The fish here is phenomenal. Comes with generous amounts of coleslaw and tarter sauce. Best part is that if you're a Muslim, you get a discount. Definitely would recommend if you're in the mood for seafood.

I’ve now been here twice and loved what I ordered both times. For the price, the lobster rolls are some of the best I’ve had. They’re on the smaller side, which makes sense considering they’re $10, but it works out perfectly because my boyfriend and I each get a lobster roll and then split the clam strips, which are also incredible. The soups are amazing, too: big pieces of seafood throughout and a ton of flavor. I highly recommend coming in for a quick bite to eat!

I stopped in for a fish and chips dinner, to eat there. My order was taken quickly. While the meal was cooking, a number of people came in to buy various (fishy) products. It was clear from the way the owner warmly greeted them that most of the shoppers were long-term clients who greeted him the same way. While i waited, i also looked at the fish; it all seemed fresh, well cut, and properly cooled. They also have some more unusual products, including octopus and frog legs. Yes, as for the meal, served quickly enough and properly cooked. I'd recommend the Fish Market for both cooked meals and the ingredients for cooked meals.

I love their FISH'N CHIPS!!! I love fresh seafood...If you try this market, you'll never buy frozen, packaged, farm-raised fish of the week again. Grouper is my absolute favorite. Chowders are awesome, to. You can't beat fresh seafood. There is no substitute for fresh fish. It bakes differently, for instance. Fresh fish doesn't fall apart like your average grocery bought, pre-thawed fish. TASTE??? No comparison...hands down fresh seafood all day long. If you've only ever had store bought; you don't know what you're missing. I found this little market some 17 years ago. I want fish; I shop here. Knowledgeable people here, to. They share their baking or grilling ideas with you. They are reasonably priced, which is a bonus.

I rely on the Monroe Fish Market whenever I serve shrimp cocktail for get-togethers with friends. They cook the shrimp right before I get there and provide it just the way I like it, with tails on! I also buy their cocktail sauce, which is great! The shrimp are big and beautiful and my guests always exclaim, "These are FANTASTIC! WHERE did you GET them?!"

This place is the best fish market I haver ever seen and my favorite.!!! They have a huge variety of sea products. Their soups are so tasty. They have so many appetizers. Everyting here is fresh and clean. You can eat many tasty seafood here. I would highly recommend.

Shame on me!! After having bought my annual New Years lobster dinner last year and was dissapinuted that the roe, tomalley, and "waste" products were not removed prior to stuffing (despite having asked them to do this), I made SURE to tell them to remove these items when I placed my order this year. Well shame on me for having trusted they would have done so. I just threw out 1 of two stuffed lobsters as it contained roe and this black "gook" that turned my stomach!! Adding insult to injury, my husbands fried clam strips dinner was made up of a healthy quantity of fries and breading, but only 4 clam strips!!! What a waste of $80. That was that absolute LAST TIME we will ever buy from the Monroe Fish Market
