This Fish Shop is classified in the category of Seafood restaurant.
We love the varity and the price of the food. I always eat too much and have leftovers for the next day. It is a 45 min drive for us and well worth it!
A family tradition!
Excellent, delicious food and family owned.
Waitress was fine, but do not order the crawfish. Was not cooked properly, didn’t taste good, and was super hard to peel. Plus the crawfish was very tiny. Waste of money.
Service sucks
we love eating there we have known Mr O Keith since we all lived in Camden,
Fish is always horribly over cooked
Too pricy and barely any food..it was good tasting though.
Great food, great service!
Me and my wife stopped here during one of our visits to De Gray lake. We were skeptical at first because of the few guests and a bit of an outdated look inside. Shame on us. The service was very good and the food was outstanding. Their seafood offerings are a bit pricey, but well worth it. Everything tastes fresh, especially for a restaurant this far inland. Their chicken is great and all the sides were good.
Small, family-friendly, informal, seafood restaurant. Varied selection of menu choices. Best place to eat in the area. Moderate prices.
Best family restuarant around
If I could give it a no star I would. I didn't mind waiting to be seated but no one brought us to a table the manager or owner told us to seat ourselves and that we didn't have a waitress but that someone would get to us. Someone finally did we gave them our order and after waiting for an hour someone came and said they had dropped our ticket and that it would just be a minute. Finally got the food cold and disgusting is how I describe it. I will never go there again because when I talked to the manager about it everything was my fault or an excuse. Horrible!
Not good enough to go back
The Set-Ups are great! The rib-eye was excellent and well cooked. Catfish is pretty good and salad was average. GREAT SERVICE!
It was very good
This shouldn't even be a half star. The fried green tomatoes was prob the best they have. The service sucked, the food was cold! The only thing the sever was prompt about doing was dropping the check off, that was done as soon as she brought our cold food, never offered to refill our glass, not even once!! Wouldn't waste my time to ever stop there again! EVER!!
Cozy little seafood restaurant nestled between Arkadelphia and hot springs near DeGray Lake. Great staff and food selections with wonderful prices. Please try the hush puppies!! They are to-die-for!!! Family owned and operated.
Very good
Chosen as one of Arkansas's best local owned Restaurants
We loved that they serve "family style", with bowls of food placed on the table for everybody to dish up what they want. The pickled green tomatoes were fantastic. The seafood is fried (Duh, you're in the south, they don't grill and sautee that much here), but it was not stale or tough. Overall, a good meal.
This was a great choice! We stopped in after playing all day. Great selection of food. Great servive. The food was awesome!!
wow! We had a group of 25 and the service was exceptional. The only thing better than the service was the food. The catfish was real good. The boom boom shrimp was boom boom great. The fried green tomatoes were fantastic with a little bit of zip, in fact only thing better than the fried green tomatoes and the fried pickles was the fried Gator bites! Madison was our primary server and she was the best. You could hear the smile in her voice as she grinned from ear-to-ear taking care of us before we even knew we needed more drink. I tried to drink all of my drink but she kept filling it up faster than I could possibly drink it. She was great. And the prices, ....fantastic... Hats off for for terrific service, great tasting food, and 25 very happy and satisfied guests!
We ate the blackened catfish-grilled shrimp and hand breaded coconut shrimp! Everything was great! They also made to order thin onion rings that was wonderful! We would recommend this place highly and will come back when we are in the area!
Good food, good atmosphere..but the last time I was there I had hair in my food and the guy acted like it wasn't a big deal. "Things happen" is what he told me. He took that portion off my bill but still made me feel like it was not a huge problem. We will wait awhile to return.
Good southern food.
There is a waitress here, her name is Anna-Grace. She is an angel of a waitress. There are other waitresses that are super mean and had bad attitudes and still Anna-Grace was sweet and efficient. The food was great, but it was the service I wanted to commend.
Delicious food! Great hospitality!
Good food, fair prices.
Clean friendly good food
Horrible!!! A hair came in the alligator bites, fried in the batter. We returned it immediately to the kitchen. The manager did not care about this total lack of sanitation and hygiene. He changed us for mediocre hamburgers and he said he would not charge for the alligator with Cook's hair. A total disgrace if restaurant and manager, only the waitress was apologetical and her service was good.
Delicious food, great service, and cute fish.
Amazing food
Went last night. While the food and service were both good, we were all made incredibly uncomfortable when the owner decided to be very rude and disrespectful to one of the waitresses about how she was cleaning a table right next to us. When she mentioned that he shouldn’t be acting that way in front of customers, he turned to us and asked if we needed anything. The whole interaction with the owner came off has sleazy and two faced, leaving a bad taste in our mouth for the remainder of the night.
Been going here for years. Best catfish n fixins around.
Outstanding food and quality service.
Very good
This was a really good place to eat.
Food was over priced. The guy that greeted us was sort of a jerk and got worse later on. Food tasted like it was pre-made and just heated up. Not sure what everyone else that gave it 5 stars was eating but those of us at our table were not impressed at all. Wait Staff service and physical location was just about the only positive thing I could say about this place. This guy needs Robert or Ramsey from the food network to go straiten him out.
Food very expensive for what you got
The manager is mean to my daddy's girlfriend!!!!!!!
It's a great place to eat and was very clean.
Friendly staff, fair prices, and tasty food! Some of the best catfish I've ever had and all of the sides in the "setup" were delicious. The tomato relish was very refreshing, the slaw was creamy and fresh, the beans were well cooked, and the homemade hush puppies were the stuff of legends! If you find yourself around Caddo Valley, the Fish Net is a must!
Good food and good service!
Love it! Great food and our waitress Nia was wonderful
Great service ! Good food! Fair price!!
Fish Net is always great. Some of the best catfish around. Beans, slaw and hush-puppies are great.
The onions rings were too spicy hot other than that the food was good
Over-priced over cooked.
Had a great time. Went their with family some of whom I hadn't seen in a while and the evening proved to be one of my fondest familial experiences. The waitress was nice and took our picture . They were busy but that is better than a restaurant with no patrons. casual place and tomato relish and hush puppies are great. good place to stop if on I30 ; not too far off highway
Great food and service
My wife and I stopped and tried this place, as we've passed it many times. I'm happy we did. Great food and atmosphere. We'll be back!
A real southern style restaurant. The set-up was fantastic. Cole slaw, black eye peas and pickled okra. I think it was okra, whatever it was it was great. Great cat fish , fried or grilled.
Our server, Brett, was very pleasant and fun to talk to. The food was amazing and the customer service was awesome!!! We will be back!
Great food and excellent service. Never disappoints.
Excellent!
Love the small town feel
Great food.
The food was delicious and the staff was extremely sweet! We recommend the ribeye and the creole pasta. It was amazing!
Great food Great service
Fish was good. Service was great. It's a nice play to stop and grab a bite on your way to or from Hot Springs.
Really trouble food and services was extremely slow. Took almost two hours to get food.
A little expensive but really good food
The food was pretty good!! Most of the food is fried though. The staff was pretty friendly, but the waitresses were either slow or they spend more time with their locals than their tourists tables. I can tell too some of the waitress are pretty annoy to be working here and waiting tables.
We ate here because it was closer than driving into Hot Springs and I wish we would have made the drive. Service was great but the food was not what we are used too. The Cajun selections are not Cajun at all. It seriously tasted like Campbell's soup version of ettouffe. I would stick to the fried options and and avoid their signature dishes.
Great place to eat, very good service. Oliva was a fantastic server.
Best shrimp!
The catfish is the best you'll find anywhere.
We love this place. Always eat here while camping down at Degray lake several times every summer
The fried shrimp dinner is good!
Food was great on mother's day
LL
Good menu selections and excellent waitstaff ! We enjoyed gator, crab and fish and the brownie dessert.
Great food and atmosphere. Prices are good for portion size and as always the set up (pinto beans, coleslaw, hush puppies, and tomato relish) was wonderful.
Good food and exceptional service
Always a friendly welcome and has a wonderful staff that makes sure everything is in order.
Great food great service
This was the worst restaurant experience of my life!! The alligator tasted bad, so I should have quit eating it because I got a horrible case of food poisoning and spent most of my early morning and the rest of the day in the bathroom. It was awful and the food was not even good, and it was way over priced too!! If I could have given negative stars I would have.
Our favorite place to eat when we stay at DeGray. Just don't buy any of the "margaritas". I'm pretty sure they don't actually put Tequila in them.
Love it. Friendly staff and good food. Been going there since 2004.
Steaks are very good...
No a do over.
Great food and great service.
The coconut shrimp was good AF
They have the best snow crab I've ever had. My familly loved it.
Food is good but expensive
This place has always been a good place to eat in the past. My wife and I live a couple miles from there so we have eaten here several times. But last night (3/15/19) was beyond horrible. The wife went looking for a waitress after sitting at the table a while. The hostess finally got our drinks. She actually ended up waiting on us. For some reason no waitress came to our table. The food was terrible. I had the 5 piece fish and only ate 1. Took an hour to get the order and it wasn't hot. We had to pull over twice on the way home so I could throw up. Once I got that nasty food out of me I was fine. Not what I expected for a $45 meal for two. We will never be back, even living in the area we will drive on past.
Nice little diner by Lake Degray and Henderson State University.
Disorganized chaos. Go to cracker barrell
Best catfish around.
Honestly I'm underwhelmed... I expected a flavorful homecooked kind of feel but instead I got plain tasting food. I ordered the salmon which was small and overcooked with vegtables that tastes like they came out of the freezer section! I also got the fried pickles and fried tomatos you can't really mess these up but the batter was flavorless and grainy and the tomatoes were cut way to thick. The pluse side is the wait staff was sweet. P.s. Pay attention to the jar foods they sell. I was going to buy some candied jalapenos but they were all out of date. I did tell them but I never saw them pull them from the shelves!
Good food and service
Great service and food.
It was good.
My favorite place for seafood, slaw, beans and my favorite hush puppies!
Very good!
I'm not a fan..
Great place to eat
A hair came fried with the alligator bites batter. When I told the manager he unapologetically said that he didn't charge for it. Then he charged for the rest of our meal. We also ordered hamburgers which were just below standard. The manager look angry at the waitress name and I told him that the hair was not her fault. Anyways he looked again at her name, and said she should have told him. We gave her 15% tip. Bottom line this restaurant food and manager are just horrible and a disgrace for the food and hospitality industry. It was ridiculously arrogant when he implied that to compensate for his lack of sanitation guidelines we were not charged for the food with hair. I just told him that it be totally wrong.
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Would've give 5 stars but the fried catfish was just mediocre.
The new at the time creole pasta was good! Buddy had chicken Acadia and loved it. I recommend either or. We also went at 6:30 on a Tuesday.
Great cat fish. Service was great and true southern hospitality.
Majorly overpriced
The Fish Net Restaurant is our favorite fish restaurant . Ron O"Keefe has been selling top notch catfish meals for years in Caddo Valley. His serving people are always friendly and eager to please. The restaurant is always clean and updated often to keep it that way. You can't go wrong with the Fish Net.
Excellent, we are from Miami, Fl and usually the appearance of a restaurant reflects on the quality of the food there. This was not the case here at all. The appearance is very plain but the food is AMAZING. Never had gator tail before, so glad I started here. The catfish was perfect, my husbands steak was ordered medium and was cooked to perfection. The service was just as great. This place needs to be on the travel channel.
A bit short-handed on this visit, but the food was still great.
Catfish ok. But go down to the Whippet in Prattsville, AR. Worth the drive to dine on great catfish & wonderful sides.
Great food and great service!!!
Yummy
Food was great, service a bit slow, but friendly. We weren't in any rush so it helped. Dessert looked delicious - ice cream was icy and brownie way too big and dense.
We visit every time we come to Arkansas. Crab cakes are delicious and shrimp was great! We do love their fried green tomatoes too!
Fantastic food!!! I don't like catfish, but tried it because the company we were with said it was the bomb & they weren't wrong! I tried the fried shrimp & omg, it was delicious! The "set-up" was mmm-mmm good with the best hush puppies I've ever tasted & the green tomato relish was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant!! Great service, attentive management, clean establishment.
My family has tried to eat here four different times but was disappointed each time. I have eaten in many restaurants all over America but this is the worse. The service is awful and the food even worse. The hushpuppies are bland along with their tarter sauce. The fish really isn't good either. Then bowl of beans was the best thing on the menu. Save your money cause the food is a big disappointment. Over priced, poor service, and terrible food. We have much better places in the area to eat.
The food is ok and the service is ok. Everything seems to be fried or otherwise unhealthy. The food does not have much flavor.
Fast service, amazing food! Best shrimp I've had with a nice smokey flavor.
Great food and service. When you are in the area stop and eat there. You will be glad you did!
This is truly a treat. Love the pintos, hush puppies, and pickled tomatoes. Great fish!
