Service is lacking, ordered the baked catfish meal which comes with wild rice. Waitress brought me the fish with no rice. Waitress says" out of rice" , she walked away. No substitute, she didn't come back and ask me if I wanted anything else because they were out of rice. She didn't give me the option of changing my order.

I used to love this place. The salad bar has gone to pot. My baked potato was hard my Dil had mashed potatoes that looked like a scoop of concrete. The steak tasted good but it was not a rib eye it was a breakfast rib eye which we all know is a very thin steak. For 24.00 I expected a real steak. We had a cheeseburger, steak, and hamburger steak. The bill was 70.00 .

Whenever we come visit our family here in Heber we come to Mack's it's good friendly and the service is good they get busy but they do their best and they handle large crowds very well. Did a large take out order and it was perfect. I have never been disappointed.

I've passed this restaurant 100 times and never dropped in. Glad I finally did. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Great ribs, spicy Texas Toothpicks and some of the very best hushpuppies (a lagniappe) I've ever eaten. Service couldn't have been better. I'll be back. Highly recommend.

Three for dinner 6/24/19. Fried catfish tiny pieces, tasteless. Fried chicken breast large, breading too heavy, unseasoned. Huge portion of bacon cheddar fries, minimal bacon, cheddar tasteless, heavy with grease. $50 plus tip way to much for such mediocre, pretty much in edible food. Won't be back

From Little Rock I’ve been twice. Each time was great. Clean restrooms and spacious seating. Courteous staff. Steaks and catfish have been satisfactory. A bit pricy but with the offset of unlimited beans and hush puppies, the worth is while. I look forward to returning. I see they have some great looking deserts.

I went there last night for dinner and I ordered the food that I wanted...A bacon cheeseburger with onions and mushrooms and it was so good I loved it I also got French fries barbecued baked beans and coleslaw.. I highly recommend you going there for dinner sometime Christ was very reasonable and the waitresses were very nice..thank you for a wonderful dinner..

My fish wasn't seasoned and undercooked, the catfish was undercooked. I could hear the staff fighting in the kitchen and the waitress was constantly on her phone and tried to double charge us for salad bars we didn't eat. Overall I wouldn't stop here and just keep driving up the road to Cafe klaser's.

Wish, I knew about this place when I worked at the airbase. A must stop if headed to the dam site. Their coleslaw is what coleslaw should be like. I've never had coleslaw taste this good outside of the Northeast. Just a little lemon and it's absolutely perfect. Their dessert section is very impressive and their customer service is stellar. They still have wooden plates!

I want to give them a 4* because the food when we got it was good. They were understaffed and working the staff that was there into the ground. It is a no win situation for those serving in that situation except the automatic gratuity that was added to the bill.

Usually when I go here, the food is great especially the fish and the shrimp. The server was prompt and brought everything to me without me having to wait. The prices are very reasonable. However, I had to dock a few points for the quality of the food I ordered. I ordered the club sandwich and it tasted stale. Also, the mac and cheese was Kraft mac. I could tell by the shape of the noodles.

Oh my gosh the French fries are awesome and the cat FISH IS DELICIOUS! Thepickled tomatoes are really good too. I'm not much of a pickled tomatoes person but they were sweet like bread and butter pickles. The unlimited hush puppies are also amazing you have to try the food there. For my first time I will definitely will go back. Everyone was so courteous too.

Even though the headline is "fish", they have very good steaks and many other excellent choices. They are famous for desserts, so leave room. That is unless you're trying eat somewhat healthy, in which case their southwest salad with jalapeño ranch is the best!

Very pricy for the quality. My steak was super thin. Grilled shrimp had 0 seasoning. Fried pickles were too salty to eat. Almost $50 for myself and a 10 yr old to eat. I regret spending that money when $10 at taco bell would have been all the same. Staff was very sweet.

Local Catfish house with a diverse menu. Ham and Beans were very good. Catfish was under seasoned but was acceptable. I am a bit worried they maybe falling into the trap of being stagnant and not updating to keep up with competition

They messed up our carry-out order but we didn’t realize it until we got home. Had to drive back, and had a terrible time getting it resolved. Maybe it was an off-night for them, but it was my first (and probably last) visit. Food was average, and not worth the extra 45 minutes to get the order corrected.

Just traveling through and googled good catfish restaurants near us. Found this "diamond in the rough" great place. The outside is misleading and kind of hard to see from the road. The food was really amazing. Lots of food in the dishes. The catfish was wonderful. We seriously enjoyed the fried pickles. Just so flavorful. The staff were fast with their service and attentive. The restroom was very clean. That makes me feel like the kitchen is as well. The only issue we had was the table was not pristine. Just a spot of sticky ketchup.

Service was average. Food was average. Prices were above average. The cold bar sneeze guard where the pickled tomatoes, Cole slaw and onions was so dirty and dark I couldn't see what was in it. I had to duck down and look under neath to see what it was. My catfish was burned hard as a rock on the ends. The French fries and sweet tea was good thus the 3 star.

Hi there. I’ve had the most disrespectful experience from this place. I’m from Louisiana and in Arkansas for vacation. Me and a friend came and ate her here due to food ratings. I barely touch the food I had and had it in a “to go” plate. I went use the restroom and came out and noticed that everything I had was gone not to mention my glasses were also taken as well. I call the manager to see if there’s anything they can do. She acted as if there’s nothing they could do. She then offered a gift card but I’m not from here I’m from Southern Louisiana. Well we were on our way to our next destination and I noticed my glasses were missing. So when they confirmed my glasses were there we went and asked for the manager. They lied and said that she wasn’t there. Then I got upset and when they kept on telling me it was my fault that I left when I never did leave...the manager “all of a sudden” was present and forced me to leave because I was upset. So I paid for something I couldn’t even eat! THIS IS NOT how you handle things. I understand I’m in a different state, but it’s the principle of the matter. I’ve never been treated like this at a restaurant. Never again will I go to this place!!!!

Hushpuppies are great! Wouldn't order the Bang Bang Shrimp again. Love when they had beef tips and rice that was superb, but I guess they don't serve that anymore. Popcorn shrimp is good though. Seems to be a very busy place so I'm sure there are many other great things and they have like homemade desserts pies and stuff.
