We've got the reviews of people who used the services of Young\'s Fish Market (Fish Shop) in the state of Hawaii.
As of day this firm has a score of 4.4 stars over 5 and this rating has been calculated on 303 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is very high, and it's founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the assessment is quite accurate. If people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to give feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Fish Shop belongs to the category of Hawaiian restaurant.
Very friendly owners and fabulous food!
Great fish!
Best jumbo shrimp I have ever bought!
Best lobster rolls on the Cape!
fresh lobster roll & clam chowder
The young lady that worked in here was simply awesom, i would strongly recommend this market to anyone, great service and great food....
Best lobster roll on the planet
BACK AGAIN YEAR 2. OUR FIRST STOP ON OUR VACATION. AGAIN COULDNT BE BETTER.
Don’t think we’ll go there any more (Kapolei). We were very disappointed to get there, order, pay, sit down to wait for our food only for the them to tell us that we needed to make another choice because they had no squid Luau. Hello, they should of told us that before we ordered & paid as thats the reason we went there in the first place for their squid Luau. Further more their prices are high but I was willing to pay for some squid luau. Poor service. Also no poi. Can get poi at a grocery store next time or go to Highway Inn.
Good bento. Has mini laulau and Kalua.pig.
They fast and friendly. Food tastes great. Very moist and flavorful.
Originally from Oahu and was visiting home with my fiance. This is our go to spot when coming home. I love the local Hawaiian food they have to offer! The laulau, Kalua pig, lomi salmon and pipi kaula is so yummy! You can't forget to grab some haupia too! We will definitely be back to visit and get some more on our grindz.
Always filling! Can you say turkey tails?!!
Best Turkey Tail and Hawaiian food for great prices and always fresh.Poke and other people local foods.Good for take out if tired to cook after work.
Pretty good deal for Hawaiian food
One of the best for Hawaiian Food and Poke.
My family's go to place for Hawaiian food! We LOVE Young's Fish Market. Authentic, family-run, good food, you can't go wrong!
Best Hawaiian food in Kapolei!!!
Always the best hands down best lau lau on the island delicious food excellent service warm atmosphere
Local Hawaiian food, ample parking in the area.
A great blend of local kine grinds .The pastelle was so good on top of the plate, I'll be back.
This was my first time trying here. The service was friendly, staff were very helpful and patient while I tried to decide what to order. I ordered ala carte Kalua pig and kulolo by the lb., a pork laulau, some poi, lomi lomi salmon, pastele, sweet potato and hauula. It's a little bit pricey but I wasn't disappointed! Everything was soooooo good! I'll definitely go back again. I live in town, gonna try the Kalihi one next.
Food is great. Staff quick and friendly. And has AC!
Don't let the name deceive you. This is a true hole in the wall for Hawaiian style plate lunch. I gave this 3 stars because the lau lau was a little under seasoned for my taste. Moderately priced for what you get. They have regular sized plates and then they have mini plates for a little cheaper.
Ono . Kine . Hawaiian . Food . Try um ...
Why go to a Luau when you can get better food here for much less money. For over forty years I have been going here for my Hawaiian food when I go to the islands. One mainland Haole that likes all of the local food.
The very best laulau around! Never disappointed!
Great food - got the combo plate. Laulau/kalua pig. ( Kinda expensive ) meal can be shared for 2.
Good pork, the place is a little bit warm though
The best hawaiian food on the island.
Love the food here! Kalua, lau lau, squid luau and turkey tails are my favorites!
Good food great service
Eat and believe. This is Hawaiian food. Enjoy and we try to go here every time we visit.
Really good! Wonderful service and very nice.
OK Hawaiian food but too much styrofoam & single use plastic.
Fast and friendly of course ONO kind grinds
Awesome Hawaiian Plates
Staff is super patient while 5 people trying to make decisions. Laulau pork was very good and Lomi salmon was great, similar to ceviche. Decent prices.
Food is always good. Enjoyed the squid luau for lunch so much I bought extra to bring home for the wife. The haupia was Oh so good I at 3 pieces. Lol
Da best Hawaiian food, the lualua's are big!
The best local Hawaiian food in Honolulu.
Ordered ala carte and the food was good
Great customer service and fantastic tasting Hawaiian Kalua pig plates and laulaus! Go early...they have Poke bowls! Yummy, yummy for mt tummy!!
great local food restayrant to share with visitors from the mainland...I always bring my visitors here so they get to experience our culture and our good food. Only in Hawaii is where you can taste the best food ever..
Over looks rock harbor and great fresh fish
The freshest fish. A great lobster roll at a good price.
This place has changed my life. Amazing lobster, blue fish to die for and the best service that I have experienced in America to date. If you are after fresh fish and lobster just head here!!! Thank you!!!
Great lobster!
If you like a lot of mayo on your lobster roll and untoasted white bread roll, this is a good stop.
Freshest Lobster roll on the Cape. It's seasonal and only takes Cash but well worth it.
I used to heartily and frequently recommended Young's as the best lobster roll deal in town - for 2 reasons. They always had the best price and their lobster rolls were full of meat, with just enough mayo to hold it together. Well, I just came by for my first roll of the season. They are up to $12 now and have way to much mayo. I'm not particularly fond of mayo; I don't want to taste mayo- I want to taste lobster. This is just ok now, just like everyone else's. There are several places around still where you can get a decent lobster roll for $10. (I'm not talking about sit-down restaurants; that's another story.) If you like a lobster roll with lots of mayo, you'll be happy here, but I'm sad to abandon Young's as my lobster roll go-to spot.
Too expensive
Always the same...ono!
Very popular local place for local food. I went for the butterfish Lau Lau. It was definitely tasty and the fish bones melt in your mouth, so no need to pick out any bones. I enjoyed it, but it's very different than the misoyaki butterfish that I was looking for. So, if you don't like the fish taste, then there are plenty of other food that they offer on the menu and not just seafood.
Food is ok service is kinda fast. How can a Hawaiian food place don't have poi only rice. That was disappointing.
Great local Hawaiian food!
An out of the way place to get traditional Hawaiian food.
Great service all the time!
This place is way "BETTER " then HIGHWAY INN
Great hawaiian food.
Broke da mouth! I had the pork lau lau combo plus a hot pastele and hawaiin salt with maui onion. Plus one extra bowl poi. And I'll do it again, and again and again! Mahalo Young's for filling my fat opu!
Always good to support small local businesses. Family restaurant great Hawaiian food and very helpful staff. I don't always eat Hawaiian food but when I do I go to Young's Fish Market.
Food is so ono! Great for on the go or sit in. Real Hawaiian grindz. Right across kam bakery and other great foods. Definitely a must when heading back to the airport or in the area.
Omg... the FOOD here is SoOooOooo ONO!!! & the portions is even better!
Went here because of the line up at Helena's. Must say that the Kalua pork here is really tasty! I was pleasantly surprised when ordering the Kalua Pork platter because it gave me a taste of different Hawaiian food all in one.
Ordered Pipikaula, chicken long rice, squid luau, butterfish laulau. Food was excellent but kinda expensive. Total came out to about 90. Would give 5 stars if price was lower.
Good local food and poki. Prices could be better though.
Excellent Hawaiian Food
Love the food but not great organization for the lines. Kind of waited for a while too because not enough people to work the counter.
Always a necessary lunch choice, especially for fish laulau...simply the best!
For the Hawaian experience, a must try.
The lau lau is ono... the char siu and char siu ribs are the bomb... the turkey tails are onolicious... the people are nice and friendly...see Dez or Gerald...
Good Hawaiian food
Kalua pig, Great. Lau Lau, even better . Good fast food and service, at reasonable pricing and big portions. It always tastes amazing and the service is always spot on. If your in Kalihi, you'll definitely wanna swing by. If you're craving some good , cheap Hawaiian food but not nearby, MAKE THE TRIP it's one of those places that's not too popular but definitely should be. We're at least monthly if not twice a month visitors.
Best laulau in town- Want fresh made laulau? Luau leaf still green(not overcooked green/black) and not salty. Tasty!
Everything Hawaiian food that you ever want is there!!!
Yummy char siu.
Did not get to experience because everything I tried to order from the menu, was frozen at 5pm.
My favorite Hawaiian food
Best Hawaiian food
The Best Hawaiian Food, Ever!!
We're here when we want take out Hawaiian food or when we're going to visit family in Henderson NV! Soooo ONO and everyone's so nice! Maybe we'll get some Hawaiian tomorrow.....
Best Hawaiian food on the island. Legendary Lau Lau and Turkey tails!
Great place to eat at especially if you want some Hawaiian food
Great food. Line moves slow during lunch time but it's not the staff's fault.
Good Hawaiian food, Lau Lau, kailua pig, very tasty.
Best Hawaiian restaurant on Oahu to me!!!!!
Cute shack by the water, inexpensive lobster roll, simple and good! Also, got the tuna on a roll and that was delish. No frills. Picked up a artisan cheesy bread too. Take out only, but bring a blanket and sit and enjoy the water near by. They also sell lobster by the pound and will cook and crack it at no extra cost.
can't go wrong g here with these lobster rolls, make sure you bring cash. The lobster rolls go for $13.00 a pop and no they aren't massive but they aren't small either... packed with flavor hand picked never frozen lobster never tasted better!
Fantastic smoked fish. The bluefish is great and the salmon is incredible. Try their lobster rolls too - very generous and tasty.
Lobster rolls!!
Awesome experience!! Was just sightseeing and stopped in wasn't expecting to get anything but got the lobster roll, first time eating a lobster roll had nothing to compare it to but it was the best!! Thanks to the young lady that was soo nice! You made our day
No frills shack. Great lobster roll and Clam chowder. Pick your own lobster and they'll cook it for you if you want to wait
Not recommend. $12 for a lobster roll, but you have to navigate through shells while you eat. They advertise fresh seafood, but many items were out of stock for the second time this season. Don't waste your time.
Awesome Lobster Rolls & Fresh Fish
Consistent ono Hawaiian food.
Awesome, authentic food, friendly staff. If you're craving Hawaiian food this is the spot.
Young's Fish Market was really good! Kind of expensive but they give a lot of food. We had the pork lau lau with kalua pig. It was so delicious! I have enough for another meal! Staff is friendly and helpful too!
We had the mini laulau plate and it was fabulous!
Bestest Laulau in town
Love the Hawaiian food. Shoyu Ahi bowl with lomilomi salmon and squid luau. Soo good!
Customer service is not the best especially if its your first time and not quite sure how to order. Food is good not great.
Food is always terrific
One of the best Hawaiian take out on the island...they have seating if you want to eat in. Good quality food and efficient friendly staff. Get a plate and add some sides...pipikaula, haupia, Maui onion. Yum!
Food was excellent. Prices reasonable. Fast service. Friendly staff.
Best Hawaiian food on the island of Oahu.
Beef Lau Lau is unbeatable.
Young's fish market not very large wonderful Hawaiian food very local vibe just what I like
Great attentive staff and ono food. Large portions for under $15.
Love it Awesome Hawaiian food oh and the turkey tails and char siu is the best
Great local spot for Hawaiian Food.
This is my favorite Hawaiian food restaurant. Laulau is always fresh and yummy.
I have been to this market since my youth. Always a joy to return when I get home! I still remember the days they were at Liliha Street.
Best Hawaiian food ever Aloha
This local iconic establishment harkens back to the old days with authentic Hawaiian and local cuisine. From traditional Hawaiian fare like lau lau, kalua pig, lomi salmon, poke, and much more to local favorites like beef stew and pasteles, this place can't be beat. You can choose to eat in or take out. Parking can be busy so be patient, because the food is worth the wait.
Few places left that serve decent Hawaiian food. Good variety of plates and many choices of add-on sides. The roasted turkey tails are excellent and run out quickly. There is a smaller combination plate that has both a serving of Kahlua pig and a smaller laulau, for those who cannot finish the large combo plate.
A little on the pricey side but food is good. Big portions. No longer live on Oahu but every time I visit, first place I go to.
Could be alot better, the laulau is good. Lots of room for improvement.
Love the food. But the dine-in area could use an upgrade with the holes in the seats and all. Other than that, it was good.
Ono local/hawaiian made food. Laulau, poke, kalua pig, haupia & then some, all made daily. Winnahs for the friendly service
Always goos
Love the food, the people are nice, and they're on my way home from work. My family Loves Young's Fish Market!
Awesome Hawaiian food
There open until 8pm mon-fri if you like Hawaiian food and want to take out this is the place to go they also have and realy good char sui ribs and on mon- thr they have chicken Laulau pork is served every day and on fridays butter fish laulau...
Delicious Hawaiian food
I'm not much into seafood so the smell alone threw me off. I tried the kahlua pig and that was good
Delicious poi and lau lau. Can't wait to go back.
Best Laulau on the island - big chunks of pork and fish, and super tasty taro leaves. My go-to spot after I get off the plane in Honolulu.
Good food
Just arrived off the plane and hubby longed for Laulau. 3 of us had Laulau Combo Plates and 1 had Oxtail. All enjoyed!
I could not believe how good and huge their laulau was. Good friendly staff, will definitely be going back again
Whenever I come back home to Hawaii to visit I always stop here, love the Lau Lau and kalua pig. Broke da mout.
Lau lau was ok, kalua pig was dry, pipikaula was tough, tomato in lomi salmon was mushy & watery but the poi was ono.
Tried the pipikaula not quite what I'm used to, but it was good.
One of the best local restaurant in the island for a quick grinds of da kine genuine Hawaiian plate lunch. I fave is the Butterfish Lau Lau, Lomi lomi, and poi. Fast, courteous friendly local kine folks who make sure you get the best kine service.
Pricey...
No air conditioning, cash only, lobster did not taste the freshest, coleslaw was flooded with mayo, it tasted sickening. The best part was water with lemon to drink. The Knack's lobster roll was prepared better with chives & tasted fresh!
A must stop and see every season visiting friends. Fabulous lobster roll and reasonable fresh catch. East your roll by the water or walk down to see the famous coast guard rescue boat used in the movie with Chris Pine = The Finest Hour
Can't beat a $12 lobster roll. Delicious and plentiful with claw and tail meat.
A great local place. The lady working there spent time showing our kids the lobsters and how to put them to sleep. It's a perfect place when you need a break from the Stop and Shop. Friendly people both times we were there. She also had some free shrimp cocktail, but don't tell her dad. ;)
Fresh fish right off of the chartered fishing boats.
Great lobster rolls!
We live in bossier city Louisiana and order from time too time ! Always always very happy with the Ono food.
Ono food, consistently good quality
Best tasting laulau around...
Huge, tasty portions! Delicious!!! Squid luau needs to be a little sweeter with coconut milk!!!
My dad ordered the laulau plate, I got sweet potatoes + pipikaula (WHICH IS SUPPPPER AMAZING!!!!!! I loved it much more than I did last year when we came) pasteles + squid luau. Squid luau was a bit watery to me but I still enjoyed it, pasteles were bomb & I love sweet potato they were perfection! My dad loved his laulau plate! Next time I'm def gonna try.
Da Best In KALIHI
Great HAWAIIAN food and awesome service
The food is so good that is why they are known as the best! Kalua pork was perfect and the laulau was so good I almost lost my mind and the poi was so good even though I'm picky about which poi I like everything was beyond satisfaction per usual!
Best place for Lau Lau Plate. Feed you for lunch and dinner. Must go.
Food was Delicious! Portions are huge. Sufficient & Satisfied! Would recommend Youngs for your Hawaiian Food Cravings and more
Good Hawaiian Food!
Everything is Awesomest!!
Went to this place for dinner 6:45 N the staff let us in helped us to select our meal...pretty fresh n Good! N we were there till 7:30 N they closeted at 7pm. The staff wait for us to leave before they leave...Good people..
Good food but parking Sucks!
Ono food, worth da prices, enough to have for another meal.
Close to down town. Food was okay. A little bit pricey for the quality and quantity
Come in hungry, leave happy
Best Hawaiian food
The docent at The Mission House Museum recommended Young's. It's a bustling local eatery outside of the tourist zone. The laulau and poi were excellent.
Ono laulau tasty and moist. Turkey tail was ono
Roasted Turkey Tails!
Wide variety of hawaiian style food. Discount offered to military, seniors law enforcement and fire dept.
The Kalua pig was outstanding! The new bento box is a great sampler and is very filling.
Real awesome Hawaiian food and a bit of a throwback to the old days as well, been going there for years and never been disappointed, check them out.
Best laulau
Good Hawaiian food! Laulau's always fresh
Wasn't the best Hawaiian food and expensive too!!
Best Hawaiian food! Especially the laulau...too bad getting expensive!
The food is always delicious, fresh and hot (or cold as it should be served). As much as Laulau, lomi salmon, kalua pig and all the traditional Hawaiian foods are things I should not be eating, they are nice things to treat yourself to after a tough week.
Very filling need pillow when pau kaukau
Best Hawaiian food! I just love this place!
Beef stew was Ono!
Our number place for ♡Hawaiian Food♡, we luv their Lau Lau, Kalua Pig, Long Rice, Poi, Boiled Peanuts, && can't forget about the raw Onions, yummy for our tummies!!! My Hubby also enjoys their ☆Poke☆ too
Food there is very expensive. Flavor of some items were really good. Like the Chinese style roast pork, the squid luau and the lomi salmon. The haupia, which went for $9.50 was tasteless. I will definitely be more careful of what I pick next time. Oh, yah, haupia, lomi salmon, a small squid luau, roast pork and a little container of poi came to $49. and change.
They have a good variety of fresh Fish, stop by sometime .
