Saying this place was packed would be an understatement. We visited for the election party of Steve Womack, staff and kitchen were running full force and doing the best they could. We could not find a menu or a place for my kids to sit so we had to leave but to their credit the patrons looked satisfied with the meals and the presentations of what we saw were good

Called a day in advance to make reservations for a large party. "We don't accept reservations," they replied. But before the end of the call, they realized it might be smart to be aware of it after all. However when i called to confirm about an hour before our arrival, no one there knew anything about it and i had to go through the same runaround about no reservations and then them changing their mind. However, upon arrival, nothing was prepared. Instead, our group clogged the entrance awkwardly while they hastily did what i made two phone calls to prepare them for earlier. Then a new waitress (read new to fish city AND new to waitressing) was assigned to our group alone, as well as having other tables. As one might imagine, it was largely a disaster - food wasn't all served together, as they never bothered to prepare ahead of time there was no silverware or condiments on the tables until after the food was served, drink refills were slow, et cetera. They couldn't have dropped the ball more thoroughly. Maybe the place is great if it's not busy and ur a small party, but it's obvious they don't want groups here.

Eating at Fish City was a great experience. We brought 2 kids and it was great for both kids and adults. We were seated immediately upon arrival and the waiter was fantastic! We got Arkansas Fred as our waiter and as new patrons, he was fabulous! Ask to sit in his section! He made sure we got exactly what we were looking for. The food was delicious! We ordered a cup of gumbo and a cup of jalapeno soup, oysters, fish and chips, and the fish tacos. All wonderful choices! We will definitely be back!!

What a great place! It was very busy when we showed up at 6pm on a Friday and we were told it would be a 25 minute wait, but we only waited about 15 minutes. Our waitress, Misty, was really nice and helpful, the food came hot and quickly, and it was really delicious. Chargrilled oysters are amazing! My husband finally found an etouffe he likes, and he's picky. The drinks were great too. We'll be back for sure.

Pretty good! Generally, fish places in middle America get a bad wrap. And while Fish City Grill isn't the quality of fish and seafood one might expect in a coastal city, it's certainly passable. Those who, like many in this part of the country, prefer their seafood deep fried, you'll find more than enough options to satisfy: breaded oysters, breaded catfish, breaded shrimp, shrimp on pasta, etc. To those who prefer grilled seafood, there are an equal number of options - I got the trout. The trout was good, but the seasoning wasn't fresh: it tasted like dried herb and a spice mix, not bad, but a fresh herb would really lift this dish. The trout would have also benefited from charring the skin- it tasted baked although it did give the appearance of touching a grill. Overall though, it was pretty good and I ate all of it. All of the sides were cooked in the southern style, and I enjoyed all of them. And of course, by southern style I mean soaked in butter, and who wouldnt love that. Green beans and potatoes were special highlights. If you love seafood, perhaps a trip to the coast would be the best course of action, but as that it totally impractical most of the time, Fish City Grill is an excellent second option.

My wife and I have been coming to Fish City Grill since it was located in the Promenade... always had good service and awesome food. I like the laid back atmosphere and simple menu — and I don't mean that in a bad way. The menu options just let the quality of seafood come through. Beer/drink list is pretty good as well. Staff is always attentive and friendly as well.

The food is good but the menu has gaps in it. You can only get the snow crab on the big plate. I ordered the scallops and bacon wrapped shrimp. This plate is $20 and it only came with two shrimp and two scallops on top of mash taters ? Not a very if portion if you ask me. Work on the menu and the portions Fish City Grill.

For the price it was a waste, no seasoning on the green beans plus my plate was cold!! My husband's fish was hot but not much seasoning on it either it was also the only thing hot on his plate. It was our 1st time, we had been wanting to try it for a while.

Normally a good place to eat. Had to find the manager in order to get a server to get our order. She did a good job but it was obvious that she was flustered when given an extra table. They also forgot my beer for a few minutes until a second manager stopped by to check on us. Will go back because this was just one bad experience amid many good ones. Everyone has an off day.

The food was ok. What really ruined our experience was our waitress. She was new so alot I could get over. However she ordered us a sampler bc it was free and I told her no thank you that we didn't want one bc we wouldn't eat it . She said she will just bring it anyway since it's free and she already rang it in. So for our meal I got to smell food I didn't want to smell or look at. Them she made comments about how we didnt try it. Seemed upset . Which we were upset bc we didnt want it. We said no and it was still shoved on us. Then neither of us ever got refills. It just all in all wasn't a good experience. We wont be back. The only positive was the greeting staff at door and the niceness of the location.

The food was excellent and well prepared. The fish always has a fresh flavor. Presentation was nice as well. The waiter was newer so did not know how to answer some questions, but he discovered who had the answers. It's a good place to meet clients, friends, take a date and gather with family.

Was out with friends to celebrate birthday. Casey the bartender was rude and terrible attitude. He was busy but acted like it was a pain to get three drinks and one water. Never got the water. Got to our table the waitress was great, she asked if I wanted a second drink but told the bartender the wrong thing. I took drink back and then Casey's attitude came out. After 15 min my drink still was not redone. I went to Casey and once again he meet me with a attitude. Not sure I will be back. Drink tasted terrible.

Most of the food was really good and filling. There was 2 issues i had but i still tipped the waitress 20%. First, i ordered a draft beer as soon as the waitress came over it was a slow night so i figured i would get my beer in a timely fashion. So my wife's chowder came out no drink then when she was finished with that her crabcake came out, still no beer so right before the meals came out my beer finally made it to my table it was about room temperature since it was probably sitting at the bar for over 15mins, I was gonna order a couple drinks tonight but after waiting for the first beer i figured i would just have the one. And the second issue was the waffle fries with the fish and chips were way over salted.

Came in and had gumbo and chowder with a order to take home. After we did not order drinks felt as if our waitress forgot about us. Had to go ask for order to go, took forever to get take home and have our Bill processed. Had ordered "Special" shrimp and pasta for take home. Did not understand why a pasta dish cost so much but thought we would give it a try. Looked at the dish and thought it was because the shrimp were large. When we got home and opened the cover realized they were not large but small shrimp with tails on. Fish City should be ashamed to charge $17 for a pasta dish with small shrimp and the customer has to remove the tails. It had more capers than shrimp. Should have been advertised as pasta and capers, not pasta and shrimp. Sorry Fish City but I am being honest.

My husband who is brown lol but is half white, his grandmother (white) and I came to Fish City Grill for dinner after our Veterans meeting. We didn't expect to get rude service but I guess that's what we ordered, yet she happened to be very nice to my husband's grandmother and gave us dirty glares like we didn't belong with her. She made sure his grandmother was served drinks and my husband had to get up to get his drinks.... Sad!! So we read on the wall how they donate once a month to 2 different or so groups doing charitable contributions. She tried speaking with the manager but he seem to not care about what she had to say and told my husband to drop off a brochure and if they pick our group they will call... Well much more happened but enough with that we are going to make sure our friends and family DON'T go to eat there!

Came here during a gap between appointments. They gave me the welcome wagon wheel (wheel of soup samples) along with an oyster nacho to try. Holy Gatham Batman this stuff is good. For lunch I had a cup of bisque and a crab cake from their appetizer menu. Coupled with a fine margarita. The young man at the bar too was informative and friendly. Everyone should visit here! Get the oyster nachos! Well anything is good here, just come eat.

Great place for sea food. The oyster nachos appetizer is awesome. Some of the specials can be small portions though. We have had a lot of good dinners here and a couple mediocre ones. This is not a cheap place to eat but I think the prices are fair for most of the options.

Tonight my husband and I ate here while visiting Arkansas. I don’t remember our waitress’s name, but she was phenomenal. She was super friendly and went over and above what most servers do. My husband loves spicy food; I do not. I ordered the crab and shrimp platter and asked them to leave off any spicy flavoring. The crab came out super spicy (turns out the spice is in the cooking water), but our waitress and the manager (I assume that’s who he was) fixed it immediately by offering to cook it in new, non-spiced water. It was delicious! My husband said the bread pudding was also delicious. Nice, relaxing atmosphere as well.

Had my first visit to the current location a couple of weeks ago. The food was awesome as it always has been. The outside patio/deck area is an obvious positive over the original location. That being said, they really need some type of sun shades for the late afternoon early evening. The deck faces West. Also would love to see "Lost Forty", "Love Honey" as an option for beverage.

Delicious. Both soups and entrees. Definitely will come back to try oysters from various locations. Some are a bit pricey, but every location produces different flavors and textures. We especially liked the Cod Oscar and the grown up mac&cheese with shrimp and bacon. Wife said the bread pudding was to die for. Food can be cooked in a variety of styles. Happy hour specials. A taste explosion in my mouth! My 11 year old son and I recently ate there and both loved it. He got a combo platter...grilled catfish, fried shrimp, hush puppies, and fries. I got the fish tacos, which have such a good flavor and an appealing texture. The sauce they serve with it is very good, too. The have seasonal specials that looked equally as appetizing.

First of all, big shout out to waitress Ashley!!! I normally don't put people on blast but she is absolutely amazing! She was attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Since this was our first time here, she made us feel welcomed and explained the menu and offered us free appetizers. The food is a little pricey but was well worth it. We had the swordfish, the yellow finned tuna and for dessert fried cheesecake!! Portions were a lil bit small but filling! Definitely will be back!

My favorite thing on the menu is the shrimp tacos. They are a bit on the spicy side but ask for additional ranch and it helps to curve the spiciness. They also have daily menu specials depending on the seafood or fish that is in season, so be sure to ask the server what the daily specials are. Be sure to sign up on their website for promo emails, they periodically have some great offers to go along with your meals.

LOVE Fish City Grill. It has a ton of variety, from sandwiches to seafood enchiladas to fresh fish of the day. There's something for everyone, it's reasonably priced, and usually fast. One of my favorite restaurants in Rogers.

First time there , and it was amazing. When we told our waiter that It was our first time there, he serve as some samples. It was great to try things before you ordered. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos and they were divine. My husband ate the Fish and Chips with a side order of shrimp. He had plenty of food, and it was great. The chips were actually waffle fries, which I really don't favor, but they were not as dry as they usually are. Great place and enjoyed the service. Especially the free samples. I highly recommend trying it, If you are a seafood lover. Only thing is that I would like them to have more salmon or lobster on their menu.

Oh. My. God. I've lived in NWA for 3 years and I've never been here before. What a fantastic restaurant! We sat on the patio, ordered drinks (so good), calamari (love the sauce!), and the horseradish salmon and a pick 2 with catfish and shrimp. We mentioned to our server that it was our first time here and she was so sweet. She made good recommendations and checked on us frequently to make sure everything was to our liking. She was extremely knowledgeable and so friendly. (I wish I could remember her name! Tall blonde with beautiful tattoos!) This is absolutely my new favorite date night restaurant. I crave seafood frequently and have been so disappointed by most restaurants in the area. Fish City Grill has raised the bar so high that no one else can even attempt to keep up. Way to go, guys. Amazing job.

It was okay nothing super great although I didn't see the huge menu on the wall until after I ordered somehow same with the other two people with me. The menu on the wall looked much more appealing

Very busy night and I was alone. The girls found me a solo table and I had no wait :-). Food was great and service fast,efficient and friendly. Wish we had one of these in Tulsa.
