Great seafood restaurant. We had Sea Bass and Halibut, both were outstanding. Service was terrific. I would highly recommend this restaurant because all fish is fresh daily. Got there at 5 pm which was good because by 6:30 the place was packed. Dinner far exceeded our expectations. If you love fresh fish, then this restaurant is a "KEEPER". We will definitely come again.

Awful, awful, awful. Waited 20!!! minutes for drinks that never even arrived. Unreal. 10 minutes into being seat, server finally shows up and says “give me time and I’ll bring these out” while breathing heavily. There were 6 other customers in the restaurant, not busy. TWENTY minutes for a glass of water when it’s 110 outside is UNACCEPTABLE. We ended having to leave and will never come back.

been here quite a few times, great food every single time. oysters taste good, crab is great, i do however wish theyd bring back the garlic butter escargot. It was my favorite thing and the best ive had out of anywhere ive gone. Also my waiter was super nice and very handsome. He took great care of everyone i saw him serving. overall, awesome restaraunt. Overall I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The Steamers were excellent, and very delicious. I ordered the pasta primavera as my entree. The fish was overcooked and practically mush but that was a minor detail in comparison to all of the shellfish. The clams, muscles, and shrimp were all excellent, AZ were all the sauces. Everything tasted very fresh and was prepared to order. I think perhaps the chef was just having an off day in regards to the fish. Service however was impeccable. My server answered my questions with confidence and was well informed. He was also very personable and was quick to refill our empty glasses. Clearing dishes away in a manner where we felt like the meal transitioned comfortably and smoothly without feeling rushed.

Yikes!!! When you pay $36 for a medium rare sirloin and king crab legs they should be good. Sirloin was well done, seriously. King crab legs were rubbery, seriously. Gave us chicken shears to cut through the rubber and it made a wonderful squishy sound. Even the baked potato was burned. Haha. Hey sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. I'm sure the fish is worth a shot. Happy hunting friends!

The food was horrible I ordered the Southwest salmon salmon itself was good but the toppings disgusting I also ordered the seafood pasta and the dressing that they put on it was like thick greasy flavorless yuck. My sis ordered the shrimp scampi and she said it didn't taste right but it was bad tasting possibly freezer burner. as we were getting our meal we asked if we were to get our soup and the salad completely forgotten so we cancelled the salad no need to pay for it if we're not going to eat it. sorry won't be going back there and won't recommend it

Best seafood I've ever had in Arizona! I had the crab Alfredo and it was awesome. The noodles were tender, the crab melted in my mouth, the bread and butter was great also. The food also reheats excellent which is rare in seafood. It was made with a lot of butter but it was still great. Definitely recommend!

I am usually a very big fan of this place, both the people and the food. Pablo, the owner, is one of the more welcoming and friendly people you will find! I eat here pretty regularly, and have for almost 10 years. However, this post is regarding and entirely different kind of experience. I called to place an order, as I have for years and years, but was greeted by "trisha". Upon some confusion about an item I wanted to order, I asked to speak to a manager or owner to try and get clarification. No big deal right? That's when she became extremely rude and condescending. Informing me "I am the manger so..." And speaking to me in a demeaner that, as someone in hospitality/restaurant management "for 7 years" should know, you neverrrr speak to a customer. I felt extremely disrespected to the point of not feeling comfortable even ordering food from her. Again, I DO want to reiterate that I have had nothing but great experiences with this establishment, until my first (and definitely last) time running into & having to deal with someone like "Trisha", who is clearly in the wrong line of business. I'm not sure that I will be returning as a customer again.

Terrible was seated at a table for 2 near the bar had a man at the bar drop a beer and it got all over my legs, had people trying to squeeze between me and the bar,people were reaching over the table as we were eating worst experience I have ever had won't return anytime soon

Had the fried perch special. Absolutely awful. Breading was thick and we were lucky to find the fish inside. Several bones plus no flavor. Clam chowder had a good flavor BUT the clam pieces were so rubbery they were hard to chew! Table next to us had oysters they said were not good. Won’t see us there again.

I didnt get a name but the employee answering the phones is unbelievably rude and totally unprofessional. Its giving this great place a bad look not to mention deffering customers.I had to call twice just to place an order and BOTH times got hung up on when he decided the conversation was over. I had to call back because he refused to take my order which was just a simple one thing and told me to call back cuz he's busy. I totally understand that,it was around dinner time, but there is such a better way to go about it. He didn't even give me a chance to take my order, or put me on hold.it was just a bad expirience, especially being that I've gone there for years and know the quality of their food and typically service as well.

Left hungry, cannot believe steamed fish had no seasoning or garnish except miniscule slice of lemon, the little bit of seasonal vegetables on plate was ridiculous considering the cost of inexpensive produce. It came w a few small pieces of bread, and we are gluten free. You think they could have spared some rice? There was some horrible sause on the side, tasted like mayo and ketchup. The server was rude and the place was almost empty. We were so hungry we went somewhere else to get more food. Hope this was an isolated incident, but the small amount of vegetables was just ridiculous. You can't really ruin steamed fish and veggies but this was a terrible meal from the service to leaving hungry.

This place is awesome. We have eaten here twice and both times the food was excellent. This IS fresh seafood, prepared fresh, when ordered. This place makes Red Lobster look like Long John Silvers. Both times we dined early afternoon, and it was quiet. If you are going to eat out during busier times, don't complain about the food or service. It doesn't matter where you eat, the quality goes down a bit. There are just some people who would complain if their ice cream was cold.

Our waiter was great but the food was disgusting! The clam chowder tasted like it was from a can. I got the broiled scallops which had no flavoring at all. Was not even broiled with bread crumbs on it. Our waiter offered to have them fry it with the penko bread crumbs. When it came out it tasted worse. NEVER going there again!!

Excellent food! Great service. The crab stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Edit, went back after 3 months, made reservations for 6. They seated us in the bar area where the bartender was our server on a packed Friday night. It took almost an hour to get our order taken, no bread until after our soup/salads arrived and it was burnt black. My entrée arrived, crab cakes, they were very disappointing lukewarm and mushy, no large lumps of crab meat. Still gave 3 stars, our clams casino was excellent along with all other entrées. The service was extremely slow, but I believe they should have had a real server for our area, not the bartender, he was slammed with a packed restaurant. Even though the coupons on the website were expired, they still accepted, so that was nice.

Management did nothing to help us get a table. Feel sorry for the wait staff that had that table. Hope they left a BIG tip.! Think twice about returning

Horrible Food! I got a salad which barely had any lettuce in it and the lettuce was rotten. I mean black and slimy rotten!! How can kitchen staff not notice that????? How can the server not see that either? It was obvious before I even touched it that the lettuce was bad. The other food at our table did not look appealing to me. It all looks like old school, unhealthy, low end ingredients.

My Family and I visited the Seafood Market. And had a ok experience we ordered the fish tacos and camarone tacos the fish 2as breaded but flavor wise bland so replaced then with the Calamari that was more flavorful than the tacos also we had the clam chowder it was nice wish for more clams and the Market burger it was also good. The Environment and atmosphere was wonderful and the restroom nice and clean.and the staff was friendly overall not bad .

I used to LOVE this restaurant. Best crab cakes I've ever had. I went back today after a 5 year hiatus, during off time (around 2), to get food to go. It's changed. The people are very nice, the decor friendly. I ordered my crab cakes, which comes with steamed veggies and a side (red potatoes), plus a caesar side salad. The salad was half brown/wilted lettuce. For $3.99. That's pretty basic. I didn't eat it. The veggies and potatoes taste like a casino cafeteria... all steamed water, NO flavor. Not even salt/pepper. This confused me. Again, basic stuff. My beloved crab cakes are not the same. Years ago, they were not breaded (my favorite part) and had large chunks of crab. These aren't bad at all, but mushy breading (maybe because I got to go) and bland sauce. They are still tasty, and the reason for any stars. The crab tastes real, and is shredded vs the prevuous "chunk" style. Hoping you find your way back to what you were, Seafood Market. As it is, the food isn't at all worth the price, especially with brown lettuce and no seasoning.

If you're tired of big chains like Red Lobster then this is the way to go! It's a super friendly local buisness with some amazing food! The crab cakes are so decadent and the salmon and lobster is always cooked to perfection! We've also purchased fish from their market and it is usual pretty reasonable in price. If you do go and get an entree, Sub the salad for the clam chowder it is absolutely worth it!

Casual atmosphere. Wanted to dine slowly, explaining "I'd like to order after I finish my glass of wine" but our waiter rushed us. He kept coming back asking if we were ready and I'd again repeat "after I finish my glass of wine. We're in no rush". We had even ordered an appetizer. They weren't busy, we may have been his only table. He then said he'd take our order but wait to put it in. Reluctantly, we ordered. Within 20 mins, we of course had our dinners sat in front of us. The food was good though. I had the swordfish, my husband had the broiled scallops.

Best clam chowder. Their weekday lunch specials are great value. Family owned and operated this is not a chain. They also sell fresh fish and shellfish, and we go there and buy fresh fish when we make home made cioppino, paella or boulebaisse, because their fish is fresher than the local grocery chains.

Low key casual seafood restaurant. The crab stuffed mushrooms are some of the best I’ve eaten. We had twin lobster tails ($44) and snow crab ($29). The lobster was perfectly cooked. The veggies weren’t overly steamed. Comes with variety of sides including soup (chowder is good) and salad. The only ding we had was the butter: the dipping butter tasted more like popcorn canola oil and the bread butter comes in a diner style packaged pat. The rest was great. Service was very good.

The seafood was excellent, although the sides could be way better (frozen fries, really?) Our waiter made it obvious he hated his job, when we asked for a certain beer he responded with "f*** no." Then said he "couldn't help" us when asked for other simple things. Hey waiter here's your tip: hate your job? Quit and find a new one. Go for the food, not the service. And even then, bring a snack because we both left still starving.

I was excited to try this place with how cozy the location is and being a seafood lover and all. It wasn't a bad experience, the server was nice but I wasn't impressed with the food or the presentation at all. This restaurant has a lot of potential but needs to modernize their presentations and menus. Bland vegetables with absolutely no seasoning at all, rice pilaf is not even real rice pilaf. Rice pilaf is a technique not a recipe and when executed properly does not end up with soggy clumps of rice with little to no flavor. That tells me they are either not using the pilaf technique or they are using rice cooked days before serving. The old school plating is not very appealing and correct me if I'm wrong but a lobster dinner most certainly should be served with a ceramic ramekin of clarified butter, not a little plastic disposable ramekin. That's like serving a filet minion on a plastic plate in a steak house. Pre-made frozen baguettes as dinner bread when they could come up with a much more original and flavorful option. These seem minor but it reflects the lack of passion the owners have in creating an experience difficult to recreate for a family at home, and render a potentially great restraunt, average. Invest in the right presentations, force your staff to put a little more effort into making things from scratch and the word of something special happening in Dana Plaza will travel increasing your sales. I hope they take this to heart and not as an attack because I'd love to see them succeed so that I can come in more often for a nice dinner.

I have eaten here dozens of times over a couple of years and have never been disappointed. The quality and freshness of their seafood in the middle of the desert is amazing. I have introduced the lunch stir fry to several friends who now love it as much as I do. The service is prompt and friendly, and we have yet to see them make any mistakes. And don't forget to take something home for the grill. They will also give you great preparation advice!

I'm not sure how this place received such great reviews. We ate here and the dishes we ordered were very plain. When we asked about a fish dish we were told it was seasoned with Lawry's (as in seasoning salt)...thats it. That was one of their signature dishes. Overall if you're not really concerned about great taste this place would be a great choice. We found it to be nice, clean, and friendly and the fish seemed to be good quality but the flavour of the dishes left a lot to be desired.

Yes it was good, yes there was a lot of food, but it was almost 50 bucks. My husband got a steak and lobster, he said the steak was not so good and the lobster was just okay. For 35 dollars he expected greatness. Overall their cocktails are good and their food is good. But be prepared to spend a bunch when you go here. I will go back but maybe not order such pricey dishes if that is possible.

The service is good, and the fish is cooked very well. The swordfish and the scallops are my favorites. The scallops are sweet and tender - perfect. We have been there several times, and now consider it our "go to" spot for celebrations and great food.
