, or descriptive about the menu and offerings. Even when we asked, the explanations of dishes left much to imagination. For the quality and size of the plates, if was too expensive. It shouldn't compare to 5 star restaurants. The ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant is great, but our table was right in front, the seats were uncomfortable, and it was a bit disappointing. Atmosphere: 8.5/10 Service: 6/10 Food: 7/10

Monica Bhalla

Beautiful restaurant with high ceilings and various works of art on the walls. We were seated at a high top, however, the stools had no backs to them. Not a problem if you're at the bar, but for dining, this was not very comfortable. We shared the Roasted Beet Carpaccio (oversalted), FMK Fries (our favorite), Grilled Octopus (close second), Grilled Cauliflower (bland), and the Lamb (slightly undercooked for my liking). Presentation was beautiful and portions were just right, but the flavors were just not there. I'll hit up the bar, but pass on the food next time.

Cristina Soto

Such a special experience. Came here for my 5 year anniversary and had such a great time. Our waitress was Michelle she was so sweet and helpful. She gave recommendations and checked on us occasionally. I loved the food and drinks . Thank you for making our night so special. ❤

brie

fun + trendy atmosphere with delicious drinks. great management. you must try it when in Chicago!

Mary Manuel

Ambience was too distopian, food was ok but not great and it was loud.

Osasu Igbinoba

The place is nice and very artsy but I wouldn't come here for the food, definitely for the drinks though!! Really great cocktail choices but a bit pricy. Love the ambience, the service is okay.

Martin Lagler

Great place, good food and love the decor!!!

Luke Panasyuk

Very delicious and bomb dishes. Facts. The design inside is beautiful. My favorite dish was the carrots and burrata/tomato dish.

Jeff Janicki

They did not have the menu essentials, I ordered a martini with blue cheese olives and cocktail onions both of which they do not have available. My martini showed up in a wine glass, I guess they don't own enough martini glasses, with on olive. Slow service, expensive drinks- food was good but it took 3 hours for us to get our meal. If you want good food, decent atmosphere and good drinks for a high price I would go somewhere else that can deliver on all aspects.

Bill Garcia

Great food and drinks, nice atmosphere, good for group parties

Hesham Zakaria

The food was bad - the steak was burnt from outside and cold from the inside, the salad was plain, the salmon was poor, the crab cakes were actually bread cakes, the brussel sprouts were despicable. The servers did not care, and so the service was awful. The bathrooms were only moderately clean. However, the place is beautifully decorated

Christian Picciolini

They opened 2 weeks ago and I hadn't expected them to have it fully together by now, but they did. My wife and I loved the food we had. We started with the beef tartar and it was very good. Not all the bread was toasted though. The suckling pig for 2 followed. It was delicious! Really very good, but not for 2. It would have been a great entree for one. So we kept ordering food. We next had the grilled octopus and it was pretty good. Not as good as Vera down the street. We also ordered the 2 Tails item, which is pig tail and a lobster tail. This was also very good. We ended with the dessert. Chocolate mousse on a chocolate cake crust. I'm not a dark chocolate fan but I enjoyed it. My wife and I both had 2 drinks each, I had the Beg Borrow and Steal which is tequila and some chile and a fruit juice. This was excellent! I had 2. My wife loved her drinks too, the Old Fashioned and the 8th Ward. The bill was $150, which considering we had 4 drinks, was not much. We'll go back. Great addition to the neighborhood. The art and decor is fantastic too!

Avery Tipre

Had a fabulous time here with my best friend! Our server was Andrew, and he was phenomenal. Would come back here just to have him as our server again! On top of all that the food was delicious. We had the Brussels and burrata, cauliflower, asparagus for apps. My friend had the burger and I had the scallops. Will be back! Love you Andrew!!

Katrina Ta

Great little place. You're eyes will be as entertained as your mouth. Food was good, not my favorite burger in Chicago, but easily overlooked by the art abd decor. I'll definitely be back

Had worst experience last night. After waiting for more than an hour one of the staff member came to us and said we just checked, your order is not ready yet so do you want to wait for another 20 minutes or want to cancel the order. Seriously worst staff service. I would strongly recommend brown and black people not to visit it as they give priority to only white people.

Having hosted the Galantis intimate dinner is a proud achievement let alone the staff being the best of what I have experienced. The "Ice Skater," was beyond sub-par in the industry. She is above yhe industry Her, paired with meeting Galantis, along with our sexy bearded male gentleman happy hour bartender (he was wearing a white button Down), made this intimate dinner a highlight. One day. Soon. One day.

I don't know how I feel about Fulton Market Kitchen. The food is delicious and unique, as are the cocktails, but the crowd is pretentious and, to be frank, douche-y. We had reservations at 7pm on a Friday and we were seated at one of the high top tables in the middle of the big first room. As the night progressed, the area got louder and busier with the crowd overflowing and consuming the area around our table. It made an intimate dinner difficult as we were all yelling to converse with one another in our party of four. We decided to order an array of items to split between us. Some of the memorable items were their sweet breads, grilled calamari, and grilled cauliflower for starters. We also split the burger (delicious and unique) as well as the lamb (very small portions). Our waitress was attentive and enthusiastic, which was great. The cocktails were also very interesting. They had a balance of classic cocktails vs new creations, as well as some variations of adult rootbeers. There were some spicy cocktails that stuck out to our group, and I'd go back to have a drink at the bar on an off night. The atmosphere and decorations are interesting, and a trip to this restaurant is valid solely on the artistic allure.

Fulton Market Kitchen is a terrific restaurant just of the beaten path in the West Loop. It is easily missed but is a funky, comfortable restaurant with great food and ambiance. Maggie, who served its, was also excellent. The other restaurants in the neighborhood get the traffic but this place needs to be discovered.

This place was fantastic! My group enjoyed our food. The pork shoulder was to die for and priced well for the portions. If you're looking for a fun and "unexpected" night out, this may be the next place you'll want to visit.
