It was not only good happy hour for us it was good for your bartenders your waitress I really think you should bring back that happy hour even if you increase the price by a dollar holy smoke two bucks to three bucks for a beer is still a great deal .

Atmosphere: sport fishing/ fishing decor. Wait: None. Never seen the restaurant even at 50% capacity Reservation?: No Price: Good Food: Fresh warm bread with white sugar coating. The alligator appetizer with the aioli that comes with is incredible. Had the brisket mac & cheese which has a thick yet creamy cheese with brisket that has a little bit of a spice/kick to it. The catfish was perfectly cooked and flavored. It did nite have the grimy or dirt taste that most catfish has.

The food is so so. It's not bad, especially for a restaurant inside a store if you're already there and get hungry. Most of the menu is fried food. The shrimp tacos were ok, but cheap tortillas. It wasn't busy at all on a Sunday afternoon. So we didn't have to wait. Has a nice log cabin feel to it.

Tristina and Team are the best!!! We held a wonderful anniversary party this last weekend hosting over 50 people and everyone who attended raved about the Service, Food and Atmosphere. We love this restaurant! We visited today to celebrate Father’s Day! Our waiter, DANIEL was super accommodating and made sure that we were perfectly satisfied with everything. He answered all our questions and made some great suggestions. The food was delicious! I especially liked the panko breaded Catfish and the fried alligator. I would say that the decor is rustic/nautical. There is a lot to look at including a large aquarium with beautiful fish. We will be back for sure and when we do, we will ask for Daniel!

Jacquelyn was my server. She was very attentive. I had the Bucks fish and chips and it was delicious. They make their own tartar sauce which was creamy and tasty. Lisa is the waitress you need to ask for if you have children. She is super. Her tip was well deserved. She maintained eye contact with my child. Engaged her and respected her when placing her order. She was very patient with her, gave her high 5's. She spoke to her about the various fish and gave her a chart to follow. Her service was excellent. The food too was tasty. We ate dishes that had shrimp. However if your palate favors meats they have it inclusive of boar and alligator...

First time eating here. The gator bites were amazing. Our fish didn't measure up. And unfortunately, even my fries were kind of disappointing. For the price, I expected a larger portion, at least of fries if not the fish. I assume gator meat is expensive so the small portion there wasn't a problem. I was disappointed overall and expected better fish from a seafood restaurant. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Decor was nice. Unfortunately, I was not facing the fish tank, but what I saw of it looked pretty cool. But nevermind that, the gator bites were seriously amazing, so I'll be back for that! But just that. Get the gator bites and dip them in that sauce!

Worse fish tacos ever. I gave it a 2nd try from last year but they are still as bad. Cold crunchy cabbage slaw mixed with a blend of mojito or something green with fish and a white sauce at the top. When I asked for more of the white sauce it was just simply sour cream. When you mix all of them together in one bite it's just not a good flavor in your mouth.

If you are on death row and are looking for a way to prolong your mortal experience, come to Islamorada! Whether they're busy or have more waitresses than patrons, you'll get the same experience-- hours of waiting only for your food to come out cold, or not at all! I hope you don't think I'm salty about the entire experience, it must be the sodium levels that my body is still trying to digest from all the locally out-sourced food. My husband and I have been coming to Bass Pro and Islamorada since we started dating 5 years ago. We always loved the food and had a great experience. Now, within the last year, each visit has gotten worse and worse, reaching rock bottom with our trip today when we went for lunch with our two young sons. Not only was the place completely infested with fruit flies (covering my salad as I struggled to eat it and ultimately gave up), but the extremely decreased portion size, suddenly greasy food, and ever shrinking menu was a huge disappointment. We also waited 20 min despite the restaurant not being full, had to another wait 10 min for a hostess to show up to seat us after we got the call that our seats were ready, and had to wait after being seated another 15min to even get a drink order. Server was nice and did take the fly covered salad off the bill for us, but it still was a disgusting and awful experience. We had to literally swat bugs off our food and children the entire time. The bathrooms also were disgusting despite seeing servers go in and out using them. It seems no one at this restaurant cares about the food or atmosphere any longer. We will never go back. Our money would be better spent at a gas station getting prepackedfood than here. What a shame to see one of our favorite restaurants has done a complete 180.

Went there for dinner and asked for orange slices and was given two from the hand of our waiter. Who use the register after. Would not use them. My friend went to the bar to get fresh orange, no hands touching orange slices and the bar tender gave her more using her hand also and said she was going to throw them out anyway. We ordered a appetizer that was 11 bucks and didn't receive it till food was served. It was very small. We asked for meat well done, it had pink. Asked for it to cook longer got a new dish. Something else was on the plate. Asked our waiter what it was he used his hand to remove it from my plate to look at it. The manager did get me orange slices from the kitchen on a plate. Who knows how they grabbed them. Sorry should have went somewhere else for dinner.

I really enjoyed the food here. I have eaten he a few different times and everything has always been delicious. They've got lots of options on the menu and the staffs is just as friendly in the restaurant as they are in the rest of the store. They also have an all you can eat shrimp for $10 offer every day and it's a really solid option if you're hungry!

First this is just a review of the Islamorada Fish Company and not Bass Pro Shop in Mesa. It had been nearly 10 years since my wife and I visited this restaurant because we weren't impressed with it. On a whim I suggested we try it again Friday 3-22-19. Once again, not impressed. It's doubtful we will return. Service was ok, however, here is what we feel lacks - the Menu. It is more of a burger menu with a few seafood options thrown in. The way its advertised, you would think it is primarily seafood. However, Red Lobster and Long John Silvers has them beat in this area. Not that we are recommending either of those. If your just looking for a place to get some appetizers and burgers, I would guess this will work. However, there are better locations for that nearby. It's a place to eat if your going to BPS, that's about it.

We had a party of five adults and decided to have lunch here. The restaurant wasn't very busy so we expected a quick lunch. It was very clean and comfortable. Our server was friendly but slow. We started out with the complimentary bread and an order of fried cheese curds. The bread was delicious with sugar baked on top. The cheese curds were so over-fried that the cheese was actually hardened. My husband ordered a burger medium well and it came out pink with blood. I ordered the brisket Mac and cheese. Definitely not enough cheese and the brisket was chopped up so fine that the dish was not appetizing to look at. It tasted about how it looked. The server was slow getting refills of our drinks. I don't know if she was that busy since the restaurant didn't have many customers. Bottom line is that we won't be eating at this restaurant again.

This is a super neat looking restaurant, but to be absolutely truthful the food and service is just meh. We've visited 6 or 7 times over the last 10 years, and it's been consistently just that. I guess being attached to a big retail pull like Bass, you don't have to try too hard to stay open? They could be so much more in my opinion, with some effort.

Like walking into a super-sized Key West museum with many varieties of fish, fauna and plant life exhibited along the vast walls. When it comes to the food though, having spent a lot of time in the Keys, made the food served slightly depressing. Service adequate, environment intriguing, food good but not great. Sandwich was very good, but alligator chewy and catfish lacking in taste. Bahama Mama just OK, Pain Smasher delicious with adequate rum.

Crab cakes and other food sucked. If you go here, be safe, get fish n chips. Service was slow. Calamari is ok. I'm pretty sure it's the frozen kind. The muscles weren't cleaned properly. While the server was super nice, we waited about 20 minutes for her to come to take a drink order. And after that we hardly saw her. But she was pleasant. I was so disappointed. Go to LA Crab shack instead! Better food. Better service.

Inside Bass Pro Shop. This restaurant was not at all good. Maybe they were understaffed, but they made us wait for nearly 20 mins to be sat, in an 80% EMPTY restaurant. My party of 6 waited almost 45mins to get our food, on a Saturday evening (5pm) after getting photos with Santa. Waitress was OK, food was bad. Two kids barely ate, 3 adults complained (amongst the table) about their fish and chips, and I sent my salmon back... TWICE. They comp'ed my meal, but overall it was a bad experience and we won't be back.

The food and service here is always excellent. Last night we were here for an intimate dinner for my birthday, and one of our party was late arriving so we were seated only 15 minutes before close. They were gracious and attentive and we felt very welcome even though we were seated so late. We ordered the mussels and fried pickles for appetizers. The mussels were delicious and VERY tender. The fried pickles were surprisingly good. I'd order both again. I also had clam chowder which was rich and thick. Some of the best I've had. For my meal I had one of the burgers. It was thick and prepared just as I requested. They use Angus beef so the flavor was exceptional. They use a brioche bun, which was perfect for a big juicy burger. Others at the table ordered the fried catfish (they liked) and the stuffed mushrooms (they did not care for them.) Desserts were key lime pie which was presented in a deep bowl and bread pudding a la mode. I had the bread pudding which was dense, moist and wonderful. There was no key lime pie remaining so I assume it was yummy. I'd definitely eat here again.

Good service, our waiter was very professional and friendly... we ordered the alligator and for the price, we felt there wasn't enough served but that could be because it is a special kind of meat. Other than that the rest of the food was well priced for the amount we received. There was 4 of us, we are all hearty eaters and we all got filled. Would recommend.

I came here for the first time about 6 months ago and it was great but unfortunately yesterday when we came back it was completely the opposite. My boyfriend and I got the calamari and it was good. I ordered the alligator tacos with no sour cream and he got the alligator entre. They came when we were only half way done with the appetizer, which is fine. The tacos were supposed to have sweet chili sauce on them and they didn't so it was really dry, didn't really care for it. They alligator bites were also really chewy, in the tacos and on the entre. The white sauce that came with the entre also tasted like flavored water. We also had to ask for "complementary" bread. Lastly, it was very evident that the waitress was having a bad day, we all have bad days, I get it. But, she'd quickly drop the plates and dart away with what seemed an attitude. It would be different if she came to us and said sorry, I'm having a bad day and I don't mean to express that towards y'all. I'm very upset that my boyfriend spent a lot of money on food that we only ate maybe half of. We won't be back...

Restaurant was empty and it took over five minutes to be acknowledged to be seated. Server was nice. When she brought our daughters salad, she said she would bring the other sets. When our appetizer came, with no silverware, we flagged down a server (not ours) for silverware, she proceeded to make us seem impatient because they were “low” on silverware. There were five tables in the entire restaurant at this point. Our food comes two minutes after our appetizer. Only one of our entrees are hot. I rarely complain as I was in the service industry for over 10 years. We won’t come back here.

Honestly I've never had a bad meal at a very fair price. The food is served fresh and hot with a warm friendly smile. I had the all you can eat shrimp for $10.99 and my wife had the mussels in garlic sauce. I would reccomend this place to any and encourage you to go see for yourself. Also the fish tanks and decor is absolutley amazing.

Went there for dinner and asked for orange slices and was given two from the hand of our waiter. Who use the register after. Would not use them. My friend went to the bar to get fresh orange, no hands touching orange slices and the bar tender gave her more using her hand also and said she was going to throw them out anyway. We ordered a appetizer that was 11 bucks and didn't receive it till food was served. It was very small. We asked for meat well done, it had pink. Asked for it to cook longer got a new dish. Something else was on the plate. Asked our waiter what it was he used his hand to remove it from my plate to look at it. The manager did get me orange slices from the kitchen on a plate. Who knows how they grabbed them. Sorry should have went somewhere else for dinner.

I really enjoyed the food here. I have eaten he a few different times and everything has always been delicious. They've got lots of options on the menu and the staffs is just as friendly in the restaurant as they are in the rest of the store. They also have an all you can eat shrimp for $10 offer every day and it's a really solid option if you're hungry!

We were seated at a broken table. Hostess moved us but never informed the other staff we had been moved. Waited 10+ mins without being acknowledged. Hostess sat broken table again and they were served right away. We left. Poor communication skills on part of staff. Menu is much smaller and more expensive. I feel like the excitement that used to come from eating at this restaurant is now gone. Very drab atmosphere. We are very disappointed. No review on food because we didn't get any. Response from management not required.

First this is just a review of the Islamorada Fish Company and not Bass Pro Shop in Mesa. It had been nearly 10 years since my wife and I visited this restaurant because we weren't impressed with it. On a whim I suggested we try it again Friday 3-22-19. Once again, not impressed. It's doubtful we will return. Service was ok, however, here is what we feel lacks - the Menu. It is more of a burger menu with a few seafood options thrown in. The way its advertised, you would think it is primarily seafood. However, Red Lobster and Long John Silvers has them beat in this area. Not that we are recommending either of those. If your just looking for a place to get some appetizers and burgers, I would guess this will work. However, there are better locations for that nearby. It's a place to eat if your going to BPS, that's about it.

We had a party of five adults and decided to have lunch here. The restaurant wasn't very busy so we expected a quick lunch. It was very clean and comfortable. Our server was friendly but slow. We started out with the complimentary bread and an order of fried cheese curds. The bread was delicious with sugar baked on top. The cheese curds were so over-fried that the cheese was actually hardened. My husband ordered a burger medium well and it came out pink with blood. I ordered the brisket Mac and cheese. Definitely not enough cheese and the brisket was chopped up so fine that the dish was not appetizing to look at. It tasted about how it looked. The server was slow getting refills of our drinks. I don't know if she was that busy since the restaurant didn't have many customers. Bottom line is that we won't be eating at this restaurant again.

This is tucked in the corner of Pier 39. The chocolate store and carasoul was beautiful lights! Meet a few new people at dinner. I was shocked the Islamorada Fish Company was open late. Took a minute for the server to find us but once he did, better service.

I guess being attached to a big retail pull like Bass, you don't have to try too hard to stay open? They could be so much more in my opinion, with some effort.

All fish dishes are terrible. The alligator appetizer is really good but I get better car fish at has stations. It's slightly pricey and the catfish is absolutely terrible, damn near inedible. Everything is frozen, the fries are frozen, the fish, all of it. Maybe a burger would be good but they advertise themselves as sea food and all the sea food is awful. I think my buddy has flounder or something and it was also absolutely terrible for a restaurant that advertised as seafood.

All you can eat fish fry on Friday nights. The food was good as was the atmosphere. The service was friendly and helpful when they came around which was our only problem. Being that we got the fish fry, we needed to wait a while for our server to come around to get a second plate. Other than that the visit was great..

A walk down memory lane. We lived in the Florida Keys and the Islamorada Fish Company was one of my favorite places. Great local seafood in paradise. Back then your food was served in a basket, no fancy tables only delicious food. The restaurant has changed, but the food is still great. The environment is very warm and inviting. The staff is friendly. There when you need something, but not interfering with the meal.

Like walking into a super-sized Key West museum with many varieties of fish, fauna and plant life exhibited along the vast walls. When it comes to the food though, having spent a lot of time in the Keys, made the food served slightly depressing. Service adequate, environment intriguing, food good but not great. Sandwich was very good, but alligator chewy and catfish lacking in taste. Bahama Mama just OK, Pain Smasher delicious with adequate rum.

Inside Bass Pro Shop. This restaurant was not at all good. Maybe they were understaffed, but they made us wait for nearly 20 mins to be sat, in an 80% EMPTY restaurant. My party of 6 waited almost 45mins to get our food, on a Saturday evening (5pm) after getting photos with Santa. Waitress was OK, food was bad. Two kids barely ate, 3 adults complained (amongst the table) about their fish and chips, and I sent my salmon back... TWICE. They comp'ed my meal, but overall it was a bad experience and we won't be back.

Lots of fried fish with some Red Fish, Boar, and Alligator for novelty items. Great family favorite with huge fish tanks for kids and range for teenagers, and sporting and hunting for active, and clothing and home furnishings for fashioistas. Skip the burgers. This is our "go to" location to meet friends driving through town in Interstate 95 since it is a short distance from the on/off ramp without the Fredericksburg congestion.

The adult meals were great. The kids meal were terrible. Mac and cheese dry no taste no drink with it. Like it was pre make and microwaved dry dry dry. And the Corn dogs could you spare it, didnt even look like I would want to eat it. Large plate little food on it and no drink included with kids meal. Kids are overpriced. Not a family fun place to eat.

Wow! That was the best $50 meal I have had in a very long time. The alligator was better than I have had before, maybe because they tenderize theirs. The flat iron steak was the best cut of beef I have had anywhere and the broccoli that came with it was a burst of buttery perfection in my mouth. My partner thought I was out of my mind for wanting to eat at Bass Pro Shop, but it's the best hidden gem in Mesa.

Wanted to try the impossible burger. It was good for a veg burger. I prefer beyond meat at whole foods and now burger fi. Service all the way from not being seated to manager not acknowledging. Not very great. The fish tank was fun. I had plastic in my food and server says we don't use plastic back there. I don't know about this place. Hope it improves. I probably won't ever find out if they do.

We ordered the beef brisket nachos and the brisket was scarce! nachos we're good tho ...spoke with the manager about the out t of brisket and he said two onces...it didn't look like 2 onces and we told him...he paid for the nachos and apologize...he was genuinely concerned and insisted satisfy us.. we left feeling taken care of ....we will be back!

Bad chefs i was at the bass pro shop and there was litterally 3 people in that giant space of a restaurant. I ordered fish tacos the cabbage was not cleaned and had that sulfur like smell and the fiah was too thick and had no taste. The server was exceptional the chefs are run down poor eye for flavor and making presentable plates.

I go here for their fish n chips they are the bomb, i come from the North West where we would go to Seattle to Pikes market where the fish is fresh daily catch and Isla Morada is the place that comes the closest here and it makes me feel like iam back in Washington state. Selection was very limited portions small. A few of the items I wouldn't allow my dog to eat . Especially the Tilapia. I had the Flat Iron Steak. It was cooked properly and it was tender and juicy. I would not Recommend. There are other great Fish Restaurants around Phoenix.

Just went and did a lunch pickup! First time interacting with company and I have to say I was mighty impressed. The outer structure is unique and inviting. As I entered the interior was pleasant and colossal with high high ceiling and wood plank floors. My order was ready: and they even took time to greet me: "by name" as I entered and then again as I left. My food is IMPECCABLE! ! ! ! ! ....still eating as I write! I will definitely indulge again as a sit down customer. The fish aquarium walls....I will call them, are a sight to behold. Beautiful, Friendly, and so cozy. Portions were small, overpriced and underwhelming. For a seafood restaurant the selection of fish was limited and basic. They ran out of crab so they couldn't make crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms, or their signature smoked fish dip. I never mind being charged $22+ for my entree but expect a nice portion of fish that isn't overcooked and dried out. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place.

I love this place and it’s everything you can expect from a Bass Pro restaurant. I’ve been to their restaurants in Missouri and Texas and they are always amazing. This one has a gigantic aquarium and the food is great. My only complaint was with the fried fish, the batter was way too thick. Everything else was great and half of my family won’t eat seafood so don’t let that scare you away. There are plenty of options for everyone.

Wanted to try the impossible burger. It was good for a veg burger. I prefer beyond meat at whole foods and now burger fi. Service all the way from not being seated to manager not acknowledging. This restaurant was one of top go to for the past 10 years for quality of food, service and experience. Something has drastically changed about the whole experience in a very negative way. We waited for 30 minutes to get seated only to find most of the tables empty inside the restaurant. Kids’ drinks took 15 minutes to arrive. Bread tasted pretty dry and tasteless. Food took way too long time to arrive. Food definitely has reduced to more of an amusement park quality instead of what we were used for the past decade. The whole experience was the opposite of what had made us come back here again and again. Our waitress while seemingly nice was always in a rush. She totally forgot/ignored to offer us bread, plates, cutlery or any napkins. We finally got the bread (but no plates) after having to ask while our food was taking so long to arrive. Then had to ask for napkins again and never got any cutlery for the entire meal. Either she had way too many tables to wait or lacking experience or just didn’t care about our particular table for some reason... I guess we’ll never know. I like to give benefit of the doubt to the waitstaff since they work extremely hard. So, I’m going to go with this whole thing being a understaffing issue. All the service along with the bad good quality definitely ruined our experience nonetheless. Needless to say we won’t be back.

Bad chefs i was at the bass pro shop and there was litterally 3 people in that giant space of a restaurant. I ordered fish tacos the cabbage was not cleaned and had that sulfur like smell and the fiah was too thick and had no taste. The server was exceptional the chefs are run down poor eye for flavor and making presentable plates.

I go here for their fish n chips they are the bomb, i come from the North West where we would go to Seattle to Pikes market where the fish is fresh daily catch and Isla Morada is the place that comes the closest here and it makes me feel like iam back in Washington state. When people adk me about seafood this is the place i recomend to them.

We visited here for a birthday lunch for my mom, we had a group of 10 and were seated within 10 minutes without having a reservation. The kids loved the huge tropical aquarium, it is absolutely beautiful. Everyone enjoyed their dishes without many complaints to be had, the only issue I had was that the fish and chips platter was a tad greasy but hey it is a fried fish platter so what is there to complain about.

Went to have a nice dinner with my family. And boy was I disappointed. We got there at around 7:30 and had to keep asking for a hostess because we had been standing there for a while. When she came she said it would be 30 to 45 minute of a wait. Ok that's fine if your busy. They had 2 tables in the restaurant and thats it. I mean there were several dirty tables but are you kidding me. It felt like pure laziness that nobody wanted to wait on us. They never even tried to get our business. Being an assistant restaurant manager of several restaurants I can't even say how piss poor this experience was. TRUST me we won't be back!!!

Just went and did a lunch pickup! First time interacting with company and I have to say I was mighty impressed. The outer structure is unique and inviting. As I entered the interior was pleasant and colossal with high high ceiling and wood plank floors. My order was ready: and they even took time to greet me: "by name" as I entered and then again as I left. My food is IMPECCABLE! ! ! ! ! ....still eating as I write! I will definitely indulge again as a sit down customer. The fish aquarium walls....I will call them, are a sight to behold. Beautiful, Friendly, and so cozy. I just included this in my review of bass pro shop and I didn't realize that it was separate from bass pro shop and this meal was the highlight of my day at the Bass Pro shop and now I will have to edit my review of them.My server was absolutely amazing and excellent in the performance of her job and deserves a raise! I had 3 orders of the all you can eat fried shrimp and a large lemon water, & 2 cups of freshly brewed excellent coffee,all for under 15 dollars! I asked her if she had added her gratuity to my bill, and she said that they couldn't receive a gratuity! I hope that the servers are paid well,otherwise Shame on you! I didn't mention her name because I didn't ask her permission too! But I was thinking that this would be a good place for me to bring a date...if I could get one !

The reason for his outspokenness was due to the fact that most of our food was over salted. A couple of items to the point of being inedible. The reason I feel okay giving 4 stars, instead of 3, is because they offered to remake or replace our food.

We got here at 8:00 and we're greeting with the bartender telling us we needed to hurry and order before the kitchen closed. They are open until 9 so not sure why he felt the need to rush us the entire time. Food was good but we felt so rushed we could not even relax and enjoy it. Very Disappointing!!

The decor is rather lovely; and that's where any of the stars I posted come from. Half the "waitstaff" are combative while the other half are...slow to process? The food is old and over seasoned. There was old food all over the floors. Both toilets out of service. They were out of salmon, mahi mahi, and crab due to an ordering error. The bread comes with about a quarter pound of sugar on top. The seafood tasted old. The "manager" was not able to remove the terrible food items from the bill as "the system" wouldn't allow him, instead he offered a cash card with $20 on it that needs to be used in December (it was 12/22) to give them another chance. I thanked him for doing all that was in his power but assure him we would not be back. For sure do not recommend and would urge #bassproshops to reconsider their affiliation.

Dinner date, Saturday night with my significant other. The restaurant was not crowded. We were seated immediately upon arrival in a booth, it felt kind of tight. (Guess I should've asked to be moved to a table.) Its a beautifully decorated restaurant with much to see. A huge aquarium which is mesmerizing, filled with beautiful ocean creatures. Fishing tackle and memorabilia everywhere you look. The service was good, she made sure we had what we needed. Suggestion to manager: have wait staff allow time for the customers to eat their apps before delivering the main meal. (My entree sat and 'chilled' while I finished my cup of soup and stuffed mushrooms appetizer.) I really try not to say negative things about any restaurant or business. I try to provide a realistic idea of our experience. And, I have worked in fine dining, I understand how this field works. My bottom line: We actually did have a pleasant evening and I might have been expecting too much. But, considering the prices and how far we drove for this date night (over 40 miles), it's doubtful we will be back anytime soon. (3/5 Stars)

After a morning of taking the children to visit Santa and store wide shopping, our family of 5 stopped for lunch at Islamorada Fish Company. Big mistake! From the poor service to the beverages and food, it was a waste of our time and money. The drinks were poorly made and bore no resemblance to the descriptions on the menu. The food was mediocre at best. Two of us didn’t even eat our meals. The server was made aware of the problems with the food and did nothing to remedy it. When the bill arrived we were charged for everything. At the very least, one of the meals should have been removed from the bill. Instead as the server dropped off our bill, gave us a lame “sorry you didn’t like your food” attitude. I spoke with one of the managers on duty who begugedley took one of the meals off of the bill. It was clear the manager and server were not happy we had complained about our food. We will not be back and certainly will not recommend this establishment to any of our family and friends.

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. They made us wait 15 minutes for water. I waited 30 minutes for my beer order, which I ended up having to go to the bar and get myself. Great service. Seating for 3 adults and 5 children was perfect in a private room. Waitress was really nice. Food quality was not very good this time. I had expected fresh made foods. New England Clam chowder was good and hot. Fish & chips was doughy and cold, french fries cold too. Bison meatballs w/ spaghetti didn't have much seasoning. The children liked their meals and enjoyed the friendly waitress who made our 3 yr old grandson's birthday a hit with an ice cream sundae. The atmosphere is really nice and place was clean. Need to figure out what meals are the best here.

We took a party of 8 adults and 4 kids. It was HORRIBLE! How can they call themselves Fish Company when the fish and shrimp are frozen? It was worse than Mrs Paul's fish sticks. All the adults had something different, and none of them were tasty. The service was extremely slow. It took us over 20 minutes just to get our drinks. It also took 40 minutes from the time we got our checks until they cleared us out. After two hours there, the small children were miserable!! It ruined our great family night of seeing Santa.

It was honestly 1/4 inch thick. I wish I would have taken a photo before I sent it back. When we we paid the check the manager came over to our table to inform the waitress neglected to charge for the replacement meal. No apology for the inconvenience she had a very nonchalant attitude and probably shouldn't be customer facing. I asked her the new total, she didn't have it. I guess she expected me to pay a new amount without knowing what it was. So we had to wait for her to bring me an adjusted check. Again, no apology for the inconvenience or poor customer experience. Will not be coming back.

This particular location has been disappointing. We have eaten here a couple times thinking it would be better the next time. Sadly this was not the case. We had been to another location that was consistently great. Here the service was poor and the was food mediocre. The times we were there it was not busy so there is no excuse for the bad service.

We had muscles. Tasty, no grit, not fishy, garlic sauce quite yummy. Service was excellent, and our main course was very tasty. Just ordered sandwiches, and they were great. Grilled chicken was awesome.

Haven't been to the Ashland VA location in a few years, so I wasn't sure what to expect on this visit. The food was very good. The wait for the food seemed a little longer than I thought it should. We went at dinnertime on a Wednesday, and it was empty.

We got here at 8:00 and we're greeting with the bartender telling us we needed to hurry and order before the kitchen closed. They are open until 9 so not sure why he felt the need to rush us the entire time. Food was good but we felt so rushed we could not even relax and enjoy it. Very Disappointing!!

The decor is rather lovely; and that's where any of the stars I posted come from. Half the "waitstaff" are combative while the other half are...slow to process? The food is old and over seasoned. There was old food all over the floors. Both toilets out of service. They were out of salmon, mahi mahi, and crab due to an ordering error. The bread comes with about a quarter pound of sugar on top. The seafood tasted old. The "manager" was not able to remove the terrible food items from the bill as "the system" wouldn't allow him, instead he offered a cash card with $20 on it that needs to be used in December (it was 12/22) to give them another chance. I thanked him for doing all that was in his power but assure him we would not be back. For sure do not recommend and would urge #bassproshops to reconsider their affiliation.

Dinner date, Saturday night with my significant other. The restaurant was not crowded. We were seated immediately upon arrival in a booth, it felt kind of tight. (Guess I should've asked to be moved to a table.) Its a beautifully decorated restaurant with much to see. A huge aquarium which is mesmerizing, filled with beautiful ocean creatures. Fishing tackle and memorabilia everywhere you look. The service was good, she made sure we had what we needed. Suggestion to manager: have wait staff allow time for the customers to eat their apps before delivering the main meal. (My entree sat and 'chilled' while I finished my cup of soup and stuffed mushrooms appetizer.) I really try not to say negative things about any restaurant or business. I try to provide a realistic idea of our experience. And, I have worked in fine dining, I understand how this field works. My bottom line: We actually did have a pleasant evening and I might have been expecting too much. But, considering the prices and how far we drove for this date night (over 40 miles), it's doubtful we will be back anytime soon. (3/5 Stars)

The food is usually good here; however, we ordered the catfish dinner but received tilapia without a word mentioned. Instead of making a fuss, we decided to just eat our meal and try to enjoy it (mistakes happen). We did not enjoy it. The fish was not seasoned well or had very little and the fish was not cooked long enough for my liking.

I decided to edit this review after the companies reply. I was unfair. I have been specifically disappointed at the texture/ flavor of the crab legs and the fried fish on several occasions, however, the sword fish, every style burger, alligator bites and nearly everything else I've had from the menu has been excellent. Not to mention the wait staff have always been friendly and accommodating and replaced any dish that was not to our liking. Thus I'm changing my review to 4 stars.
