sara woods

Great food and staff!

Donna Grimes

Love this place. Love the atmosphere and service.

Shauna Stokes

The buffalo burger was great! After the wine tasting, we decided to buy a bottle of Rosie C, a Merlot/Riesling blend from The Winery at Pikes Peak. We also bought a bottle of Shiver, an Ice-style Riesling from Desert Moon Vineyards. Yummy!

Bradley Wagner

The waitress was very nice and I think the food was okay, but it would have been better if my prime rib was served hot...or even warm, but it wasn't. I returned the food to have the steak warmed up and it was, but then the broccoli and rice was returned cold. I would give the waitress high marks for trying to make things right, but I think they should seriously consider either retraining their cook, or replacing him. It's too bad, because I think it could have been a really nice place to go for dinner.

Michael Christianson

Great food, great staff and great wine

Kelly Duncanson

Creek side dining is a must! And the Bison Burger is delicious

Renessa Reed

Love the atmosphere and service. Food was delicious, wine tasted pretty good too.

Tim Alford

Hands down the best place we ate out of our whole trip. Actually went back 2 more times ha. There is nothing bad at this place at all. The staff was awesome and the food was amazing

Delta Fajardo

Best decision for tourists wanting a true authentic area experience. We got this suggestion from a local person, and I know it was genuine because just up the street was a different "fine establishment" winery. Don't go there. You want genuine, go here! Free wine tasting, amazing and huge amount of excellent dishes! We tried lots of things...I had buffalo meat lasagna, husband had buffalo burger, one friend an amazing chili as well as chicken pot pie, and another friend had a great Colorado onion soup and bratwurst. All of it was amazing. So, a great varying menu. The place also sits along a flowing creek. From the outside, you do get the visual feeling that it is local, but that is how you know even more that it is genuine. Inside it was cool, it was clean, and it was positively fun!!!

Jeannie Crownover

Highly recommend eating creekside. My daughter loved the chilled apple cider.

Heather Glover-Hunteman

My husband and I just had lunch there today around 2:40. Food was good but our service was absolutely the worst we’ve EVER had anywhere. We were the only couple who sat inside since the creekside dining was full. It took almost 20 minutes to get a root beer!!!! Our food took 25 minutes (we ordered one bison burger and coleslaw to split). The waitress never came back for our payment so we finally ended up taking it into the bar. Needless to say we will not be back.

Erick De La Riva

Absolute garbage service and food, took over an hour to get our food, then when we finally got the food everything was soggy, and the potatoes weren't fully cooked. Waitress told us for over half an hour that our food was being plated. It doesnt take 30 min to plate some sandwiches. Would not recommend.

Christopher Holder

It's a cozy little place with good food and a great opportunity to sample wines from around the state. When it's warmer, the patio is wonderful, with a creek running alongside. Unfortunately, service isn't the best, but that seems to be the case no matter where you go these days.

Cameron Garner

Amazing place to try new wines!

Mary Ann Perez

Can I give it 10 stars? I had such a good time! We had no clue what to expect, but we asked for creekside dining. Turned out, it was fairly quiet where we were seated, good for 2 with hearing aids. We were encouraged to go back to the tasting area, sample as many wines as we wanted, to find what worked for each of us for our dinner! Have I got you yet?? I was a little overwhelmed by it all, but our 37 yr old son who was along for a wedding, thoroughly made use of the tasting, and even bought a bottle to take home. What we chose really worked well with our dinners, which were very good! Different, relaxed atmosphere, and so much fun! Wish I could go every week!

I've been here several times over the years and one thing that stands out at Wines Of Colorado - beyond their signature Bison Burger and plethora of Colorado wines - is the consistency. Dining here one should know service is consistenly paced out, but not in anecessarily negative sense. You can usually observe 5 or so servers split between 3 areas: indoor dining, upstairs dining, and downtairs creekside patio. For the servers to area ratio, the pacing is definitely acceptable. The menu is a manageable size, mainly sandwhiches and specials (Prime Rib Dinners per availability). Portions are decent and quality is worth the price point. While waiting you can head into the main building to sample some of Wines' selection. Typically arranged Dry to Sweet, left to right, some of Wines' best are on display: options from Pikes Peak, Infinite Monkey Theorum, and Red Fox wineries are common finds. All in all Wines Of Colorado is a beautiful little establishment that is a must-visit all around; from the beautiful drive up Hwy 24 through Manitou, to the Wine-by-the-creekside dining experience.

Karin Bugatti

Surprised at the updated menu! Much more depth of offerings than ever. Mahi mahi was really good... don't need a wilted piece of lettuce on the side and would like a bit more veggies on the side. Carrot cake was a 3-day journey of delight! Greek salad was beautiful. Just one negative...I really prefer dirty dishes to be cleared BEFORE bringing out the next dish. It is a common faux paux and I think it is due to Management's lack of training their staff. And I have forgotten the exact name on the label but the MALBEC with the Monkey face is fantastic. Looking forward to visiting again. It's not just a hamburger restaurant any more.

Brian Arant

Relaxing. Good wine selection.

Tim Boling

Food is pretty good but not stellar. Waitstaff is the main reason for the low rating. Wine is great!

Joe Rios

Love the wine and especially the food.

Corinne Williams

I’ve been a patron of Wines for over 10 years. The food is good. Not consistently great. The service has been declining over the years. The last time we went, we had to walk out because we hadn’t been served after sitting for fifteen minutes. There were two other tables occupied and it was a rainy day with nobody seated outside. The server was too busy chatting to at least bring us a menu. We went back one more time for carrot cake. The cake was dry and tasted old. We aren’t going back

Not a good experience. I just left after dining here and I'm leaving this review because I was highly dissatisfied with my service. Firstly, I ordered a bison burger medium well and without anything but the meat cheese and the bun, however when I received my burger it was well done and very dry. Additionally, there was lettuce and tomato on it. My waitress (there were 2 blonde girls and this was the older one) commented on this and said "Oh sorry, they put that on there" then proceeds to walk off. Then a few minutes later she came back and asked if I wanted another bun to which I said yes. It took what seemed like a while until she brought out a other bun. On top of this, everyone at my table had ordered water, but not once during our entire meal did our waitress refill any of our waters or even ask if we wanted a refill on them. Finally, after we were finished with our meal we waited around 20 minutes for our waitress to bring us our bill. During thos time, she walked out and served other guests, looked over at us, and kept walking in the back without coming to talk to us. It was overall a very poor experience.

Walt Jarrell

Wonderful atmosphere it was like a small cafe, very friendly staff, not an overdone menu, just enough options. Very nice indeed

Anthony Downs

Never disappoints. Ask For a table by the stream.

Matt H

Great food, Great location. Mason our waiter was Awesome. Don't bother with the Guacamole.

Melina Wilshire

LOVE the location and setting DELICIOUS wine DELICIOUS food, also unique food such as the Bison lasagna. Their pulled pork sandwich- HIGHLY recommend. The baked brie appetizer is also highly recommended. LOVE that they feature just wines made in Colorado This is one of my go to places to bring out of town guests. Only warning is that if your cell phone carrier is T-Mobile, you won't have cell service here; not that this is a bad thing.

Robyn

We used to enjoy stopping here for dinner (Ribeye sandwich) and recommending it to friends but our service tonight and our last visit was terrible. Our waiter took our order, brought our food and never came back until he brought the check. Had he returned to check to see how our food was he would have learned he didn't bring us our side salad or that we wanted a refill on our water. I don't think we'll return OR refer others. I'm sad it's declined so much.

Gayle Abbott

A very rustic spot in the mountains. Buy all your favorite Colorado wines and try some new ones after enjoying a delicious meal! Good food, good wines, friendly service, casual setting. Perfect indoors or outdoors!

katy Na

Great food. Little bit of a wait for the food but all very fresh and delicious. Free wine tasting. Great staff will be going back.

Rachel Dowd

This is one of my favorite restaurants with really amazing food.

Martin Horsky

Great location if you like outdoors seating. Has a large selection of Colorado wines to take home. I liked their fish tacos very much.

Mr Mountain

Small shop good specialty items.

Melanie

Hands down the best buffalo burger I've EVER had, great wine selection and creekside tables that make the atmosphere perfect. Free wine tasting inside too!

Barb Dyess

Eat outside in a beautiful, rustic mtn-riparian setting, nestled in trees alongside a small rushing creek amidst birdsong, or just above it on the open deck or in the cozy light-filled dining area. Relaxed & casual ambience. Shop for and try out Colorado wines and meads in the resident wine/gift shop, and rustic gourmet foods such as my favorite: the delicious Portabello Mushroom Burger on a brioche bun. Friendly young staff may need a nudge occasionally but are overall efficient (we asked for the fireplace to be turned on, which they did pronto, but never did refill our water glasses) Note: h/c access to the inside dining only as the rest is by stairs only.

Daniel John

The cob salad was not a cob and cost $2 extra. The silverware was dirty. The chili had good flavor but the beans were still hard. Who puts carrots in chili??? Service was awkward. The buffalo burger was great but the bun bottom soaked in burger grease. The lettuce was wilted. But the water was great. Meh

Susan Campbell

Went there today for lunch , my husband and I both ordered the spaghetti dinner .he had the soup and I had the salad ,the salad was wilted with a lot of the leaves the bottom of the lettuce, was nasty. The spaghetti came in a dish that was microwave, hot to touch, the outside of the spaghetti was so hard you could break it in pieces, when I told the waitress, she didn't even answer she told the young man that was hosting to bring a small dish , he brings me a empty plate and she takes off with the dried up spaghetti end of story , no sorry no discount no nothing and she knew I was upset about that food ,if I wanted microwave food I could of done that at a seven eleven. For 13.99 it was the worst meal I ever had ,would we go back, no way!!!!!

Pratima Nayak

Went wine tasting there, didn't get food. They were very friendly

Sue McClendon

Best buffalo burgers ever, always. Eating inside or creekside is great. Staff are pretty good as well.

Micheal Naramore

Great place to find mead

Mike Maske

A must stop if your in the area, food is amazing along with atmosphere.

Michelle Lynn

Very romantic and the carrot cake was likely the best I will ever eat in my life!!! The staff accommodated us in a notable way, since we were a bit late in our arrival. I'm not usually a fan of carrot cake, but seriously you should try it. It's worth the trip!!!!!

Brad Dolbeer

Great food, but zero beers. Nice views, friendly staff and nice selection of Colorado wines.

Kristyn Shocklee

Would not recommend. The outside patio is absolutely gorgeous but it’s not worth it. Waited over an hour for our food to come out undercooked, over cooked and dry. I couldn’t even eat the chicken club because it was so dry. The potatoes were hard and undercooked. The beans were gross. The tacos were boring. Very unimpressed. Will not be back.

Carl Wade

Love this place. Food is always great and I love sitting under the trees by the river. Servers are friendly, and efficient.

Valerie Larson

This place has the best French onion soup I've ever had. Any time I visit Colorado, I try to come here to get the soup. I always say I'm going to get something else, but never do.

Kinipela Michelle

Lovely selection and i was impressed i was able to tey a few before making my selection and i settled on a very nice red wine thanks to their helpful staff.

Christine Schenk

Delicious, great service, pretty location next to cascading little waterfalls. It looks like a winery and it is but it has the best food! Go further and eat downstairs by the stream. We liked it so much while on vacation we went back for a second delicious dinner! Nice wines too.

Danielle Simpson

Enjoyed the atmosphere, especially since we sat next to a wi dow so we could see the creek and hummingbirds, but food was only mediocre. I had lasagna that was tasteless except for the sauce and husband's rib eye was so bland he practically smothered it in salt & pepper to give it some flavor.

C Hui Irvin

Wonderful staff! Great prices!!!! Beautiful view! You can also taste a great variety of Colorado wines, definitely coming back!

Terryn

Great atmosphere, good food. Try the hot spiced wine. Its Amazing!

Juli Garcia

Really lovely spot and "very" friendly service. I only wish they had a slightly expanded menu with a few more healthy and lighter choices.

Rachel Parmeter

Disgusting food. The "complimentary wine tasting" is a joke. The place was dirty and run down. The employees where somewhat nice, but overall I would never ever return. Would recommend to stay as far away from this place as possible

Michelle Hickox

BEST place for lunch or anytime actually. I bring family and friends here every time they visit. I go just because I love it there. Great food, great wine, great atmosphere, and super friendly staff!!!

J T

Great food, great service, great Colorado wine selection! If you are into wines, go here. They are very knowledgeable and can make great recommendations.

Michael Glore

Friendly staff and great food.

Sally Veneigh

Brought 4 friends up Sat night for dinner. It was great...As usual! I had the baby back ribs, for the first time. OMG! Fall off the bone & melt in your mouth! Leslie waited on us (as she has many times) & she is delightful! Get outta her way, cuz she's gonna get the job done!

Julie Schroeder

Not very gluten aware and the tacos that they say came with corn tortillas were on flour tortillas and they stopped using corn ones awhile ago and didn't change the menu. Didn't eat anything so 1 star for that, but 5 stars for the creekside dining so 3 average for my visit.

Fran Worthington

We had passed this place many times and thought it would be too upscale for our taste. We were very pleasantly surprised!! It was nice but homey feeling. The food was great, and the service attentive but not smothering . We will definitely be back.

Karla Sturgeon

We met family for lunch. Very nice people. Buffalo Burger very good! Clean place.

Robin Steffens

The "Go To" place when wanting a different dining experience. Inside, patio or creekside dining. Great cheese plate and no matter what you order its always done right. Oh, and don't forget the Wines of Colorado--awesome selection.

B L

Food was fair . Nice view

Robin Searle

My favorite summertime lunch spot. Enjoy a lovely setting next to a river with loads of trees and excellent food & wine. It doesn't look like much from Hwy 24, but wait until you walk through to the outside patio!

Andrew Cristwell

The Wines of Colorado is a great place!! We make sure to stop by every time we visit Colorado!! Awesome food and wine choices!! Plus great service! :)

Terese Quaney

Love this place. Great service and food

Daniela Bright

One of my all time favorite restaurants! Good food, okay prices! Always worth the drive up the pass!

Joe Sonner

Great place for date night. Sit outside by the river. Really good fresh tasting food. Big wine list.

Russ Meyer

The carrot cake is worth every penny!

Brett B

I pass by this restaurant often and finally decided to give a try. Sat down about 630 for dinner and were 1 of 2 tables. The blonde waitress came asked if we wanted wine, when we said no she left with an attitude. The food was decent but the service was terrible!!! I will Never go to Wines of Colorado again due to the service of the waitress and other host girls provided. Made for a very uncomfortable dining experience :(

Snortgunther

We always enjoy our trips to the wines. Try the bison burger next time you go, it's really good.

Night Stalker

Love this place! The cheese plate was great! Ask for extra crackers! The wine was awesome and the environment was wonderful! Also, they have a good selection of vegetarian food too!!!

John

Don't order Marv's Buffalo Chili. It used to be real good, but they've changed it to a bowl of rice with a few beans and very little meat. Terrible excuse for chili!

Darlene Steier

Great food and love the seating out side by the creek

Rafael Flores

Food was delicious and portions were sufficient. The wine sampling is just the icing on the cake. We ordered the buffalo burger and the salmon sandwich. For some reason service was a little off today (July 11, 2019 around 3pm). It may be related to multiple seating areas and not enough staff to manage. I'm not a local so I can't compare to other days/ times. Wine selection seemed adequate and varied although I don't call myself a "connoisseur".

Texas John6

Very nice creek side dining area. Really good food. Wine tasting inside. Friendly staff.

Greg Wutzke

Staff was great, the ambiance was perfect for the area. Easy wine tasting and very delicious selection. And the greatest was the food, trout almandine was my favorite.

Todd Kennedy

Romantic place for two but family is welcome. Great wine selection, with a unique little gift store. All at the base of pikes peak in one stop.

Donna Kaipo

Got my rum haven one happy women ...

SKY WARR10R

What a beautiful setting and I ❤️ the Orange Moscato

Adrianna Harris

We waited for someone to take our order for over 25 mins after receiving the menu, me and my mom can decide within 5 mins lol.. their excuse was “a problem in the kitchen” but I had to approach an owner to get an answer, this is our first time here and he’s the wine and food are wonderful and it’s worth the drive just be prepared.

BENDER tharobot

They were out of everything how you gonna run out of EVERYTHING

Bill Schwenk

My parents live near here and have raved about it for years. So we finally went there with them. We sat outside by the creek which is awesome.. its very beautiful and an awesome place to have a meal. The place wasnt very busy but the food took almost an hour to get out. However the area is so cool it really doesnt matter.. and i hope that was an off day. If you are in the area i recommend checking it out!!

Casey Watson

I'm sad to say I brought my family here last weekend when they visited. We were seated quickly and two.of the five went to sample wine. Five minutes later those two joined the table. We waited 15 minutes for service and I finally went back to the bar and told the manager we needed service. Five more minutes later, we finally have a waitress! We thought we were good! We were SO WRONG. Waitress brings our drinks, then runs off again the greet a table that had just come in. We wait for her to take their drink order, get their drinks, get THEIR food order and she finally returns. Wr watched her turn three two tops in the time it took us to get our food. This is beyond ridiculous!! It seemed that small tables get the best service while our five top didn't. They could care less, so I could care less that our waitress got $10 on a $120 tab. I usually love tipping for great service and others at our table couldn't believe I left anything at all. I will NEVER return nor recommend this craphole. This is our third strike with this place. The food was only semi decent, which I've learned is normal for them. Dont waste your time and money. There are MUCH better places to go in Colorado Springs or Manitou.

Linda Lindy

Fun atmosphere and great staff.

Rosr Dicenso

Service was slow but food was fresh.

Renae Ulibarri

Love the food and wine here, and the view is great as well. Nice little creek side seating nestled against Pikes Peak.

Randy Martin

Great restaurant, I’ve been there twice. Both times I had the best waitress I’ve ever had while dining out anywhere in my travels. I HIGHLY recommend eating here. I’ve tried a steak and spaghetti, both awesome. Give it a try!

Trish Newman

It was just okay. Service in the restaurant was poor. However the wine room is cool!

Alysha Johns

Poor service, rarely saw our waitress, while 2 others were busting their butts. Got the almond crusted Mahi Mahi and it had no flavor except an awfully fishy flavor. The best thing was the squash/zucchini vegetable of the day, which was just ok. Everything else lacked flavor. The 2 wines we got were ok though.

zac purvis

Wonderful dining environment by the creek after walking through a nice selection of wine where you can get your complimentary tasting! Food was fantastic and the service was respectful and prompt! Reccomend to anyone and everyone! Will be back with newcomers myself!

Mark

Great food & local wine. The server was attentive and very friendly. The only disappointment is the dated decor & during our visit the creekside seating area was closed. However, we will definitely be back.

Kieffer Rittenhouse

Flies, 70 min wait, flies and nice people...still waiting on my meal!

Georgia Curie

While the service was great the food was awful. Several tables had to send back their prime rib. Our next order in place of that one was mediocre at best.

S Kay Eisaman

Horrible! Just horrible! Sandwiches came with either coleslaw or baked beans. Three of our dining party had baked beans. Beans were watery, unflavored soup. The rueben sandwich had no saurekraut on it. It was meat, cheese and thousand island dressing. My salad had lots of rusty, old welted lettuce. Removed most of the bad rusty old lettuce and the server didnt even ask about it! Salmon was dry. Sorry folks. We could have ate at McDonald's for alot less $ and with more flavor!

WILL EXCELONE

Great selection of wines also good selection of local wine. Food is good and dine outside near the stream that flows on the side of the restaurant. Also if you are looking for good pizza go across the street to red cloud inn in the back there is back room pizza veteran owned business a must have. Take a day to enjoy both.

Cathy Pott

Never disappointed with food or service here. Free wine tasting is fun!!

Ganjeea

Excellent food and environment. Cute creek next to the resturant, fireplace. The wine selection is good. The prices are very reasonable. If you go anywhere in that area to eat go here!

Lisa Miller

Salmon dinner and spegetti and meatballs was very good! Megan did a great job and the cook was very friendly!! Very peaceful place next to the creek. Tons of wines to taste and choose from.

Sterling Mount

The best patio in the county. This was the only place to take home real alcohol back in the days when liquor stores were closed on Sundays. They offer an American bistro menu with decent prices on the kids menu. They carry many Colorado wines, meads and ciders with tastings occurring all day long. Service is superb.

Vince Zamora

Awesome scenic location very close to Pike's Peak. Nice food at a very reasonable price with great wine selection including many local varieties. Also has a unique wine shop with tasting area and an outdoor patio next to a creek.

John Yantorno

Creekside dining and fresh delicious food!

quinn Wikelius

What a nice experience! The service was good and fast but never rushed. The food was amazingggg it really was the not so great thing was my group seemed to be the loudest ones in the whole building and we weren't rowdy by any means. There just wasn't any ambiance. No music and everyone in there almost seemed to whisper. It wasnt really busy at the time which didnt help but id still go again.

Kelly Owens

Great food and service. Had the ckickenpot pie and meatloaf special for Sunday lunch. Amazing! The hostess and waitress made our dining experience perfect.

Lisa Kennedy

We love this restaurant for dining in the spring and fall on the outside patio and by the stream! The food is always wonderful and of course a great variety of wines to choose from! Love the bison chili and the chicken pot pie!!!

Jasmin

Amazing little place off the highway! Riverside dining! Patio is great if the weather is nice. Very friendly servers, delicious wine, cheese plates, and country, hearty cooking!

Julia Walters

Love this beautiful place!

John N.

We stopped in for a wine tasting and dinner after a full-day drive to Cascade. The staff was knowledgeable about the wines and offered a large variety of wines. I don't mind paying a little for a wine tasting, but I really appreciate it when they're free -- like this one was. Thanks! We got a bottle of our favorite and had a nice dinner in the dining area. Food was good and the service was attentive. Will definitely go again when in the area.

Patrick S

Nice location, Very good food, everything tastes fresh and staff is friendly. But the building is out of date and the outdoor seating is sad and seems like they gave up years ago on the decor at this place and have left pots and pans, old bins, and not cleaned the outside.

Roy Poor

Free wine tasting and a great selection at the store. You can buy a bottle from the store and have it at dinner, good food too.

Suzy Rakowski

Service extremely slow. Hamburger I ordered was raw. I had asked for medium. Homemade beans were good. They had beef chunks in them. One of my friends beans were cold. I don't remember what else she had. Another friend had chicken quesadilla. It had mango sauce( bitter and a bit sour) which she said did not taste good as the mango was not ripe. Another had tacos, chicken which she liked. We will not be back. So 3 out of four meals not acceptable. There are other places which we know to be better. Perhaps the cook had an off day!

Emi Duke

Love this place! I come here a lot with friends and family. Their burgers are the best. The food is usually great, though our last visit was a little disappointing due the service. I had brought my son for the first time and was telling him (with the waitress present) how great their roasted red potatoes were. When my lunch came out, it was served with russet potatoes which were dry and tasteless. When I inquired about them, she informed me that they had run out of the red potatoes and that this was a temporary swap. It would have been nice if she had volunteered that information when I ordered. Try to leave room for dessert, or take it to go. Their carrot cake (when they have it) is divine!

Kaitlyn Pedersen

I went here for lunch and wine tasting with my sister and her best friend for her bachelorette party on September 13th. We were waiting on another bridesmaid that never showed up and the staff were very helpful with letting us use the landline to contact our friend since there was no service. We got a cheese plate to start off with and sampled probably at least 6 wines apiece. The Man doing the tastings definitely knew what he was doing and made it a fun experience for all of us. The only thing that could be improved was the food quality. My friend and I both got burgers and my sister ordered the chicken parmesan. My sister's good was very good but the burgers were both cooked well-done when we ordered medium rare. Despite being overcooked, everything still tasted fine. Next time, we'll probably just get the wine.

Kendra McNack

Prices a bit high when compared at local liquor stores but good option to try several wines in one place.

Walter Cohn

Great food. I had the bison burger and my wife had the chicken pot pie - both excellent. The Sangria was good not great. All done in a nice outdoor location. This is one of our favorite spots in the Springs.

christopher long

Great food and service, we went for an early dinner and all 5 of us really enjoyed our meals. I wish I had went with my gut and ordered extra roasted potatoes because there weren't many at all with my French Dip. Maybe if they weren't so tasty, I wouldn't have noticed! Thanks for a great evening!

Melinda Bloch

Great food. Service lacking. Most service could be improved by having a wine list. Claims free tasting, but no room or time. Its seriously not that hard to make a wine list, even if its a lot of wines. Warning: be prepared to wait.

Brenda Lee Masters

Good choices. Food was good except for children's meal. Told us all food was homemade. Children's chicken nuggets were dinosaur shape - definitely not homemade.

Clint Elliott

We have been to this location before, however, Sunday 9/22/19 we were told to seat ourselves anywhere, provided menus and water without a greeting and left without further service. We made eye contact with staff who continued to ignore us. We finally decided to leave . As we made our way out several employees look at us but did not ask if they could help ... they only arrogantly smiled as we passed within two feet of them. We will never go to or recommend this restuarant again.

Sharon Marriott

A canopy of trees with the sound of the nearby creek runs the length of the outdoor eating area. The fish tacos were awesome. They sell wines of many varieties. The staff is friendly. The service fast. It was a real pleasure to stop here on our vacation. We even purchased a shirt to remind us of our visit and plan to stop by again on our next vacation. Don't miss this stop when in the area.

an ceitean

You really can't miss this Colorado gem... if you do I feel terrible for your taste buds!

Jon Carey

Pleasant atmosphere. Very quaint. Complimentary wine tasting was very good. Allowed you to try some wines while food was behind prepared. We had the chicken pot pie and the portabello mushroom sandwich. Both were very good.

Cassy Powell

Comfortable, beautiful dining atmosphere. Chili was delicious. Salad had alot of dead lettuce I had to pick out, and then could barely eat it. This is one of the most disturbing things about wanting a salad in a restaurant.

Sarah Matthews

1:30 on a weekday, my party of 3 was seated and served water. Took 15 more mins to get my wine and order food. 30 mins later they said the kitchen was backed up and it would be a bit longer. 20 mins later, still no food. After being told it would be 20-40 more mins we Walked Out.

Heather

Wonderful little place at the base of Pike's peak. Wine tasting and the food is great. Wonderful atmosphere especially sitting outside along the creek.

Tony Weidlich

Shrimp scampi was not very good, my wife really liked the spaghetti.

Jeramy Garfield

Food was great, view is magnificent, wine tasting is good do you can taste before you buy. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because it took a while for the food to be ready.

D.K. Smith

Excellent visit with very good food and greater meade. The wine tasting is a little disorganized but the wines make up for it.

Freddy Reyez

Very beautiful place to visit the food wasn't too bad for the price and the service was great

Annice

While I would suggest stopping here for a wine tasting and to purchase wine from their large selection, I would not suggest eating here for dinner. The slow service and repeated mistakes (forgetting a drink, not refilling our waters, forgetting sauces, ringing up an incorrect item that was twice the cost of what we purchased, etc) doesn’t make up for the creekside location, unfortunately. Our food was hit and miss. Two of the meals ordered were very bland, but the other two were good. We arrived at 5:45 and weren’t able to leave until 8pm due to the kitchen being so backed up.

Leonard Kitchen

Lasagna was great!! Liked the outside patio..wine tasting uneventful..

Taylor Stone

Fun roadside stop, free tastings, but the wine prices were almost double what you'll find at local liquor stores

Jenny Henderson

We were super hungry after our trip up Pikes Peak and had stopped at the Pikes Peak Winery where they recommended the Wines of Colorado for dinner. We were very impressed and loved the roasted potatoes (known in Indiana as hand cut steak fries) and the portobello sanwhich was to die for. My friend had the Colorado wine burger and loved it as well. We hope to make it back here before heading home.

The best spot for wine tasting, buying and enjoying! The food is great too!!!

Horrible experience to say the least. We sat at our table on the outside patio and ordered our food. When they brought our salads, the waitress realized we had no silverware and said she would grab some for us...........15 minutes later, still no silverware. I finally had to get up and find a waitress to complain since our waitress never returned. 7 minutes later (yes I started timing) a different waitress just swings by and drops some silverware on our table, says absolutely nothing and walks off. By this time I am very annoyed but hungry and stuck my fork in my salad and took a bite. I then stuck my fork in my salad again for my next bite and was welcomed by a big black spider crawling out from underneath the salad leafs. Not sure if the spider was already in the salad when they brought it or if the extreme long wait to get my silverware is when it crawled in. Either way I was finished and we got up to leave. I spoke to the manager on the way out. He apologized and stated that sometimes bugs are in the salad from where they order the salad and so the waitresses will not know. Not a comforting response. If this isn't the first time someone has complained about bugs being in the salad then by now they should have started getting their salad from somewhere else. Never returning!

Pretty sure I just paid $15 for a microwaved plate of chicken and pasta, waiter stopped by twice the whole meal. Seems you get better service if you have some wine but I won’t be back for any. Novelty of the restaurant is more appreciable then the atmosphere created by food/staff.

Great selection of Colorado Wine that you can buy and have served at your table with excellent food. I recommend the Bison burgers

Amazing place to dine in and try some good wines.

Table by the creek was beautiful and the food very good!

Nice ambience but slow service

Oof was it bad. Environment was fun but nothing too special. Creek was weak even with heavy rain fall this year. Not there fault but note worthy. Food was brought to us improperly, over cooked and with the wrong cheese. Also had a literal bread tie inside of it. In general, worse burger I've ever tasted and it was 10 buvks. Server literally was tipped nothing because she helped us with ordering food but nothing else. Never saw her again. Drink cup had a gross white mark in it. Came off with just a finger. Compensation was just some wine but honestly still feel like the experience was awful. The experience was so bad I have a few other complaints but in general this place is just horribly inconsistent.

This is a wonderful place to spend some time with friends and family. I love the food and huge variety of Colorado wines. They also have a great selection of gifts!

Food was good, you can taste and purchase wine. Eating and enjoying wine in the Colorado scenery make it very enjoyable.

Lovely creekside dining. Server was great but overworked. But that's memorial Day weekend for you.

Seated and then told to move. After getting up and moving, we were told it would be a couple minutes until we could sit down again. Restruant had 1 other party in the building. Save your time and money. Do not recommend, will not return.

Love the atmosphere great food.

Wonderful place to eat and a great patio. The food's pretty good also

Kayla

The worst service we’ve ever had and and the food is not worth the price. The Chicken Parmesan came with two tiny chicken strips. The meatball appetizer was just one medium meatball, not worth the 9$.
