Had a blast. Was my first time there and I had just as much fun as the kids! Beautiful set ups and the tiger was gorgeous!

Amazing place. I visited here with my nephew a few years ago and we had a great time. He was probably three and fascinated with absolutely everything. He especially loved the sharks, but there were so many attractions to look at that he was enthralled the entire time. We posed with the mermaids and I bought him a stuffed shark as a souvenir. Really great memories and really, really beautiful aquarium.

Eliza Beth

Lots to see. Not too crowded. Reasonably priced.

Elizabeth Bierbach

Shark weekend was so much fun. The scavenger hunt for information made the kids even more engaged in fact finding, and getting to "pet" a shark is something that they haven't stopped talking about!

Anthony Ibarra

The aquarium was an amazing place one of my favorite part was actually the entrance there was a young man named Ron he was a pleasure when he talked to us he told us what there was in the aquarium and he was so nice to us. We were very upset at the wait at first but Ron defiantly made our experience better.

The aquarium itself is great. However, all the “money” games and such are upstairs and the cashier won’t give you change. You have to walk downstairs to get change. Not convenient. Also, you should put a sign up at the 4D movie with a little guidance. You have to purchase the tickets BEFORE you go wait in line for 20 minutes.

Nice place to just chill on hot day. Relaxing experience and the food in the restaurant is really good. Worth the trip. Not my first time and still love it!

Love this Aquarium! So many great sights; fun for the whole family. My only problem is that its expensive. Like, $20 a person. But if you want to see some cool fish, this is the place to go.

Adam Z

Excellent experience. I'd highly recommend it. It's not the most child/baby friendly (restrictions on snacks for babies, etc.), but it's quite well done. The lone tiger exhibit in a sea of ocean-life is a bit strange, but all-in-all a great way to spend the day.

Rey Valenzuela

Great place for family fun always got to see the mermaid show for first time kids loved it

Stan The Man

I love coming here. Great food, beautiful animals. Always a joy. The gift shop ain't too bad neither haha. The workers are always kind and happy to answer questions. I always learn something new, or at least buy something new haha. I love coming.

Anthony Williams

Over crowded. The aquarium is beautiful and the exhibits are amazing but the amount of people and school groups crowding the exhibits made it not worth the money or drive. Entering the parking lot was a nightmare as they only had one gate open and cars stacked up in the turn lanes. My guess is that coming during the off season or during school hours and not in summer, would be a better experience.

Tammy Foular

Love the tropical atmosphere. You can do meet and greets with some of the animals for a very reasonable price. And the tigers were amazing.

Jess

Great experience. Seems like we came at a perfect time, there was a mermaid show for the kids. The aquarium also has a meet and greet the animals up close (extra charge of $15). You can your diving certification here too. The restaurant was great and we enjoyed sitting near the aquarium and watching the fish swim by.

Martin Mccarthy

Dope spot. Tons of different little viewing spaces for the fish. Kinda feel bad for all the fish stuck in tiny tanks that just sit there. Idk. But other than that it was cool walking through and getting the experience. Definitely recommend if you've never been.

Brandi RedCloud

This aquarium was not as big as others we've been to. There was a lot of ppl in the small passageways. It was not enjoyable. The kids liked touching the sting rays, the girls liked the mermaids. They got their faces painted and really liked the random tiger. We paid $116 for a family of 5. Our 2 yr old got in free. Based on the the feeling of not getting our money's worth, we are canceling our trip to the Children's Museum.

Mathew Hutson

It was great. A lot of different sea creatures. No mammals. Not a big fan of the mermaids though. And prices are pretty expensive. A little over crowded. Stood in line for an hour. Need to have two staff to move the lines along faster. Also need signs on flash photography.

The aquarium is very nice and the food is ok. However, there is absolutely no benefit to being a member. You wait longer in the member line than the regular ticket line. The member counter is frequently not staffed and there are no actual benefits to being a member. There is not even a way to renew online. I have been a member for years and I have finally hit my limit. Nice place to visit but don’t waste your money on membership.

This was my first visit to the Denver Aquarium but it won't be my last. There is something for all ages. It is much more than just an Aquarium. Many excellent exhibits of different species of fish. There is also a rain forest and even some tigers to see. There is also a restaurant with wonderful food and great seating viewing a huge fish tank. I highly recommend a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Lai Rex

Fun place for kids. The Mermaid show, face painting and fish feeding are nice. If your kids would like to try the tree climbing, it is only allowed with the shoes with shoelaces.

Bianca Mendez

Loved the mermaid show and the whole family even my 4yr old had a blast the restaurant there was a nice atmosphere but felt the food was not as great as I would have expected for the price but we also got the souvenir glasses so that was nice

WENDIE HALE

Fun place! Kids loved feeding the spitting fish and petting the sting rays. The jelly fish are fascinating! We're had a good time. Very friendly staff.

Richard Wise

As far as aquariums go this one isn’t bad. There is a decent variety of fish and there are plenty of interesting tidbits of information spread through the building. We did not get to see any of the shows that occur through out the day but the staff we did see were friendly and helpful. While there are better aquariums out there this is still worth checking out. Also you should buy your tickets online and skip the line.

Zachary O'Connor

Very cool experience! Pretty good ambiance all around. Went here for date night and was not disappointed. Plus they had a tiger! Don’t know why that was an exhibit at an aquarium but it was still pretty dang cool!!

krisnuda z

Fantastic!!! Great variety of sea creatures in different accommodations. The con is the high price for just the exhibition, around $22 per teens and adults. If you are planning on taking your family to the aquarium when you visit Denver on your next vacations, take this into consideration. All the attractions are around the same price.

Armando Santiago

WOW! There's a reason why it's one of the to aquarium in the nation. If you truly want to enjoy this place get a package ticket, not a regular entry. I've been to different aquariums and seen many of the same animals, but the set up and the feel of the place is what set it apart. A walk through under water tunnel while sting rays and other animals swim above you took my breath away. The tigers and finally feeding the sting rays! My kids were blown away... And my wife and I maybe even more LOL! Great family trip, can't wait to have the opportunity to go again!

Colan Scheidenhelm

Great aquarium with very good staff. All of the exhibits are great and they have stingrays feedings every 30 minutes or so. Lots of fun stuff for the kids

Nami Hathu

It is not a big aquarium. Nice to go with the kids, not really easy to get there also because is small. It was an OK experience. Nothing to say much. You get to touch sea stars Wich it was really nice :) Avoid restaurant please, I mean it looks cool cause you get to see the fishes while you sit, but the food it s reallyyy not worth it.

Aubrey Bass

Super neat aquarium but honestly, it's a one time thing and for the price it cost for admission, I was extremely disappointed that our group was finished in only ONE hour! I expected to be there all day and was not happy to have gone through and saw everything in that short of time. We went through two more times to make it worth the expense ($90+ parking fee for 5 people). I thought the marine life was beautiful and fun to learn about (although there could have been more informative signs, which would have been helpful and educational for kids) and I liked the interactive areas like petting the star fish and sting rays and thankfully they were free! All in all, it was a fun experience but I won't take my kids again for several years

Jacob Budden

This was an amazing experience! However when purchasing the additional things vs your basic ticket I believe they need to do a better job at saying the times of the events such as feeding of the stingrays. We went thru the whole exhibit and loved every moment, just bummed we missed the feeding times because of unknown scheduled times at purchasing.

Great place to see all kinds of fishes and a couple of tigers to boot! Fun times very educational. When it's busy, which I think it always is, expect to wait in line to get up close to the aquariums

Gary B. Haley

My 5-month-old was thoroughly amused! The colorful fish moving around in the tanks seemed to mesmerize him. Money well spent!

Jenni Jane

Had so much fun in the aquarium. Didn’t stay to eat but will do next time. Great variety of aquatics.

Jennifer K. Lopez Nielsen

Aquarium was great but is not worth to get their Value Tkt, specially when you have little kids that can't climb the coconut tree. The other two extras are a small drink, face painting for kids that it is like a little sticker, super small if you don't pay extra for it. Or you can get 2 little shrimp to feed the Sting Ray that you can ped without paying extra anyways.

Aaron Shoemaker

I love coming here! It is such an experience ever time I come. I recommend it for any family day outing. Oh and for some reason they have a tiger there, weird I know.

Samuel De Leon

Very entertaining for everyone of all ages! Mermaid shows throughout the day and face painting for the kiddos. The best part is being able to touch and feed sting rays. They take pictures when you enter at a green screen and with the mermaids if you want to. They give you a ticket which is scanned and they print your photos so you can see them and decide if you want to keep them.. they range from $30+ per package.

This place is amazing and more than we expected. We are from Houston and have 2 aquariums from the same company there. Ours are nice but Denver blows them away. We fed stingrays, petted starfish ate lunch, rode the merry go round and many other things. We had a great experience and would come back often if we lived here.

phuong le

Had a really great time!! We spent an hour and a half touring the aquarium. Afterwards we went to the bar and the bar tender was AWESOME. He was fun to talk to, and super nice. Unfortunately it was his last day. Will definitely come back!

Adam Ayers

For the price I was really disappointed in the lack of wow factor varieties of fish and animals. Signage is either misleading or wrong. Labels list species incorrectly or some species not at all. Fun for kids, but from a science and conservation standpoint this aquarium should take more pride in being educational for all ages.

LJ

Love going here with my family and grandchildren. Learn about life in local colorado waterways as well as general interest species. Beautiful small and large aquariums. Very informative and very well kept. (You may even see a tiger!) We always end our trip at the restaurant for a quick lunch or nice dinner (depending on who's with me!). We go several times a year or more.

Fun place.. super touristy, buts to be expected. Really expensive, but if you're only going once every few years it's worth it.

Michael Overstreet

Great experience!! Very fun for the whole family. A lot of sea worthy creatures that will really make your mind wonder. The only disappointing thing was the tigers weren't around at the time, there only available after dark but nonetheless it is a fantastic experience.

Star Berning

Expensive for everything. Admission is understandable. We love the aquarium but hate the fact they STILL have a tiger for no reason in a completely inappropriate enclosure. I rarely go because I hate supporting that. We love the mermaids and that show was fun! 2 stars for price and continuing to keep tigers captive for zero logical or conservation reasons. Would be 5 without that.

Susan Pettitt

My son really loves going to the aquarium. I love the tigers and my son loves the stingrays. Great place to visit if your looking for something to do in Denver.

Shandie Fontenot

We had such a great time at the Aquarium. The line was quick to get through, all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We learned a lot and even got to sit and have a beer after taking pictures in the photo booth. The 4D movie was also a blast! I loved every minute of it :)

Rich Reny

This place is killer! Their tanks are huge and they have a wide variety or fresh and salt water fish. They also have tigers which is cool, the restuarant has good food with an aquarium wall. The whole place is amazing!

Ethan Paul

Great place. Not a large aquarium but a fantastic experience nonetheless. Great variety of environments and ecosystems represented, educational and engaging. Would highly recommend for people of all ages, whether in groups or just alone. If you're not doing any of the special events it's about 2 hours to see it all, more if you're like me and read every post

Awesome Birthday dinner. Sitting right next to the big aquarium of fish while you eat dinner. Just Awesome. Thank you for the great service

Rebekah Opatril

This was an Absolutely an awesome experience for the kids. They loved every minute of it. The Turtle was our younger son's favorite. Our oldest son enjoyed climbing the tree the little girls had a blast touching the stingray. And my favorite part was seeing the adorable little seahorses.

Fred S

Facility was nice enough to earn more stars. What set a poor tone for the visit was that guests were being permitted to smoke cigarettes while on aquarium property, and right by the entrance ticket line. If someone wants to smoke, that is their choice, but when an establishment advertises as child friendly, I expect it to be a 100% smoke free experience on their property.

Colan Scheidenhelm

James Orr

The price is fair as you can spend a couple of hours here if you like aquariums. A lot of the exhibits have large glass faces which make it easy for little kids. The animal encounters are inexpensive compared with other revenues around the world and specific times can be requested.

T Miller

On a hot summer day it's a nice place to take your family. However it's rather small and you do have to pay for parking. There's some beautiful fish to see. They do have a neat little themed restaurant and nice air conditioning

Madison Otero

There were lots of exhibits and impressive variety in animals and tanks. However, it is very expensive (23 dollars for adults) and very commercialized. They take your picture at the beginning and you have to pay 25 dollars for a digital copy. Most rooms had sound effects playing in them which were loud and, in my opinion, unnecessary. Popular for children, which there were a lot of. Coming from out of town, it was fun but it's not somewhere I would want to visit again. Still, super cool exhibits, would have enjoyed exponentially more if not for the previously mentioned issues.

Audrey L Morehead

Pretty interesting. High admission price for the number of exhibits, compared to the Zoo and the Museum of Nature & History, even the Botanical Gardens. But the food in the Restaurant was VERY GOOD! (Although expensive, too!)

sean Ball

Great fun! Our favorite are the jellyfish and the sharks! Baby sharks were found too, and tunnels, and dinosaur bones, and a tincy little otter

Nepphie

A wonderful place that I recommend having a Visit too. If you're looking for a aquarium with Sweet and Helpful staff and Several species of fish in suiting environments, this is the place for you.

Laura Rodrigues

Our kids really love going to the aquarium. Our baby really enjoyed watching all the fish swim. When we go at night it isn't very crowded and we get a chance to see everything without the big crowds. It is open pretty late so it's possible for a quick trip after work. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because it is really expensive for what you get. It costs a family of four around $80 and only takes about an hour to look at everything. The season pass is a better deal if you go often because it pays for itself in about three visits. Even the season pass is pretty expensive.

Paul Howden

This was the best aquarium experience I've ever had. Tons of exhibits and different types and species. You can get right up close to the glass, and be inches away from huge groups of sharks! There are all kinds of creatures including tigers! Be sure to stop by the manta Ray feeding area, where you can pet live sting rays! The entry fee is a little expensive, at $23 just to get in, but the $29 ticket includes food to feed the sting rays. Go later at night (we went at 6pm) and you'll nearly have the place to yourself.

Jared Bichler

I had a great time at the aquarium; it is a little expensive, but it is worth it. The restaurant is suitable for food, but it does smell like low tide. Also, make sure you get in the line that goes into the window rather than to go inside first.

Mandy S

A little expensive for me. No tigers out, didn't catch any of the shows they have like mermaids. Pretty cool to touch sting rays but that is it. Sharks, fish, frogs, pretty much just like the Denver Zoo with sharks and a small bit more then the zoo but not worth the price of admission.

Keshia Killjoy

It was very busy today, which was expected since the weather was poor. All the staff was friendly and prompt in answering any and all questions, and they did an excellent job keeping the line moving to get inside. We decided to eat at the restaurant, and Jacob was a fantastic waiter, he kept us up to date on the status of our food, as the kitchen was very backed up. He kept a smile on his face the whole time and on a day like today where there was a large amount of people it was greatly appreciated. Next time we go back we will ask to sit in Jacob's section!

Angelica Turrieta

A great place to take the family. Aquarium has a great walkway throughout however is a bit pricey. My younger nice was at times frighten however shes young so maybe better with kids 5 yrs old and up? Highlights- close promixity to active tigers and hands on exhibit with stingrays.

Princess Peach

Awesome! I was pleasantly surprised at the immersion and diversity in marine life. However, what deterred me from coming again was the incredible prices. Maybe I'm cheap, but spending $30 per person for an hour and a half there was not something I'd do twice. But, if you have time and money to spend, check it out! Hardly anyone there, great interactive exhibits, and even a restaurant that I only heard was pretty fair.

Jaici Shiemke

It’s a little expensive for an aquarium, but it’s still a cool place to go to. We paid a few dollars extra to feed the manta rays and that was really fun. They offer scuba diving with the fish or sharks for an extra fee, which sounds pretty cool, but the price wasn’t listed. They also take a few photos of you at the door. Kids can get photos with mermaids. They also have face painting. You can also dine by a tank, but it costs about $40 per person. Outside, there’s a 4d 15 min movie. The movie was kinda lame, but kids might like it.

Tim Paul

This is a nice aquarium. LOTS of fish to see. We liked the otters and the tiger. If felt smallish to me for the price. But the displays were very nicely done to look like the habitat where you would be to see the animals. They had a couple of nice sections where the tanks were over your head and you were looking up through the glass into the tanks.

India Briggs-Chaney

Fun!! The whole family will be in awe of the big and small friends living in water and on land. Fantastic reality of it all is so delightful. Feed the manta ray, experience a simulated hurricane, get a picture with mermaids! Photo ops are everywhere! Been going since our teens were babies. It never ceases to amaze!!

Bird Family Fun Time

This place was fun. When u go to Denver get the "City Pass" and save $. This was one of the 3 locations we picked for ours. When u get to the flash flood exhibit make sure to hang out long enough to see the water. The stingrays at the end that u can feed and pet are a nice touch. Great view of downtown from the balcony at the end. The souvenirs were expensive.

Anna Chasse

Very clean aquarium but still had a really strong smell as you walked in. Loved all the layout and the variety of species. Greater towards younger children but still had fun as adults.

Teresa Palomino

Our family had a great time exploring and making memories. The only thing I would change is the high cost of the photos at the end. All in all this is a great place

Kristie Sheets

Love the atmosphere. Bought a membership and they told me their badge printer has been broken for over 6 months... not super professional and it makes me worry that corners are cut in caring for the creatures here too.

Krystal Murphy

I'm still not sure why they have 3 tigers here. Especially when only 1 can be out at a time. The indoor venue is not sufficient for these giant cats. Conversely, the aquatic exhibits are nice and well maintained. My kids were hoping to see "Nemo" and "Dory" and were very excited when we found the right exhibit. I was also happy to see the sting rays were on a feeding break and not being overfed. We ate at the restaurant for lunch, which still seems really weird to me. Eating fish while watching fish swim by is... odd. The service was pretty terrible and the wait time for our food was very long, but it was all delicious once we finallly got it. The kid's menu is substantial and not just burgers and nuggets. We'll likely come back in a few years but it's not somewhere we'd visit regularly for the cost.

Aaron Shoemaker

I love coming here! It is such an experience ever time I come. I recommend it for any family day outing. Oh and for some reason they have a tiger there, weird I know.

Amanda Reilly

It is a small building that has a lot to see. I do not like the cramped hallways you have to endure though. Especially if you have young children.

Gary B. Haley

My 5-month-old was thoroughly amused! The colorful fish moving around in the tanks seemed to mesmerize him. Money well spent!

Tim Torres

Make sure you kids have laced shoes if they want to climb the coconut tree feature. This was not disclosed when we purchased the tickets nor listed on their website. Also was a short attraction (less than an hour). But you can always take a second pass to try and get more out of it.

Jordan Steel

Great displays and beautiful animals. The mermaid show is actually really impressive!

Michael Havro

Very nice aquarium with a pretty linear path through so that you don't miss anything. Some notable exhibits include watching the otters get fed, the 3 tigers (who are quite active), and petting/feeding the stingrays. There's a snack shop/Starbucks, a gift shop, and a Landry's restaurant with delicious seafood and occasional mermaid show.

Beatriz Escudero-Perez

After visiting quite a few Aquariums this year throughout the country including the Monterey Aquarium in California, I have to say that Denver Aquarium is hands down the best one of all! It is beautiful, huge variety of fish, crazy cool sharks, a Bengal tiger (I dig it), a really cute "Finding Nemo" tank, etc. I loved it so much that I circled the Aquarium twice!

Ethan Paul

4 stars just for expensive cost of entry. It was included with our Citi-pass which made it a little more tolerable. The experience was really cool though. The aquarium is laid out in a way that funnels you from one exhibit to the next and keeps all the visitors flowing in the same direction. Very kid friendly, and despite lots of kids touching everything all of the glass was REALLY clean which made seeing the fish and other creatures easy. Our total visit was probably only about 90 minutes, and I think it would be difficult to spend much more time there. There is a gift shop, a bar, and a neat looking restaurant with aquarium views.

India Wimberly

Went to the aquarium on Wednesday then afterwards to the restaurant. I must say the best part about going was our waiter a Paul. He was outstanding. Very informative and provided us with terrific customer service. One thing I love was how he engaged in conversation with us.

Chris Thetreau

One of the better aquariums I've visited. Just outstanding! They also have a tiger exhibit!

amanda mullins

The aquarium is amazing part is great, the meet and great with the sloth and serval cat were wonderful. After about half an hour of being in the actual aquarium with some parents not paying attention to where the children are and letting them scream like fools we had had enough and needed to leave. No amount of legal anything could make that part worth it. It is not the fault if the aquarium, but the parents who aren't being responsible.

Jeffrey Smay

Fun place to visit to kill some time. Nice displays and quite a few different sea creatures you don't get to see in some other aquariums I've visited.

Rachel Delve

I bought my tickets through groupon and ran into an issue redeeming them. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When we got in the food was good and the exhibits were great! Definitely going to go back!

Jeremy Lane

Fun times! Son's 18th birthday was a request to dive with the sharks. We survived and had fun.

Nathan Tollison

The Downtown Denver Aquarium was amazing! Very large tanks with a large variety of fish and other sea life. They even have tigers! We caught the mermaid show and were very impressed by the performers. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked because it was a holiday and we did not get to try it out. If you're looking for a great aquarium experience you won't be disappointed!

AM D

Amazing place. I visited here with my nephew a few years ago and we had a great time. He was probably three and fascinated with absolutely everything. He especially loved the sharks, but there were so many attractions to look at that he was enthralled the entire time. We posed with the mermaids and I bought him a stuffed shark as a souvenir. Really great memories and really, really beautiful aquarium.

Mike Barnes

Fun place.. super touristy, buts to be expected. Really expensive, but if you're only going once every few years it's worth it.

Sarah Morales

My family and I visit the aquarium in Denver every summer and have for the past 4 years. Last night was the first time it felt like another food chain. Our server was nice but literally had sweat dripping down his face and it makes you wonder if that got into our food or drinks. Also, when the food came out, it was cold, not even a little hot. The best thing we had was the chicken quesadilla on the castaway combo. I tell you, we will think twice before going back there and spending that kind of money for cold food and a sweaty server.

Richard Wise

Martin Mccarthy

Dope spot. Tons of different little viewing spaces for the fish. Kinda feel bad for all the fish stuck in tiny tanks that just sit there. Idk. But other than that it was cool walking through and getting the experience. Definitely recommend if you've never been.

Spencer Scott

Love this place, even own a season pass, but there still is much to be desired there. At the same time, it's the best inland aquarium I've been to, so logistical issues of transporting and supporting larger salt water fishes are understandable. Great walk-through and plenty of exhibits, plus a tiger. I would recommend a visit.

Jessica Stubbs

It was an awesome experience to watch all the different species and learn about them. It was fun being able to touch the stingrays.

I loved it! I came from out of town and I went with my family, it is amazing for people of all ages! Everyone gets very involved in everything and they even have stingrays to pet and feed!

CustomMadeHH

Fun, easy to get to, interactive and very flowy navigation. All exhibits were clean, beautiful and very viewable. Family friendly and not overly expensive. Not too many tour guides and not crowded but staff was helpful and kind.

Jason Phelps

Wonderful twist in a typical aquarium. I have been to dozens in the US and this is the best bar none

Paul George Newman

Love this Aquarium! So many great sights; fun for the whole family. My only problem is that its expensive. Like, $20 a person. But if you want to see some cool fish, this is the place to go.

Zachary O'Connor

Very cool experience! Pretty good ambiance all around. Went here for date night and was not disappointed. Plus they had a tiger! Don’t know why that was an exhibit at an aquarium but it was still pretty dang cool!!

Elzie Gayle

This was my first visit to the Denver Aquarium but it won't be my last. There is something for all ages. It is much more than just an Aquarium. Many excellent exhibits of different species of fish. There is also a rain forest and even some tigers to see. There is also a restaurant with wonderful food and great seating viewing a huge fish tank. I highly recommend a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Jesse Collins

We did a meet Aspen the sloth experience! It was so amazing! You got to feed him & pet him. There are also sharks, lions, reptiles, & of course 1000s of different fish! I would recommend for anyone looking for a different date location, anyone with kids, & anyone looking for something fun and different.

Khoa Nguyen

Amazing aquarium. Fun exhibits and great photo spots

Andrew Ore

Had a great time and my four year old loved the Otters.

synthos4

Neat exhibits. Never seen a tiger in an aquarium before. They need to label their tanks better so people can figure out which fish is which. Or have volunteers who can assert questions.

josiah wallace

The rays are the best thing ever. They are aggressively affectionate.

Beth Sechler Edmonson

Visited with Aspen the sloth & it was fantastic... something my granddaughter & I will never forget!

Eunice-Neecy Munilla

Food was good and service was great! Definitely will come back and dine again. Getting to touch an actual stingray AMAZING!

Alex Reynolds

Took my 4 year old to the aquarium for his Birthday. We brought his best friend and lots of family. My 4 year old, and I stress that, told me a few times, "This is a great celebration Dad." 4 year olds don't say that kind of thing. Any how, we all had a great time. We skipped the party pack and just got the Admiral Membership. Seemed like the best value for this age of kids and getting all the family in. On our way out the kids wanted to ride the carousel so we got a few tickets for some of us to ride with them. As we were getting on Alisha asked if the rest of the group wanted to ride. Well, heck yeah! Alisha was all smiles and a real sweet heart. We also got some great pictures of everyone's smile on the carousel, including the adults. Good times had by all.

Susan Pettitt

My son really loves going to the aquarium. I love the tigers and my son loves the stingrays. Great place to visit if your looking for something to do in Denver.

Laken Schmalz

Really fun for children and lots of things to do. My daughter loved the mermaids and the sharks! You can go through the exhibit as many times as you want.

Christen Lawless

This aquarium was pretty nice. They organize the different exhibits by regions in the world. Kids absolutely love this place - but my husband and I went alone and still really enjoyed it. The have lots of fish, octopus, seahorses, jellyfish, and some other unique animals. I love how they explain their conservation efforts and the scale to which each animal was endangered.

Ian Jenks

The Denver Aquarium is a great place for anyone looking for a fun afternoon in downtown Denver! It's exhibits are amazing with plenty of staff to talk to about all sorts of fish-related things. Not to mention many interactive activities such as feeding stingrays and meeting exotic animals! It's not very expensive and has plenty to do for all ages!

John Barrett

We enjoyed our tour of the Downtown Aquarium. It was about 7 to park, and we paid about 30 each to see the aquarium. (we paid an extra 6 to see the 4D movie). We spent about 90 minutes in the aquarium. The tanks are fabulous. Sometimes they are over your head, sometimes you are standing above where the fish are swimming. There is an exhibit with three tigers in the aquarium (we don't have one, but be advised you are not allowed to take dogs through that room - emotional support, etc) We didn't have any little kids, but there was a lot for them here. Face painting, feed rays, pet rays, mermaid, etc. There were tons of picture taking opportunities. Rainy day place, yep. Super hot day place, yep. You go into the aquarium and a photographer will line you up to take a family picture. If you don't want the picture, simply say, NO THANK YOU, and you will be allowed through. Souvenir shop was pretty good. We wanted playing cards, but they didn't have them. Staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful.

Clement McDonald

overall a great experience The items in the gift shop were overpriced and there were some lame puns on the shirts. The exhibits were great. Speaking of which, why the heck is there a tiger in an aquarium. Maybe that is where the dead fish go. The staff was very friendly and informative. It is better than all of the aquariums in my home state of North Carolina.

Marcus Erzen

The restaurant is amazing. All my son wanted for his birthday was to come to the aquarium and eat at the Restaraunt afterward. The food was fantastic and the steak came out perfect the first time. Our server was Matt. He was incredibly helpful and gave perfect suggestions. We will be back without a doubt. Thank you for making our sons day special!

Perry Bugbee

Great exhibit. Prices are okay for what you get. I think there was more to see at the Aquarium in Salt Lake City personally. My children did like the shark tank with the rays and the tank by the restaurant.

Marilyn Maguire

Met the otters, olive, Olivia, and Amelia and Aspen the sloth. Both meet and greets were incredible. Well versed staff, and was so appreciative the animals wanted to share their time with us. Highly recommend this experience and the staff are wonderful.

Chris J C

Have been to 2 other aquarium restaurants in the aquariums and my home state of Texas, they were much better designed both thru decor and impressiveness of the aquariums themselves. The reason I rate so low is because the aquariums there make the high prices on the menu worth the splurge, here however, it is just overpriced mid quality seafood. Great staff though.

Joe Hernandez

The aquarium is such a beautiful place to be to get a great look at a variety of fish and reptiles! I love coming here I have brought 2 generations of nieces and nephews here and they love the place. Aquarium is a Gem right in the middle of Downtown Denver. The line was a bit long today but the parking was easy and accessible and the line was quick moving. I will continue to patronize this place it truly is the best <3

Nikki Pointer

My boyfriend and I had so much fun here! What a great little gem to go visit! The otters were so playful and interact with you too! Which I loved because they're my favorite animals.

WENDIE HALE

Fun place! Kids loved feeding the spitting fish and petting the sting rays. The jelly fish are fascinating! We're had a good time. Very friendly staff.

Travis Cook

The exhibits are nice. This aquarium is definitely geared towards children. There's a few big tanks with a good variety of saltwater fish, and randomly some tigers that felt out of place. It took maybe an hour to see it all. Unless you've got small children, it's not worth the admission.

Jenni Jane

Had so much fun in the aquarium. Didn’t stay to eat but will do next time. Great variety of aquatics.

Phillip Fischer

Was not impressed by the aquarium. We walked through the entire thing in 45 minutes. Then at the end they have the attractions. Good thing we didn’t buy any tickets for those. The stingray pen was cool, but they only allow feeding during certain times and we missed it by 3 minutes. Was not worth the $23 per adult. Would recommend going elsewhere. The tigers were also not out. It would be cool if their site had a schedule so you could plan your visit.

Siryn Dolphinsong

What a wonderful visit. Enjoyed the aquarium very much. Was a little shocked to see tigers. A pleasant surprise. Definitely a wonderful experience. Lady at photo booth and lady at gift shop were both friendly and very helpful.

Jesse Brown

Eh. Less than impressed with the entire experience. It was expensive for what you got. We anticipated at least a 2-3 hour walk through, only to find we were spit out to feed the fish and gift shop in under an hour and 15 minutes. There are definitely better aquariums around the US.

Alicia Brunson

The entire experience was awesome, especially the mermaid show and photo opportunity! The only thing is that the restaurant was overpriced for the quality you get. You definitely need to book a reservation in advance for the restaurant and plan ahead to arrive early to make the scheduled mermaid shows, if that interests you. I'd still highly recommended this attraction though - a must see experience for those visiting from out of state.

Garrett Massey

I love all aquariums, and this one is no exception. It’s an affordable way to spend the day with friends, family, or a date. I’m particularly fond of the jellyfish.

Elizabeth Bramlett

The aquarium had some cool species that I had never seen before. However, the biggest downside to this aquarium was that the signage felt very lacking. I frequently found myself wondering what something was with no information to be found.

Annie C

The kids love the aquarium. I love it as well but I feel for the price you pay there should be more to see. For kids it is perfect though. The day we went they took our picture a couple times which was cool. The guy told us we’re taking pictures for free, but we paid a whopping $50 to get them when we left. Yikes! The mermaids were really fun to see. Love the tigers, but I wish they had more room. The seahorses were my favorite. I feel The Aquarium should add more exotic creatures as well. A lot of the fish weren’t surprising to see. But overall we had a good experience both times we went.

brittany ruland

Note to self.. dont go on Labor Day again. But definitely buy a pass so we can go every other day of the year. Despite it being super packed today we had so much fun (myself, my husband and our son.) And I want to thank the blonde mermaid today who was the sweetest and most polite girl ever. Also the young miss doing face painting she was so patient and did awesome work on all the wiggle toddlers.

Cadan Evans

I was really impressed by how much there was to see here! We spent a couple hours checking out all the attractions! Not only are there a huge number of fish tanks, they also have otters, birds, snakes, frogs and other animals! On top of that they have shows and interactive activities to participate in that everyone can enjoy!

derek smith

Great place to see all kinds of fishes and a couple of tigers to boot! Fun times very educational. When it's busy, which I think it always is, expect to wait in line to get up close to the aquariums

Sierra Shackelford

Overpriced and not a lot to see. My husband and i have been to much better. Chattanooga,TN aquarium is where its at!

Erik Montpetit

Great place for kids. Might not be the best place for a date at this price point. Yes, they have a tiger.

Elizabeth Bierbach

Shark weekend was so much fun. The scavenger hunt for information made the kids even more engaged in fact finding, and getting to "pet" a shark is something that they haven't stopped talking about!

Jt Blanco

The place itself was fun. The only issue I had was the prices at the cafe. 7 for two sodas and no free refills. Plan to spend there about 2 hours by the time you walk to the whole place. Not sure if I will return to it.

brooke

An awesome place! There’s tons of things the whole family will enjoy like a bunch of fish, a flooding simulation, a tiger, touching stingrays, face painting, a scavenger hunt, a 4D ride, and much more!! There’s a restaurant that serves amazing food there too. 100% recommend, will come back!

Kira Boyle

It's about what you'd expect from an aquarium in a landlocked state. I love going and seeing the fish and other animals, I just have a hard time justifying the entry price for the experience you get. If you're coming with kids, absolutely bring them! It's a great experience for them! But as an adult it leaves a bit to be desired (especially compared with aquariums in states like California or Oregon). I will say this is one of the only places I got to see a mantis shrimp, but the second time I visited it was hiding and we couldn't find it in the tank. The bar has decent food, and the experience of eating with the fish in the background is fun. The Ray experience at the end of the aquarium loop is fun! It's always fun to be able to touch and interact with sea critters. I'd say that the aquarium is a great place to visit once.

Chris Thetreau

One of the better aquariums I've visited. Just outstanding! They also have a tiger exhibit!

Pratima Nayak

Enjoyed the aquarium, spent over an hour to get through all the exhibits. Can feed the sting rays and do other activities for more.

Ben Warren

It has really good displays and it's cool to see these things in a land locked state so far from the ocean. Price is pretty steep for how small it is. You can go around as many times as you want and the tigers are cool

My family loves the aquarium, we try and go every year! The food is great also! The tiger exhibit is awesome also!! And you get to see a mermaid or 3! Definitely recommend, make sure to have a good view of the tank while eating

We came for the otter experience which was very fun, but the rest of the aquarium is pretty lackluster. Mermaid show was very well done by the performers but the Tiger enclosure is simply depressing. It's way too small for 2 tigers and the hanging meat carcass was very Jurassic Park-esque. Maybe bring kids but definitely won't take more than a few hours.

Jeremy Lane

Fun times! Son's 18th birthday was a request to dive with the sharks. We survived and had fun.

Very beautiful restaurant! Will definitely dine there again. Awesome service & portion sizes off the chain!

A great place, so much to see! The aquatic life alone is amazing. Then add the special displays like the dessert flash flood - wow! Price is pretty high though. Would go a lot more if it were more affordable.

I've always had a good experience at the Denver Aquarium. They have lots of big fish to look at, mermaid shows, and you can pet the stingrays. You can tell the staff cares for the animals and the facility is very clean. I was surprised to find that they do have a tiger exhibit too. My only complaint is that the admission is pricey for an hour (1.5 hours at most) of fun.

Very nice layout, I like how it doesn't branch off and keeps you on one path. Honest not as large as I thought it would e but we had just came from the Zoo and DMNS. Ate at the Restaurant after, had the Louisiana Cajun Pasta which was very good.

Having been to a number of aquariums around the country, I didn't go into this one with high expectations. However, I was very surprised, and greatly enjoyed my visit. The tanks were all very well maintained and clean, and the animals all seemed very healthy and in great shape. There were a large variety of exhibits, with an equally large variety of animals. I wasn't a huge fan of the single walking route; I prefer being able to jump between exhibits more readily. I was a bit confused about the dark floodwater room between the initial freshwater exhibit and the following reptile/sea of Cortez exhibit, but maybe it's designed to excite younger visitors. I was very impressed with the coral tanks I saw, as well as the Pacific Coast exhibit. The shark tank was very nice as well. I was excited personally to see arowana, as they're not common in most public aquariums. I had no interest in the shows, and didn't see any so I cannot comment. For the price ($23+7 parking) it's an alright deal, and a very competent aquarium. It's right in line with pricing for other aquariums of this size, and like I said, there was a fair amount of variety. This one is worth supporting, they clearly care very highly for their animals.

The downtown aquarium is a wonderful place for an educational outing. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The facilities are well maintained and lovely. We did the animal meet and greet with an otter and the trainers were fantastic.

I can’t believe I spent $80 to enter this place, keep in mind I didn’t have the highest expectations. Attempted to eat at the restaurant but because we weren’t members is was a 45 minute wait even though half of the place was empty and there were no people waiting. Would possibly come back if we got tickets for free but I don’t even know if we would do that.

A wonderful place that I recommend having a Visit too. If you're looking for a aquarium with Sweet and Helpful staff and Several species of fish in suiting environments, this is the place for you.

Brian Meyer

I love this place. Great for kids and usually not too crowded.

Terry L. Rogers

Great chilly afternoon activity. The que is outside can be a chilly wait. Very nice attractions with a broad variety of species. Restaurant is a bit costly with adequate food. Found it an enjoyable experience.

jamie burke

There were a few nice exhibits however i wouldn't pay $25.00 to see it again. Maybe half that.... Definitely not worth it in my opinion.

Neko Hansamu

So much fun and great, clean exhibits. Too many people to be really comfortable-- loud and kids screaming everywhere. Can't really fault this aquarium for this, but I do wish there were some procedures in place that prevented overcrowding

Mizz Chizz

Great aquarium. Mermaid show was a hit with my daughter. We loved the local exhibits showcasing fish and other animals native to the state. Restaurant was good on quality, variety and prices were reasonable. Will be back for sure.

On a hot summer day it's a nice place to take your family. However it's rather small and you do have to pay for parking. There's some beautiful fish to see. They do have a neat little themed restaurant and nice air conditioning

Brett Lilly

Pretty cool aquarium! The only reason it isn't getting 5 stars is because we didn't see the otters or the tigers. Otherwise petting the rays was awesome and all of the other fish exhibits were cool.

A great place to take the family. Aquarium has a great walkway throughout however is a bit pricey. My younger nice was at times frighten however shes young so maybe better with kids 5 yrs old and up? Highlights- close promixity to active tigers and hands on exhibit with stingrays.

George Fick

A cool aquarium, a little on the pricey side but there's lots to do.

When we went, they were cleaning a lot of the tanks. The Tigers weren't there and there were no mermaids. There wasn't any little set ups for face painting, caricatures or pictures with the mermaids at the end like there usually is. We went into the restaurant and were immediately turned off about eating there because it reeked of dirty fish water. I'm still having a hard time not gagging around fish. Everything in the gift shop was wildly overpriced. Loved the jellyfish and the shark tank..but that's it. Overpriced. Charged for parking. Not a great time.

Erik Montpetit

Great place for kids. Might not be the best place for a date at this price point. Yes, they have a tiger.

Ian Pike

The best aquarium ever n US. I like the idea of following just one route without them thinking if I have been there or not.

I can truly say that I enjoy this aquarium, and it's definitely better to visit when it's not busy. You almost feel as if you're in a different world. Toss in some headphones, turn on some Mozart, and sit on the bench at the shipwreck tank.

The aquarium had some cool species that I had never seen before. However, the biggest downside to this aquarium was that the signage felt very lacking. I frequently found myself wondering what something was with no information to be found.

Cheryl Desvernine

Nice exhibits. I could have done without the added sound effects. I thought the food prices were a bit high.

Rachel Gatt

We had a great time! My kids love to go see all the animals here, and then we finished off with dinner at the restaurant. The food was very good!

The exhibits are nice. This aquarium is definitely geared towards children. There's a few big tanks with a good variety of saltwater fish, and randomly some tigers that felt out of place. It took maybe an hour to see it all. Unless you've got small children, it's not worth the admission.

Fred S

Facility was nice enough to earn more stars. What set a poor tone for the visit was that guests were being permitted to smoke cigarettes while on aquarium property, and right by the entrance ticket line. If someone wants to smoke, that is their choice, but when an establishment advertises as child friendly, I expect it to be a 100% smoke free experience on their property.

stfustephi

Loved the atmosphere. Better than the Tampa aquarium. Very nice staff and clean.

Angelika Joenathan

Many different species of the sea world, oceans and wilderness. Awesome photos and vids can be captured with huge fishes and sharks in movement. They also offer a 4D show. Good restaurant and a lounge.

Aero Schmitt

Wheres the great white sharks you advertise on every piece of paper you have? Seriously got my hopes up. Other than that I had a great time with my family! The kids loved it and we adults did too.

Really fun for children and lots of things to do. My daughter loved the mermaids and the sharks! You can go through the exhibit as many times as you want.

Anel Abdukhalikova

Small but cute aquarium. As always very overpriced when it comes down to byuing photos or something of a gift shop. Mermaid show was nice though, very entertaining.

Dan K

Kaycee D

Fun spot for the kids. Good food. Good service

Mattie Owens

Bring someone who's never been, including yourself. It's a great place to visit with others. See kids, teens, moms dads and grandparents enjoying the wonderment of life under water. At the last visit the tigers were active and the sting rays we happily slurping shrimp from the hands of kids. Put in your name early for a table at the restaurant with underwater views.

A Joke of an Aquarium. Overpriced and Under Stimulating- Especially if you are Over 6 years old. Don't Waste your time and money.

Jesse Collins

We did a meet Aspen the sloth experience! It was so amazing! You got to feed him & pet him. There are also sharks, lions, reptiles, & of course 1000s of different fish! I would recommend for anyone looking for a different date location, anyone with kids, & anyone looking for something fun and different.

quoid og

i like the animals. went with my cousins who i haven't seen in years so it was fun

Nicole Cremeen

Always love going to the aquarium. We did the meet and greet with the sharks this time. It was such a fun experience. My kids absolutely loved it!

If you live in/near Denver, it's so worth it to get the pass. The aquarium stays open much later than all of the other family-friendly Denver attractions, and it doesn't matter if the weather is bad outside to enjoy it. There's a 4D movie theater outside of the aquarium, and season pass holders get free entry. There's also a carousel that runs seasonally when the weather is nice, and a squishy playground type room where kids have parties. You can join small groups and have semi-private meet & greets with some of the animals. I think it's like $10-$15/person and the group is limited to 10 people or something along those lines. Oh and did I mention that they have real mermaids?! Also a tiger or two. And for the adults? Happy hour. It's truly a fun experience for the whole family.

Way too crowded with huge groups of kids from schools. Way to small of building for the amount of people they let in. It would have been at least a 4 star if my family could have at least read the plaques without being mowed over.

Tess Gerber

Not worth the expensive price. I have been to various aquariums and this one simply did not measure up. The wait it very long for about a 30-45min experience. The shows that were displayed were interesting and the aquariums they did have were beautiful to look at. It was just overall very expensive and a very long wait for the very small aquarium. I would pass on this one in the mile high city. I would not go again.

Elisabeth Diamond

Beautiful exhibits, great service, and wonderful food! I have many food allergies and the chief came out to meet me and ask me specifically what I needed. It was my birthday and they served me a special allergy friendly treat. The caricature artist was very talented friendly and fun. Top notch quality in every aspect of our experience.

Katrina Draco

It was a clean and well maintained aquarium. We went later in the evening and it was not crowded which I really enjoyed. Also has a nice bar setup.

Nikki Rodgers

It was OK but I've been to better aquariums. The otters and tiger were neat. And the kids enjoyed petting the stingrays. For as big of a building as it is I just expected more. But we did enjoy ourselves. I will say that it was so hot in all the rooms the day we were there. they had the heat blasting. I am usually cold a lot so if I'm hot you know it's hot. Also they had the music so loud that we could hardly talk to each other. Both of those things may differ from day-to-day but that's how it was when we were there.

Alisha at the carousel was super nice!!!! Lots of beautiful fish and the restaurant was good too. The kids loved the mermaid show.

This aquarium was like no other we have been to and in a good way. After you visit one it seems like they are all the same however the downtown aquarium makes it an adventure through the rivers, critters, tunnels and rainforest. The cute otter loves people and loves to put on a show while you are watching. The river inhabitants is different from the usual ocean water fish and sea creatures. It’s an interactive aquarium that is fun for kids and adults alike with the mermaids and sea diving with the fish experience. The price is similarly priced to any other major city attractions. As well as comparing to our own local aquarium. We loved the stingray pool as well which was up close and personal as we ever want to get to them.

Family friendly, informative and fun! Large aquarium, close to downtown with lots of close parking (not free, fee was $8). Clean exhibits, a tiger, great variety of creatures, and lots to see. Manta ray contact pool and friendly staff.

Linda Salais

Long wait for tickets, but it was a holiday weekend. I really enjoyed it and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable as well. The caricature artist was a woman that day and she was awesome. Definitely recommended!

Shelly Linsenmaier

Aquarium is fun, but the restaurant was just good. A little pricey for what you get. But the creme brulee was terrible. Don't order it. It tastes like room temperature butter with carmelized sugar on top.

Ortloff Chelsy

Smells terrible but was an okay adventure. My daughter loved it especially the sting ray part. However as an adult, you could see the mistreatment, lack of care. Won't be back but was an interesting experience

I'd say that the aquarium is a great place to visit once.

synthos4

Neat exhibits. Never seen a tiger in an aquarium before. They need to label their tanks better so people can figure out which fish is which. Or have volunteers who can assert questions.

Utsab Sarkar

Good place for kids adults. Something for everyone

The overall experience would have been a 5 stars if it was not for that one staff. 6 of us have just finished the whole tour around the aquarium, and my father wanted to go to the restroom. We tried looking for public restrooms outside but could not find any. We came back through the entrance, asked the lady (short brown hair) if it would be fine for us to go to the restrooms across the entrance. She was very friendly and gave us to the exact location. Told us to just go through the guy (long hair with sunglasses) holding the camera once again to go through. We waited in line, got to him and asked if we could go through because my father is over 55 and has more health problems. He got all annoyed and asked if we have gone through the process before, we all said yes and showed him our wristbands from earlier. He let us through and asked my cousin, who was in front of all of us, a question, however he was already walking to the restroom and could not hear him, he rolled his eyes, gave an attitude and loudly said “That’s not what I asked” so all of us could hear. My father passed him, smiling saying thank you and he just completely ignored him and looked in the other direction. But overall, other staffs were amazing, very friendly and willing to help us. The scenery is amazing, the 4D experience was also great. Recommended overall!

My granddaughter wanted to come here for her birthday. We had lunch at the aquarium and it was super good! The mermaids were great! The kids loved looking through the glass, so much to look at!!! There were 8 in our party and the service was awesome! We did the tour and were awestruck by all the sea creatures! The Bengal tigers were super cool too!

What a wonderful visit. Enjoyed the aquarium very much. Was a little shocked to see tigers. A pleasant surprise. Definitely a wonderful experience. Lady at photo booth and lady at gift shop were both friendly and very helpful.

Met the otters, olive, Olivia, and Amelia and Aspen the sloth. Both meet and greets were incredible. Well versed staff, and was so appreciative the animals wanted to share their time with us. Highly recommend this experience and the staff are wonderful.

Tim Torres

Make sure you kids have laced shoes if they want to climb the coconut tree feature. This was not disclosed when we purchased the tickets nor listed on their website. Also was a short attraction (less than an hour). But you can always take a second pass to try and get more out of it.

James Orr

The price is fair as you can spend a couple of hours here if you like aquariums. A lot of the exhibits have large glass faces which make it easy for little kids. The animal encounters are inexpensive compared with other revenues around the world and specific times can be requested.

Cadan Evans

I was really impressed by how much there was to see here! We spent a couple hours checking out all the attractions! Not only are there a huge number of fish tanks, they also have otters, birds, snakes, frogs and other animals! On top of that they have shows and interactive activities to participate in that everyone can enjoy!

Aline Garcia

Amazing! Great to go with family! My kids loved . You can give food for fish! Its pretty cool

Nina Magie

Probably good for parents with toddlers, but not for anyone over 5. Very small venue which tends to get very crowded and stuffy. We also felt it was overpriced for what they have to see.

I have been here many times and it is always great. I love feeding the rays at the end, and there are so many fantastic things to see like seahorses, jellyfish, sharks, otters, coral, and more! Even tigers if they aren't too sleepy. I was also able to interact/have a meet and greet with a sloth here a few years back, which was a once in a lifetime experience. I've celebrated New Year's Eve here as well as a couple of birthdays. Fun for any age.

Jinan Chaarani

Great oceanlife and wildlife. Love that they have large sharks. The sloth encounter was not as good as I expected, the staff were anxious and uptight and made it difficult to feel comfortable around the animals. They also had too many strangers in 1 group.

Kristie Sheets

Love the atmosphere. Bought a membership and they told me their badge printer has been broken for over 6 months... not super professional and it makes me worry that corners are cut in caring for the creatures here too.

Gary Tran

Awesome place for everyone at any age group, once awhile I see parents more excitement than their kids,I am one of the parents. Love it

I love the Denver aquarium! This is such a fun place to explore with kiddos. Lots of information about the different types of fish, birds, tigers and plants. The sharks and sting Ray's are always fun and surprising to see and the swim overhead. They currently have mermaids as well that swim in the tanks from time to time. You can also learn how to scuba dive and swim with the sharks

Went to the aquarium on Wednesday then afterwards to the restaurant. I must say the best part about going was our waiter a Paul. He was outstanding. Very informative and provided us with terrific customer service. One thing I love was how he engaged in conversation with us.

A great exhibit and must see when visiting Denver ,GO THERE FOR SURE !

Don Harshman

Did the mermaid themed birthday experience for our daughter. 10 kids 10 adults included guided tour and the cherry on top was the private dining area with the play area for all the kids. We got a few of the chicken wrap platters and the seafood platters. Kids had pizza and apple sauce. Food was good. We also had the mermaid visit the childeren and we think it was a memorable experience for the kids and parents. The aquarium handled everything from food to party favors for all the kids. We even got framed photos for all the parents of the kids with the mermaid. Very good time and my daughter was not only happy but also tired from all the fun she had. I would totally recommend this!

Garrett Massey

I love all aquariums, and this one is no exception. It’s an affordable way to spend the day with friends, family, or a date. I’m particularly fond of the jellyfish.

Lisa L.

So nice! The restaurant is connected to the big fish tank. You can find dine and watch the underwater mermaid show a la mode!

This would be a good place to take kids. As an adults I still enjoyed myself but it's very underwhelming compared to other aquariums I have been to. There are 2 tigers which is interesting and a "petting zoo" where you can pet some kind of Manta Ray. I spent about an hour walking through with my friend. If you're just visiting Denver I wouldn't say it's worth it but if you live here it's worth checking it out.
