I've been here several times. This time I went during the lunch hour and service was great, food came out quickly. I had soy glazed grilled scallops this visit that were cooked perfectly. I've also had the fish tacos and crab cakes which are also good.

Plenty parking available. Rapid greeting of arriving parties. The outdoors eating area is pleasant and the waterway attractions can be unusual. The bar and dining combo makes for a more pleasant seating all around. Some of my party was as interested in watching the various ballgames as they were to eat. The menu is filled with a variety of seafood offerings and meat staples. The wait staff were energetic, humorous, pleasant and helpful with food selections. Take advantage of the IN DINING REWARDS program. The white fish table appetizer is outstanding just a little to small if you have to share. It is good.....Big Fish is recommended to surpass the fill.

Excellent food and service. The scallops are amazing... Very well cooked. The blackened catfish is very delicious and the orzo is an excellent choice. Everything we ordered was fantastic including the sides and the smoked tuna starter. Highly recommend it. Leave room for dessert as both the key lime pie and bread pudding were excellent.

Coming back from Maryland and were from Florida and we know our seafood. It was delishous. Gotten the scallops with the fried rice and I highly recommend it! It's a little pricey so recommend looking on the online menu before coming in.

Solid seafood and sushi. I was impressed. the selection doesn't have steamer pots or AYCE crabs but don't let that deter you as there are always plenty of fish in the sea to try. The atmosphere is fun and perfect for family events . The servers were knowledgeable and very efficient with time. Stop by grab a drink and dig in.

Five star food at three star prices! Many compliments to the chef! The food could easily be sold at an upscale restaurant! I had fried flounder which was excellent! It wasn’t greasy and it had a uniqueness to it that made it unlike any fried fish I’ve ever had. My wife and I love all kinds of tea so we really appreciated their selection of herbal tea as well! I think we made it there at the beginning of the dinner rush because despite it being a Friday night and packed we were seated immediately. Fast, friendly and attentive service! The food came out quick even with being as busy as they were. The atmosphere has somewhat of a chain feeling but with a uniqueness of it’s own. Our only complaint was that it was very noisy! Most of the dining area is one big open space, with the exception of a separate area for large parties. We lucked out by getting one of, if not the only fully enclosed booths. The noise level did drop a little over the time we were there as the dinner rush got their food and started eating instead of chatting. This was our first time there but we will definitely be going there again for the food and service!

I love the Big Fish Grill! Everytime I go the food is very good and fresh. The servers are friendly and attentive. Overall a very pleasant experience. Nice for a family dinner, and maybe a date although it can get pretty loud so it's sometimes hard to hear.

Great place for lunch! The tuna appetizer is delicious and the key lime pie is the best! Nice atmosphere, creative presentation and unique menu with good variety. I went here as I wanted a change from market street . Amazing amount of choice and they have different offers every night . Tuesday night was 5 dollar wine night . I had the crab cake , it was beautifully cooked with a choice of two sides . I explored the boardwalk a little , I’ll be back ! Great choice for a solo traveller away on business like myself. My friend asked about lobster rolls. Although it’s not on the menu, they do serve them. Hers was delicious. I don’t recall what I ordered. Our server was wonderful.

My go to place for fish, on this particular occasion we found ourselves waiting for a little while. It was early evening dinner rush, so I guess that's normal. The food is fresh as always and there is a nice family feeling to the dining experience. If you have not tried it yet, please do so; you'll be glad that you did.

Absolutely delicious with a beautiful view on the river. Eat outside! Edit: so for my second time at Big Fish, we reserved a room as we had 25 family members, and we had an amazing time. I got to taste even more dishes, every single one tastier and tastier. It was a special and emotional event for the family and we couldn't have chosen a better place. We clapped for our 2 waiters at the end. Special mention : warm pecan pie cobbler and cinnamon ice cream, the killing blow.

First time dining here tonight, when we arrived and it was really busy. Although the expected wait time was 45 mins to an hour we were seated in about 25 minutes. The waitress Marlene was awesome and checked on us often along with other servers walking by. The food was AMAZING, portions were healthy and unlike many other places everything was seasoned. Will definitely be coming back with my family soon.

Great food and great drinks. I've been there several times, and have never been disappointed. I enjoy seating inside and outside the restaurant. The servers are friendly and do their job well. I've had group get togethers there, family celebrations, and just hanging with good friends there. I've had bad experiences at other places on the Riverfront, but Big Fish is not one of them. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Holy only was thus place good. The chef knows what he's doing. Serving size was spot on. Not big but not small either. Of course after tasting it I could of had twice as much. Yumm. I had a pregnant bartender as my waitress and she was fabulous. On the ball, checked on substitutions, drinks quick and other wait staff jumped into help instead of being ones table only.

Took my husband here on fathers day. Food was amazing, we had fried shrimp, crab cake & shrimp tortellini pasta in blush sauce & a maryland style crab cake with rice and veggies. everything was excellent - 0 complaints. Fast service and the hot sauce was awesome it has a sweet taste to it I had it with every bite - need it for at home lol. So recommend this place and we drove out from PA.

I enjoy the Big Fish Grill at any time, but the Thanksgiving buffet that we attended was special. We could not get a reservation, so we that at the bar. It was the best buffet style meal that I have had in 40 years. If you like seafood, a Big Fish buffet belongs on your must do list.

Great location. The stakes were amazing. The restaurant has a pretty good service. The calamari were very fresh and the sauces were great too. the place close taking orders from 9 pm but no hurries if you are finishing your meal. They have a nice outside area to set and eat while enjoying the river view.

The presentation was great as well. Thinking about making more trips to Wilmington from Pennsylvania for this wonderful experience. We sat outside and enjoyed the ambience as well.

Started off the evening with the Pomegranate salad. Loved it! Hope it stays on the menu for awhile. Interesting mix of arugula & another lettuce with slivers of apple & cheese. The pomegranate dressing takes this over the top. I also tried the tortellini with shrimp & crab cake. This is a hit too. Tortellini size was just right so I felt full, not overstuffed; the sauce was not heavy, a well-thought combination.

Food was excellent the broiled seafood including the scallops are done just right will a proper sear. Unfortunately the menus we we're handed we're dirty and dripping with some red stuff ( maybe cocktail sauce?) that I got all over my hands. No one offered to give us a handy wipe or any type of cleaning material for our hands. plus we had to ask for additional menus several times to replace the dirty ones. So while the food was good the service could have been better.

This establishment is a very nice spot to eat. Just a few minor things that they need to work on. They forgot to bring out a few of our food/drink items. They forgot to add the ice cream fir my chocolate cake. Our server Jackie went and put in a request for the ice cream but I never got it. They also charged us twice for a shot of patron when we only had 1 shot. Please make sure to go over your bill before paying. I didn't realize the mistake until I asked my husband for the bill(he had already paid it). The food was delicious. I had a side of Peruvian rice(very small portion). The calamari was absolutely yummy. Tge chocolate cake was the best ever. It was very moist, rich and delicious. My husband had the lump crab with Peruvian rice, garlic bread and asparagus. I tasted his crab cake and it was soooo yummy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had shrimp and lobster linguini, steak and shrimp, and jumbo shrimp with Jasmine rice and fingerling potatoes.. the sauce that came with it tasted similar to Asian zing from Buffalo wild wings which I loved.. the kids has spaghetti with a meat ball and crab cakes. Everyone liked their food. The server was nice although not always around. I would come back if I lived here... every thing was really good. They give you some type of fish dip with crackers for an appetizer it was ok.. if you like tuna with mayo or tartar sauce you will like it.

Ate here a few times before after work for apps. Came here for dinner, but was disappointed with the meal. Atmosphere and service was great, but the Maryland Crab Imperial & Asparagus Lobster/Filet Mignon entrees were a disappointment. No flavor and light and the serving size. Turns out they no longer serve crab legs to avoid competition with Joe's Crab Shack down the strip! Huh?!?! Might be a minute before we make this trip again.

We got there as they opened and sat at the booths near the bar. The server came over and being completely lukewarm; never gave her name or smiled. She took our order but never came back unless I motioned for her. Yet an older couple next to us received extra attention. She passed my table 3 x to get to them and never stopped by to ask if we were alright or if we needed anything. I won't spend my money with them anymore and I tipped her at 20% of the tab (was just lunch).

the L.I. blue point oysters were briny, fresh and melty. just perfect with a silver tequila on ice. blackened salmon was perfectly cooked, not overdone and well seasoned. lightly sauteed spinach and Neva’s Potatoes which are cheesy shredded potato baked in a small casserole dish which i totally recommend. finally, i went w/ the pecan & apple cobbler served warm with cinnamon ice cream. are you kidding me? two adults with drinks, appy & dessert - $75. i'll be back

The fish was excellent and it's a good value for the quality and freshness. Sides were great too! I've had two excellent experiences here: I highly recommend dining with them. It's big and nice inside and there's excellent outdoor seating in the summer too.
