Banana cream cake was delicious.
Impeccable service. Wonderful atmosphere. Excellent food. We love this place!
One of my favorite breakfast places. Always a great meal and service.
Great Food. Love that Reuben Sandwich & Shrimp Salad & Sweet Potato Fries. Good friendly service.
Always excellent! Food is great!
This is my second time at a TooJay’s, and once again I’ve left satisfied and pleased (except that I was too full after my meal to try one of their tasty looking desserts). Lots of traditional Jewish cuisine, but it’s not all latkes and knish so if you’re looking for a good burger, salad, or other typical American fair you’ll have plenty to choose from. Great kids meal options too. I expect to be back regularly.
It boggles my mind that this place never has people waiting in line to be seated like some other upscale restaurants (Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory). It has great tasting food, great quality and substance to all items. Servers are pleasant, not rushing and running around, and come back frequently to check if you need something. Atmosphere is good, noise is low, bathrooms are clean. Couldn't ask for more.
My wife and I have been several times during the day at various points during the week. Staff is always friendly, service was good and the food as always was great. It’s somewhat hard to find, we’ve had lunch with friends and they had a hard time locating it not being from the area. Aside from having to be careful going in and out because of the crazy parking we highly recommend!
Great food. Excellent service. A New York style deli in Florida.
Several times I have ate in, ordered takeout, and had delivery. The food and service is always perfect and exactly how I ordered it. My only complaint is that the doordash options at noon to 5pm are breakfast only.
Solid soup, sandwiches and excellent potato latkes.
Put in a dedicated toaster and offer gluten free toast! Very few choices for a Celiac. GREAT STAFF AND SERVICE THO.
A wonderful place to meet for lunch. Huge menu and everything is good! Be sure to download the app and sign up for rewards! We've been missing out on free desserts and cash back for too long!!! Thanks Kristi for informing us!!
Nice deli, good atmosphere
Omg, yummiest place on earth! Had matzo ball soup and warm corned beef on rye. Service is great. Dessert even better - rugelach.
Amazing food great staff! Will definitely be back again!
Like this place very much, always great service & servers are very efficient & fast
LOVE!!! The food is amazing, the staff are so friendly and the deli part in the entrance makes you feel like you're walking in to a NY street deli.
Very good service and the food tastes great. The desserts look delicious. I like to go at lunchtime.
Food is always good!! So is service. !!
Wow... Delicious! Good service and salads are out of this world
the food and service at this to Jay's was really excellent I really liked the cobb salad it was just fabulous tasting very very fresh ingredients and just a perfect afternoon lunch with a customer
A real American dining. I eat there at least once a week and can guarantee this is one of the best burgers in town. Also a great place for you favorite comfort food...and...best chicken dill salad and shrimp salad. Highly recommended.
Great Tomato and Cucumber Salad. Liver and Onions was done perfectly. Service was very good.
Soup was bottom of the pot and burnt tasting. Bread was stale.
Lunch or dinner, great food reasonable price, no waiting most of the time
The place looks great. But food is fine.
They dropped potato skins from the menu - poor decision. And the bagel chips (which are very good) are only available intermittently.
Everyone got what they wanted. It was the right temperature & service was good.
TooJay's is always a solid option. Great food with larger portions.
Love their sandwiches and baked goods!
I love this place. The deli style food is yummy as are the desserts!
Yum. Be hungry. Great food and service.
A true taste of a NY deli. Wonderful food.
We go there often great food went for soup last nite matza was great broth was bad old tasting oily
Food was totally outstanding with great service.
Too Jays Deli, no matter what location, is always a treat for me as a native New Yorker. Although not quite a NY Deli, the food here is always of a superior quality. The sandwiches have an abundance of meat on them, the stuffed cabbage is fantastic and the potato latkes (pancakes) are very tasty. There really isn't anything you can go wrong with here. Enjoy!
It was fast & delicious foods & friendly Personal
Great deli. Kosher too. Portions are huge.
We moved here from Indiana and was trying to find a true Deli that was good or better than the Deli we had in Indiana. TooJay's did not fail us. Everything we ordered was delicious and we will be back soon. Love TooJay's!!
Consistently good service was excellent excellent comfy food for a cold winter night in Florida
Yummy Pastrami sandwich. Very nice staff.
love this place, the matzah ball soup is the best
Love this place. Food is good. Always clean. Most amazing desserts. Banana dream cake is the best. Filling portions.
Always love too jays great food. You have a sweet tooth things plane had best desserts in town.
Nobody makes better hot sandwiches in Dr. Phillips neighborhood than Toojay's. I ordered a Rachael - which is like a Reuben. Hot Pastrami, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing on thickly sliced rye bread slices. YUM! I have often ordered their matzo ball soup when I have a cold. Their black and white cookies are also delicious. Takeout is usually quick and efficient, especially if you order in advance.
Food was great, fast service. It was very busy too that's probably why.
Food and pastries are amazing. They forgot my mazzoball soup the other day. I mentioned it to the lady so she gave it to me today. OMG that was the BEST soup.
I had never been to TooJays and it was quite wonderful. The menu had something for everyone, the prices we're reasonable and it had a good atmosphere. The service was great and quick and outside seating was available.
Nice place and attention, good food. I ordered omelet with smoked salmon really good. It's a really familiar place, I enjoyed.
New neighborhood for me I will be back and highly likely I'll be a regular true NY style deli cafe. Didn't have any desserts this time but they like delish
Always delicious food and good service
Been here plenty of times. There is plenty of competition on Restaurant Row and this restaurant is losing it's charm and character. Sandwiches is the way to go for most Toojays and The soups are usually good as well. But when you order an entree you over pay for a sub-par quality. This particular experience the server was very stoic, And not very talkative. Daughter ordered the kids hamburger, which was dry. Ordered two soups which were good. Wife had the Chicken Capri which was ok, simply drowned in some white glaze. This dish should be listed at $13 not $17. On again was just ok. I ordered the Pastrami Burger which was juicy, but lacked simple salt seasoning, and the fries were ok as well. On an unusual side note we ordered club soda (soda water) , and there was this taste of mold. Not sure if this was from the ice or the soda water line. I do not think we will returning. Unless im really craving a Ruben.
FINALLY! Knishes in Florida. Delicious. My Brooklyn raised Grandmother LOVED THEM. Thank you!
I always say this yenta love me some comfort Jewish food
I had the pastrami burger it was cooked great just how I asked but the flavor however was nowhere to be found. For being the pastrami burger I was expecting more than just 2 small slices of pastrami. On the menu it says the burger has some of the spices they put on the pastrami but my burger definitely didn't it was pretty bland there was just not a lot of flavor going on even just some salt and pepper would have helped. Staff seemed very nice. But for about $14 or so I would have expected more pastrami and flavor. Fries were 50/50. Hope your burger is better than mine enjoy.
Always busy because the food is plentiful and good. I love their egg salad sandwich on their specialty bread but so many great breakfast and lunch choices and if you can’t decide just buy from the deli to bring home. Watch out for the fresh pastries addictive!
Outstanding Jewish delicatessen and or diner. Salads or massive and sandwiches are as close to up north quality as your going to get.
Fresh pastrami, prompt service. No complaints! Love to come back and try something else.
Great food and excellent customer service
The avocado hamburger with caramelized onions was extremely good.
Fabulous deli. Worth the 30 minute drive
I have always loved TooJays, but the onion rings were life-changing. They are so very good. Everything here from breakfast to burgers is pretty spectacular. I used to get to-go once a week, but just recently discovered GrubHub. It is always very good.
Great service, tasty food.
Great fresh food and service. Staff was helpful with menu options. Helped us get signed up for a free desserts. Kids enjoyed their meal.
Food is good but is a bit pricey
So tasty. Loved the chopped liver!
The Banana Dream Cake... That is all you need to think about and know
Haven't been in a while since there wasn't one near my last place, so happy to have one close by where I live again. Love the breakfast menu and the deli.
Everything was delicious. Excellent staff. A local hidden gem!
Excellant food, very fresh and priced very well. A must eat when in Orlando.
My co-worker wanted a good Reuben sandwich and I looked up New York delicatessen and this came up on Google Guides as a good place to eat. We were not disappointed. The Rachels' (a Reuben with both pastrami and corned beef) were huge and flavorful. The steak fries fresh, hot. We got some fresh cookies to go from their bakery. Their cakes look amazing, but we were way too full. The only knock was service was slow. I think they just were confused on who had what table. Once they got it figured out everything was fine. Manager came over to speak with us. Very nice. Not too far off Sand Lake and Dr Phillips.
Excellent breakfast with a large menu to select from. Recent remodeling adds a classy touch to a already well-established deli/restaurant.
Nice ambiance. Food was good and had various options. Bakery was delicious!!
This is by far my favorite location so far. I have only been a couple times but I love everything we have tried. I had the turkey dinner this last time and it was huge. I took almost half home. The Shepard's pie is excellent too. My whole reason for seeking them out in the first place was the corned beef. Hard to find good deli food here in Florida but this makes the cut. Having a sandwich with cole slaw in it was fantastic. If you just want dessert they have some great choices. My personal favorite was the chocolate cake but they have wonderful choices for both dine in and carry out. This one is definitely worth a trip.
This is our go to restaurant location at least once a week. Friendly and helpful staff! Go to items are omelettes, fish and chips with coleslaw, chicken and waffles or anything with smoked salmon.
Love the food here best breakfast ever.
Toojay's is always excellent. They should however learn to make a better Matzo Ball! Current version is quite tasteless.
I had a very bad experience the last time I came here 6 months ago, and decided never to come back. With all the other breakfast places in the area with wait times upwards of 20-40 minutes. I said “let’s give it another shot” I had a minor issue and Sean Smith and Magdy Eldebegy took good care of me to more than my expectations. I will be making this my first choice from now on.
Great deli for not being in New York. Delicious Reuben sandwiches. The soups are fabulous.
Good food every time I visit. Our server, Debbie, is awesome. Highly recommend.
Great quick service, breakfast is good here and also dinner. The matzo ball soup in incredible!
Excellent breakfast place to go. Great place
Delicious shepherds pie and Reuben sandwich. Large portions, even on desserts. Good service as well.
Nice place. Red velvet is great
Great stuffed cabbage and potato pancakes!
You hungry? TooJay's is the place to fill your tank!!! Awesome dinners and desserts. You will get plenty for the money, not like other places that skimp out on the portions.
My first time ordering food at a TooJay's and it was delicious.
delicious pastries, took a while to get them. Overall I would go back for more pastries!!!
The people are always very nice and helpful. Their food is top quality ! The atmosphere is welcoming.
Oh my goodness!! This place is amazing! Fresh bread and pastries made daily. Absolutely delicious and fresh! I ordered the turkey avocado sandwich on rye (add bacon). They forgot the bacon and charged me for it. I called in to tell them that they forgot the bacon and Erica, the manager, wanted to do everything in her power to make it right. I also ordered several cookies for the family. They were incredible!! We were informed that they just came out of the oven. YUMMMMY!!! Staff is extemly friendly (Tori was very patient while taking our order and gave us excellent suggestions). We will be in town for a few more days and will be back at least one more time before we depart.
Love half corned beef and half pastrami.
Order French onion soup and grilled cheese. I would definitely go back to try some bakery items.
Very hit and miss, sometimes great, sometimes not, you never can tell. Very large menu, and things are made fresh. Serving sizes tend to run large here. I found it overall to be pretty bland food, there's just not a lot of flavor going on here, especially with the sandwiches. Def need some salt, pepper, anything! Maybe that's how food is up north though? I have no clue. Their blue cheese dressing is quite good though.
I have never had to complain about the food, the service is adequate and my family in law seems to enjoy it which is why I go.
Lunch for New Years Eve with girlfriends! This location was perfect. One of our friends had never heard of TooJay's. She was pleased with her salad.
A good New York style deli. Standard fare for the type of place. Lots of deli meat sandwiches and small platters. They do have knishes, latkes, and matzo ball soup. But it not real kosher and the corned beef and pastrami are made from round instead of Kosher brisket. But the food is tasty but a bit on the expensive side. Lunch for to can set you back close to 40 bucks if you get beverage, and pastry. But worth a stop if it is deli you crave. The portion are generous and the service is good and friendly.
Nice service and good food. Will come again.
My go to place for a great sandwich and piece of cake!
Always a pleasure. They have great service and food.
Great food and excellent service.
I love eating there
I had the Mandarin Orange Chicken Salad and it was delicious.
Fab food. A diamond of a find. Service excellent.
This was my first time at TooJays and I will be going back asap...All the food was great and the service was fast and friendly..
Always an awesome place to dine! Unfortunately the screaming children is a turn off!
Love this place!! We are visiting from out of town and went for the first night of Chanukah. The latkes were on point, the matzah ball was the perfect amount of firm/fluffy, and the corned beef was fresh. We got some chocolate rugelah to go and it was very hard not to eat it all at once. Needless to say we were not disappointed.
Amazing food! Great service best deli in Orlando!
Too-jays at Dr Philips. My mom, sister and I had our lunch there today. The middle-age lady who is a hostess with short spiky hair was incredibly out of sort this morning. She brought us to the table, spoke and repeated her words to us in slowly motion, “ this is your menu, one, two, three. No breakast after 11am, this one no breakfast, ( again she spoke in slow motion) this menu also no breakfast, this one no breakast. “ she also turned the special menu and pointed at it saying, this one no breakast only lunch. She turned the menu over and repeated on the other side of the menu, no breakast lunch only. How strange. I am an Asian American citizen living in America for over 30 years who decided to eat at Toojays in Dr Phillips area. We do frequent Toojays for breakfast almost every weekend at Waterford lake and Fashion Square locations. I was appalled at her ignorant attitude toward her customers solely based on our appearances being of Asian descent. We were treated as if we couldn’t speak English. Also she spoke so loudly that all the surrounded customers were in awe and silent. Oh, we were still standing while she went in and on about the menus. We were utterly shocked by this type of behavior in a civilized society. Toojays at Dr Philips I think it’s time you train your employees again. Miartchannel@gmail.com Mi
The omlete was not very good. Enjoyed the coffee and bagel
Outstanding food and great service
Went for breakfast on a Saturday. Ordered the eggs benedict. The eggs were soft boiled, did send it back and got a perfect egg. However, the sauce separated, and when I asked for more they brought out more of the separated sauce. Manager did come out, gave me more separated sauce and told me that's how it came in the bag. Went to TJ's to get homemade sauce not one from a bag extremely disappointed.
Love Jewish delicatessens. Same quality every time that I've gone. I've always had good service
My favorite restaurant in Florida
Shepherd's pie was really good, shouldn't have cheese on it. As my English friends say, you Americans put cheese on everything. I'm still coming back, been coming here since 2006. ❣
What a find! very nice place to grab a nice breakfast and delish bakery goods. Stopped in for brunch with my daughter; great portions you will need to take your desert home for sure!
Amazing restaurant. The pastrami and corn beef sandwich is the best I’ve had. Delicious potato salad Too. The bakery has an amazing selection of cakes and pastries. Service was excellent.
Very, very good pastries. We didn't eat at the restaurant, just got some goodies to go.
Used to be a great place but lost the quality somewhere along the way. Insult to a true Jewish deli.
A bit noisy, but friendly atmosphere. Great deli food, particularly like the matzo ball soup
My family visited today (Dr. Phillips location) and had a rather uncomfortable experience. We are a black/latino family. After we were seated, we realized that guests that arrived after us were being served, and our waiter was ignoring our table. After 10-15m of no acknowledgment, while other tables were recieving food and service, my husband spoke to the manager. She was extremely professional and reactive (profusely apologized and comped appetizer). Another waitress, Augustina, was assigned to our table and she was fabulous. Together, both the manager and Augustina made us feel welcome. Because of how manager/Augustina responded, we tipped her nearly 50% of our bill. While our experience was initially uncomfortable, the service recovery and delicious food guaranteed that we'll return.
Quality Quality Quality! Eat and enjoy! Order the banana bread French toast, you'll be addicted!
Perfectly prepared food and great service!
Subpar food with a disinterested waitress. The open face turkey sandwich was so dry with barely any sauce on it that it was a struggle to swallow. The loaded latkes were good though.
Very good Jewish deli in Orlando. Quick service and superb quality food
Good food! Reasonable prices!
The picture tells all. Great food, great service! I had a tongue Reuben. Fantastic, with the thinly sliced tongue piled sky high, on wonderfully soft rye bread. My companions split an appetizer of loaded potato latkes, and a corned beef reuben. Service by Mike was quick, and efficient. He took the time to joke with us, but don't let this fool you! It does not slow him down.
New York Style Deli. Had the tuna salad and hotdogs with pastrami and coleslaw. Delicious!
Clean, good selection, friendly staff and wonderful food! Shepherd's Pie was amazing. Highly recommend ther banana dream cake!
Went there for the first time and had the Thanksgiving sandwich. So good, can't wait to go back.
Incredible! This was my first visit to TooJay's and after listening to my family raving about this place for years i finally got a chance to go with them. It lived up to the hype. Every bite delicious. Even the coleslaw was fresh and crisp with out being overly vinegar or sugary.
I loved the food. Missed Brooke though, she is the best waitress
Good deli food. Great sandwiches. Service is good too. I come here quite often when in the area.
I love Too Jay's. My sister in law and brother live there when on vacation.
We go here every time we are in Orlando. Good food and great staff. Just wish they had Montreal smoked meat ...
Holy TOOJAY'S Batman! Everything in this restaurant was AMAZING!!! From the Strawberry Shortcake French Toast to the Latke Sliders! And not to mention the Peach Bellinis!
It’s great to find a proper deli here in Orlando. The food is great, the staff is friendly and the place is very clean. Whether you eat in or carry out the results are the same - great food and something for everyone in the family. The salmon platter and soups are particularly good.
What a find! We were traveling home from Disney and wanted a quick bite. Loved that I could get matzoh ball soup for breakfast :) Can't wait to go back!
Always like TooJays. Matzo ball soup is good as are the deli sandwiches. Bring back the full size black and white cookie.
OUTSTANDING!! Jackie the Hostess was phenomenal. Thanked me for coming in again, inquired how my day was, expressed genuine interest in me. Seated and served by Diana right away. Ordered the Reuben. It was top notch. Served literally within minutes of being seated. Restaurant is so clean. Restrooms were spotless. Thank you for an amazing experience. I recommend your restaurants to all of my family and friends. One of my most favorite places.
I had a business meeting there and they have a a pretty diverse menu! Nice bakery and good coffee.
Good atmosphere. Good food. Average prices.
I didn't dine at the location. I placed a no-go order. A sandwich and a Cesar Salad. Fresh and delicious! Dessert options from bakery is great. Got an assortment as well... Also great tasting.
Had the best cheese danish of my life. And that is saying something as I have been on the Earth for 60 plus years
The food is DELICIOUS!!! The service was amazing too!!! Deby our waitress was phenomenal!
Great deli foods. Moderately priced. Good service. Love the cornbeef on rye Bakery needs a new menu...super sugar everything is old school.
