Seafood is not fresh and it was very pricey for frozen seafood and the manager did not accommodate me when I complained. 54.00 it’s a lot of money for dried out crabs legs. If you want crab legs go to the Chinese buffet it’s a lot cheaper.

Steamers were amazing today.. Fried scallops cooked perfectly, lobster always top shelf... Place is a bit pricey but well worth a visit because you get what you pay for.. BTW, pours are generous and service is friendly and efficient... One of our favorites..

So I went here for the first time with my husband tonight. Didnt think to make reservations and when we pulled up the place was PACKED. oddly enough we were still seated right away, and were assigned a waitress immediately. The appetizers came out in less than 10 minutes and were delicious. The only thing I was not a fan of was how stressed the waitresses were and seemed to have been having a tough time with the busyness factor. Even how stressed they were our waitress was pretty awesome. Polite, quick, and attentive with my refills. Once again 5 stars goes to them. Not a fan of them running like chickens with their heads cut off but who knows maybe people called out, or they're under staffed. Whatever it was they did a great job pulling through.

Interesting restaurant. Wide and varied menu with plenty of drink options. Good selection of seafood, including lobster, calamari, oysters, shrimp, white fish and scallops. Few other dishes available to please all appetites. Great service, even when busy. Definitely recommended!

There are a lot of seafood joints I have visited just like this one. You really need something to separate yourself from the masses. Couldn't find that spark here. Service was fine, food was par, restaurant appeared to be clean. If you expecting great seafood, you might be disappointed. If your looking for pub style seafood, your right on track. Our dinners included calimari, chowder, streamers and fried Haddock. Everything was fine, but average, thus the 3 stars.

I honestly cant speak highly enough of this place! More photos to follow the next time I come but in the meantime that was the broiled shrimp dinner with a cajun spice in the photo. From the staff, to the food, to the atmosphere everything was spot on. This was my first time here and definitely wont be my last! I have driven by for years never knowing what I was missing by not stopping in. The seafood was delish! They have a huge menu, great beers on tap as well as good choices for wine. Huge bar and a ton of regular seating. Check it out!

The service was very slow. Ots hard to say if it was due to problems in the kitchen or what, but we had no way to locate our waitress or even staff close enough to enlist assistance from long enough that we realized it was past the point we had estimated we'd be in the car on the way home. The clam chowder, both clear and creamy were awful. We had mixed experience with entrees, ranging from average to low average. Meh

I'm not sure if I simply came on a bad night or if the surf and turf is just not the dish to get. The steak was mediocre, but then again it is a seafood place. The lobster was also ok, maybe a bit bland. The server forgot the nut crackers at first. And also got the order of one of my coworker's order wrong, which happens, but the attitude he took was "that's not what you ordered" when the rest of us clearly heard his order. The meals the rest of my party ordered looked delicious, and not one had any complaints (even the incorrect salmon dish apparently was great). So I'll give it another shot some time down the road.

Awesome place. Clams casino and steamers were great. Sides were amazing too. Fried belly clams not quite there. More used to a lighter crispy type breading. Maybe it was not a good time of year for them. Good portion but clams very small and served at a tepid temp, almost like they were prepared like fries in a huge batch and portions scooped out? Once again, we might have gotten a bad batch.

I was a little underwhelmed with the 2 appetizers we got, but the main course was good. The waitress was very pushy when taking our order and missed delivering our drinks. Overall it was an OK experience, but the food was good. Recommend the broiled scallops. :)

Since they expanded their bar area a few years ago, it is really a wonderful place to go for seafood. They have an excellent raw bar too. This place is extremely popular though so be prepared to wait or look to go during sometime other than the peak times which are around 5-7 most nights.

This is a local favorite. I like the calm ambiance, making it a great place for eating with friends while catching-up. Maine Fish has good seafood and good service. They recently did some remodeling, the outcome made the place that much better (especially the bar; they now have 4 television that are tuned-in to sports). As for hours, I go between Monday and Friday around opening hour. And since I can't comment on nighttime and weekend hours, I have been told that they are busy.

Food used to be really good. I got fish and chips. Mostly french fries. The fish is Pollock which I love but there fillets we're very thin like whiting. I won't eat there again. No fisherman's platter that's what I usually get.

I went to Maine Seafood once a few years ago and although the food was really good, the restaurant was kinda old and outdated. I heard they remodeled so my husband and I along with a few friends decided to give it a try. What a difference a face lift made. The new bar area is bright and beautiful. The food was beyond amazing, and the bill was acceptable to what we ordered. Our waitress was a delight as well. We will be back again when I get another craving for lobster

I never knew this place was here until my friend told me about it. The food is quite good. Sometimes there's a little bit of a wait to get in on weekends or Thursday nights. But I really enjoy it. You can get large quantities of fish to take home as well. Definitely a good place and I will be back

Loved it. Good old family restaurant where you still get to pick 2 sides w your order and fantastic prices. Our server, Trina, was super awesome and we loved her. The only thing holding them from 5 star review is that much of the fish was farmed. Great soup (homemade), warm bread, and crisp green salads. Yay!

Quick service, staff friendly. Meal nicely prepared (not overcooked) great flavor. The food cooked always seems to be as fresh as if I had just did the catch my self. Reasonably priced. Friday nights can be very busy, the back part of the restaurant can get to be noisy.

Bought a bucket of fish last evening for dinner, fries were so soggy we didn’t want to eat them, fish was so over cooked it tasted awful and the bread was so hard you couldn’t break it to eat. $37.00 down the drain.

Had a great time food was great. 1.25 pound lobster with clam chowder and 2 sides 24.99. The chowder was very good with almost no potato filling just good stuff. The raw clams are heavenly, big and meaty.

His comment "You can't win them all" so we usually are very generous with our tips but we shortened the tip considerably, because he was right you can't win them all.

This place was amazing. Expensive, but AMAZING!! By the way, its seafood so I expected the prices to be high. My wife and I enjoyed an anniversary dinner here recently and we highly recommend. I had the lazyman lobster with the 10 oz. steak which was great. My wife had, probably the most stuffed lobster I have ever seen. This place is now one of our top 5 restaurants in the area. We will return.

I was told this was the place for lobster rolls and was NOT disappointed. Even as a takeout item it was delicious. The amount of lobster in that huge roll! Jeez! Am I royalty or something?!!! Service was super-friendly, the menu is huge, and I enjoyed everything I ordered. The steamers were really great -fresh and sweet with no sand; the fries are batter-dipped and have a nice crunch if not a ton of flavor, and the fried scallops were very lightly battered and tender, but they were plated with something very wet (shredded lettuce? Still not sure) that left the bottom side soggy, which was a disappointment. Would definitely return if I'm in the area.

Was ok but not exceptional.My husband ordered shrimp and scallop special.The onions we're burned the peppers were raw and the forgot the scallops. Rice was bland. I had the stuffed sole with crab and scallop stuffing could not see either the crab or scallops. Staff was cheerful and quick to address concerns but the scallops came out so late we were ready to go.

Terrible service.... made a reservation for 10 people drove over an hour to get there and they tried to sit us at 2 separate tables. The manager had no other options for us. They have lots of rules themselves when you make a reservation no one in your party can be more than 15 min late or your reservation is cancelled. There is an automatic 18% gratuity. If they are going to have all these rules you need to abide by than they should have better quality service.

This was probably one of the most delicious meals I've ever eaten. Everything was super flavorful and didn't just taste like fryer oil. I’ve always loved this place and try to make it here every time I visit CT. Today the service was absolutely horrendous. The hostess told me that it would be a shorter wait to sit at the bar. The bar was full therefore I decided to order my food to go, which they said would take approx 30-45 mins. I went to the bar to order a drink and bartender Chris asked “do you need anything else” and repeated it 3 times before I could get my answer out. I waited maybe 5 minutes and a seat opened up at the bar and decided to sit and eat. I asked Brooke if it was possible for me to eat my dinner here and she reluctantly said yes. I was sitting at the bar with my glass empty and not one bartender asked me if I needed another drink, at this time the bar slowed down. Once Brooke brought my food out she printed out the up charge for in-house dining and walked away. I sat there for about 2 minutes with no utensils trying to get one of the bartenders attention. No one asked me if I needed water, another drink, how the food was or if I needed anything. I requested to speak with a manager and Justin (Manager) told Chris to tell me that he was too busy to speak with me. As I continued to eat my food I saw what appeared to be a bug in my stuffing (disgusting), this definitely solidified me not ever eating at this restaurant EVER again. I’m a pretty good tipper and for the first time in my life I did not tip.

Had a brthday celebration for my mother and her sisters(a party of 10).Personally my broiled shrimp was overdone and chewy,but, everyone else was pleased with their meals. Great salad and tasty crusty bread. The service was exceptional.

Customer service was very good the waiting time can a bit long at times but it worth the wait.
