There are two good pet shops i know of close to me, this one and the pet shop. I go to aquarium arts for aquatic plants. They have a large selection, and they get shipments regularly. I'm not too fond of their selection of freshwater fish however they have sales on tanks all the time and let you trade in fish to get store credit. They also have Madagascar Lace!

Everybody who works here is very helpful, but if you really need a good answer look for Chris he is a great source for aquarium info salt or fresh. Don't waste your time or money at the big pet stores go to a store that specializes in fish.

This store has been around for a very long time. I have been a customer for over 10 years and have seen this store go through many changes. Staff is friendly and depending on who is working you may get some some good info or not. I am a more seasoned hobbiest so I tend to have more advanced questions on livestock and equipment, some of their staff has not had the experience to help. They always have a good selections on healthy fish, mostly the basics. Coral can be hit or miss, I have not seen a good selection of sps here in a while but in the past I have gotten some nice frags and maricultured sps. I feel this store was at its prime 7-9 years ago but still is a go to fish store for me and gets a 4 out of 5.

Disgusting store. Smelled strongly of mold. I saw many sick fish in tanks far too small for them. Go to Kona Reef or Studio Blue instead, it's worth the drive for happy, healthy fish.

I am new to the world of aquariums and have visited various shops in the area. Aquarium Arts had much more patience with me and my questions than the other shops. The shop is clean and fun, the best experience I have had yet. I recieved lots of help and real information without the push to purchase this or that. I will be going back soon and recomend Aquarium Arts to anyone new to aquariums. Prices are competetive as well. I purchased a few plants that are not only surviving but one is actually blooming.

Good overall saltwater / freshwater fish store. They only specialize in fish related products. You will find a good selection of service products like pumps and chemicals. They also carry some very nice tanks. Great selection of saltwater fish, equally good coral selections. Prices are on point with everyone else. I recommend this place for all levels of the art.

I've had a lot of solid help from the staff here. Most places will push as many fish on you as they can, not here. I have had a lot of help in creating a thriving reef tank. They have guided me on my fish choices and how to properly maintain the milieu. I really recommend them.

Our family is new to aquariums. We just got our first small tank set up and needed some fish. We found Aquarium Arts on Google maps and decided to check them out since it was close was close to home and had good reviews. So glad we did! The staff here were extremely friendly, knowledgable, enthusiastic, and honest. We ended up coming home with 6 little fish to get us started and more knowledge than we walked in with. I appreciate the honest advice we got Can't wait to grow our fish and hopefully expand our aquarium size down the road. As far as selection, I don't know what to expect. The fresh water selection was enough to choose from without being overwhelming. And they had a lot of gorgeous tropical fish that made it fun to look around. I also noticed live plants and rocks, coral, and a wall of food, accessories and supplies.

Best stop for marine life in town. I have been going here for years. The staff is very helpful. I was having trouble picking the largest of 3 hawkfish from 2 separate tanks, when a staff member quickly caught all 3 fish so that I could spot the one I wanted. Some very knowledgeable employees here, and I have been in the hobby 20 years. Great selection and good prices is what keeps me coming back visit after visit. Most of the fish in my pics were obtained from Aquarium Arts.

Good customer base for a loyal shop! Been going here for 11 years, I've night everything from salt water, fish, plants and freshwater needs. Staff has been around for years and he has a specialty, they own tanks themselves and are more then helpful. Living in Gilbert I have visited a competitor pet shop off power rd do to the closeness of location only to come back to aquarium arts again and again. Quick is example is extreme markups at competitor like blue and gold rams are DOUBLE what aquarium arts sells them for right now, so I'll support this small business over and over as I feel they keep the markup reasonable. Thank you for the help over the years and give Chris a raise!!!!:)

Very disappointed, I stopped by to take a look at the livestock that they have, ended up buying 2 clownfish and 2 flasher wrasse, I had talked to a guy there, I don’t remember his name, he looks like the guy off of YouTube coralfish12g, I told him about a dead fish earlier when I looked threw there fish system, in the wrasse cubes, and he had just left it there after looking at it, I was there for around an hour an a half and still nothing, I also had talked about the clownfish that they have and noted they looked sick with ich but he informed me that the white spots on them where from getting stung by the anemones in the tank and to not worry, anyways I brought the fish home, fw dipped them and added them into my tank, 2 days later now I see white spots on my fish in my display tank, I lost my Lubbocks wrasse, my favorite one I had, now I am setting up a qt tank with copper having to fix this problem, I even called the store back to see there dead fish policy and of course now I’m out 2 fish, no guarantee on livestock, even online fish that has a 14 guarantee can go threw shipping hell, but no Guarantee from aquarium arts, got ich in my tank and they won’t even replace the fish, I would not advise going here not worth spending 130 for 2clownfish 2flaserwrasse5turbosnails just to have my main display get Ich thanks guys

This is an excellent pet store for those who are interested in both fresh and marine fish. Their plant selection is much better than most places in Arizona, on top of that the plants that they carry are a very high quality which I find the most important aspect. Although their selection of fish is not the best, again they score points for having top quality fish that are well taken care of. Much of their equipment is modern and allows for even the high-end Aquarius to get something beautiful for their tank. Their marine selection is much better than freshwater but both are great. It is hard to distinguish who is a staff member at times however each staff member is very knowledgeable especially Chris.

I love, love, LOVE Aquarium Arts! These guys are trustworthy and very knowledgeable. In the past, I had bought many of my fish and supplies here. They stand by their fish and have given me so much help. A little over a year ago, I had to shut down my aquarium because of my husband's expat assignment. Now that I am back, I will be starting up a new one and visiting these guys every chance I get until it is all set. I've sent friends there who have set up their aquariums and for supplies. They also had nothing but good things to say.

Rude ppl that work here my second time coming here they never greet you coming in and act as if someone is bothering them when you ask questions, I came in today to buy a light for my fish tank and soon as I opened the door I was greeted by a grey pit bull I asked if the dog belonged to someone no one answered they just called the dog over to them I saw the light I wanted which was locked up I said excuse me,excuse me could someone assist me with getting the light the guy continued to talk to his friend/customer about the weekend I just walked out and left the door open, I believe they are racist it’s just my opinion DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE THEY LACK CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Second person to help was some 12 year old kid who was no help what so ever. Basically told him we had money to spend and asked what we needed to start our tank, "it's whatever you want to do". Called aquarium arts and they took them with no hesitation.
