A very welcome addition to downtown Fairfield! We've been on the hunt for the best local fish since Swanson's closed and now we've finally found it! Not only do they have a great selection, but are super helpful and knowledgeable towards people (like me!) that don't know a whole lot about preparing fish (the edible way!)!

These guys are the real deal! I'm from Sicily and my father was in the fish trade, he would always bring home the freshest fish and shrimp, I missed that so much! The only place that I was able to find that freshness again, was at this place. Bravo! I talked to Frank, one of the owners and he helped me with a couple of perfect files of Salmon.

What a great market! If you enjoy making your own sushi, they sell sushi grade fish, which is very hard to find in the area. Bought a nice piece of Salmon from these guys yesterday and tasted great!

Best Salmon, Sword Fish, 1/4 pound shrimp I ever had! It was a seafood feast this past weekend at my place and I plan in repeating it at least once a month with fish supplied by Nordic Fish. These guys know their fish! Highly Recommend!

My son and I randomly stopped in for sushi, but instead ordered a lobster roll with corn on the cob and blackened salmon steaks. Everything was absolutely delicious!! No seasoning necessary for the salmon steaks. Just warm up with your sides and enjoy. THE BEST!! Not overly seasoned or under. Melted in my mouth.I had a baked potatoe and spinach salad with it. Definitely will return. Met the owner and cook who were both pleasant and warm. Great service!

First time there today. Market is very clean. Great variety. All fish looked super fresh, so I got Sea Bass, Swordfish, Cod Loin, and Halibut. We cooked the Sea Bass for dinner and it was delicious. In addition to the fine quality and great selection, the service was EXCEPTIONAL! Highly recommend!

Thank God we finally have a true fish market in the area. This was the highest quality fish (skate in this case) I've bought in Connecticut. My wife from the Keys refuses to eat any fish at home because she claims it's not fresh enough... after this, she said she'll eat fish again but only if I get it from this place.
