Cool restaurant with a good family vibes. My little one liked the animal animations. And the waiters are nice.animals every corner and cool animation. Even have a nice aquarium.. what I didn’t enjoy was my food .. dry rice and salmon was way over salty. And for what you paying yo I would imagine a better plate and taste. Overall it’s ok for the kids and that’s the main reason you go there to start with. But gotta do better on the food part. I’ll give it another shot for my kids cuz they enjoyed the animals and maybe food would taste better and my review will change.

Make sure to check your receipt twice at this restaurant or expect to get charged a gratuity you didn't even include. I gave my gratuity in cash and did not write anything down on the receipt for them to double charge me a gratuity like that. I spoke with them about 2 days after about this, promised me a refund in 5 business days, and now it's been over 2 weeks and I have still not received anything. Had to make a dispute with my bank instead..

The service was great, love the attention from the staff. The food was not as great as I thought. Had the seafood trio, the tilapia was good with the mango, the coconut shrimp was left out too long they became hard and the scallops had too much butter sauce and were super small, half the mini marshmallow size, not worth the amount I paid... my son's kids burger buns were hard like bread from the night before when left out of the bag. My waiter was kind to change it, and was quick. Kept a great service. The food prep needs to be a bit better, but the nice warm staff were great.

Cool jungle restaurant for the whole family but more the kids. You feel as if you are in the jungle eating dinner or lunch. The robotic animals come to life every now and then which really bring the jungle atmosphere to life. They have a gift shop you can get your little ones a treat for good behavior. Lol. Great food as well and priced decent .

Food was spicy even when we asked if it was was before ordering it. It was for someone with a condition that can not have spicy food. Everything else was flavorless and not enjoyable. Service was lacking, it felt like they just wanted everyone out and they were disorganized. The bathrooms were a mess, dirty and disgusting. Won’t be coming back unfortunately.

Rainforest Cafe is a dining experience everyone should have at least once. The more willing you are to be amazed and entranced the more impressive the experience! The food is varied and tasty, never had anything I didn't like. Adult portions are huge, which is good for the price. Expect to wait a bit throughout the experience, but that's your cue to sit back with a sweet and icy cocktail and take it all in. Our server was gracious and attentive and aside from the unfortunate table (next to a tree trunk and directly in the path of the kitchen) it was wonderful.

Nice place to rest your legs when you're shopping at the mall! The service is superb and the food is excellent! The animals in the jungle around you starts to move and make sound sometimes and that is exciting! I love this place!

The jungle theme and scenery is over the top and mind-blowing. The monkeys and tigers and elephants is all pretty cool. With jungle sounds and the place being covered in green brush and leaves with a Mist falling from the ceiling. BUT... the service here is mediocre and the food is not parallel to the atmosphere. The food wasn't all that good and after spending $120 for myself, wife and 3 kids for lunch I still found myself hungry a short time after and I am not a heavy set or gluttonous person.

Nothing special about the food here. Most kids will be unamused by the jungle theme. The gift shop is quite pricey. The waitstaff will cold-pitch a frequent diner card for something like 40 bucks. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

It's a fun restaurant to eat at. They have all kinds of robotic animals that are life like interacting with the environment. Huge fish tanks everywhere, and a thunder Strom that happens every 20 mins with lights and sound effects. Tasty menus with the classics like hamburgers and chicken but also new tastes every season that are always amazing to try. A little pricey but worth it in the end.

Got there and waited for over 10 minutes to be seated at a mostly empty resturant, there was only 2 of us. Then it took forever for food to be delivered even though we ordered very quickly. Our server said she would check on our food but we kept seeing her on the floor. She was good about refilling our drinks. (The only reason I went back to this place is because I enjoyed it as a kid when it first opened at this location and its been YEARS) I had the fish and chips, the fries were very stale as if they had been sitting for a bit and the fish was very watery and you could tell it was frozen just by the texture alone. Our waitress was slow to get us our check, but stood there the whole time while a card was given to her. Everything else was slow except for them taking our money. This isn't the place I remember it to be and will not be returning.

Place is nice but just to look at. 2 weeks ago I was there on a week day, during the day when you’d think it’s pretty slow. Well, they were slow alright! Place was practically empty and after we were seated it took over 20 mins for our waiter to take our drink order. Being that it took so long, we ordered our meals at that moment as well. It took 47 mins for us to get our food which were 2 sandwiches which ended up being just ok. Today my husband and I decided to give them another shot... TERRIBLE idea. We were seated, ordered our drinks, an appetizer and our kids’meals, in hopes they’d get it fast since they were hungry. Shortly after we received our appetizer and put in our order. The appetizer was clearly old and reheated. We spoke to a manager and they brought us a new one. The color of the food was even different. The manager himself, agreed that the food looked as if it had been reheated. It took an hour and 20 mins for us to get our food, which came with our kids’ meals! This was after speaking to a manager. Who knows how much longer it would’ve been. They ended up removing the appetizer and kids’ meals from our tab. Safe to say, I will never go back again. Growing up, Rainforest Cafe was a great family spot with good food. They simply suck now and so does their food!

Went to the Breakfast with the Easter bunny. It was good and all except when the egg hunt. I understand to divide the ages up but to let one year olds and two years olds go by themselves with out parents. NOT SAFE at All because i lost sight of my child a panic cause if some grab my child or anyone ealses then it would be a huge problem. I went right away to find my child and we left. I called to tell the manger he just push it off like it was no concern to him and he would have the general manger call me back. Never heard from the General manager at all. I did attend last year and the egg hunt was diffrent we as parent was with our children witch was better.

First time bringing my kids and it's enjoyable as an adult but with kids, a whole other experience. Great service, surprisingly good Poke Bowl and BBQ burger. Kids menu had allot of options and was pretty darn good. Reasonable bill for a family of four. Room our waiter was on the ball and made a number of suggestions, which I am glad I took.

This is a great place to come specially with children. I enjoy watching their faces when the sounds of thunder, lights flickering, dinosaurs roars its priceless, I know, my grandsons face lights up, is all worth it. Food, service, gift shop top of the line, makes your visit a very pleasant one. Location is very convenient as well after a nice lunch or dinner you can continue shopping or browsing all the stores Sawgrass Mall has to offer. Have a very nice day. Be Blessed

Great atmosphere, and top notch food make this an easy place to eat at when at Sawgrass Mills Mall. The place looks like something out of a Disney Theme Park with all the Trees,animals, and background noises. The food is quality and the service is good as well. You could be waiting sometime for a seat unfortunately but its worth the wait if you have the time.

Fun jungle themed restaurant for all ages - as an adult I especially enjoyed the awesome gift shop filled with fun items meeting all price ranges. Dining is a treat for kids young and old with a rainstorm bringing the entire place alive every 20 minutes or so. Priced moderately to a lot, but generously portioned appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Enjoy the experience that is only available in the few of these RCs that exist nationwide, if you're just there for the eats then go somewhere else specializing in fine dining only and leave the complaining for what is should be used for-bad service or food-and you shouldn't expect those maladies here, we had a blast!

The food was still well prepared and service was expedient. Could probably also use a fresh coat of paint and some updates to the restroom area. Otherwise we enjoyed our visit.

Attendance at front is always very good, food is delicious. I don't give the 5* because the restroom needed attention, and our waitress wasn't paying enough attention to our requests as usual in this restaurant. I really hope they fix this, because the concept, decoration is really good for families with kids of any age.

A very nice place to go with your family. They have great entertainment. The prices for food aren’t the best you’ll find in the area but the entertainment and child friendly service is unrivaled. Make sure to make an early reservation on weekends. But even if you have some waiting time - you can spend a good time in the vast sawgrass mills mall.

Go for the ambience, not for the food. So much to see for the kids, animatronic rainforest animals, cool aquariums, plus thunderstorm and lighting, plus "rain", but the food is mediocre and too pricey for what you get. The staff is doing the minimum, not more. You can feel they know that they are catering to tourists that will not come back. We were "regulars", not anymore.

Nice place, especially for families with small kids. They do a good job entertaining. The "Safari Guide", waiter, was there quick, got the orders quick, apps where there timely. But it was 30 minutes before the main course was delivered. The server forgot to put in one of the orders, he was very apologetic, and got that one out fast. No break on the tab, though. Overall, food was very good, but i would suggest they work on getting the main course faster. Additionally, the men's room was horrible. It was littered with toilet paper and urine.

Worst customer service, first and last time, NOT going there anymore. Unprofessional staff and manager .I was there 6/23/19 around 2:30 pm. Ordered food at 2:40 pm. I got the food at 3:19 pm. My kids were starving!!. When we finally got the food was all completely wrong!! Land of the sea (no scallops!l) how you forgot to put scallops ?? Instead they put shrimp. Also is supposed to come with sweet potatoes. Not sweet potatoes.... i have to complaint about that.my friend who ordered fried chicken strip , she got in her plate also fried shrimp?!? And fried chicken... can you imagine if she was allergic to shrimp??. Her daughter ordered pasta with chicken... chicken never made it. The waiter also agreed with me that he wouldn't no comeback again with such nasty experience. Manager did nothing to resolve the issue. When i told him i just want my money back of my plate. He never try ,not even one time to make me comeback to the restaurant.

Brought my 4year old here for the first time and he had a blast! it's definitely a place for experience. We did enjoy the food more than we had expected and we had no problem finding something we all could enjoy! Only deducted a star because service was a little slow and the food took awhile to come out. Still recommend for experience!

Had a 615pm reservation. Sat at 630. Kids meal delivered at 715, still no adult meals by 730pm so we left cash with the hostess for our drinks and kids food. Walking through the mall about 6 stores down we were approached by a female manager whom we never even saw at the restaurant. She was kind but offered no solution. She wanted us to come back to the restaurant to give us $1.50 change but we refused. A night of fun with our grandson was ruined. No one ever came back while waiting over an hour. Very disappointed after being a customer for 22 yrs here.

Food its ok, the place is a little expensive for the quality of food the offer. The ambience is nice becouse the nice decoration and sound effects the have. The waiter was friendly, but when he brought the bill we noticed that he charged two desserts and we only ordered one, then he brought the bill again or he made another mistake. The fish tacos that I ordered were very small and the tortillas breaks when you want to eat them. That was my experience that day.

This experience was terrible. Our server, Ron, took 45 minutes to get us our mozzarella sticks. 25 minutes later, we finally got our food. The burger was inedible because of how salty it was. The food is also not cheap. Going back to the server, he just paced back and forth from tables. He would also constantly come out of the kitchen with nothing in his hands. If I could give a 0, I would. Overall, a terrible experience.

Food was ok, portions were very light for the price that you are paying. I ordered the Bollywood Chicken and Shrimp. Despite not being busy at lunchtime on Sunday, the server was rarely seen and our cups of water were empty almost the entire meal. The novelty of the place is the animatronic rainforest animals. The kids loved them and the numerous fish tanks around the restaurant. While entertaining, I can't see myself coming back to the cafe again as the entertainment alone doesn't justify the price.

I took my family here for the first time. I have a 6 yr old and 2 yr old. They loved it. And although my husband had something in his drink that he sucked through the straw, they were very accommodating and offered a free appetizer to make up for it. Amazing customer service and the wait staff were all very happy and looked to enjoy their jobs. It was a very pleasant experience for my family and I. Last time I went I was a child myself. So much fun to see my girls eyes light up when the animals did their thing.

The Rainforest Cafe should be wonderful. Food service in a "Disney" African rainforest, with animatronic animals, lightning storms and waterfalls. Gentle and sometimes startling animal sounds fill the room. Giant aquariums, the home for some beautiful fish, bring a shimmering glow. There's even traces of smoke (odorless steam) from a nearby volcano. The menu is creative. There are vegan items available. Prices are moderate. The bathrooms are large and well-maintained. Everything is wheelchair accessible. Parking is free and easy. So what's wrong? Agonizing slow service. It's not that the servers don't care. They do. But something happens between ordering and service. After speaking with the manager our bill was reduced and an apology was given.

Food is not bad but WAY overpriced. Interesting environment, especially for kids when the "rainstorm" comes and the animals move. Even that is mediocre at this location though since a big part of the dining area opens to the mall whichis extrememly bright and completely takes away from the overall effect (it seems) they are trying to acheive.

Shameful experience. It has been 2 months since my sons graduation celebration at this rainforest cafe. It was a group of 9 people attending. My mom, fiance little sister, little cousin and my two little ones. My server didnt speak proper english and the Salmon I ordered with spinach and mashpotatos taste like it was refridgerated. No lie. I normally eat at Bahama Breeze and we wanted to try something different. Oh boy were we wrong for doing so. The fried shrimp and fries taste like immitated shrimp. I dont know how that is possible but trust my words. It taste like non-shrimp. A shrimp eater knows the difference between fake shrimp and shrimp. Honestly didnt know it was a thing until I came here. The balloon guy came by and we all got a specially made balloon. It was the ambiance that captivated us. But boy was it a wreck learning how the bill was calculated. After waiting appoximately 30 minutes for I bill, I decided to use the bathroom. I wanted to tell her after receiving our bill how we did not like most of our food. TBH!!! She took FOREVER AND A LIFE TIME!! My little ones were tired. Everyine was tired it was 10:45pm. Suddenly after I came out of the bathroom And walked back over to my table, the bill was paid. Now, listen I bill came up to 197.96, but wait for this.... the gratuity was ALREADY suggested in the amount. I did not get a optimized bill!!! I got one that said the total alone. The gratuity was learned after we came back the next day asking for it!!!! We left the waitress a 25 dollar tip on top of the 28 dollar suggested tip that was included in our bill!!!!! After learning this we were disgusted. We spoke about our experience with the MANAGER GLEN. He did nothing!!! NOTHING!!! Said that he would pass it along to corporate and get back to us in 2 weeks. He took my telephone number and did exactly NOTHING!!!! I went to BAHAMA BREEZE IN OAKLAND PARK on Mothers Day and they served us 1 hour after we ordered. We canceled and got up to leave. After speakimg to the Manager on duty they gave us a $60 gift card and appologized. Now Rainforest Cafe in Sawgrass. Horrorable!!! Until now. No call back. I called 1 week ago complaining that I did not receive a call at all. Glen the Regional Manager said. I can give you a $28 dollar refund. As of today I got nothing yet. A whole bunch of empty promises. I grow to dislike this place. Poor food, poor service I feel like the waitress tried to get over on us, not showing us the optimized bill!!! Poor service with the Tegional Manager!!! Poor ratings. I give them a zero 0. They dont deserve our money or time!! I am not a person who complains because I have been a bartender for 10 years. But I know when the hospitality is poor. I am a dissatisfied customer and they until know sone NOTHING about it.

The biggest appeal is naturally the fun atmosphere, but it would be nice if the food was equally as fun, which it is not. It is by no means terrible but for the price point a tad higher quality couldn't hurt. But then again as I mentioned before you do not go here for high quality dining. #rainforestcafe

This experience was terrible. The food took 45 minutes to get to us. Someone not even our server brought us our food. One of the plates was correct the other was wrong. They snatched both plates away even though I told the lady my food was correct. took another 7 minutes and brought back the same plate . Waited another 15 minutes for the correct food. The steak was rubbery and inedible I addressed this to the manager she said it was fresh. I am not dumb. Sent it back lost my appetite. Sent it back stayed with my daughters fish n chips plate that took 1 whole hour and 10 minutes to come out. For the price, The food is also not cheap. Will not return again

Very kid friendly, even the bar. The animals move and it really "rains". Keeps the kids attention.The children loved it. The food was good and the drinks were pretty tastey. When you're all done eating they have a gift shop... some things a little pricey but overall great experience.

The place is soooo beautiful, it would be great to take your kids. It looks like you're in a jungle obviously in a good way... the only bad thing was that I cut my lips drinking from a shipped glass that I noticed when I got the cut.

Great food (I strongly recommend the Costa Rica Salmon), a really cool decoration with wild animals and thunderstorm effects, nice service and a reasonable price. Go if you can and take your kids with you, they will love it.

This is a fun place to go with your family. It is loud, kids and tourists are running everywhere. The food is decent, not the best, but it is an institution. The theme is obviously rainforest Style and you can't really feel like you are on vacation in the middle of Sawgrass Mills Mall

No Air conditioning when we came in. Dusty dirty from the mushroom at the begining. Waited at host stand while no one was there after a few mins walked in to musty smell all over. Food took 45 mins wasnt bad but not worth the price. Definatly same as 20 years ago.

Absolute worst service I’ve received in YEARS. When the hostess took us to our table she advised she would be bringing a high chair back for my son. After 20 minutes of waiting and not even being greeted by our server and two failed attempts at asking other servers, we had to go find one ourselves. After 25 minutes of sitting waiting for someone to acknowledge our presence, we were ready to place our entire food and drink order. After our drinks were dropped we didn’t see our sever again until it was time for the check. My black bean burger was disgusting but I didn’t get a chance to tell him because he was impossible to find. Had to order an additional drink from the host stand because when trying to order from another server walking by instead of helping us they said “let me find your server for you” and never returned. Never again. The atmosphere is great but the AC wasn’t working properly and the service was absolutely the worst I’ve received in as long as I can remember. I asked the hostess to send the manager over and she asked “may I ask why?” And long story short no manager even came to our side of the restaurant. Terrible customer service. Food was “eh” at best and expensive considering all things. Stick to the Orlando location, totally different experience.

a magical restaurant for young and old. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was gigantic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is artificially tropical and offers a lot of special effects. a great Jumanji experience for children. The restaurant is located in the sawgrass Mills. Also, the restaurant has a large shop where you can buy many nice things. from me full 5 stars.

If you have children, they will absolutely love this place. Food is a little bit pricey, but it's well worth the experience . The animatronics are a bit old, they've probably never been changed out. We LOVED all their fish tanks, definitely worth checking out (specially if you have a little one).

The place has friendly staff and the atmosphere is very entertaining. The animals comes alive and they have these thunderstorms that are sure to keep your kids amused. But the food is horrible. Everything takes forever, but the food comes out with very low quality. Advice: I would come for the kids and just order drinks, maybe appetizer at most. Oh, and their iconic volcano dessert. Otherwise, stay away from the overpriced, under seasoned entrees
