Only gave it two stars instead of one because the alligator was great. Everything else was sub par. Our waitress was slow and never checked in to see if we needed anything. Small portions for price ( we were honestly expecting that ). Food really did suck. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re going for alligator. Atmosphere was cool, it was decorated so cool!

Our visit here was a very unique experience. We've been to several Bass Pro Shops and each location is setup differently, but we never expected to find one with a bowling alley! The atmosphere is really cool and definitely not like a more traditional alley. It would definitely a fun place to visit on a cold rainy day or for a birthday party with kids.

The server was great but that was about it. The food was a bit pricey but we figured it's a novelty thing so what the hell. To our displeasure the food was cold and missing ingredients. Don't expect to be back to eat anytime soon. Very disappointed.

I didn't actually eat here, but I did enjoy the movie Uncle Buck. If your restaurant is even half as good as John Candy you deserve the five stars. Maybe next time we pass through we'll stop in, I will however be a little disappointed if nothing is served with a snow shovel...

The reviews were dismal but seeing that they were posted back in 2016, I decided to give it a try. I purchased the Groupon coupon for 4. We have 2 very active boys, ages 2.5 and 7 so we decided to go first thing (10am) on a weekday. Wise decision! We had our lane immediately and out food was pizza was fresh and hot. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the concierge very knowledgeable and patient. The bowling place was kid friendly. The motif was really cool and interesting. We could just stay there the whole day if we wanted! With our Groupon the price was definitely affordable. Commendable!

Service was TERRIBLE our waitress was extremely grumpy and slow (we were the only people in there). We ordered the kids food first hoping it would come out quickly and before our meals, came with our food 40min later and all meals were cold and looked to be sitting out for a while.

There is a special on Fridays where you can get all you can eat fried fish and chips. They also have an all you can eat fried shrimp special. The eating area is right next to the bowling alley so it can be noisy. The waitstaff is inattentive and you have to constantly flag them down for every little thing. The food also takes a long time to come out so expect to wait for your meal. The food over all is decent.

Bad experience going there for lunch today. Took over 1.5 hours to get food after the waitress kept saying “2 more minutes” for 45 Minutes. We ordered 2 plain burgers. Pretty simple. Then she proceeded to tell us there was a large party before us and then the kitchen made the burgers wrong and had to redo it. The restaurant was Empty. To top it off I had my 2 year old who was starting to get tired from the wait as well. Ended up leaving without the food. Unacceptable. Would not recommend or go back!

Place has interesting/fun decor with bowling, & arcade. The food was good. Alligator tacos were very good. Wish the brisket mac n cheese had more brisket. Burger was nice size and juicy. Fried catfish was tasty. Service was good.

We drove 1.5 hours to the one in Bridgeport Ct today. There was no aquarium, just a disappointing fish tank in the attached Bass Pro shop. The atmosphere was cool but food was overpriced (8.50 for a pitcher of SODA) and portions a little small. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the kids enjoyed the arcade after we bowled. Not a long wait but we went early on a Monday (spring break for schools in MA). Decent experience but not worth the long drive- also the website should be updated to properly advertise what is actually there. Between 2.5-3 stars id say and really only because the kids had fun which is what matters most.

Bar right next door with a restaurant inside arcade room to the left with plenty to play. They sell Gator yes I got to try fried gator delicious taste like chicken. Brought Grandkids for Bowling & dinner. We were told5 hr wait to bowl, kids were very disappointed, 4 yr old started to cry. Need a solid Manger here to fix things as not all lanes open late afternoon /early evening Saturday. The reason I gave a 4 was thank god for our server Kareem who really did a great job getting drinks to the table, making sure table was clean & got our food out quickly & correctly. You can tell he is so much more than getting food out to tables, he delivers great service, a keeper and I manage people. Our food was good and priced fairly.

Food was horrible. Server apologized but that was it. Ordered medium rare it was all well done. Burgers were rubber and flavorless. Tasted freezer burned. Such a disappointment. I had friends with me I was hoping to share some good burgers with after a fun day in the store. The worst is when a manager knows the food was all wrong and horrible and instead of apologizing or fixing it says “everything ok” ? I just walked away.

First of all pur waitress was high as a kite, she made us repeat ourselves 5 times. There were two families ahead of us and we got our food before both of them, and we got their food instead of ours. I got fish and chips which were good, but the n but cut day guess who got food poisoning!? Me. Very disappointed in this place, we heard good reviews from friends. Shame on you. We had an amazing experience here today! The kids had so much fun and loved the food! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. There was a bit of a wait and they even called us on the phone so we wouldn’t lose our place in line. We will definitely be back and make this a family hangout!

First, atmosphere and service was excellent, definitely family friendly and comfortable, our waitress couldn't have been better. But the food was mediocre to poor quality. I had a burger, no doubt it was a frozen patty, for $11 I really expect a fresh made burger. At the price point Uncle Buck's charges, much better quality at local Mom&Pop's with a similar pub based menu. Other than service, the food was disappointing, probably won't go again.

This place i has the worse service was there on weds place was slow there were like 4 other lanes being used it was 430 in the afternoon we used a groupon for two hours and didn’t use the whole time the lane we were given the seats had big rip in it waited for ever for our sodas then wanted to order some appitizers no one showed up even after asking the front counter person to send someone there were like three or four wait staff just walking around and talking to each other they never even picked up from the previous people that used the lane we were on spoke to manager on the way out he seemed to not even care even with a groupon it’s not worth the money never gong back .

EEEWWWW!!! Cool concept but the food and service was horrible. The plates sounded good but to say they were disappointing would be generous. Staff was slow and careless. Messed up a few things and had no clue what they were doing. Place is trash. With all the waiting we had to do i had half a mind to walk back in the kitchen and start putting out tickets myself just to teach them something. And honestly i don't think anyone would say anything because i really don't think they have any managment. Just read the reviews. They seem to have to apologize a lot.

I was visiting family this Easter weekend and we decided to take advantage of the spring sales and investigate since we hadn’t gotten a change to go there. I’m glad we did! I got the all-you-can-eat shrimp special and the cole-slaw that came with it was surprisingly good. The fries were so-so, but the shrimp came out hot and crispy every time. I ended up having three plates to satisfy myself. For $8.99, it was a good price. The bowling was a ton of fun (though the lanes may need some matainence for serious bowlers) and I love the pay-by-the-hour setup. My sister beat me three times and I still had a blast. Plus the themeing is really nice. The fish are beautiful. In all, it was a really great evening and great bonding time with my sister and mother.

Visited from south carolina so i know a good red fish if i taste it. Nice staff and very pleasant atmosphere. You hear the noise from the bowling games going on next door but thats alright since the name states that its a bowling center as well. Thanks for a good meal!

Ambience is lovely, and that is why I have this place a star...otherwise it doesn't warrant a star. We went to bowl only to find out you need reservations, but you can't make them in person, only online. We decided to eat while there and after almost 30 minutes I received the water I ordered...from previous experience I can say that this is normal, and the food is average at best on a good day (And that is being extremely generous) I would recommend walking through the room to enjoy the decor on your way to somewhere else.

Hosted my child’s birthday party there and was very disappointed... Our waitress was great and very nice but the pizza was not very good. When I reserved the party, the lady told me it was $130 for the little guppies package and I called on 3 different occasions and confirmed price then when I went to pay they told me it was $160. They shut down our lanes before we could finish our first game. And when I spoke to a manager, she was very rude and rolled her eyes at me and the only thing she could do was shrug her shoulders at me. Was very disappointed for my first time being there.

The bowling was great. Not a fan of paying by time rather than per game. My it is were pretty upset getting cut off in the middle of the game. The food was horrible. The adult food was cold, and horrible. Kids pizza my son said was the best pizza he's had. So it seems hit or miss. Do love that kids eat free till Christmas Eve. Definitely pros and cons. But we will come back and give it another chance. I was a little bummed to see the only real fish were the ones in the tank at the bar. From the website it seemed as if there would be large thanks with many fish to see. Not at all. Just a handful of real fish.

I'll start by saying this, bowling is expensive and purchased in time slots rather than 10 frame games. The aquarium design and lighting is very cool, however very little thought was put into designing the room for acoustics so it's loud in the restaurant and it hinders conversation. As for the restaurants food quality, I'm sad to say that I would rather eat McDonalds. Prices are high, the food has an unbearable amount of salt on it, and the presentation of the food is embarrassing. I was almost wondered if the pasta was dished out to the plate via layup or served up from the three-point line. Also, here's a tip - if the food is hot on the outside but colder in the center it was likely microwaved. I don't know about you, but if I wanted a microwaved meal I would have saved my money and done it myself. On the bright side, it's loud enough that you won't have to listen the microwave beeping from the kitchen! $$$$ High Prices

We were party of 12, after I asked if needed to call a heard or reservation. I was told first come first served. We had to wait for 3 hours after told that would be 2 it seemed they keep skiping our group. When I asked we were simply stated a party just walked in and they were priority. When we get to play, our lane keep getting interrupted.

Uncle Buck's fishbowl is located at Bass pro shops in Peoria Illinois the restaurant has a bowling alley in it it has painted scenery beautiful murals and not only that but the selection ther the selection there for their cuisine is p hello I would thoroughly recommend going going to the restaurant

The facility is cool with an underwater theme. They said usually on weekends they have 2 hour wait and you have to just walk around the Bass pro store connected to it while you wait. The price is pretty expensive for everything. I am never picky with taste of restaurant food but have eaten the food twice at Bucks and have hated it both times. The pizza tasted like plain bread. The staff is really nice though and we had fun bowling for the night. You can buy food and drinks while you bowl. They sometimes have a Groupon deal too.

Had my daughters 12th birthday party here rented the back room with the pool table had 24 guests and everyone had a great time ... food drinks & service are 5 star ! This was the best time we've ever had bowling!!! The big fish party package is the way to go it's worth every dollar & the waitress the helped our party was the best . We'll be going again forsure

Our family of 14 checked in at 11:15 a.m. to enjoy bowling and lunch. previously I had requested to make reservations and they told me that they weren't accepting reservations. It was first come, first serve. We had to wait about 45 minutes for 2 lanes that were given to us dirty. We ordered 3 pizzas and two pitchers of Pop 4 hamburgers, a salad, alligator tacos, and some boneless chicken wings. I had to persistently pursue the waitress for the pitchers of soda. 45 minutes later the pop arrived saying they were short pitchers as the explanation. We also had to go find our own silverware and glasses because we were never provided these even though we asked 2 times. I asked to speak with a manager. Devin, a nice young man presented himself as the "lead" because there apparently wasn't a manager on duty at 1:30 PM on this Saturday before Christmas. I spent about $185 and we were treated to very poor service without any service/recovery offered even though I made the staff aware of my dissatisfaction. I was embarrassed for the negative experience for my family who traveled to visit us for the weekend and Christmas. I would not recommend as a group event.

Food was overcooked waitress kept forgetting about us. The overpriced prime rib was so over done they should have brought out ketchup for it. Wife ordered the endless shrimp, got 6 shrimp and kept trying to get a second serving when they finally got to the table they were cold.

It was a really fun evening! We used a Groupon to get an hour of bowling with pizza and drinks. The wait to bowl was DEFINITELY long, but didn’t feel like it. In the meantime we shopped, looked at the museum quality displays, played the arcade, and had fish and a fish bowl drink, which I rarely find. Overall a fun experience!

We went there yesterday, & we also waited in line for 25 mins got there about 15 mins after it opened. Then waited 20 mins to be seated then waited 15 mins before any one came to our Table. The Food was bad I ordered pasta & it was DRY & they fried it. what? judging by the reviews im surprised people still go there. 4 hour wait to Bowl said we said forget that. The place is decorated nice that's all they got going for them.

This place has so much potential, And very nicely done. However, very slow waitstaff. Had to pay 3.50 to rent a pair of shoes plus 25$ for an hour to bowl. We shared a very tight space with another group. No room and garbage from two groups before us. Would be acceptable if we didn't have to wait an hour and a half to bowl.

Stopped during a road trip because we had a Groupon for bowling, never got to bowl as they were booked straight through closing time. Staff was completely unapologetic and acted like we should have known they'd be booked, there was nothing on the Groupon or website indicating reservations were required. I asked if we could at least look inside since we were hours from home and wouldn't be able to return, and was told no. My husband spoke with someone in the shopping area and apparently they were NEVER busy until they did the Groupon, so it worked for them but also gave the staff a bad attitude. I gave 2 stars because the store attached to the bowling place was actually really cool and fun to walk around, kinda cushioned the blow of not getting to bowl.

I almost didn’t go to Uncle Bucks because of the reviews I was reading. I am so glad I went! My mom is a huge fishing fanatic so we thought this would be a great place to bring her for Mother’s Day. We were seated in the dining area by the fireplace and we loved our table. Our server was wonderful and attentive as well! This place is so pleasing on the eye and the decor is phenomenal! If you’re looking for a place to eat that has a unique ambience then this is the place to go. The kiddos will love it too. We also enjoyed the cocktail menu. I tried the fish bowl and it was delicious. I would most def go back again.

NO SERVICE FOR THOSE WHO SERVED My brother and I are US Vetererans. Between us we have over 30 years of service. We were nicely greeted and escorted to a table as well as informed about our military discount. However, a waiter or waitress never came by to take our order. The restaurant was only occupied by a couple waiting on their check and a family of 4! We decided to move to the bar Although, the bartender seemed to be too busy chatting with two friends and just ignored us . I decided to go over and asked her to take our order. During the time we were sitting waiting for our order to arrive we were ignored by three waiters helping themselves to free drinks from the soda fountain. There was no surprise when Our orders never arrived. Seemingly, veterans presence is not welcomed here. Therefore, We left.

The concept was beautifully designed to feel as if you were under the sea. The service though felt lack luster and as if you were on a sinking ship. Marcia at the front desk would not make eye contact when bringing us through the process of redeeming out Groupon and acted as if this was a bother. We never used Groupon before and did not know how it was to be redeemed. Our deal was 2 hours of bowling, 6 pairs of shoes and 2 pitchers of soda or beer. We ordered soda. We were told a server would confirm our order of the soda. We played bowling for 45 min. Then I realized someone didn't bring the pitchers or took an order. I stopped a man named, Dan. He said he would find our server. Our server was Autumn. She was not very helpful. After she came with the pitchers of soda she never gave us cups. I got our cups, napkins and place settings. When our game stoped due to a glitch. Autumn was clearly upset we asked for help. She did get the game to start again but had to clear the gutters and add more time to our rental time. The food we ordered took over another 45 min. No body took owner ship. It was just frustrating.

I would say as far as the look and feel of the place is great you have a great visual of the fish and animals hanging around from above also the lights that make everything better....But on the other hand the downside would be the long wait time to get a lane especially on super busy weekends plus it's hard to get your drink or food in a timely manner so you should expect to bother them for it or just wait a long time ...

Part or the Bass store, nicely decorated, make you feel like you are in an aquarium. Bowling alleys incorporated into ambience, great for children-(although I didn't notice the kids menu). Our family was so excited to stop here in our way home from Maine to Virginia. It took us about 5 hours to get here and we were sooooo ready to stretch our legs and eat some food. We were very disappointed. We did an hour of bowling, food, and a few arcade games. My husband runs a very successful boutique bowling alley so my kids and I are familiar with how things work in this kind of environment. When we entered the establishment we were asked if we were dining or bowling, we let the host know we’d like to do both. It took a bit to get our shoes as she was tending to other things at the counter, the manager was speaking to a couple about their unpleasant experience. Once we got to our lane our server came over to take our drink orders. She was very pleasant and was sure to engage our kids, something I think is very important in a place like this. We got our drinks promptly. We placed our food order and waited....and bowled...and waited...it took nearly 40 mins to get our food! By this time our kids were HANGRY! they didn’t want to bowl any more because they were hungry and cranky. The food y’all.... I can’t even think of a word to describe how awful it was. The kids portions were tiny! They got like 6 French fries, I’m not even joking. My husband has never ever sent food back.....his chicken sandwich was so over cooked he could hardly choke down one bite. We asked our server to take it back. She was very sweet about it and insisted he get something else, so he ordered a burger. It was mediocre, at best. All this food drama while we are trying to enjoy a game of bowling. After he finished eating we asked for our check, the server explained she was able to take the chicken sandwich off but we had to pay for the burger because she wasn’t a manger or something. No problem! We had been looking forward to going here for so long and we were so disappointed. The food was just awful, the lack of management presence to handle situations like this was sad, not that I would want to admit I was in charge of such a terrible kitchen. The bowling itself was ok, it’s definitely novelty bowling. I don’t think the lanes have ever seen oil. The arcade was huge but costly. I’m sad to say we will not be back....

We went here to play bowl with the kids. Bought the Groupon coupons online to play bowl. Arrived on Saturday afternoon, had to wait approximately two hours till our turn. The bowling lanes is not too many, but the aquatic theme decorations is marvelous. It is worthy to go there for the experience and take a cool looking picture with all the aquatic fish decorations above you. It is a very crowded place, prepare to have a wait. They provide a comfortable waiting chairs on the hall way near the entrance. It is located together with the Bass Pro Shops as well as the restaurant. While you wait for your turn to play bowl, you could go to the huge and massive bass fish aquarium located all the way in back of the Bass Pro Shop. During the weekend they do a live feed show, where you can have your turn to feed the fish. It is a really fun and free experience.

Beautifully decorated. However we weren't allowed to bowl because they were full for the night. Offered a "maybe you'll get in if someone cancels" waiting list and they don't take reservations. If you are willing to go very early and wait a few hours give it a try. When asked when they got busy so I could plan better next time I was given a snotty answer by another employee. Not the best service by any means.

The atmosphere was fun and colorful. But that was where it ended. We sat by the windows where it was drafty and freezing cold. Our 18 month old was shivering even after we moved towards the middle. Service was slow, but the waitress was very nice. The food was pretty awful. The burgers were quite obviously frozen patties and were greasy. The soup was fresh from a can. The fries were the only good part of the meal. The whole restaurant came off like a Chili's with the fun menu and great decor. But they fell flat on their faces when trying to pull off a good burger. This was my first and last visit.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Waited almost 2 hours after being told it would be an hour wait for bowling. Went to the desk and asked, told I would have to wait another 20 minutes and that they had texted me. Despite having no blocks on my phone & my husband, who’s on the same plan with the same style phone, received the text our dining table was ready without issue. Requested a discount because even when the woman at the desk read the phone number, she read it wrong. It’s all their input. They input the number wrong reading a 7 as a 1. And refused to admit their error and refused to do anything other than stick us on the next lane if we continued to wait. Not like we drove an hour to get there or anything... oh wait, we did.

Uncle Bucks typically has anywhere between a 1 and 6 your wait to bowl on the weekends. Do not waste your time even trying to go on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday at any time unless you get there right when the doors open.

We ordered the all you can eat shrimp and also the fish. The fish was way too greasy, it was saturated with oil. The cheesecurds were very good. It definitely is family friendly. I doubt we will return because the food wasn't up to par.

The place is really cool. I love the decoration and the feeling of "being in the ocean". There was no waiting time when I was there on a Wednesday night in a group of 4. The only thing that kind of disappointed me was the pizza. I didnt know how many pizzas I should order for my group so I asked what size it was and the waitress said 24 slices. I thought 1 pizza would be more than enough in that case, but when it came it was really small. It was cut in 24 tinny squares... Of course it wasn't enough food for all of us, but it's ok because didn't taste good anyways. I do not recommend the pizza from this place at all, but I would totally go back and try other stuff from the menu.

I brought my family here on a Wednesday in June after my sons kindergarten graduation I am so glad that I did not listen to the reviews and just decided to make my own judgement this place is awesome the food was beyond great the amount and prices were great and we used the 2hr bowling Groupon so we ate while we bowled we had so much fun the staff were so sweet and accommodating the only staff member that i can say anything negative about is the guy with a beard he seemed pretty rude and upset to have customers he might have been a manager not sure however the rest of the staff especially the girl in the front went above and beyond our expectations so his negative attitude didn’t ruin our fun it’s a small bowling alley so don’t expect to get seated right away on a weekend it’s best on a weekday I would definitely go back and the place itself is gorgeous this was a great find and well worth every penny

Really didn't care for my dining experience here. I went with a group of 6 that eat here every year after their pilgrimage to Bass pro. They've always raved about the place, great food and service, ECT. We walked in, they noticed the layout has changed, which they approved of and the bowling lanes were full of people. However, that was about it for positive experiences, the food took well over an hour to come out, the wait staff was hard to find for anything, even refills. The food just didn't taste fresh, like it had that stale frozen food taste, especially the pizza. The burgers were okay, fish and chips were generous but slightly undercooked inside, the only good thing to come out of the kitchen was the fish taco which looked and tasted amazing. Overall, very disappointed.

By far best bartender we have ever had! Went in on Friday night and she was not only friendly with a great sense of humor, but very fast. She kept our drinks full and was very attentive while serving tables as well. I ordered the Bloody Mary my friend ordered the fishbowl, both were great! We went here specifically for their lunch shrimp special. We had enjoyed this on our last visit several months ago. The shrimp is awesome here, fresh and served hot and crispy. Would highly recommend giving this a try. They have an extensive menu, but, so far, we have stuck with the shrimp. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is that the restaurant is combined with a bowling alley, so can be a bit noisy at times.

If it was based on the food the quality of the food or the quality of the menu or the quality of the website, those items would have gotten one star from me. We were here from out of town and killing time. Looked up their website to see how interesting it would to stop in. Saw a pic posted re their happier hour. Went in and ordered 2 drinks and were charged regular price. Asked the server and she said they had changed the hours and we missed it by 30 minutes. She talked to the manager who told us she has no access to the website and neither does corporate to take down pics that portray inaccurate information. She said she couldn't even adjust it to the advertised price. She was able to take off $5 but it was still more than we had planned to spend. Not happy when we left.

We visit Uncle Buck's Fishbowl and Grill after shopping, tired and weary we saw the sign “ All you can eat SHRIMP 9.99 what a deal, yummy, my wife and I ordered the same thing as it sounded so good. Full of anticipation my plate came out with a huge plate of FRIES and 4 shrimp, 4 shrimp, I explained to my sever I was interested in eating lots of shrimp not fries. It turned into a real joke with my server bringing out 5 shrimp at a time, she told me the kitchen would only send out 5 shrimp each time. The morale to the story f you want to eat shrimp go somewhere where they honor the signs and advertisements.

We paid $10/person to have our game be buggy the entire time. An employee went and reset the system and said she would add more time to our game and never did. We also had to press “service” three times to get a waitress to come over. When she finally did (keep in mind there were only two tables in the whole restaurant she was attending to) she had a terrible attitude and acted like she couldn’t be bothered. We feel like we wasted our money and afternoon here. If employees here put forth at least a 20% effort here, there’d be great service.

Bowling was fun but don’t eat here. First our lane was super filthy with dirty plates and dirty cups. There was even pieces of pizza sitting by our seats. When our pizza came, the waiter placed it on the table which was full of the dirty plates and cups and they didn’t even bother to clean it up. I had to track a staff member down so that I can get plates, napkins and the pitcher of soda. The pizza looked sketchy which I didn’t eat but my son felt sick right after eating it. He kept complaining about his belly and as soon as we walked out the door he threw up and continued the whole night like that. I think more attention should be placed on customer service and cleanliness. I would go back for bowling but no eating for us!

What a horrible experience I had with my mother, my 4 year old nephew and my 3 year old son. Was an hour wait to get a lane. The staff were not helpful at all when asked about the bowling balls. They had said that there was 6 bowling ramps for the children but there was only 2 available on site. This is a children's place bowl. It's not fair to have to share between lanes when your paying (overpriced) for a lane. When we asked to speak to a manager she seemed like she didn't give a damn as well. Very unprofessional. Will not recommend this place

Great atmosphere, good food, good service depending on when you go. I arrived around 730 on a Saturday night and was told there’d be a three hour wait for bowling. They closed around the time the wait would be over so we didn’t bother with the bowling. We instead went in and ordered food at the bar, the bartenders took forever to come over and offer drinks, but the food came out pretty quick and wasn’t bad. We ordered the alligator tacos & brisket nachos with a beer & soda. We played in the arcade for a few minutes and left. I’d probably come back here again just to attempt the bowling, only because the place is decorated incredibly. It’s like the inside of a captains ship but also feels like you’re underwater at the same time.

This place was a huge disappointment. The service was unacceptable. The facility has great potential, but it is so poorly run. As first time (and last time customers), we arrived and didn't know how everything operated. We told them we wanted to bowl and eat dinner. We were under the impression there was a restaurant as we saw a menu online and a barlike area when we arrived. The "hostess" or cashier told us it would be a 10-15 minute wait while they cleaned up a lane. That would have been fine with us as a warning on the website mentioned a potential 1-4 hour wait for a lane. About 25 minutes later, we were given our shoes and our lane. The bowling was fun, except we were we all distracted trying to flag down anyone to get us food. After 40 minutes of waiting for a menu, our bowling lane broke down just as we finished our first game. Despite having another 20 minutes on our clock for the lane, we decided to leave. We were too hungry. One young man, who actually appeared to be working there, offered us an additional half hour on the lane. Kudos to him. Everyone else should be fired.

Not worth the trip, maybe if your local but I would never go again .. after waiting almost 10 minutes for someone to come over to the the table the waitress came over to tell us it would be another 5 minutes before actually getting to us. At that point I stated we had already been sitting for almost 10 minutes and had not even been offered drinks. I understand there was some kind of party going on but if that’s the case they should have been staffed better. It was extremely disappointing and the waitress and the hostess could have cared less they were losing customers . The only one who showed any concern was the guy who sat us. It was quite disgraceful. In addition the tables were filthy with food from other people that looked like it had been sitting there for some time. All around pretty terrible experience and we walked out.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We ate there tonight (4 adults, 3 kids) and it was one of the worst experiences of dining I’ve ever had. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks, one of which was sent back twice, both times came back incorrect. The food took over an hour and a half. When it finally came out, it was terrible. Cold, over salted, and awful. If we weren’t already staving from waiting for so long, we would have sent everything back. But my kids had turned into raging lunatics at that point from sitting in a restaurant for TWO HOURS. It was laughable with everyone in the dining area, as we all waited and waited.... and waited for our food. And let me tell you, it was not worth the wait! A helpful tip: there’s a Chipotle across the parking lot. Save your sanity and go there instead!!

Got a groupon to take son and his friends. Overall the experience was positive but place is seriously understaffed. We waited so long for our orders at the lane and finally ended up cancelling the order. Waitress checked on us like once in 2 hrs.

My burger was greasy and unpleasant, but the real problem is the absolute lack of customer service. They told us the wait to bowl was one hour. After an hour and forty five minutes we asked what the delay was and they told us it would be another 20-30 minutes. The managers as also Rude and absolutely no help whatsoever. I would not recommend this to anyone.

This location in Bridgeport Connecticut has a good atmosphere but we waited two and a half hours to bowl and our food was terrible we decided to grab a couple drinks at the bar and had nachos and wings and they were dry and terrible they tasted old and then we had pizza which was included in our bowling and it was awful as he pizza tasted like it wasn't even heated it literally tasted like it wasn't even heated.

Had my kid's party at the bowling alley which was fun, but don't expect any help, or much service at all. Good luck getting it booked in the first place. If you get your call returned consider yourself lucky. When so many reviews mention lazy workers, playing on their cell phones you know there must be some truth to it, and that's exactly what we experienced. The only up side is the parties are very inexpensive, again, if you can actually get one booked. Just be prepared to run the entire party yourself.

Read about this place in "TIME OUT".They are telling you you will be bowling under 750 gallon fish tank with tropical fish,sting Ray's etc. and the pictures looked awsome.So being that it was spring break from school we loaded grandson and his visiting cousins out of state and vent on a 1hr 45 min ride You can imagine how many times I've heard are we there yet also having Nintendo, cellphones to play We got there there is no aquarium. This bowling alley was incredible. I drove from NYC about an hour and a half just cause I wanted to take my kids there and I most say, it was totally worth it. I love the way everything looks. Service was on point, food/drinks was good and my kids absolutely loved the place which was what I wanted. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great time, specially those with kids.

Staff was friendly and helpful. But the corporate decision to no longer honor any of the bowling coupons was not good business decision. If they wanted to discontinue the program they should have stopped giving out new ones and and honored the ones people already had. The coupons had no expiration date but your business we me has expired with your poor business decision.

My family and I stopped in to eat, to kill time for our 1.5 hour wait to see Santa, at the Altoona location. What a mistake that was. We waited half an hour just for the waitress to come take our drink order. Mind you, it wasn’t even close to being busy. Not one of the employees looked like they were in any sort of hurry or want to be there. The waitress finally came over and she acted like she didn’t care to take our order. It literally took us almost the full hour and a half to get through our time there. All we had were two kids meals, a sandwich and catfish. I can tell you that we will not be returning. Sadly, I’ve had two other not so great experiences there so it solidified my reasoning for not returning.

Service is mediocre but both times we ate there the food was terrible. I tried to order a salad with Caesar dressing and was told if I wanted any dressing other than the vinaigrette that came on it, it was an extra $2. My wife had the grouper sandwich, and the fish tasted like cheap, strong flavored catfish or something, not even remotely close to grouper.

I'm giving it 2 stars for the decor and our awesome waitress. The food was mediocre at best, the bowling staff was incredibly rude because we had a Groupon, she said it would be 2 or 3 hours before we could bowl, putting us at 9 pm at the earliest, there were 2 open lanes, so we went back to our hotel. My grandkids are 8, 5, and 2, it was a family birthday party that was way less special because of being unable to bowl.

Staff was friendly enough but the food came out cold and I threw it all back up 3 hours later. That's the first time I've ever failed to keep food down while being perfectly healthy. I felt absolutely fine once it was no longer in my system, so I'm doubting it was me. All three of us that went got sick to some degree. Called the next day the person I talked to said that the beer cheese needed to be kept on the cooler side to not burn, but I'd rather eat burnt cheese and keep it down. They said they'd do something for us considering for 3 meals and an appetizer was 50 dollars. Gave them a month and never got back to me. Now I work in the service business and I hate getting bad reviews, but this is a major problem and I gave them plenty of chance to make it right. If you get anything out of this it should be this: save the money for the fishing gear and don't eat here.

Sorry for the 1 star and this has nothing to do with the food since I didn't even get to eat. 1 star because the hostess that "helped" me was the rudest I have ever encountered, she was working 1/4/19 at around 6 pm. I had a groupon and nowhere in there says you have to eat and bowl at the same time, so she says the wait is 1hr and a half for an open lane, I asked if we could eat while 1 opened and she immediately yelled at me as if I had to know that rule, I then went to ask about ages of children and prices, she kept talking over me and I finally said thank you for your helped and walked away. I would really like to try it, but I will not if the hostess is there.

I really enjoy coming here. The service isn't always super speedy, but it's good. They have good fish items and whoever I eat here with always enjoys what they get. I don't think I've ever heard any complaints. Will continue to drop into Uncle Bucks once in a while for a tasty meal.

This was our first time visiting. Very clean and got right in. Waitress was right there to take our drink order. We paid for an hour of bowling and the lane hung up on us once. Lost a couple of minutes while they to fixed it, but we we got the time added back in. That was awesome. It was a great experience and the kids LOVED it. Great ambiance like you are underwater. I highly recommend this for a family outing, date night, or just a bowling excursion.

We had one waitress bring us our drinks and tell us our waitress would be right with us. Almost 15 minutes later we had to flag down a different staff member to ask if our waitress would be coming over. She finally showed up to take our order after a few more minutes. Our appetizers, even though they were incredibly over priced, were good. My drink was watered down, so I paid over $8 for the worst mojito I've ever had. The bacon on my husband's burger was like rubber. My daughter ordered the brisket Mac and cheese which had approximately 10 tiny pieces of brisket. The waitress checked on us 1 time, and then not again until we asked for our check. We had to ask twice for to-go boxes. We will not be returning. If we're going to spend $70 on a meal, we'll go somewhere with good food and an attentive wait staff.

Check out the fish tank but don't stay to eat or drink. Ordered a mojito drink off the menu but was told they didn't have everything to make it. Then ordered a hurricane off the menu that tasted like a cheap vodka lemonde drowned in sugar. The long island from the menu tasted like nothing but sweet and sour drink mix. Well known drinks that are on your menu should at least somewhat taste how it's suppose to. The nachos arrived with cold cheese sauce, chips that were hard and tasteless. I was expecting a way better experience than this. It was very disappointing. It's a cool atmosphere but they really need to work on the food and drink part.

The food was priced like nice restaurant food but the portions and quality of food was worse than fast food by a long shot. Food has gone down hill. Greasy and bland. Tastes horrible. Pretty hard to make broccoli taste like fish but they sure did here. I used to love the food here but clearly they have a chef in the kitchen that just doesn’t care about serving good food. I think my dog could have cooked more appetizing food! Waitress didn’t even give silverware until we asked for it. Steak was cold. Potatoes were paste. Just not worth the 15 dollars I spent on a 7oz cold, soggy sirloin. Ugh such a disappointment!

Very cool atmosphere and setup. Good food choices. Terrible staff. There was a 2.5-3 hour wait for bowling, so we were going to eat and then walk around. It was busy so we ate at the bar which was empty when we sat down. We were there two hours to eat, everything took forever... I'm pretty sure the bartender only cared to serve single men. She barely paid us any attention. I had to ask for refills and our check. The food was mediocre at best. We then went to bowl and were supposed to have a pitcher of beer and a pitcher of soda. A server was supposed to come by for our order. I instead had to go hunt someone down at the bar but she could only get me beer. So I got a pitcher of beer. And then we had to hunt someone down for soda all during our hour of bowling. Then the bowling lane is so slow to setup the pins that we barely got to bowl between how slow the machine was and how awful the staff was. I wouldn't waste my money going back to this place. It was cute but just not worth it.

We planned an aquarium themed weekend with our toddler. First we saw the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk and then we headed over to Uncle Buck's for bowling but ended up going to the restaurant. We purchased a Groupon deal for the bowling section but we were told that the wait would be 3+ hours. So instead we headed over to the restaurant section. After reading a lot of reviews, I have to admit that I was a bit leery to try this place. I am so glad that we did decide to go! My family of 5 went yesterday on a rainy afternoon/evening during the week. We called ahead of time to see what the wait time was for the bowling because I had read in reviews that there could be a long wait. There was no wait yesterday! We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 hour of bowling. At one point our lane stopped working and management fixed it within a few minutes and set our time clock back a few minutes so we didn’t lose any of our paid hour. After bowling, we ate in the restaurant and the food was very good and well priced. Our waitress was very attentive. I had the brisket sandwich and it was so tender that could cut it with a fork! After eating we played in the arcade. One of the games was not working correctly. We told an employee who credited us back on our game card. When we went to collect our prizes from the arcade, my children took a long time in choosing what they wanted. I was so impressed with the employee checking us out because he was so patient and friendly with my children. After the arcade, we walked around the entire Bass Pro shop and every employee we encountered was smiling and friendly. I would definitely go back to this place!

I was here for my nephew's 10th birthday party. It's a pretty cool place for kids with the bowling alley and all the games like a Chuck E. Cheese. His party had the pizza supplied from them and it was not that good. I'm sure it's fine for kids as they ate it no problem but, it was a step below school cafeteria pizza for me. Food isn’t that great! Had a Groupon deal and took advantage of that. Bowling was fun when the lanes worked properly. Most of the associates are polite and helpful. One associate cursed and blamed us for the lane stopping but it clearly wasn’t our fault because once the “issue” was resolved the lane still kept shutting down. We lost about 30 minutes of bowling time, which you can ask for back but we didn’t bother due to the lack of service towards the end of our visit. Plus we used a groupon so we weren’t at a loss totally but still could’ve been better. I may come back. The arcade is fun but not much prize options.

I always come to bass pro and the store is awesome. Everyone raves about the restaurant so we figured we would give it a try let me just say the experience and food was awful! I walked in and told the hostess that there was six adults and three children and they gave us a table for only six people in total. The manager advised us the restaurant was full and no other tables would be available for another half hour. Two people and one child in our party ended up leaving so we stayed at the table they originally gave us. The restaurant has awesome decor for the kids but thats about it. Our waitress was very slow and had no personality at all. We ordered burgers to keep it simple, my daughters was dripping in grease my sister ordered hers medium well and it came out pretty much raw we told the waitress she appologized and walked away did not take it off the bill so we had to ask her to (so then the manager ended up taking it off the bill eventually) my burger was the WORST burger Ive ever had in my life but since i didnt eat all day i just ate it and that was a huge mistake because my stomach hasn't stopped hurting and my fiancee felt the same about his burger . The rest of the food that came out to our table was awful as well, the fries were soggy and greasy it was just not a good experience. I would not eat here ever again or recommend this restaurant to anyone either ill only go to bass bro to shop not dine.

Worst experience ever waited over an hour to be seated then waited over 20 minutes for someone to come to our table when we finally ordered my food was never brought to the table but everyone in my party was served and ate and I still did not get my food I'm disappointed in the service maybe the owner should ask RAMSEY for HELP!! I want to say thank you to Kareem and Levon for even acknowledging our frustration and catering to my party you 2 gentleman are very appreciated and will go far in the restaurant business if you go to a better establishment I do not recommend anyone to visit this establishment oh and the ladies bathroom is beyond disgusting

I have been bowling at the Fish bowl before with my daughter and we had a great time. So yesterday I was passing by and decided to stop in with a friend. We ordered the nachos. It was $8 and came with toppings. Waitress then asked if we wanted pulled pork or chicken with it. I didn't realize it came with meat for that price so that's where I should of been skeptical lol the order came out in under 5mins.. also another bad sign lol. The cheese on them was by far the worst refrigerated melted cheese I have ever tasted along with the worst chunks of chicken. Half was still cold because it was obviously stuff out of a can. I should of known for that price it wouldn't be good but I can't believe they would even bother serving something so terrible. I love bass pro shop and the drinks and waitress were wonderful along with the bowling so that is why they got 3 stars. But steer clear of the food!

Sat us at a table and took drink order they brought out one extra soda and took Appetizer order. Appetizers were out quickly. Took our food order and all came out together my brisket Mac and cheese was cold I had to find waitress and ask her to warm up. She brought it back it was headed up it was hotter but dry no extra cream put in nothing. Very disappointed in the portion size for 13.00 and not creamy nada

The staff was AMAZING (ask for Heather)!!! I went there for my sons birthday and they were extremely accommodating and attentive. Normal Thursday lunch, only one server. Lunch took 30 minutes to arrive even after we told the server at the start that we needed to eat and leave quickly. Ordered a Cobb salad, was given a Caesar salad instead. Overpriced for quality of salad. Would not recommend at all.

Make sure you purchase a Groupon deal before visiting the location. Makes your visit worth, by just paying the taxes as extra. The atmosphere is really cool and the bowling lanes are mostly occupied with family (with kids). Arcade games also have some unique options and there is a separate dining area and a bar. No complaints on the service - food, drinks, lane issues etc..But for some reason the lanes are blocked as first come first serve and the tentative time given in their app is not that accurate. So if you are not planning to arrive by the opening slots, be prepared to wait for 2 hours and shop around in the stores inside the complex.

We came to dine on a Friday night for dinner. The special is "All you can eat fried shrimp" (frozen) my wife and I both ordered it. The first batch delivered was so hard we almost broke a tooth. I mentioned it, when the 2nd batch came they were served softer but opaque raw inside. I showed the Manager and he was nice enough to refund our money. Moral of the story - do not order fried shrimp

I suggest putting your name in as soon as you arrive. The food was good . We had the calamari as an appetizer. The fish tacos were excellent. The server at the desk was difficult to understand her speech. I didn't understand what she was saying and I asked her 3 times? I asked my GF and she couldn't understand her as well. The bowling was fun . We had a groupon and you should too.

Went here originally for the alligator because of how its cooked so perfect and always served with that delicious sauce. We ended up having a fishbowl trying their alligator mac n cheese and had their fish. Oh my lord, the chef in there must really have a hand for whipping up excellent food. On top of that the whole interior of the bowling alley and restaurant are handpainted! The bowling I'll tell ya, is just as good as their food.

I ordered a burger and instead of fries I opted for onion rings for an extra $2, the waitress brought me 5 onion rings. Yeah 5 onion rings. I asked and the new waitress said she questioned the onion rings too. Anyway be aware of this issue that needs to be changed. The manager did make it right, but seriously 5 onion rings!!! 2 stars for an alright burger.

We’ve driven by this place for years during our holiday travel and I’ve always wanted to stop. Last night we ate at Uncle Buck’s, and it was a huge disappointment. The service was fair, the food was overpriced for what it was. Our salads both had brown lettuce. A really big let down during our trip. We have BPS in Oklahoma so I expected better from a company I’m familiar with.

We arrived and they said the wait time was gonna be about 30 minutes. Okay cool. But as we were walking out there were ten tables that could be seen from the entrance. So we get seated after our wait and the waitress was nice. But after about ten minutes of not seeing her, we ran out of drinks. The Manager had to get us refills. We just left there and was very frustrating to try to bowl with a group of children that had no courtesy for others. The adults did not keep them off the lanes and the staff made no attempt to correct the situation. Was not happy with the fact that the lanes seemed to have no oil and the pin changer and ball return were extremely slow. I will say the decor was very nice and the staff were friendly but the timed bowling along with the slow pin setter and slow ball return made it impossible to even bowl 2 games. The nice family next to us did say the pizza was delicious . I don't see us going back . .

One of the WORST dining/gaming experiences of my life. Our family drove 2 hours to eat at the location in East Peoria, IL. When we first entered the establishment at around 4 pm, we were told that there would be a 15 minute wait which was fine with us. However, we asked if we could go ahead an order our food so that our 2 children could go ahead and eat and the cashier told us no, not until we were checked in for bowling. The cashier gave us our buzzer and we went and sat down. 30 minutes have now past. I had my fiancé go check to see how much longer the wait was and we were told 10 mins. 20 minutes goes by and we are still waiting. Finally I told my fiancé to forget the bowling because our children needed to eat because it was 5 pm, which then upset the children. He went to the cashier about to tell him we were going to bypass bowling and go eat, but finally they had a lane ready? We go to sit down and we notice that lane 1 had the table already full of their food, which lane 1 and lane 2 share a table. We notice that there are 5 lanes on the left side available, which #1 made us question why we had to wait an hour to bowl. We than asked if we could switch to lane 3 so that us and our children had room to eat and we were told no because of a "party" that was going to take up 4 lanes. We ended up making due with the room we had and started to bowl. You would think that with paying $50+ for bowling that you would be able to finish 1 game w/ 5 bowlers but no, our game stopped at the 7th frame. They than told us for another $17+ you could have another 30 mins and finish your game. $70 to basically play 1 game of bowling absolutely ridiculous! We decided to just end the game and continue to try and finish our food. Little did we know that they would just "sell" our lane before we were even done eating or even turn in our bowling shoes. We spent over $100.00 on food and didn't even get to finish/enjoy it! Why in the world would you assign the lane to someone else when there are clearly still people there and not even offer to them to move to another table so that they could enjoy the rest of their meal!!!!!!!! After we moved ourselves, we notice that this supposed "party" that was going to take up 4 lanes and made us wait an hour was still not there. That is when we learn that the "party" was to start at six. If we got there at 4 pm why in the world did they make us wait 1 hour when we would have clearly been done by 5!!!! Especially since they think it is ok to just kick people off lanes without showing any type of good customer service! To top it off, we tell the waitress who was wonderful to us the circumstances, and she has the General Manager come over to us. You would think that after the conversation we had with him and the amount of problems that we had he would try to make something right, but did he no.Trying to argue with a customer is not good customer service nor good management skills! We ended up with upset children, a bunch of excuses, a simple sorry and one horrible experience. And that "party" that was supposed to arrive at 6...never showed. I hope this establishment enjoyed our $175 trip because we will NEVER be back.

Ate at this location twice. The first time they cooked my steak burned to a crisp, they remade the steak and the second time it was rare. I’m not sure if the cook has ever cooked a steak but I wouldn’t ever order the steak. For the price I paid it should be done how I like.

Out of the way location, unless you're headed to the outlet mall, anyway. Food is mediocre at best. Made contact with six members of the staff, and 3 were unhelpful and annoyed that I asked them to do their jobs. Plus, I overheard 3 waitstaff complain about their tables and make jokes about the food -- We were at our table, they were less than three feet away - one doing silverware and the other two just complaining. Don't go on a weekend to bowl, you'll have a two plus hour wait for a lane and they won't let you check in over the phone (I called to check wait times before we arrived). When I attempted to comment on this, the hostess rudely interrupted to tell me my wait would have been the same if I had checked in when I got there- which isn't what I was saying. Bathrooms were clean, bartender and guy on the bowling side were polite and ready to assist. Our actual waitress was more than helpful, kind and always moving her feet. When I asked about different foods and drinks, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and spry when it came to incidentals - needing refills, dips for corn dogs for the kids, etc. TLDR; Unique atmosphere. Eat before you come or get something fried. Call to check wait times for lanes, check in when you first arrive. Drinks are good, pizza is standard. Worst case scenario, make a drinking game out of spying the mermaids.

We had a brisket sandwich with the cut of ham & also a ribeye with broccoli the ribeye was burnt and the broccoli was old, not a fresh green. The specialty drink all had sours in them which was horrible. I don’t leave many bad reviews but if I could eat there for free I wouldn’t even give my free meal awAy.

Paid for an hour of bowling. Made no less than 5 trips to service desk to have them fix the pin machine. Had to go find server to clean our table.from last group. Had to search out server every time we needwd something....never stopped by once. Only half the lanes were used so it was not busy. Food was average at best. That place has gone down hill a lot!

Don't bring your own bowling shoes. The floors are dirty and sticky which makes it impossible to slide on the approach. The waiter was not very good. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one is because of the shift manager who was very attentive and quick to act to lane issues, etc. The bowling pricing needs to be changed to per game instead of hourly also.

If you're a serious bowler, this is NOT the place for you. The lanes are not typically oiled and any bowler with any kind of hook will be very disappointed on most days. The food is mediocre at best. Stick with the shop itself and don't bother with the restaurant and alleys. The shop is great.

I stopped in last night with my son and his family. The crab cakes (if you can call them that) were flatter than a pancake and tasteless at $14. The amount of cheese curds was terrible and half of them had no cheese in them for $11. Our server was a nice young woman but did not know what was on a supreme pizza and that the restaurant was no longer offering free meals to kids. This is the third time we have given this restaurant another chance but no more and will let others know that way over priced and food is terrible.

The atmosphere is amazing. A lot of details to make it look like you are under the sea with fish and boats and other under water items. Seems like you are in the ocean. One of the best places I've seen for bowling. They have 8 lanes and a bar and a restaurant. Got a great deal on Groupon and would definitely go back again. Wasn't a huge fan of the pizza though. I haven't tried any other food but I would sure like to.

We came here about 4:30 on Friday with a group of 10 adults. We got a table right away, no problem. A lane for bowl was about a 50 min wait. The remodel is good but they replaced a lot of seating with a ton of arcade games no one was playing. The drinks were decent with a fair amount of alcohol, albeit expensive (the cheapest mixed drink being $10 for a 8oz glass). We ordered alligator (heavily breaded and chicken-fried), fried pickle spears, and crab cakes (pretty dry). Entrees varied from flat iron steaks to salmon to mac n cheese. There is nothing on the menu under $10. The flat iron steak, my choice, was $16 (expensive for a cheap cut of meat). I ordered the steak medium rare and it came out medium. Too done for my taste. A friend also ordered the same steak medium rare and hers came out nicely medium rare. The wait staff was decent. They were extremely accommodating with a large group that arrived sporadically (a half hour between the first and last guest) and with us wanting to bowl after we ate. All in all a decent experience but not one I would go out of my way to repeat.
