Corals 4 cheap is hands down the best place in the valley to get corals and fish! I have a saltwater 225 gallon reef aquarium and I get everything I can from here. I also have them come to the house to service the tank every 2 weeks. They are really great about changing filters, cleaning the skimmer, adjusting flow, lighting, and checking the water chemistry. It's a great piece of mind to me that they see my tank 2x a month so if something does goes wrong they already know me and my tank. All of my corals are thriving and they all came from here. My favorite thing about C4C is that, if you dont see the fish you are looking for at the store just let Josh know and he can order it for you! I love this store, I spend way too much here, but I wont go anywhere else.

josh the owner is amazing im setting up my first saltwater tank and i could not be more happy with him and his staffs help as i ask a lot of newbie questions. this store is also very nice looking with lots of great fish and corals. i have to say the lay out is great and its a very clean well lit place to look around. and i have not even mentioned the prices those are great to. if your looking for a nice store with great knowledge, great prices, and clean this is the place for you thanks so much for your help so far

I came out to Idaho from Ohio on business and found the best place to buy corals! If you are into saltwater aquariums you need to stop in and talk to Josh!! The place is awesome, great selection, awesome customer service, and they have the best prices!! I will order my corals in the future from Josh and have them shipped to Ohio!! They seem to have a wide variety of coral but I also noticed aptasia in many of their tanks when I was there last. I don't know that I would call their coral prices "cheap" but they are right in line with other sellers in the area.

Great experience with josh!!!! I’ll be honest, I’ve been to a few fish stores in town and I’ve really had to push them to help me which should never happen to a customer wanting to learn more about the business and marine life....we walked in and josh welcomed us and made us feel comfortable. This is the only local fish store in Southwestern Idaho that deals exclusively with marine environments and specializes in corals. The store is owned and operated by an aquarist with decades of experience. It is conveniently located in heart of the Treasure Valley at 2210 N Meridian Rd, Meridian, ID 83646. It offers a wide assortment of corals, fish, accessories and deals with new and used aquarium equipment. If you are looking for something or seeking advice for something, they will make every effort to find it for you or help you. Prices are very reasonable and often beat out other fish stores and online vendors. Fish and corals are generally healthy and in good shape and the tanks are well maintained (other aquarium stores could learn a few things about tank maintenance from these guys). You can get RODI water from them for free or Saltwater/RODI pre-mix for 75 cents a gallon, which is a great option for folks who don't want the hassle/cost of setting up an RODI system of their own and mixing their own salt. My brother didn't even have experience with a freshwater tank and started his very first aquarium with a 36 gallon saltwater tank, but the owner Josh patiently guided him throughthe steps to get set up and running. All in all a great store that feels more like a collection of hobbyists who share experiences with each other rather than someone just trying to sell you something.

My wife and I have a 16 gallon cube and were looking to get a small colorful fish to add to our collection. We had two red blennys, 2 clowns, and a Bengaii cardinalfish. We were looking for a royal gramma because of the color. I found a fish at Corals 4 Cheap that looked almost identical to a royal gramma but Josh told me it was something a little different (a Royal Dottyback) but that it would be okay to add to my tank. I trusted his knowledge of the fish and did not do my own research after the fact. 10 days later I have a dead blenny and had to take the fish back to a different store because it was starting to pick on my other blenny. After doing my own research when I found a dead blenny, it says the Royal Dottyback is inch for inch one of the most aggressive fish species and will kill fish up to 3 times it’s size. Had I not taken it out when I did, my whole tank could’ve been dead. Needless to say, I will not be going back. I am very new at saltwater tanks and I want to go somewhere where I can trust the experts to tell me what I need and not just try to get the sale. Very unhappy customer.

Great selection of corals and fish but we bought a powder brown tang from them about a week and a half to two weeks ago and the night we got it we noticed it had one cloudy/blind eye and was running into everything then a few days later turns out it had advanced stage of ick and is now dead. Really upset about this and that we exposed our other fish to him. Last time we were in a few days ago they had a tank with 2 dead fish in it. This will be the last we ever purchase from this place.

The staff and owner here are so helpful and nice, I have to admit I was a bit suspicious. Being brand new to the hobby, I would make an easy mark. But they have gone above and beyond to get me set up with all the right stuff and some affordable coral pieces to really make my tank something special.
