Wow, absolutely the best fried oysters, shrimp, & homemade banana pudding I have ever eaten. Order both the oysters & shrimp lightly fried...order the shrimp "large" rather than popcorn shrimp. The atmosphere is interesting, It is "very" "very" casual, with limited tables, & you go the register to place your order. The food is served on real plates & silverware & the staff clear the tables. The staff is very friendly & are there to ensure good food & quick service. Great po-boys. Very reasonable. Only wish there were more choices for "sides" such as a baked not fried potatoes. The oysters & shrimp are addictive. My new favorite to dine in or take out.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday for the first time there and it was awesome. Reasonably priced for seafood and very good. I had the shrimp market plate with the potato salad which is off-the-hook! It was the best potato salad in Fairhope. The shrimp were delicious and a good size. My fiancé had the chicken taco with buffalo sauce and fries. His fries were great, well seasoned but the taco wasn’t exactly so great. It was kinda dry and we feel had the breading been warmed up some with more sauce and a little less lettuce it would have been a hit. Other than that it was good. Customer service was very good. Our waitress Shyenne was super polite and very quick. Will be back!

Found this while looking for restaurants to try in Fair Hope. Easy to find but don't let the few parking spaces on the front fool you. There's parking behind the building and access thru the back. My daughter and I were visiting from out of town and I thought this would be as good of place as any to get seafood. We weren't disappointed!!! Walk inside, place your order at the counter, give your name and have a seat. You'll help yourself to soft drinks but there's a bar there as well... Friendly server brought out our order. I would recommend the Seafood Platter if you're hungry!!!

On Saturday night I ordered a half shrimp poboy with the cup of gumbo. I have had this many times before and it was outstanding. This time, three small pieces of wilted lettuce was the only garnish on the oversized stale bread. There was an adequate amount of shrimp to eat but not as a sandwich.

My son had grilled shrimp I had a small seafood platter. Plenty of food. All the food was delicious. The green salad was fresh and crispy with cheese and bacon. My onion rings were lightly hand breaded. All the breading was light and not overcooked at all. Delicious and quick.

We moved to Fairhope in July of 2018. We recently stopped by Market by the Bay because we kept saying we wanted to try eating there and finally came in and sat down in the bar area. We were greeted by Horace with a big smile. Ordered the shrimp dinner with hush puppies and a salad and my husband had the Po’boy and gumbo combo. It was by far the best seafood we have eaten in Fairhope. Great vibe and energy here. The staff is on point and awesome. All around a great spot and we will be coming back for sure!!

Really enjoyed the fish tacos. Hushpuppies definitely needs some flavor. If your looking for atmosphere don't stop. The decor needs some serious updating and style. BUT the food is good if you like fried.

Had shrimp, coleslaw and fries. Shrimp is best around. Coleslaw was good, but needed a little more mayo, because it was a little dry. Friendly service. Highly recommend.

Great fried oysters, softshell crabs, and wonderful fried potatoes. No food over-cooked but cooked to perfection. The french fries are so great that they should come with a Blue Ribbon as the best french fries in Alabama. Same for the seafood which is light and cooked to perfection. I wonder what kind of coating is used, what oil, and most importantly, the temperature of the oil.

Mediocre fish restaurant with no atmosphere. The counter was crowded with menus, tooth picks and other materials so I had trouble ordering through all the clutter. I selected the fried oysters and was disappointed with the taste. The one positive aspect was the seafood gumbo which was excellent and reasonably priced.

Great little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. You must like fried seafood to eat here. There a a couple of grilled options but mostly fried. Nothing fancy, come as you, are good eats. You'll probably stand in line if you come at noon. But it's worth the wait.

I had the crab claws, fries and hush puppies. The french fry portion was kind of small but I couldn't eat everything anyway. The food can't out hot and fast. We sat on the bar side . There was a musty odor so could probably use a deep cleaning. We were able to seat eight at the round table and enjoyec the food and fellowship.

This place is a real find. The seafood is fresh and good. Ambience is near zero, but once you are there and served, you don't mind. Mostly frequented by locals. To me, the best gumbo in town. I prefer grilled seafood, but make an exception here. Most items are fried.
