I really wanted to see this place. My wife found the website online and I looked over it for two days. I decided to go but failed to check hours of operation only to find out once I drove all the way over there in rush hour traffic that they are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Never seen that before. Probably will not go back either. Hours of operation seems like it's a part time joint. Good website though.

Went here today to have a pokeabout, no actual aim in mind. The respect the owner has for live aquaria is apparent in their keeping. This isn't just an aquatics shop. It's a community place-he hosts frag swaps that start in March and is active on FishTankLife of Southern Colorado on Facebook. I'm looking forward to getting more Macro algae once things come in season!

By far the best fish store in El Paso County. They have the best customer service in town, very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming, not at all pushy or rude. Great selection and pricing, lots of fish that you won't find anywhere else nearby. Also, they have a great trading program and offer lots of other accessories and gear at very low prices, both new and used. Absolutely my favorite fish store I've ever been to. I recommend to all in the hobby, beginners and experts alike! The owner, Joshua, will take great care of you. What other store in town has this many awesome reviews and five star ratings? None! The fish tanks were a bit dirty when we came in, but the fish were happy and healthy, indicating it was probably about time for them to get cleaned. They had a nice selection of fish and gave us suggestions for keeping our snail's shell nice and healthy.

The guy was super friendly, and the prices were great. However, after purchasing fish we thought were peackock cichlids, it turned out only two of the 6 actually were. One of the fish we purchased actually is a mbuna, which is actually known for killing peackocks. Not sure if he knew, but that's what we found out.

FANTASTIC STORE! My boyfriend and I recently moved from Alabama to Colorado. Unfortunately, our mass collection of larger fish couldn’t make the 23 hour drive with us and we had to start over. The staff at Aquaria Masters is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and dedicated to making sure you have a healthy tank. We bought more than 20 fish, all, of our fish from Aquaria Masters and we won’t be going anywhere else in the future.

We had a couple of false starts with fish we got online or at other local stores, but since finding Aquaria Masters our system has been running successfully for nearly a year. I bought only 2 feeder crawfish and a bit of food, but the man helping me was so incredibly informative. Its a wonderful looking store with many amazing varieties of fish and invertebrates. Their Koi looked healthy, much more healthy than many other stores i have been to. The people were friendly and were happy to show me what i wanted, great store!

After having bad luck with valley pets, i walked in here not knowing what to expect, and was absolutely shocked with how great this place is! Some of his tanks have algae, but to me that just indicates a healthy tank, and all the animals in those tanks look healthy and happy! I was especially pleased with his knowledge about pufferfish, and ended up getting a pea puffer who is still healthy and going strong after 2 weeks! I was so nervous to get another puffer fish after one I got from valley ended up having internal parasites and dying, but the gentleman working assured me I was doing the right things and that from the sounds of it, it truly was the fault of the store for selling me a sick fish. So knowledgable and kind, answered all of my questions and made sure I knew how to best take care of my new fish friend. Will definitely be visiting again in the future, and highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable fish store, who isn't going to sell you sick fish at a ridiculous price.

I read all of the wonderful reviews and thought that I would stop in for a visit, needless to say the reviews are 100 percent accurate. I have been all over town looking for specific plants for my fresh water aquarium, which Aquaria Masters had a majority of in Stock. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful, and prices are very reasonable. I was able to trade some equipment that I no longer needed for in store credit, which helped out a lot. I will be returning to the store time and time again!!

After doing much research, and years of keeping fish tanks. I decided to try my hand at shrimp keeping. I looked at tons of shrimp online, but then was amazed to discover that we have a LFS that has better quality and selection than what i was looking at online. Definitely a top notch establishment. I went here to check it out after seeing the good reviews. It is a small intimate shop which I enjoyed because you get 1 on 1 service. Everyone was more than helpful and listened to my story. I ended up purchasing a pearl groumi and a blue acara as my centerpiece fish. They addressed all my concerns. My new fish are healthy and not aggressive with my smaller fish which is what I was worried about. My tank is peaceful and we love our new fish. Thank you!!!

I absolutely love coming here. Ive gotten 3 potbelly mollies, two dwarf puffers and a ton of plants from this store. The fish are all so healthy and the plants are growing great. What really makes this store amazing though is the owner. He is so passionate about fish. Wether or not its busy he treats each customer that he's with like they are the only person there. He doesn't rush you at all. He talks to you about different fish options to best suit your tank. He answers any questions. I have green water, he took the time to explain why its happening and different options to take care of it. The store hours are a bit erratic since it is just one person but if you call ahead he can make appointments, even if the store isn't usually open at that time. I cant recommend this place enough, its always my first stop when looking for fish supplies.

I personally have never been to this shop. I’m sure it is wonderful based on reviews. However, I do receive a phone call from someone looking to speak to aquaria master almost every other day, as we share the same number minus the area code. Please remember to dial the area code first, or you will get the springs version of his phone number. I don’t answer my home phone if I don’t recognize the number, so all these calls just get ignored unfortunately. I decided to post something in case it will help someone get to the right place.
