The selection of coral and anemones is the best in Denver. This place will be the only place I go. I feel they are a cut above the rest.

On a trip to Denver from Seattle I decided to check out what a quick search yielded as the best saltwater store in the area. Needless to say, Elite Reef exceeded expectations. A well kept store boasts top-quality livestock at really great prices. The biggest reason I was motivated to buy from Elite Reef was their excellent display tanks and coral flats (Alas, corals can't go in a carry-on). The knowledgeable staff actually cares about sustainability in the hobby, and tries to get aqua-cultured corals whenever they can. If I lived in Denver, I would feel lucky to have a place like this so close!

Amazing reef supply store, awesome atmosphere and great music makes browsing pure joy. Great selection of livestock and dry goods as well as a very cool self serve water station. My buddy and I flew into Denver to visit a friend and had to kill some time so we stopped in directly from the airport. The staff was very welcoming and not put off at all by our luggage haha! I wish we had stores of this quality in Cincinnati. The nano tank displays are second to none!

Still one of my favorite saltwater places in town. Staff is very relaxed almost to a fault. They are never pushy, and have some of the best frag prices. I have never purchased livestock here. They have a rewards program that (if you dont lose your coral cash) is a nice bonus. They treated me the same today as they did my first visit, respectful, knowledgeable, and love the hobby!

We explained our complete tank setup and they sold us 2 fish that were not supposed to be together. Once they arrived in the tank, they started fighting. After doing research, it was clear that these fish weren't supposed to cohabitate. Something they should have known.

Great store and friendly staff. I wish they didn't move from their old location. Much further than they were before. Their coral is nice and they really care about the livestock. Haven't seen one dead fish ever there and we have been there several times. We have gotten several fish from these guys and all have been healthy. Their "Elite Reef Cuisine" is the only frozen food we will feed our fish.

I've been going to Elite Reef for the last 6 months. In fact one of the guys there, Zach was just starting to cycle his 90 gal tank. This encouraged me to start my own tank. I now run a 75 gal tank with fish and coral. I bought everything from them including my amazing light that they special ordered just for me after some research on what I wanted to keep in my tank. They always have amazing fish in the store and have several tanks in the store to help their customer's with ideas on aquascaping, to fish in the tank, to what different coral will look like in the tank. Mike, Zach, and Heather are super knowledgeable and do an amazing job keeping the store in tip top shape and keep the store looking professional. I wouldn't suggest buying your saltwater supplies, fish, and coral anywhere else then Elite Reef!! Keep up the good work guys!!!

Me and my wife have always had great experiences here. Knowledgeable helpful staff. Always knows my last purchase and what I'd be looking for next it's crazy. Great quality water, lower quantity of fish then some stores, BUT much higher quality fish at competitive prices. Corals are always on point and selection in huge. They also have costumer incentives like coral cash and frag store credit. I've been to fish den, aqua mart, and the other local stores. This is the one for me.

Sold me a great light, and they have a great selection, but one of the staff in partilcular really didn't seem to know their invertebrates all that well. Sold me one, but instead of educating me on what they ate, the staff said they'll eat whatever bacteria is on the live rock. That's true only to an extent! I'm lucky I took the time to research! It's not worth the trip there if the staff aren't going to be helpful.

Best saltwater aquarium store this side of the Mississippi. Hands down quality people! Been coming here for years. Very knowledgeable and I have always been able to trust in the products they sell. I've traded corals and fish with them for a long time with no problems. Never had a specimen die and usually compared to other retailers thier specimens thrive for much much longer than what you'd expect from a big box store. They keep a variety of fish foods and corals. I love this store. Pricing is fair and I have never had a complaint. They are attentive and respectful. They care deeply for the health of their animals and it shows in thier passionate pride

This is by far the worst place to go if you want to speak to someone who knows what they are talking about. They dont even deserve a single star! 1st they told me that they would sell me two pieces of coral for 150 then when we got wrung up they didnt tell me the total. I got home and they charged me 225! When i went in to speak with them regarding that and a red algae issue the guy didnt even get off his dam stool!!! Wow. I then find out that the one of the pieces of coral they sold me wasnt even what they told me it was! It was supposed to be a rock anemone. I will never go back to a place that swindles me for my money and disrespects me when i try to confront them about what they did. Don't go here. Petco is better knowledged and polite then these idiots are. I sure as hell wont be going back.

This place is awesome. Helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Prices here are much lower than other LFS in the area. Frags and livestock are well maintained and priced competitively with cheap online retailers. This is a saltwater only store. They carry aquariums, equipment, live and cured rock and sand, tons of corals, snails and crabs and the like, and fish/invertebrates. My new favorite store.

The fish display tanks are spotless, animals look super healthy and happy. Corals are for sure the most stunning selection I found around this far. The only downside is that their most beautiful corals are in their many Nano display tanks around he store, which are also exceptionally well kept and healthy. Will for sure be a coming back. Oh, and they also give ya 5$ back in store credits for each $50 you spend there. Can't beat it. Cass
