Fish Nest has an a wonderful lunch buffet with a great fresh salad bar along with catfish and other delicious hot items. The service is friendly and the restaurant is very well maintained and apportioned. An overall excellent dining experience in Glenwood.

It was 5 mins till lunch was supposed to be out so we was going to wait for the fresh foods but no we ate cold old food. The waitress was rude!! Didnt even get a tip from us when we went to tell the manager what was going on the waitress came up behind me and screamed in my ear "theres always a salad bar" I was respectful but the manager told us not to come back. Yall just lost 2 of your regular customers. Yall used to be awesome needs new management

What can I say. Their buffet is always good. Tuesdays are seniors night. We drive from Hot Springs to Glenwood for the food and atmosphere. The owners and staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. They're attentive to their customers, you look forward to going back. It's also a great place to take the family.

I would rate a zero!! Over priced terrible food and the waitress is the rudest person I have ever met!! Just got through talking to a woman at the store who had the same waitress and she hasn't gotten a tip from either of us!! The CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!! She's lucky all she got was the bird!! It is my mother's death anniversary and I wanted 2 go there instead of the hostess firing her on the spot she told me 2 never come back!! That's not a problem I promise I will tell everyone about my experience and y'all use 2 be so good.. SMH

This restaurant has been a staple in Glenwood for almost 40 years, often changing names and hands, but always serving a fried fish buffet. The prices are sky high, but the food is delicious. You get what you pay for and I have never known Anyone to leave here hungry.

We arrived just before the buffet closed, but the hostess assured us they would keep it open for as long as we wanted to eat. They fried fresh fish for us, and the server checked several times to see if we needed any more cooked. Before they put away the food, they made sure we had all we wanted. The food was good, as was the service.

It has been a long time, since the "home cooking" buffet's of the 90's, since I've eaten at one as good as this one. There wasn't a single thing i didn't enjoy, and to top it off, the staff was extremely nice. Would be a place I'd recommend and frequent if I lived close. My dad would love this place.

I ate here after a long day of kayaking on Lake Ouachita. The salad bar was fresh just as well as the fish. The shrimp were very reasonably priced. A pound of boiled shrimp was $12.99, the same price as a pound of boiled shrimp in Lake Charles, Louisiana! The cocktail sauce had a different flavor, but was still good. Also, the service was fast and the staff were very courteous. There was plenty of seating as well.

I have waited every single Steakhouse in the state of Arkansas probably and the fish nest in Glenwood Arkansas has the best steak you will ever get anywhere including on a cruise ship or anywhere I am ate a steak at.

Unless the food is inedible-when you have an establishment that is elbow to elbow to people and you are seated immediately with your drink glasses being refilled as if you are the only customer in the place-then I give a little extra credit. I give this place 4-stars but I'd like to give it 3.7 or so. A buffet of mostly fried foods is not exciting but it is a chance to pig out on stuff that is probably low on the good nutrition scale. The buffet is not extensive, there might be 2 dozen items in their buffet line and a handful of items for salads. Places in Arkansas do not place a high value on spicy condiments, they just don't, so if you like a good salsa with your fried foods you will not find it here. I'm neutral on the quality of the food. It was edible and filling, it was not exorbitantly priced. It has been nearly 2 years since I ate here. I remember catfish, chicken strips, chicken fried steak(?), fried shrimp, and the typical items in the salad bar. It will not be like a great seafood buffet but there is nothing really disappointing about this place either. Kudos to the staff, they also keep the buffet items fresh, at least when my dining party visited.

I love this Glenwood restaurant! The buffet is filled with excellently prepared and seasoned catfish, meats, and vegetables. The salad bar is always stocked with fresh wholesome greens, raw veggies, etc, and salad dressings. There's even a selection of desserts if you need something sweet after your meal. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

Still the best catfish and veg-salad bar in Arkansas!!! ---------------------------- A Big shout out to the sweet 16 yr old young lady ASHLEY working there on Friday Dec 1st at noon. I had taken my husband, brother and 92 year old dad out to eat there. She was so sweet and nice and a joy to be around. I wish I'd had a dozen daughters just like her! You make your family proud. I've eaten here at least 20 times as I was traveling through or just cause I want good catfish. I'm never disappointed when I eat here. The cook-owner always comes out into the dining area and checks on the guest. The bar is always clean and fully stocked. I have fully enjoyed every meal I've had here. The price is excellent. Also, every time I've been there, all the staff was very kind to ALL people, no one ever out of line. Thank you and keep on cooking.

I've always enjoyed this place whenever I'm around the Glenwood area. Great all-you-can-eat buffet for $13.99. Can't remember exactly but children eat for less than $7. All the food you would expect from a fish place plus some, salad bar, and a variety of fruit cobblers. If you don't eat fish there are other things on the buffet such as chicken, green beans, cornbread, and other country cooking. Variety is the name of the game.

The food is great, and the employees are even better. It is like eating dinner at Grandma's house on Sunday. You just can't beat the service ! Even though all of the waitresses are good, Lisa and Terri are above and beyond. And Jonathan, the young man that cooks the steaks, has been working there since he was 15, and I think he is 27 now. Texas Roadhouse doesn't have anything on this boy. We live 2 hours away, and we eat there every chance we get, which is at least once a month. Last but not least, tell Joe I sent ya!
