I frequently went to Peter's fish market when Peter himself actually owned it and it was great but I recently sent a friend to buy an order of fried rice and I found a maggot in my order so I will definitely not be going back instead i'll make the drive to visit Peter's other restaurant Love's on John Barrow for the food and service I remember.

Visited this place while passing through town. Very local, mom and pop feel. Plenty locals were there waiting for orders (place is popular). Good food cooked to order with great flavor. Decent portions, simple menus. Stop by if you're in town.

Through catfish filets are pretty nice in size and very affordable. However, it tastes bland. It has no seasoned taste. My ex boyfriend went here long ago and it was delicious. I guess the recipe isn't consistent. However, I'd recommend this place to someone who doesn't like food that's seasoned.

Peter's is NO longer owned by the sweet Oriental lady. New owners are VERY slow, but the food quality is still good.
