These people are very friendly and professional to say the least! Had an assortment of fish to be cleaned, vacuum sealed, packed and frozen for my flight home in West Virginia. No worries here! All was ready to go as promised in the early morning before my flight and still frozen when I arrived home many hours later. It's very hard to find a place like this out there anywhere !....

Jerry's used to have a meat Shoppe down where Centennial Hall was built. That's how long I've been buying meat from Jerry's. I believe they have some of the best smoked meat and seafood available in Juneau. As they used to say, "you can't beat Jerry's meat".

I'm risking being drawn and quartered with this statement: I don't think their smoked salmon spread (which I regularly eat) is the best--I prefer my homemade. Also, I think they meet FDA requirements for cooking temp when they smoke their salmon, which I think dries it out, I'd rather eat under cooked fish and risk a tapeworm. Otherwise Jerry's has great quality seafood from local fisherman and excellent customer service, including ordering seafood for shipment to the lower 48. In addition to seafood, they have fantastic fresh, smoked and cured meats. Personally I have Jerry's process my filets of fish, because Jerry's price per pound for commercial vacuum sealing and flash freezing is cheaper than I could ever do as a sportsman, I calculated it out in a spreadsheet. I recommend trying Jerry's smoked black cod (aka sable fish).

We had no clue what we were doing. The staff there was very friendly and told us exactly what we had to do to get out Salmon back to Chicago. They processed the fish and packed it in coolers and packed the coolers in boxes to take on the plane as luggage. The prices were very reasonable and I can't say enough about how they helped out our clueless family. Highly recommended when in Juneau, AK

When they were by the airport, they would let me store my cooler of sport caught fish in their freezer overnight before my flight. Got my loyalty as a customer since then. Lots of choices if you are just looking to buy fish to ship home too. Order online if you can't get to the little store they have out in the valley. These guys are super professional. We walked in and it was straight to business. They're busy during the summer but they had time to freeze our fish with a 24 hour turn over time. They also have fish available for you to purchase in the store and you can order fish even if you live away from alaska. See photos for their menu. They box it all nicely in a foam box and can do all the cutting and can filet it up for you if needed. Easy for travel or shipping.
