It is a great ice cream shop, and nice to visit on a hot day. I personally recommend grabbing a group of friends (~8), and tackling the Vermonster (a bucket of ice cream, cookies, and brownies). You will have to ask for it, since it is not on the official menu. If you are not into that, or squeamish about germs, the ice cream slices are good as well. There are also decent vegan options.

The perfect place for a hot summer day. I visited in July and the staff was kind to their customers and pets. Even though they have a strict no pet policy this didn’t stop them from providing a dog and a puppy with fresh water while they waiting for their caretakers to finish their ice cream. This is the worst ice-cream location in America. The location is dirty, there is a leak from the ceiling in the middle of the store, a dirty bucket is used to collect the dripping water and there is mop bucket besides it. I got ice-cream in a cone and the cone was stale!

We stopped by on a last minute decision, during a quick visit to Boulder. It's Ben & Jerry's ice cream, so it tasted exactly as I expected, but the price was not quite what I expected. We paid $13 for these two small cups of ice cream. The service was friendly and fast. But honestly, for the same price as a small cup of ice cream here, I'd rather go to the grocery store and pick up a half-gallon of super awesome Blue Bell ice cream.

Overpriced, but decent ice cream. They did give my dog mint chocolate chip ice cream (chocolate is toxic to dogs), which I believe was an honest mistake as I had ordered vanilla. By the time I realized the mix-up, my dog had already consumed 75% of the ice cream. It was $4.64 for the dog scoop, which was only $0.14 less than my small cup that was considerably larger.

I have only been here twice, but both times the employees have been very helpful and nice. To help you make your choice, you can sample any of their flavors that they have behind the counter. You can get your ice cream in a waffle cone, bowl or cup as a shake. They also sell prepackaged pints some that are non-dairy and they also sell ice cream cakes. For any Ben & Jerry's fans this is a must stop location.

I stopped here after shopping and was very dehydrated and just dragging. I think it showed on my face and the woman working the cash register asked how my day was. She was so sweet and personable, instantly made me feel better. I ended up either saying the wrong ice cream name or they misheard me but they instantly got me a new one and in what I wanted. I went in there to get a smoothie. The guy behind the counter made my smoothie a total of 4 times. The first two times he said it was too watery. So when he gave it to me after the 3rd time, it tasted like flavored water. He said he’d remake it. 4th one was even worse. I was the only customer in there and it took 20 minutes! It wasn’t even drinkable. I gave up and walked out the store. Threw the smoothie away. Waste of money and time.

The Death By Chocolate shake was killer chocolatey- so if chocolate is your thing you must have this shake! If you are a Ben and Jerry's fan then you should stop buy for a cone.

I am so sorry to see the rant from Prajwal. Full disclosure, I am acquainted with the manager accused of abhorrent behavior and was in the store at the time of the so called incident. The descripton was entirely fantasy. The exchange had to do only with several civil requests to comply with company policy. That is to buy something to use the facilities. Dude promised to do so after using restroom, never intending to comply. Whatever, he was sly liar. Has no reason to complain. And should just get over it.

The City Place Ben and Jerry's always finds a new way to disappoint. But I forget and come back. The service is always horrible grouchy service. I went in with a coupon and they gave my child a tiny little scoop he sighed and was disappointed. I complained and told them he was disappointed. They argued with me that it was a kids scoop. The coupon said a regular size scoop and they back tracked that it was a regular scoop. I talked to the person in charge and they very very begrudgingly gave me a bowl with a tiny little bit more. Always scowls in this place. I think they have a fun game they play to see how small a scoop they can get away giving a customer. Ugh, always sooo disappointed here. I wish the ice cream was horrible too so I wouldn't go back every six months to a year. With just a little bit better service I would be there weekly. I am so sad, I love ice cream. They don't cleanup the store often. Not much pride in this shop. Update, 7/22: Employees were more welcoming this time. The problem this time is the wording of the groupon. The groupon says a 'Regular scoop'. But the Silver Spring location has only 'kids scoop's and 'double scoops'. So they defaulted me to the 'kids scoop'. You can see my frustration that I thought I was getting a normal amount with my coupon but they pulled a trick and give the customer the small size. I need to lower my expectations? Wait, no I'm the customer, they should exceed my expectations. If the wording isn't the same I should get the larger size. Not the smaller size. Still disappointed. My default ice cream is still Baskin Robins, a fifteen minute drive, vs B&J, which is walking distance. from my house.

Let's face it, the only reason you come to a Ben & Jerry's is to eat ice cream. That's all you can really do here. Its a small space, but there is some seating and a small bathroom of you need it. But the ice cream is delicious. A few of us got waffle bowls for our ice cream and they were made fresh. Slightly warm, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Lots of flavors to choose from and the price is reasonable.

All your favorite classic Ben & Jerry's flavors as well as quite a few traditional ice cream flavors. Have a good array of options for all tastes and a good few non-dairy options for those in need of them. Don't love the way they're presented, as I personally like to also see the ice cream through the glass to make better judgements on what looks tasty, but make it work well for the space given. The staff were also quite nice and made the experience a good one.

I went with my friend Curtis Glassberg and Evan Fischer and walked to the Northridge Mall and walked inside and walked to Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. We went in line and Curtis ordered a Mango Lemonade and he paid with cash. Evan also ordered his smoothie and he paid with cash. I ordered a Strawberry Banana smoothie and I paid with cash then the cashier did good customer service and there is no Men's bathroom.

First step in the place smells good with all the ice cream and sugar hitting your nose. Their ice creams are great, even their smoothies. Only problem I have is that sometimes when I visit the floor is kind of sticky and littered, and the tables are dirty with other people's trash that they didn't clean up. Overall though, it's a great ice cream parlor.

I've been this location so many times just never bother saying something. Today I was packing up things to be ship back to vegas when a text from neighbor saying free cone day. I totally forgot about it. I mean flatout forgot even when couple of social media outlets mentioned it last week. So I had plenty of time today got there a little past noonish the line was about forty people deep. While waiting in line a worker approach people asking if they want to skip line and head straight to counter. I said hell yeah. Little did I know it cost two bucks and the money goes to a program I vaguely remember now. When I got near the front I was disbelief on how they organized they were by not overpack people inside. Workers are seen with powder free poly food prep gloves ready to go. Can you believe they're actually doing the waiting for people to make up their mind instead of other way around? I'm glad B&J's have this annual event because nothing beats out ice cream made the traditional classic way. I could smell the sugar before we even walked in - smelled amazing! Nice service behind the counter and they were so helpful in preparing our cones without peanuts. Had a dairy free option with swirls of caramel and almonds that tasted so fantastic, I kept asking if it really was vegan! When you are on the Pearl Street Mall, this is a must stop especially for visitors from outside Boulder. You deserve a treat!

Dirty and very rude staff (at least one of the ladies working on Sunday at 8pm). She was annoyed we decided to add another cone order after we said we would get only one, and she made sure we knew she was mad about it. She took the payment with a card and just walked away from the register, not even offering the receipt, we just went to sit and try to enjoy the ice creams but the tables were all dirty with used napkins and some Even with empty cups and spoons.

Ben and Jerry's are usually easy to review because the ice cream is universal and yummy. So it usually comes down to the location and service. This one is great because it's a perfect respite for kids and families during a day of visiting the Pearl Street Mall. The location is perfect. We happened to go on free cone day, and the staff were amazing. They managed high throughput (there was a long line that was moving fast) while keeping it friendly and personal. This location will be on my go-to list whenever I visit Boulder.

I went to school in Vermont so Ben and Jerry's is sort of the bar by which I measure all Ice cream. This establishment is nice and has a good selection. As others have mentioned it is a bit on the pricey side (unfortunately everything on pearl street is).
