This place is probably my favorite place to take my kids. We are here about every week. & it probably the best place. The staff is amazingly friendly. When I have two boy's who love fish, & anything to do with the ocean. This is the place to be. It was worth the membership card.

Great, education-focused gifts. Lots of stuffed animals and trinkets for small kids, but also learning-oriented options for children of all ages. Reasonable prices too, especially the sale items. 10% off for members.

Worth the ticket price! I highly recommend buying tickets online and printing them at home. You'll want to get there early on weekends like right when they open and you can enjoy before the crowds get there. My 9 year old grandson couldn't get enough and wants to go back already!

I truly expected a lot, but what I saw were animals suffering. One of the most depressing places I have ever been to. The plastic dinossaur had more space, water and shade than real penguins.

It's a classic exit-through-the-giftshop setup, which is why I'm only giving it four stars. They have a great selection of goods otherwise. There's stuff for all ages and tastes, but the greatest items they sell are there animal paintings done by the animals. They're super cute but very expensive, but then where else can you get art painted by penguins, sea lions, and beluga whales?

I had a great time at Mystic Aquarium with my wife. The entire New London, Groton, Norwich area is beautiful and a great place to do a day trip. The line to get into Mystic is pretty long and parking can be a nightmare if you don't get there early. Now for pricing it cost for adults $37.99 to get into the park which is pretty expensive if you have a family. However it does cost alot of money to house the animals, feed them and train them. I can understand that however you can finish the entire park in less than 2 hours and half of the park is borderline lazy. Once you go pass the whales and Seals you have this giant murky pond barley filled with frogs? I mean i don't know who does their marketing and sales but for $37.99 that is pretty lazy. You could at least use the exhibit house gaint catfish and sell feeding food to kids. Catfish will eat anything and do well in dark dirty water. That's a cheap display right there. Then they had a garden area i assume they will use for daycare but it was empty. They could use that area for land tortoise. Once you see the whales and touch the manta rays the only other thing worth watching is the sea lion show which was awesome. It's a good place to take young kids for a Saturday but if you looking for a deal or to experience some thing on a lesser scale than SeaWorld then this isn't it. Overall i probably wouldn't go back again until i have kids. I just think marketing and operations need to add some more things to this park . For $37.99 a pop for a adult you should be getting more. Also it seems like tickets are cheaper online. I brought my tickets online while waiting in line. It saved me $10.

A really nice aquarium with great shows, and an impressive collection of aquatic life. A little pricey for just a single visit but we had a great time. Clean, friendly staff and very well run.
