I didn't like the way the workers grabbed the seafood with their bare hands. And they were taking to cook orders. I just hope they rinse the fish off before frying and serving it to others. Won't be back. Disgusting!

Destin connection has awesome Seafood and they will cook to order while you wait. The people are very nice and they have a wide selection. Not crazy about the coleslaw it has a bitter taste. Destin Connection is the best seafood market and lunch place around. David Scott the owner is such a nice guy who treats every customer special. His staff is always friendly and accommodating as well. I buy shrimp, fish and tuna dip there on a regular basis and they are always good. I love to grill his fish and they are always fresh daily. His shrimp and fish poboys are so good for lunch cooked to order and you have to get some hush puppies and onion rings or French fries to go with it. Every time I go there it is a great experience!

Destin Connection has the best and ONLY FRESH FROM THE GULF seafood in Montgomery. David Scott (owner) gets his catch straight off the boats from the Destin, FL. charter boats, freshly caught, 2 to 3 times a week. They also cook you up a fine, fine lunch or dinner fresh plate. Dine in or out. The prices are fair prices for fresh, not previously frozen, seafood. I give 5 stars.

They don’t pick up phone calls. When a lot of people trying to call them, they should start having there phones queuing people. It’s really bad that you have to keep calling and hoping they would pick up on a busy day. This is bad business, because some people would call for 30 min and still don’t get a answer, but if someone new just call they get it in the first try. I love this restaurant but this makes want to avoid restaurant like this.

This is the second year in a row that my family bought fresh shrimp and fish from Destin Connection and brought it with us to our beach vacation. In my experience, we can't find seafood that is more fresh in the area. Why pay the high prices one pays when on the gulf, when one can get the freshest seafood at a great price right here in "The Gump"? We made a nice meal of grilled shrimp and vegetables with one of my wife's signature salads. (See the pic). Even the kids lined up to tell me "Thank You, I loved dinner"! Our family from Texas, who own a restaurant and catering company, have loved our "Destin Connection" for the last two years on our family vacation! Thanks guys!!

Purchased some raw oysters, shucked and whole, along with a 1 lb container of lump crabmeat. The oysters were great but the lump crabmeat had way too many pieces of shell in it for $24. Some shell is expected but it shouldn't resemble a whole crab being put in a blender on pulse mode.

Absolutely top rated Seafood from the Gulf and it's very fresh price is very reasonable. You can get chunks squares of red snapper grouper and scallops for around $20 a pound range, nowhere else around here has that. Also a very large assortment of fish and crabs.
