Lam's market is a great place to go get lots of things, it's fun to get groceries, weird foods, and more. My favorite thing to get is the rambutans, and they sell them at their peak freshness, as they do with nearly or all of their fresh products (I cannot confirm all). I would reccomend it here any day.

The food is exotic and it is really good, but the prices are really inflated here on everything & the workers kind of stare at you all the time and never say anything and it doesn't smell too good, other than that its good cool place. I personally only buy frozen Dumplings here and Rice Noodles. Another big issue, you cant read anything to even know what it is.

You really can find many cultural items and the produce can be quite inexpensive and of a nice quality. There is a deli inside and the food has been delicious and authentic.

This is a nice Asian market with a variety of items from all over the world. It is relatively well stocked and organized the building is a bit dated and so is the equipment such as the shopping carts but overall a pretty clean and comfortable place to shop. They have a wide variety of meats and seafood. The meets include a lot of cuts you don't normally get and organ meat like hearts livers and kidneys.

It's your typical Asian market. No frills. The prices here are surprisingly decent However, because it's in a neighborhood that you probably don't want to be around at night, I would only come here during the day.

I don't live in this area so I never shop here. I did go in for only a water. I did notice the produce looked fresh and colorful especially the papaya. They sell live fish such as catfish and tilapia.

Be sure to check the expiration when making a purchase. Some if there products are expired. Other than that they have variety of Asian products.

Lam's carries a wide variety of different types of food and grocery items. Customer service was excellent. I stopped one of the daytime stocker that was stocking the shelves to inquire about wontons and rice paper egg rolls. He stop stocking the shelves to show me where the items were located. It was my first time going into the store and I plan on returning very soon.

I wouldn’t give any stars if I could. The fruit was all rotten. Then the cand corn beef was missing the key to open it and when I cut it open, the meat was bad. The okra was bad. I won’t be surprised if people get sick! That’s money in the trash!!! We will NEVER go back!

This place has a good variety of Asian food ingredients as well as other cultural foods. Sometimes the vegetables and fish aren't so fresh which is why I gave it 3 stars. It wasn't always like that though. Maybe it was just that particular day that I visited. I would shop here again, but only if I really had to.

I heard in a cooking show in the tv that one of best places to find fresh fish will be an Asian market, and I got curious to go into this one that I always pass by, and I LOVE IT, they have a big variety of fishes, fruits vegetables that you will not find in a regular grocery store, and they not only have Asian products, but also Hispanic products and more, that will make it more like an international grocery store, all this with really good prices...

Forget Frys and Rancho Market. This supermarket not only has Asian foods but Puerto Rican, Mexican, Jamiacan, Costa Rican and others. Great prices, fresh products and friendly helpful staff.

Lam"s carries any Asian spice or ingredient you need. I stop in a lot of Asian grocery stores but have never seen the variety of spices, noodles and other ingredients in any other store. The produce is fresh and well stocked. Many produce items that are hard to find you can get there. Seafood is also fresh. The building is very old but the store is clean. It does smell like fish. I've always had good customers service. I don't think the prices are bad. In fact I think they are better then most specialty stores. I've shopped at Lam's for years.

This place is amazing and well worth waiting in line however long you have to. Wait as long as you have to. It's that good. I'm super picky when it comes to oysters and this place did not disappoint. Also, their take on clam chowder is the best I've ever had. I wish I had two stomachs for this place! I live in San Diego and wouldn't hesitate to make a trip to SF solely to eat at this place. Seriously... wait in line as long as you have to.
