I went here based on recommendations from someone trying to get inexpensive seafood while near the gulf. I asked for the price for grouper, and they were $ 3.00 a pound more than our seafood guy that brings it to Tennessee. They are obviously either taking advantage of the tourist or they are paying way too much for their fish at the docks. Either way, I will just buy it from my guy back home.

First time in there and we will definitely be back. A little bit of everything. Husband and I went there to get a few items for a gift basket for the in-laws. Great selection of marinades, oils, hot sauces, dipping sauces, finishing sauces, seasonings and more! Beautiful fresh shrimp! They have a small freezer section with a Hodge podge of deliciousness! AND....they will even do a shrimp boil for you to take home! How's that for service?!! The 2 gentlemen working there this morning were very knowledgeable and helpful. Can't wait to go back for that shrimp boil!

Great service, fresh seafood, and awesome smoked tuna dip. We get the tub of smoked tuna dip and have it as appetizers before going out for dinner. Then we take it home to have a taste of the gulf at home ( the dip keeps for 6 months!).

We always stop to get gulf caught seafood. We like to get grouper, shrimp, royal reds, and the smoke tuna dip. They will steam the shrimp for you too. If you have any questions on how to prepare, just ask. Great staff.

We ordered the shrimp boil for two but upgraded to the jumbo shrimp. Well worth it! We also ordered 1 lb of crab legs and bought a container of smoked tuna and shrimp dip. OMGEEE! We took it back to our balcony and ate on our personal deck overlooking the ocean. This was seriously the highlight of our trip! We loved it so much we went back the next evening but this time ordered 2 lbs of crab legs! So so good! Not only did we love all the food but the service was just as good. Thanks guys! Can’t wait to see you again.....

We grabbed some fresh seafood here to cook back at the beach house. We got shrimp, tuna, grouper, crawfish and crab legs for 17 people. They were very helpful in helping us figure out how much we needed for our big group and even threw in some Smoked Tuna Dip (that’s AMAZING!). The seafood was fresh and good quality.

After reading their yelp reviews we popped in to check it out. Two young men behind the counter were so helpful suggesting some items to purchase and try back at our condo. The seafood dips were great! They were even kind enough to package it on ice so it would keep during our other errands. We were in from out of town and they took time to suggest several great restaurants. We will defiantly recommend to friends visiting the area and will come back if we are ever in town again.

My wife & I visited Orange beach 6/3/19 & stayed in a condo apartment with kitchen. We went to Blaylock Seafood & purchased 12 pounds of snow crab legs & cooked them ourselves. The best we have ever eaten. Such good quality & fresh. Loved them.

Blalock is THE place to get fresh seafood to cook at home or in your condo rental at the beach. YES try the smoked tuna dip, or get a pint of jumbo lump to make your own west indies salad. They always have *real* fresh, wild caught grouper, snapper, or mahi and usually one other affordable farmed option. Cruise the wines for interesting choices and don't forget a pack of crackers to accompany those raw oysters by the quart!

We stopped in for fresh boiled crawfish and this place was terrific. Great size and very well cooked. Great flavor, well spiced and juicy. They have corn and red potatoes as well We made a picnic out of it at a little park down the street. The owners even threw in a roll of paper towels since they knew we were going there. Great service and friendly people there.

This is my favorite place to get seafood when I vacation at the beach! The family oriented staff is so welcoming and friendly. I love this place! I'm in mobile on business today & I'm driving 1hr& a half to get steamed shrimp to take home which is another 5 and half hour drive. They always make sure my cooler has plenty of ice to insure my food gets home safely! I'd give 10 stars if possible!

They are a fantastic stop on your way into O.B. from Loxley. They appear to cook as it is ordered; so, it is hot and ready to eat, however it takes a bit of time, so you may want to call ahead if you are in a rush. They also have a small selection of everything you would need for a quick "shoulder lowering" cocktail hour, when you arrive at your destination.

Don't buy shrimp here. My cousin tripped over a rug they had neglected to remove in front of the entrance. Not only did the owner NOT apologize he wouldn't even compensate us for the $68 worth of shrimp we purchased that was ruined. When we called to speak to the owner later we learned that other people had fallen over this rug in this store. Why on earth would they have this type of hazard in their store? We received no compensation no apology and absolutely no remorse. The owner argued with us about the fact that it was our fault. There are plenty of other places to buy seafood at better prices and better quality. Our advice is to go to a business who appreciates its customers. Clearly Blaylocks doesn't.

Stopped by on Thursday morning on our way back to north Alabama. We purchased some royal red shrimp and salmon and our daughter bought some other types of fish. I grilled some of the salmon on Friday evening for my wife and myself, and it was the best salmon we have ever had. Nice clean store, good selection, and helpful staff. We will be back

Fantastic steamed shrimp! Choose medium (which are plenty large), large or jumbo. They will put them on ice for travel. Also, the horseradish they have in the refrigerator is THE BEST, freshest I've ever had. A little goes a long way. Blalock also has frozen Cajun food and pre-made meal items. Always great service.

We've bought Shrimp there 1/2 dozen times. We bought 2 one Lb bags of Shrimp. Both were spoiled. The Owner told me in all of his years I was the first to ever complain about his Shrimp. Very rude. I told him I wasn't asking for money but merely letting him know my experience but you could tell his client base was so large he quit entertaining customers a long time ago. Never again will we go back.
