Never a disappointment! What I liked about this particular visit. The younger tall guy, who wears glasses, I believe he is the son of the owners, asked(well, told me, stated....whatever, you know what I mean) me, "No salt on your fries?" He knows me. I had fried shrimp and fries. Now, I need to be carried around my place, in order to get prepared for bed, because I am fill as a tick! Smiling!

Don't waste your money. I have never written a review before but for these folks I will make an exception. I have gone here for years even though I should have stopped going a long time ago. It is hit or miss on whether the fish is fresh. I have gone there numerous times and have been told the fish was fresh but when I get home, not only is it not fresh, it is not edible, a lot of times, not just one or two. But I always just threw the fish in the trash and kept it moving. I have spent hundreds of dollars with them that I just threw in the trash. Well, yesterday when I went in there, I told the guy who waited on me that I was tired of buying no good fish from there and I was going to start bringing it back. I was shocked when he told me I could not bring it back and that he could show me the fish once they cleaned it and I could perhaps see if it was bad at that time. I told him in that case then I would pay for it after they cleaned it and we could see if it was bad. But he wanted me to pay for it first and if the fish was bad, he was still not going to give me a refund. I was stunned. I told him they had seen me for the last time and I was going to let everyone know that they do not stand behind their product. I have NEVER shopped anywhere and people do not make good on their product if it is bad. But these folks don't care. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME WITH THESE FOLKS EVER AGAIN. As a matter of fact, they could not even give me free food, because I know their true character now and IT IS NOT GOOD. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE. PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE IT IS APPRECIATED AND SOMEWHERE WHERE THE FISH IS FRESH AND NOT ROTTEN MOST OF THE TIME.

The fried Whiting fish was seasoned and fried to perfection. They cut the heads off, split them, and fried them just as requested. The fried oysters and shrimp were also well seasoned and crispy. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted good. It did not take long to receive the food after the order was placed. Everyone was friendly and efficient. I definitely look forward to my next visit for some more fried seafood.

The crabs tasted like mush and the conch was very hard . I wouldn't recommend them. And they are expensive. A dozen of crabs here is $40 every other seafood restaurant in Savannah is $20.

Would never think of going any place other than Jackie's! The food is awesome! Great prices for their seafood which is always fresh. Low Country Boil for one is $11. Go in and order and your on your way in minutes. They always cook your order as you wait to give that freshness. A lot of food too. This is strictly a pickup and take out place but, you are going to be amazed at their food as well as being able to purchase fresh caught seafood from the boat that you can take home and cook yourself.
