What a gem! The food is AMAZING! Really cute restaurant with a "marina" decor, and they also have a patio in front. Extremely nice owners/service. As I was eating, I saw a woman come back in (after eating) just to let the owners know how great the food was. This place became a must-stop every time I'm passing through.

If you aren’t hitting this place, you’re missing the best fast food in Payson. Like me, a few years ago, when, frustrated by the glacial line progress at a nearby big burger chain, sank low enough to walk out and eat from a local grocery store deli. The less I say about that dark day, the better. Now there’s Mike’s! Cool staff, fresh, hot food that’s fast and cheap enough to call fast food, but with sit-down restaurant quality.

Stopped by myself and found the fish and shrimp order #2 to hit the spot. The fish pieces are big and the shrimp is great as well. Sauce is ok but the quality of the food is very good. Not super greasy but greasy enough. Battered well and good service, great alternative to the burger joints they seem to have everywhere

This place has the best fish and chips ever and fantastic clam chowder. It's family owned and operated, friendly staff, clean, and appropriate décor. In full disclosure, I will probably be doubling up on workouts for at least a week to make up for the deliciousness, but it's totally worth it.

A gem in a Payson strip mall. Great service and fresh food. Fish and shrimp and clams not breaded until you order and the ability to ordered grilled. Make sure you check out the grumpy Oscar inside the door to the left. My kids loved it!

Great fish & chips. Crispy coating on the fresh tasting fish, extra crispy French fries and the cole slaw is creamy and delicious. If you travel through Payson regularly, make sure this is one of your stops. You'll find yourself going back there over and over again like we do.

Omg amazing!! Everything is cooked fresh, you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The friend zucchini is perfect, fish tacos amazing, and coleslaw which I normally wouldn’t care for is spectacular. I will definitely stop here again when I go up to Payson again!

A sorry excuse for Fish & Chips you may get across the ocean in the UK, over fried,dry, dripping oil not wearth the expenss. Additionally on weekends, the place is run by teanagers who has no business serving food to the public

My husband and I were in Payson last Saturday and stopped for Fish and Chips lunch at Mike's and it was the best fish and chips we ever had!!! Friendly people, good service and NO it is not "pricey". You want quality, you need to spend an extra dollar! We recommend this place and we ourselves will be back.

I've had deep fried oysters from many other restaurants. These are by far the best ones I've ever had. Phenomenal breading and the oysters seemed much bigger than from other places. Excellent cocktail sauce as well. A++ Edit: coming back to change this. The oysters were much smaller the 2nd time around. Dropping to 4 stars

The Pros: The fish and chips were excellent. The Cons: The fried oysters were under cooked and the cocktail sauce needs a hearty dose of horseradish. The Meh: I did not experience this fantastic staff everybody raves about. Not rude, but not exactly enthused to see us either.

SO GOOD!!! My fiance and I stopped here after our camping trip to Mogollon, and their shrimp is absolutely to die for. They also let us have our pups on the patio. This place is hidden gold. It's nestled in a little strip of stores. Once we found it, though... WOW. The tartar sauce was amazing, the hush puppies were divine and the fish was tasty. My husband couldn't say enough about the chips, they rock! Super friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

Let me just say nothing has lived up to my expectations since Pier 39 but Mikes is right there for me. Amazing! I will definitely be returning.

Visiting for an event and a local friend met us here. Decent sized dining, couple of fish tanks to keep the kiddo busy. Quick and friendly service. Did forget part of our order, but corrected it quickly. I ordered the 2pc fish and crab cake, got the cole slaw side option and drink. Fish was good, very tasty, but small for the price. Hubs ordered quite a bit of food. Half order of onion rings was a big order, definitely worth it. Flavor was great with everything I tried.

The 1st time we had fish-and-chips there it was amazing . I have lived in Europe And have eaten at some of the best shops and street vendors for fish-and-chips. Sadly the 2nd time we ate there which was just a little over a week ago the young lady cooking did not do so well. The fish had been overcooked and I can only assume since it was close to closing that the quality was impacted due to our poor timing. I look forward to returning in the near future in the Hope's of reproducing the first meal.

Love this place. The menu is simple and the food is tasty. We ordered the huge portioned #6, which came with 5 pcs of fish, 12 pcs of fried shrimp, 2 fish tacos, 2 orders of fries and 2 med drinks for $37. Even the tartar and cocktail sauce were really good. Also ordered 2 a la cart crab cakes that were good. Everything is deep fried in batter but you do have the option to get the fish in the tacos not fried. Will definitely come back everytime i am in Payson.

We stumbled on this place when travelling through Payson last year and visited again yesterday after hiking. So glad we did. The food is great!!! My husband and I both had the fish and shrimp. The batter is just right. Not too much and fried to golden perfection. The fries had the perfect crunch. The oil they fry in must be very clean. We topped it off with a nice cold beer. You can tell that the owners of this place really care about the quality of food and service. Both times we have been in here the experience has been fantastic. Stop in and give them a try.

Driven by 100s of times, keep saying, I want to try that place. Today we finally had time. Ordered the 3 piece fish and chips, my wife got the fish sandwich and onion rings. Wow! It was all yummy! My fish plate had 4 pieces yea, the fresh sauce was great. The fresh cut and breaded onion rings were awesome. We had malt vinegar also for that traditional taste. Wonderful place, we will be back!

We we heading back from woods canyon lake and needed to eat. We decided to stop her so that we could enjoy a meal with our dog in tow. The dock outside worked great to enjoy the weather and have our dog with us. We came on Tuesday so the special was shrimp and fish tacos. Exactly what was needed after a long hike at the lake. Add s basket of fries and some large drinks and we were set up for success Food came quick and was delicious. I love fish and shrimp tacos, so it doesn't take much to make me happy. The sauce on the food was good. All and all this is a great lil Joe in the wall place to dine!
