I’ve been buying seafood here for a 1 year and 1/2. Being from the Gulf of Mexico, this is the best fresh seafood in Denver. The reason I gave four stars is the original owner sold and I’ve only been here once under new management. It was awesome as usual but time will tell.

Great place for high quality sushi grade fish. Very knowledgeable staff helped us find the right cuts, explained where the fish came from and they even skinned the filet and gave us tips on the best way to cut it for sushi. I read other reviews where people thought they might be a little protective of their parking spots, but after seeing the parking situation in that area, I was thankful for the two designated parking spots out in front of the store. I will definitely be returning for more. The fish that I got here made better sushi than any restaurant I have been to outside of Japan.

Best local seafood around. The owner adds a personal touch every time. Order oysters to mollusks and they give extra to ensure the right amount of quality goes into your home cooking. Places like this are few, far between, and never last forever. Take full advantage while you can!

Bruce Johnson, the owner and operator of Seafood Landing Denver went above and beyond for me when I messed up and was suppose to make a big live crawfish order for an event last year. With missing a deadline to order live crawfish online, I panicked and had to find an alternative plan. Thats when I came across Seafood Landing Denver! I called Bruce, he answered the phone promptly and assured me he had live crawfish all with excellent customer service. I drove down to Denver to his store and he welcomed me as I walked in the door. I told him I was picking up the live crawfish order and one thing led to another, I told him my situation that I dropped the ball on ordering live crawfish online and that I needed recommendations on places to rent boiling equipment. Bruce said "I have boiling equipment you can use at no cost". We jumped into my truck and went down the street to pick up his burner, pot and strainer. Bruce not only lended me his equipment for free, but he also cut me a discount (did not ask) for the crawfish. The live crawfish was great, alive and in good size! Will always vouch for Seafood Landing Denver and Bruce!

Don't let the outside appearance of this store fool you - they have an amazing selection of fish and shellfish you won't find anywhere else in Denver. My first visit was extremely pleasant with helpful staff that took time to explain why their fish is superior. Fresh, clean, and beautiful! They also take special orders and carry angus steaks.

I purchased some of the most delicious tuna I have ever had here. I told the gentleman that I was doing a make your own sushi night for my wife’s birthday and he went into the back and pulled out a huge side of tuna. He cut off a fatty and super fresh chunk for me which was absolutely delicious. In my opinion, really the only place to get fresh fish in Denver.

Just moving from California to the Denver area I was looking for a place to get some sushi grade fish. Read the reviews online and decided to try this place out. Just like all the others have said this place is AMAZING! Bruce was very friendly and helpful and didn't hesitate to let us know anything we asked about. He informed us we can order a special fish if we would like too! He just adds it too the daily shipment he gets and it should be in within a day or two. Everything looked fresh and the best part about walking into a fish market is NOT smelling fish. He even gave me a little price break for my first time there so everyone should at least give it a try! A++++ PS Hours are - Tues-Sat 11am-7pm Sun 11am-5pm (Wouldn't let me update hours in details section)

Gorgeous fresh fish. Lovely store with super friendly staff. I hadn't a clue what I was doing, and they were helpful and didn't make me feel silly. I walked away with everything I needed for my first foray into sushi. And the tuna was delish and Gorgeous!! I couldn't resist walking away with some salmon too! I was not disappointed. To boot they even had seaweed salad for my hipster dinner. thank you!!! :)

Relatively small fish market but what they have is top notch. I like that they cut their fish in house. I was a little nervous about pricing after reading the reviews. But I thought it was good for the quality. Staff were very nice and helpful with my many questions (hey, I take my seafood seriously!). I grilled some of their Scottish salmon medium rare with nothing but a light sprinkle of smoked sea salt, and it was melt in your mouth good. Well worth the 30 minute drive.

I have been buying my fish products from Seafood Landing since they moved to their new location on 32nd! We buy fish on a regular basis. Everything we have tried has been fresh and perfect! The big test is always on Christmas eve. We celebrate the Feast of 7 Fishes! It is an Italian tradition in our family. Every year we order 7 different types of fish for our dinner. And every year the fish is perfect. My son even made Uni pasta. Uni comes from Sea Urchin!!! I think we have tried every fish he carries and then some that I special ordered! You will not find better, fresher fish. Bruce knows his suppliers and must demand perfection because I have never had to tell him that something was not perfect! What a treasure! We have been buying our fish from Bruce (the owner) for quite some time. Not only is is great quality, they are truly a community member. Our sons love going into the shop to check out the fish and lobsters. Bruce and other employees are always kind, accommodating and full of fun facts for the boys. Our oldest son recently did a report on Maine, so we got a Maine lobster from Seafood Landing. Not only did Bruce come in early, so we could pick it up on the way to school, he provided us with 2 pages, handwritten, of information on Maine lobsters. Thank you...thank you...thank you. Check out this shop. You won't be disappointed. It's so great to support local businesses who offer an excellent product and give back to the members of the community.

I work here. I think its a great store. Staff are awesome. We are not limited to the selection in the everyday case. We have daily orders and for those who aren't happy with the selection. Please let us know. We also do our best to answer phones. Theres days we are single staffed and short staffed. We aften have to work double time. We have a customer first mantality. All the time when someome walks in the door we drop everything we are doing to give them the best experience. I hope you injoy the store. Its been around since 1974 and is such a amazing experience.

Truly a remarkable place that always yields a great shopping experience. See food, including everything in sashimi grade, is always excellent. That includes the oysters, well cut tuna, scallops, etc. He can also order anything for you at reasonable prices, including 32 kinds of oysters. His limited selection of natural meats has also been excellent.
