Great food. Had company in from Colorado and they enjoyed the fish, oysters and frog legs. My son and I had our favorite, the beer battered fish and malt vinegar on the chips. Excellent service.

I don't usually eat fish because of the price when it comes to Arizona being landlocked. I eyed this place for awhile as I drive in town. The exterior looks like a rundown shack with a sea captain abiding sorrowfully inside. Once you go in, though, all first impressions vanish and you find yourself in a soft blue-walled restaurant with many ornaments of neon beer signs, anchors, and paintings of fish and shore. They have a bar and regular sitting area. Service is great, food is awesome... I want to give it four stars for the price, but I'm kinda cheap. I'll leave it at 5 and let you decide. Apologies for the empty basket photo. I was hungry.

Service MUCH improved since our last visit. Unfortunately, the food balanced the overall impression. Last visit, the walleye and baked fish were awesome; this visit, the family special (10 fish and 10 shrimp) sucked! Thick, thick overcooked breading totally camouflaged wharever fish was inside, and overwhelmed the taste of the shrimp. This place can't seem to get it right.

So excited to have a fish and chips place in CV! First two dinners were excellent! One week ago I picked up a togo order of fish and chips and shrimp and chips. We'd had both dinners before and they were delicious! Got home, 3 pieces of fish were "two bites" tiny. The shrimp wasn't the large delicious shrimp I had a few days before but the little shrimp/tail on that you can buy at Costco. We'll be giving them some time to become consistent.

Fish is ok..service stinks. Bern there several times and every time the service is below average. The fish is ok ...but with so many better places in the area it's unlikely I will go there unless a client wishes to meet there.

My family and I went to Danny B's a couple of weeks back and absolutely raved about the Fish, and the Wasabi coleslaw. My brother and sister in law went there yesterday and got take out and was highly disappointed in the food! The portions were very small and the coleslaw was bland and tasted like store bought but worse! We have decided to give them one more chance to see what we get and if it's like the takeout we won't be back! ☹️

Had to check out this new place in town. Came in and it was not very crowded on a Sunday after church. We had the fish tacos, shrimp tacos, the calamari, the fish and chips and the shrimp and chips. All the food came out hot, well prepared and delicious. We definitely recommend this to anybody coming through Chino Valley.

The beer batter shrimp and white fish were really good. Some of the chips and most of the fries were limp. I would prefer them all crispy. Also, I would prefer home made tarter sauce instead of the packets. cocktail sauce was awesome. Pretty good for take-home.

Food was good but pretty high priced for what it is, we ordered a 2 piece basa and fries and a 3 piece w fries and 2 iced teas... $29 and change before tip.. cod dinners (both with 2 pieces and fries, 2 drinks would be close to 40. That's way too high priced IMO

We tried this a few nights ago and weren't impressed. Over priced, flavorless fish. The service was certainly lacking, took a long time to order and receive food. It's hard to find good seafood in this land locked area, especially when your from the PNW. Guess I'll eat more chicken!

The fish pieces were too small and the fries were very thin & burnt. The chicken sandwich wasnt a sandwich, and my daughter thought it was bad and got sick. I will not be going back as thw prices were too high for this area. I reccommend the golf course if you want awesome all you can eat fish and chips.

My family came to visit and we tried Danny B's for dinner. It was great!!!! They did an amazing job decorating the inside it's looks really cool, CLEAN, and feels really comfortable . We all had the fish and chips and it was awesome!! The portions were perfect size they were about 4 in long full strips of fish. The fish was tender and not too dry, it had a great flavor as well. The waitress tried to talk us into the homemade chips but we all got fries (which were ok). Luckily she brought us a basket of the homemade chips to try cause she said they were so good. They were really awesome!!! The prices are great for what you get! We will definitely be back to try some other things. Chino needs more nice places like this thanks for bringing it up a notch!

First time eating at Danny B's and it was fantastic. I'm not a fish lover but the beer battered fish & chips was delicious & has changed my opinion about fish. The frys were crisp, hot & seasoned just the way I like them. There are several seasoning & sauce options to make it your fish your own. As for the restaurant, it was very clean all the way to the tops of the ketchup, sauces & malt vinegar. They take pride in their business. I felt the prices were great & the quantity was more than I could eat. Thank you for a great meal Danny B's.

After first dining at Danny B's a few days after they opened and having a GREAT experience and outstanding food and service plus giving five stars and a great review it's really a bummer the experience the wife and I had tonight. We walked in around 6:30pm and seated ourselves. As we were sitting down my wife had to wait a few seconds while the gentleman at the next table was getting up. The waitress was standing right there and looked at us. After my wife was seated the waitress had walked away mind you another waitress also made eye contact with me a couple tables away. We sat for 8 minutes, yes I had looked at the time, and no-one came to bring us menus or ask for a drink order. My wife went and got menus for us and we sat a couple more minutes when a couple sat at the next table and immediately a waitress brought them menus and asked what they wanted to drink.....still no acknowledgement that we were there so I spoke up and said that "we have been waiting 10 minutes and we had to get our own menus and they just sat down and you are taking their drink order" the waitress responded I go where they tell me and after I get their drink order I can get yours. I said no that's okay we will leave. I stopped and told the woman at the counter and she stated oh no. I was very disappointed......it wasn't even busy. I may give it another try and see being it's a new restaurant but really inexcusable way to run a business. I just hope it was a fluke because I spoke so highly after or first visit.

I called in my order. When I arrived, my order was in the window ready to be picked up. The waitress went and took drink orders from a table, took them their drinks and menus, came back to grab food that was placed in the window AFTER mine, and took it to the respective table. Only after all that did I get my food. My husband's box with fries was nice and full. My box with chips only had a small handful of chips. I was exhausted from work and didn't feel like making the trek all the way back but instead shared my husband's fries. I normally sing the praises of Danny B's, but this time was a huge let down.

I spoke with an owner and management the first couple times i was in and would really appreciate a call since i was not really able to and the "resolution" seems very hostile

Walked in and waited 15 mins while being ignored! 2 servers and no menu and no greeting aside from right when we walked in the door! We watched a server run food, settle a tab and talk with the other server/bartender and completely ignore us. They never even said a thing when we got up and walked out. We had dinner there 2 weeks ago and had a completely different experience, so whoever was staff tonight- they are costing you business!

Went in with an open mind. New restaurant= growing pains. Our waitress was young and inexperienced, but tried hard. Kept our drinks full. Food was delicious. I had the ~homemade~ potato chips and my husband got the fries. Hubby ordered special Danny b rubbed and I got the beer battered fish. Both were good. I thought I would like the beer battered better, but ended up trading with the hubby as we each preferred the opposite. Actually almost told my husband that I didn't want to go here for dinner, as I knew they would still be working out some kinks. They have work to do, but great potential to stick around. I keep seeing reviews from from other sites saying Danny B's is expensive. I say go to McDonald's and get a filet of fish and leave the yummy fresh cooked stuff to the rest of us.

Atmosphere was calm and friendly. It would have 5 stars if the music was working. The food was SO GOOD! What stuck out the most to me was that even though everything is fried, it was not greasy! My fingers were not glistening and I barely used my napkin. I didnt have that overly full greasy feeling when I was done eating either. I got the 3 chicken planks and fish meal. I tasted both the beer-battered and planko batter and they were equally tasty great. The pub fries and french fries were also very good. Wasabi slaw was very tasty and not spicy like the name implies. Wait staff were friendly. I could have done without Fox News playing on both TVs. Put an old movie in or play sports or something more appealing to most people. We don't need politics when we're enjoying a tasty meal! Overall great place and I'll definitely be back. Now Chino has something different than Bonn Fire and Aroma Pizza - which are both great local places too. Well done Danny B's! 9/2/17 My 3rd visit. The fried okra is my new vice! Perfectly battered and light and crispy... OMG! Fried okra lovers will NOT be disappointed. I had the white fish again. So delicate and soft. Yum! Just raised my rating to 5 stars. You can't find this food anywhere near here.

Most of what I’ve tried has been made well and tasted great. I feel like there has been a bit of a struggle as it comes to communication with staff. They are kind, however, a bit abrasive if there’s an error with the order. I’m willing to look past that because they’ve only made mistakes a few times. Just something to be aware of.

Ordered 3 plates of shrimp, chips and fish to go. Everything was saturated in grease, didn’t get the sauce that went with the coconut shrimp, I asked or tarter sauce for the fish, and was given the last two packages, she said they had! A total waste of $51.00! Will never go back!

Stopped in at 4:30p on Monday and had the place to ourselves because they had to open late in the day due to a remodeling delay. Abbey is a delight to talk with, fish and chips yummy, choice of background music perfect for me. A definite regular choice from here on in! Love my new town!

Tried them for the first time today. Not busy at all but it was the day after Xmas too. Had both the planko and beer battered style shrimp and fish. I think I prefer the beer battered like my wife had but both were good. Good portion of fish and the shrimp are very large compared to anywhere that we have been other than Bubba Gump's. Good cole slaw too. The fries were about average. For a small place they had quite an extensive menu offering fish and chips to surf and turf or all you could eat snow crab.

Best fish & chips as well as shrimp and & fries! The fish & shrimp is light, moist, flakey, large, and fresh with a perfectly seasoned batter that is light and crispy. Done to perfection! Haven't had this good of fish or shrimp since I was in Hawaii last. Husband and I were in town from scottsdale and love trying new places! Ask for Chris, she is amazing! Everyone was so welcoming! Will be back for sure when in town next! Highly recommend!

Why does this place serve Basa fish!?! The worst most unhealthy fish in the world next to tilapia. Not to mention it comes from the most polluted waters. I don't think wasabi flavored Cole slaw has a place in a fish and chips restaurant. If I wanted sushi I would have gone to a sushi restaurant.

Nice try but unfortunately, until they make some changes, I will not be going back. IMO, over-priced & not very tasty. For fish & chips, you can choose between the cheaper catfish (which, I'm sorry, is not fish & chips) or Atlantic Cod (which IS fish & chips). We ordered the "beer-battered" cod, which was about $13.75. Plate came with 2 tiny infant-sized over-cooked pieces of what was obviously old cod (had pithy texture & a strong fishy taste which fresh cod does not). It was not beer battered as ordered, but rather breaded like fried chicken. The "chips" are not the traditional larger steak fires you'd expect, but over-cooked seasoned fries that tasted pre-frozen. Service was very slow for a Friday night & waitress seemed nice, but very confounded every time we asked for something. Also, after we ordered drinks, we were told that they weren't accepting plastic, so we had to either pay in cash, or give them all our card info on paper. Not! (lucky we had cash!) Again, nice try, but IMO needs a lot of work.
