This Fish Shop belongs to the category of Market.
Great customer service, prices, and the quality of the food excellent.
The best fresh fish you'll find! My favorite affordable store.
Fresh fish. Small but top quality products.
Great local small market with so many choices
Always a great place to get seafood. The people are really friendly and everything is fresh
I always go to Tamashiro Market when I'm in the mood to steam fish. Yesterday was a bit different. I decided to get several lbs of clams on top of fish to steam. Drunken clams cooked in sake and Chinese style steamed fish. It was a night to remember!! Back to Tamashiro Market. The service was quick and they were very curtoius and professional. 2 thumbs up for cleaning the fish for me!!!!
Good fish there
Fresh poke, fish and seafood for great prices.
Amazing staff, service and of course poke!
Great place to find high quality seafood. You can find both good deals, as well as some select gourmet ingredients. Highly suggest you check this place out at least once a week to see what they're stocking.
Best Uhu fish
Memories of my childhood
Fresh and buttery ahi and salmon poke. Ample parking at church lot next door for up to 30 minutes while shopping. Double check amount of fish matches what you asked for. Asked for 1/4 lb and got 1/2 lb. Good selection of fish though.
Fresh Fish, but you need green bait.
This is an iconic fish market. The poke and seafood selections are excellent.
Fresh seafood with reasonable price!!We now go there every week!
When im feeling sentimental, i head to this historical local fish market. On my last visit i left with some butterfish belly and some menpachi. And it was (better than) good...
Fresh delicious poke can be purchased here.
Everything is the best that you can find .
Best choices for fresh seafood
Always busy. Fresh fish and produce. Reasonable prices for the quality.
I love this fish market , the staff is fast and friendly . Price is fair and will always recommend it to anyone .
Came here for black cod to make misoyaki butterfish. They only had it in the freezer, no fresh caught was available, but it tasted delicious!
I wasn't completely impressed. Opted for the ahi bowl with sushi rice and it was mediocre. Noticed the place isn't the tidiest either. Insect/arthropod traps were visible as well as what was caught.
THE BEST quality fish in Oahu, much better Tuna than Kahuku Superette!!
Great seafood store and more
The amount of fresh seafood offered was amazing. Biggest assortment I've ever seen. Fresh and delicious!
Friendly employees, good selection of food (hot/cold), busy around Lunchtime and just before closing.
Great selection and nice people. If you're visiting the island, this is the spot for fresh fish. If you live here, than you already know
Best place for seafood and pupu items to eat. Next need to try hot plates.
great place for seafood. it's my go to for fresh ahi and hamachi. gotta support the small business.
This is a good old fashioned fish market with a variety of seafood items. The best tako poke IMO
Bought bacalao and kulolo. A small piece of Bacalao fish pricey and the Kulolo same. The store carried variety of fish, seafood, ingredients and spices.
Fresh ahi, and other seafood. Sashimi super fresh at reasonable prices. Premium ahi at about $22.00 per pound, compared to Los Angeles prices of $39.95 or higher per pound, and not as fresh as Hawaii. There are lower grades of sashimi, but we splurged and got the top grade.
Local sense is very strong Because it is a fish store in the city, it has strong fish odor A lunch box where you can choose a side dish is recommended. Apart from the smell of the shop, it is very delicious
Tight fit, but some of the freshest catches you'll find in the area.
Great poke selection by the half pound.
Great little Jewel in the middle of nowhere. Thanks to my friend that took me there it's no longer a place that I just pass by.
My favorite Fish and lunch Store
The poke so ono! It's so fresh, check it out!
The best and freshest local fish if you don't catch your own.
Anything to do with eating fish can be found here. They can suggest what you should buy....and clean it too. This is a historic local place.
Good seafood store. Lots of fresh seafood. Lots of different varieties of poke
Luv their poke styles
Great local spot for fish. Lots of whole fish options for culinary tourist and locals. Team will clean and help prepare. Will return.
Local fish market, very fresh poke
They have a wonderful selection of fresh seafood, spices and veggies! The owner is very friendly and more than happy to help with anything you need!
Great place to get fresh fish and ti- leaves.
Fresh seafood. If they don't sell it nobody else does. They even sell Samoan crab.
Love the poke
They buy from local fisherman and the auction and most of there fish is fresh (not previously frozen with cm)!! Parking is tight but no worry, drive around couple times!
Great local place for fresh seafood.
Fresh fish every day you gotta go early.
Fresh, delicious poke. My favorite was the tako onion poke, which says a lot since I'm usually ambivalent about it. Bonus: they had cooked yellow yam for $4.25/lb. We got there close to closing so the selection was limited. We definitely plan on going back earlier in the day.
Really helpful service buying fish to make poke for visiting Tokyo friends! Mahalo server Justin and Team Tamashiro Market!
Special place for a great variety of seafood.
Great poke place everything is amazingly fresh!
Fresh not frozen fish! Many choices of FRESH POKE! live Maine lobsters, rock, Samoan, Dungeness crabs! Even abalone, opihi, fresh scallops, ready to eat fresh deep water ama' ebi Hawaiian shrimp! They have (call on availability) FRESH Ahi, ono, monchong, salmon, naraigi, shutome, butter fish! And many more!
Great place for seafood. Also, good prices
For all our Hawaiian Food cravings!!! ✌️
Great fresh seafood
Idrive from waianae or for that fish and makaha all the way to kalihi for the fish at tamashiro market fish is that good ok unreal
Guy was personally able to secure this 28 pound yellowfin tuna for me at an incredible price. It's always luck of the draw because you never know what the fishing boats are going to bring back in but call a few days early and see what might be available. Strongly recommended to be in contact with tamashiro Market before just going down.
A place for fresh prawns
I went to get fresh poki, and it was good!
Best sashimi I've had, at amazing prices
One the best places to get fish
Awesome place to get whatever you want
We came here to buy I think Sunday is not s good day as they were mostly depleted. But we did buy some shrimp, fish and limpets.
Did not have cooked kumara they used to have so we didn't buy the poke
Good selection of reef fish and always fresh
Great local seafood market. They always have fresh fish and great poke.
Their poke is delish!!
I live the fresh fish and poke everything is great hear and I keep coming back for more
Poki way too ex. Pensive
They always have any kind of seafood here. There carbs are the best
Never mind the fish smell. Get what you need and get out. For me I walk through the vegetable aisle and go to the back and find the freshest and tastiest raw fish (Poke) recipes ever!!! Dont be scared of the Nairagi (marlin poke), or the Aku (Tuna) Poke. If you are bold try the Ake (smashed fish poke), If you are lucky to try there for lunch the Hawaiian plate featuring kalua pig, rice and choice of poke. Under $10.00 the last time I ate lunch there... if it's a dollar more than its worth it. Grab a can of lilikoi juice at the cashier booth. And dont forget to ask for chopsticks, napkin or fork from him/her. Aloha.
Love TP3.. it's very clean and very friendly.. staff people are nice. My kids love coming here because of the board games and boba.. thank u TP3
Best pike in Hawaii

Good fish. Cheap bananas.
Very good Customer Service also alot fresh sea food n local food..
Fresh Seafood selections. Love the poke.
Love to buy fish and veggies
Very fresh fish and their sushi rice is quite good.
Quaint little shop with good Poke. I like that the flavours of the fish and seafood really stand out instead of the selected dressings. You can buy ice and a cooler box to keep the food cool if you are travelling around.
Best fish ever
Old fave
Great seafood and frest vegetables. A little expensive but great quality. The will clean, scale and cut your fish for u. Free
Best poke on the island! The madako is crazy good! Their shoyu is also son ono on the ahi onion poke.
they have the best poke around also that mochi thing in the tea leaf so good there
Best fresh fish!
Best place to buy Oysters and seafood. I live Waipahu, but i still drive here for seafood.
They have fresh everything.
Good fish
Lots of seafood choices. Many types of fresh fish. You can get frozen crawfish or alligator meat too.
We love the fish and produce there. We stop by every chance we have.
The seafood is really fresh. Only thing is the parking lot is small. Your allowed to park across the street at the church if need be.
top quality, fresh seafood. this place is an institution. they sell an assortment of poke, dried fish, fresh fish (local and freshly shipped), limu (seaweed), produce, and more. some of the seafood is so fresh it's still alive when you buy it.
Fish for low prices. Black meat if you catch em at the right time. And other local stuff.
Awesome service with a smile!
Ahi was the best of the trip. Poke was okay. You'll love it if you like sesame oil... sadly I do not. Still enjoyed by my group though
Before visiting Hawaii coming from the Mainland Northern Cal. I was referred by my coworker who grew up in Honolulu. He said make sure to go here for some Poke'. Sure Enough that's what I did. I ordered the Onion Poke. It was to die for. No wonder this place had been around forever. I know Foodland and others serve Poke' . I believed this is the best place to satisfy your crave.
I've been coming to this store for over 20 years and love it. Love the fresh and some live seafood options. Also thier poke is pretty good as well.
.Always good selection of seafood
Great store. Friendly workers. Enjoy the Shiso Nalo Poke.
Always can rely on fresh Catch good selection and quality.. I had a few beers with tamashiro back in the days
anything or everything island (as far as food) its there...they're really good at cleaning fish and customer service is great...its an unforgettable landmark...can't miss it when it come to directions
Best fish market on the island. We come here for salmon, ahi (tuna) and oyster, poke mostly. Recently, they cook up rice and serve poke bowl/bendo. That's awesome!
Parking is tough here, especially turning into the lot as cars block the driveway often. Come from vineyard blvd and it'll be easier to get in. The inside of the store is a little crowded and not lit well but they offer great seafood and poke bowl too. Process are reasonable, a bit more expensive then Chinatown in general though.
I can always count on getting fresh ogo from here & the poke is always fresh & delicious eventhough it's bit on high price.
Great little fish market! No fish smell :)
Best local seafood around...
They sell vegetables and beer...they also have fresh pok'e and pok'e bowls...along with their fresh poke comes their great selection of fresh and live seafood...always known for their great seafood and the only place to go for an Authentic feel of Hawai'i...so come join us and relive that experience of old Hawai'i...
Awesome selection of fish and the best looking poke sashimi grade.
Good fresh ocean goodies!
Best seafood market in Honolulu.
Love tamashiro market
I use to work here back in 1981, been going back all those years, just went there today, still waiting for that aku price to come down.Great bunch of guys work here, no need go fishing or diving+ go here, guarantee hook up every time, if not, just ask guy tamashiro for some help, he'll let you know what's the best fish for what you're looking for. Aloha tamashiro market! Shibat's
Love it
BEST POKE IN THE CITY
Ono poke good sea food selection
I barely come here but when I do I apwaya get fish & sweet potato. Staff is helpful & friendly, not too much drinks to go but they do have a variety of spices for cooking with seafood
Lots of fresh fish to choose from. The best spicy tuna on Oahu
Great selection of poke. I recommend the spicy ahi and octopus.
Great place for your raw fish needs
Pricy but high quality fish
I came there after 3 and there wasn't much of a selection. Better to come in the afternoon or late morning to get a good selection of fresh fish
Great varieties of fresh seafood, vegetables etc.
too expensive the seafood
place was crowded but well managed . parking lot tended, line with numbers picked, fish cleaner was grumpy
Fresh fish everyday. Reasonable prices.
Local word of mouth kinda place. Some of the best poke I've had in Hawaii!
The best fish market I’ve ever been to!
Great fish and wonderful poky...hard to find but it's the best in Honolulu... price is fair for great quality....
Stop here for your poke!
Best
I love tamashiro market there's no long wait. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Fast customer service.
great place to shop fresh papaya from kahuku and big island, good fish
Bought amazing fish to cook for friends and family. Great service and prices.
Very good, great atmosphere, clean vegetables and fish department's. I will always be there.
Full service old style fish market with local and imported fish, both fresh and frozen. Includes hard to find seafood from Japan and elsewhere. Produce and prepared food section includes cooked fish, musubi, and of course poke, poke, poke. If you need a fresh fish, take a number, they will help you select and clean and cut for you if you wish, and wrap in pink paper and you can put in provided plastic bags. Fish cutters are friendly and knowledgeable. Parking is available across the street in the church, but make sure you don't jaywalk and wait for the light because more than once I've seen HPD monitoring from a discrete location and ticket. Enjoy!
This store was around since I was young & it is still the family neighborhood store I remembered it to be. Friendly & very helpful people. Fish & other seafood products are always fresh. No wonder it is still here today!
I was looking for a place to buy Limu ( Hawaiian Seaweed) and discovered this place. Its a fresh fish market with amazing fresh tuna! Back to the Limu, they sell it in big watery bins and it's super cheap. I bought two produce bags full for $2. Also was able to get everything I needed to make my own delicious Ahi Tuna Poke.
I find any fish and help get it
Very expensive crabs. But great variety
Great place and the poke it's amazing, I love the spicy salmon and tuna
I drive from kahaluu to kalihi just for the madako tako and ahi onion poke regularly
Parents went here every Saturday for fresh fish back in the 80s when I was growing up in Oahu. Visiting in August was nostalgic. Still the same and still so ono!
Exemplary customer service & everything is always so Ono
Great fish market. Their poke bar I think is the best in town.
Good place to pick up all kine poke.
Went a little late in the day so they ran out of some stuff but overall quality was great on the tako and poke that we got.
The variety of Poke always the Best if drive by area it's always a treat to take home for lunch or dinner.
