Staff yelling at some one ,did not worried about the presence of guests .

Carl Cathey

The best in town, great service, and great food!

Fields Ferguson

I have been to this place twice and each time has been a great experience! The servers are genuine and attentive! The food, oh man, is of great quality and the pricing is very fair! The lunch buffet was fresh and delicious! Definitely will be visiting again! Also, they make the best Chai that I have tried!

Mary Michael

I love Bayleaf! The food is just wonderful and the staff are always so nice and helpful. The selection for the lunch buffet is incredible. You get a lot of food for what you pay for and it's very reasonably priced. LOVE eating here. The only complaint I have is the bright green wall in the dining room but once I start eating, who cares haha.

Ray Loewe

Authentic Indian food at affordable prices. Take advantage of the lunch buffet.

We love Indian cuisine and always go to local Indian places when we travel. We chose BayLeaf for our travel to Birmingham and that was not a bad choice. As far as buffet options it looks and tastes like a mix of northern and Mumbai style cuisine. Plenty of vegetarian dishes and sweets (especially want to mention Bhal puri which is a bit unusual for USA). Food is relatively mild in spices and does not taste very salty which is definitely a good sign. We recommend this places to travelers who love Indian food or who just want to try something interesting! Good luck with your business BayLeaf!

Threeper keeper

This place is great! The staff is very friendly and attentive. They didn't wear uniforms but it looks like a family run place. Good price. Great food. I tried the chicken tiki masala at medium heat and it was spicy. But not overbearing. Give it a try.

Nikhil Rao

Came in for lunch , a lady shouted twice we are closed , we are closed , that was fine , she would have told us in low voice , we neither want to eat at a place which was about to close ,Rude very rude .

Syed Sameer

Coming from a person who grew up with indian food. This place offers Amazing Indian food. Pretty much everything is good. You wont be disappointed.

Riley Lawson

My food was cold and extremely flavorless. Staff was attentive, so at least they have that going for them.

Raman Bhati

Awesome food!! I go there almost every week. Unlike other indian restaurants in Birmingham, you will get delicious food in the lunch buffet as well. And dinner is amazing. Authentic indian food. Love this place.

Jitendra Sharma

We are going to Bayleaf for last 2 years and love this place. Food is delicious and quality is always extraordinary every single time. There chicken tikka masala is amazing !!! We also have them cater our Parties and people love their food and we never go wrong by having Bayleaf cater our parties !!! Their naan bread is just we get at home/dhabha place in India ...if you want to try something new you can try their chicken bhuna too ..so delicious.. best indian restaurant in Birmingham area !

Aleana Smith

The food was delicious!!!

My husband and I ate here for dinner. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. We shared two house speciality dinners. We got to try a variety of food. The coconut soup is the best soup. Try the fruit drinks called lassie. It is a yogurt fruit drink.

kannekanti umamaheswararao

Not at all authentic. Is there a chance to give minus 5 star ? I will use that for this restaurant

Alex Croninger

Excellent food! Friendly service. The tandoori mixed grill dinner special is incredible. Enough food for 2 people, at least. Highly recommend this place.

Star Laddie

This place does not use authentic Indian food recipes..this curry is a different taste than any Indian food I’ve had. Seems more like a Nepalese style curry and they do not even have the correct rice they use just steamed white rice, not the jasmine like real Indian food places will have. Silver spoon Indian food is my go to Indian food and will definitely remain so after eating here.

Rinku Patel

I would ideally like to give no star. TERRIBLE PLACE/AVOID AT ALL COST- NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. I took my husband to this restaurant for his birthday and we were miserably disappointed. The food was definitely not fresh and tasted as if it was prepared days before. I can say this with confident since my husband and I both had a horrible stomach after eating here. The entire experience was abysmal. Try TajIndia in Hoover for authentic indian food.

Eva Hill

Very tasty food and excellent service.

nafiul islam

Had the lunch buffet and it was very good! Lots of vegetarian options and the mung bean halwa was exquisite!!!

Kumar Sivan

Visited on a Sunday afternoon and had the lunch buffet. Had a combination of table seating and booth seating. The place was moderatly crowded at around 1:00 pm when we arrived. They close at 3:00 on Sundays. The decor was nothing to write home about. Mostly themed on the colors from the Indian flag. There was a TV going with mostly Bollywood themed songs and movie trailers going on. Had a good assortment of vegetarian and non vegetarian options to choose from. There was a basket of Naan bread (cut up), Biriyani rice and Vegetarian Hakka Noodles. The Naan had been sitting around for a while and lost its crispness. Did not try the rice. Veg Korma, Dhal Makhani and Saag Channa were the vegetarian options. There was curry Chicken, Hariyali Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and Goat curry on the Non Vegetarian side. The Goat curry looked like it had mostly been picked through and the pieces that were remaining were mostly fat and grizzle. The Chicken Tikka and Hariyali chicken were so-so. There was Raita and a Salad. The Raita was mostly good, the only complaint is it was on the sweet side. It had cucumbers and carrots in it. They had Tamarind chutney, Mint chutney etc which was a nice addition. The Salad looked like it had been picked through as well, there were some few pieces of carrot, cucumber and iceberg lettuce left over. Hardly any dressing on it. Dessert options were Semiya Payasam and a Mango rice pudding. Tried the Payasam and this was so-so as well. Both of us ordered a Mango Lassi to start with, which was quite good. I was hungry for some indian food, hence the visit. Would say it was a lack luster place, mostly an exercise in mediocrity, nothing special. Too many choices out there to consider going back.

Good for Indian cuisine

Food is good, servers not so much

Charua Lombo

Marvelous food, great staff. New favorite place to eat

John McClure

Excellent food, quick and courteous service. The garlic naan is incredible and a giant selection of all kinds of food, from Rogan Josh to chicken tikka masala! NOMS!

Doug Hartman

Fantastic place to eat. Very good food

Jeffrey Shaw

Wonderful for vegetarians. The buffet is outstanding and always fresh. Staff is attentive and always there to refill drinks or to pick up old plates. Also ordering takeout is always quick and easy ..

Bonnie C Faulkner

I loved this place!! Delicious and you should go if you love Indian food.

Karen Claunch

My mom and I came here for lunch a few weeks ago during the week. The service was really excellent, quick without being overbearing. The restaurant was about 1/3 to 1/2 full of customers, but not overly loud. The food was really delicious and there was enough variety in the buffet that I made two trips to try a little of everything. But our favorite thing? No TVs. People were enjoying themselves, but the restaurant was quiet enough that we could hear ourselves speak to one another. Really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back.

ANIRUDHA HOWLADER

Service and Ambiance was good but the food is average. Lots of powdered spice on food make it like a muddy texture and dull in taste whether authentic Indian gravies should be rich creamy texture and there should be a sheen on the gravy.

Bob Frew

Great food, friendly staff...I would eat here again.

Chris Pearce

Very fresh and flavorful. Reasonably priced. Will def return.

Anne-Marie Gianoudis

Had another wonderful family dinner at Bayleaf. Friendly and attentive staff and delicious food every time.

jack dillion

Did not like food , Tried many Indian restaurants ,this is not up to the mark

JK Manning

Amazing Indian food, the staff is great the location is close to greystone and Lee branch and buffet is with in everyone's budget.

blake funderburke

Always good. Never upset. The food is always great.

Barb B.

Food is very delicious. In comparing the Montgomery location and Birmingham location, the Montgomery location gets the extra star. The quality of the food is equally good, but the service and food portions are much better at Montgomery location.

Robin Mclendon

Lovely food, and the great staff makes the dining experience even better. They truly care about their customers.

Evy Johnson

Great food! Ordered takeout online and it was ready on time. Lunch buffet looks great, but I haven't tried it yet.

Prakash Gupta

No good taste of Paneer teeka

Nao Akieda Harms

We had a Groupon, so we ordered more than we normally eat. We tried various entrees, sauces, and I even loved the condiments. We ordered everything "mild" as we were sharing with kids, but they were still flavorful and delicious! Both kids tried almost everything.

Mr V

Our appetizer was crispy eggplant with a tamarind sauce. We ate Chana Saag and vegetables with ginger and tomato sauce. Both were tasty. They made the saag as hot as I wanted it. The Naan was good. Dessert was a carrot pudding that was fantastic. Good service with no pressure. We'll be coming back to try more.

Mubashir Ahmed

Not the best Indian food you'll have but definitely the Best Indian restaurant in town.

Jason H

The bad reviews must be from another location. The one that just opened downtown is great and I'm not big on Indian cuisine at all. The buffet is great reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and that new M65 chicken or something is delicious. Now I admit my stomach gets a little uneasy at times but I can assure you it's not bc of anything in terms of the quality. Some people just don't process spices as well as others and it's fine while I'm eating. For those complaining, take an immodium and shut the hell up!

Clarissa Silva

I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :) Food: Good Indian food! I had the chicken vindaloo. Drinks: Good. Space: Is very quaint, spacious, and intimate making it good for date nights or get-togethers. Scene: Date Night. Family date night. Service: The staff is very professional, courteous and attentive.

Jake M

Amazing flavor and spice! I love spicy food and they really stepped up! Most places I go to act like black pepper is spicy. But this place has so much flavor and the perfect amount of spice. Highly recommend!

Joe

Delicious food at a reasonable price and good size portions. I will definitely come back.

Mike Ray

Good stuff !

Adedoyin Dosunmu-Ogunbi

Good food

Ben Kuykendall

The service was excellent, the selection was extensive, and the food was excellent. It's a little pricey, but worth it. We had the cauliflower appetizer which was amazing (and I don't love veggies). The chicken Tikka Masala was spot on. Thr Chicken Korma was tasty. The Nan was perfect. Medium spice had plenty of spice, I'd be scared to ask for hot. We'll be back!!!

Mitch Bolton

The saag recalibrates my concept of great every time I have it. There are bigger cities with lesser Indian restaurants. We are fortunate. My dining companion agrees.

Aaron Gray

Very tasty Indian food. We had the Tandoori Mixed Grill Special (Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka, Seekh Kabab, and shrimp, served with chutney, rice, and lentil soup), Fish Goa Curry , and a Rose Lassi to and drink. Everything was good, but the Fish Goa Curry stole the show. Definitely coming back to get that again.

Lee Reese

Good food and great service. Unusual for a buffet but worth the drive.

Elisabeth Nichols

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here last Friday night. I ordered the Non-Vegetarian Thali, and it was enough for me to eat for three meals! I also ordered a beer and samosas. I particularly enjoyed the Mulligatwali soup that came with my dinner. I also appreciated that the server asked how spicy I wanted my meal. The decor is a bit tacky, but the open atmosphere and good lighting makes this a great place to dine and talk with friends. Also, are waiter did not bring water very often, and if you order your food spicy, you will want the water!

Scott Whitlock

Good, but on the bland side. The buffet is pretty extensive and fairly priced, but it's like the food doesn't really have an identity. Nothing really stands out as being excellent.

Randy H

Great service. Great food. One of my favorite.

Natasha Allen

Great food and service

Margie McClenny

The food was good but not delicious. It may be a difference in what I am used to since I am not Indian.

Linked2 Social

Love how each dish is very flavorful, yet not over baring. The Chicken Tikka Masala and the Tandoori BBQ Chicken are two dishes I highly recommend; especially if you're trying Indian food for the first time.

David Miles

Our favorite Indian restaurant in Birmingham. They have several delicious Vegan dishes.

Paban Sharma

They have great Samosas.

Grover Heath

Best Indian food and staff around!

Saumil Khanduri

Bay leaf and bawarchi biryani are the best indian restaurants in Birmingham area. I love the lunch buffet menu of bay leaf. The staff is very humble.

Ojas Gokhale

Best Indian food in Birmingham!! Their paneer is made in house, fresh!!

Doug Little

Simple good tasting indian cuisine. Lunch buffet for $10, not a bad option

rash m

There's no food in the buffet. Also the staff is very tight !!!!!!!

Brett Edwards

I love this place! My great friend from India has been bringing me here for the buffet. I love it. The staff is excellent and the food is superb. I choose the great vegetarian options. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the Birmingham area.

Aaron Piya

Although the food is not the best, it still deserves four stars as the staff is very helpful when ordering and asking questions.

Michael Papp

The food is really fresh and much better than other Indian restaurants we have tried in the area. If you like spicy food, be sure to ask for it Indian Hot.

Jim May

Mediocre, and not flavourful buffet. I've been to 40-50 Indian restaurants. Definitely in the bottom 5. Strange smells are giving me high anxiety. I am only speaking as a person who enjoys food of decent quality.

Gottfried Kibelka

Buffet offered 8 vegetarian dishes plus chicken and goat dishes. I appreciated their take on matar paneer that came with al dente peas and dal palak that surprised me with fragrant citrus notes. Attentive wait staff (despite having the buffet) and a hot sauce that deserved its name made for an enjoyable visit. My advice; Dont forget your bugout bag. Hwy 280 was the usual hell hole. 4 lanes but even an emergency car needed 5 min for 200 yards.

Piyali Banerjee

Great Indian food. I went to the buffet and it was nice.

Rhiannan O'Connell

Went to dinner here and the food was amazing. The waiters were attentive and social without being overbearing. Very easy to get to.

anna phillips

The food is great and the staff was very friendly. We have tried the other Indian restaurant in town and prefer this one. The food is slightly richer/heavier, which is our preference. The cleanliness was great as well. OVERALL: We'll be back. Great place to have your Indian fix.

MD Yasser Karim

Food is okay. Not enough dessert. Service is average.

Keith Wessel

Delicious food in a comfortable family friendly settings. Never very loud. The servers are fast and friendly, too.

Parag Joshi

Good Indian food.

Debisree Ray

Very ordinary Indian restaurant. I was there for dinner. They gave us complimentary fried papadum ( crispy Indian snack), which was clearly not freshly fried. The food was very ordinary. The mango lassi, ( mostly the yogurt they used in it) was not very fresh and good. We ordered a chicken biriyani, to go. What they gave us, is not bad but clearly not biriyani ! I have not tried their lunch buffet though. I hope that might be little better and fresh.

Mark Apsolon

Great Indian food with a unique twist. They have a bit of a gourmet favor which compliment the authentic favor. The best Indian food in Birmingham. You will not be disappointed.

Shankar V

Good meal. The taste Might suit most diners. Not too spicy. A good spread on Lunch buffet. Clean ambience.

Devin O'Rourke

Very good Indian food.

debbie ash

Love there food they have a awesome lunch buffet

L.A. and G.

The food and service is always great!

Carol Dearing

Awesome!!@@

RKrishna V

Food is good not so great. You don’t find good BIRYANI over here, I would suggest to try only Naans. I didn’t find veg starters here, two non veg starters, two deserts. Overall experience is good not so great who carves for big buffet n variety of food items. Good service, they are attentive. I have asked for Naans when they are out in buffet, they brought it to my table.

Oblivion_Z

Best Indian place in town, the lunch buffet is very nice, and they have some nice weird quirky deserts.

Ramarao CS

We have been to this place few times: though we have to drive out of the way. The food has always been excellent and the staff deferential and attentive.

Sara Ingram

Best local Indian cuisine!! Flavorful and a perfect blend of spices!! Loved it!! I will definitely back!!

Alanda Poojary

My family’s favorite place to eat!

Julie Burks

Great friendly service food fresh and flavorful reminds me of home

Stacy Rivers

It was an exceptional experience! I am super picky & the gentleman who served our food was very attentive. Loved every bite & the meal was served with the feel of southern hospitality!

Dalila Cook

Pretty awesome Indian food buffet. Love the goat curry!! Plays hindustan music in the background. I recognized Shah Rukh Khan.

RONALD LEVERETT

Glad I got a chance to share. If you want different experience to check out other cultures food then worth a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Angelica Madrid

Very delicious! Great service, even better food! My husband and I heard about Bay Leaf from a friend from work and thought we would take a trip to try it. I guess I should start by saying that although we like Indian cuisine, we are not very knowledgeable when it comes to what to order. Don't worry, you don't have to be either. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner also let us know that they offer lunch buffet that has a variety of things to try, for those of us who aren't sure what we like. We ordered from the menu this time but we'll definitely be back to try the buffet. I ordered the Lamb Madras with Naan bread, and my husband ordered the Lamb Bhuna, also with Naan bread. Both were seriously delicious! Also, I have to mention how much we appreciated the owner taking the time to come and talk with us. He was very likeable and friendly. He even shared some history of the food that we ordered. We were very impressed to say the least.

Deborah Popp

Staff was very attentive and the food was fabulous. ..small buffet selection though...great experience regardless

Royberg

Most authentic Indian food in the area hands down! The staff is extremely friendly and always make my Chicken Tikka masala the way I like it (hotter than Indian hot). The waiters are quick with refills and I even was able to ask for my own pitcher of water at the table! They go above and beyond to ensure you have a good meal and a good time.

Roshan Landge

Osm food. ....

Stephanie Billings

We have been looking for a good Indian Restaurant ever since moving back to the Birmingham area. We have found it!! The restaurant has a nice decor and it is clean. We came after church, it wasn't crowded. We did not have to wait. Buffet had plenty of choices. The chicken mahkani (butter chicken)"was delish! Their chatt was different than what I had previously but it was quite good!! Staff was very attentive! Very affordable!! We will be back!!

Janice Mutchler

We've eaten here twice and can't wait to get back. Chicken tikka masala is amazing. Service is friendly and quick.

Joe Limbaugh

Delicious food with a lot of choices.

Joseph Petrovich

Excellent Indian food. A little off the beaten path but well worth the drive. Lamb and goat both were fantastic. All the Naans were wonderful.

jbg1984

Food was tasty and the staff was very welcoming but I can't say that I appreciated the saag paneer pureed as much as it was (lack of texture in the spinach). They also brought out all of the dishes one at a time, including the naan at the very end and there were only 4 tables occupied. I prefer to eat everything at once, while using the naan as a utensil, as it is intended to be used.

Christopher A.

Great experience today for lunch. The lunch buffet was reasonably priced, I paid 26$ for two people. Management was friendly, and the food was very good. Highly recommended.

jayant sharma

Employee getting rude customer.

Jin Kim

I enjoy their lunch buffet. Price, Selection, quality is excellent. So good that I recommended to a new colleague at work who is from India and enjoyed it also! one day I will make it out to the dinner

Rakesh Patel

This is one of the best Indian food i ever had in Birmingham AL compare to others, food quality was excellent and freshly cooked, friendly staff and fast service, welcoming atmosphere...neat n clean, owner come to our table talk to us... ask us about the food and everything which is really nice. Highly recommending this place.

Steve Medori

What a great buffet! Delicious variety of both meat based and vegetarian dishes each expertly prepared and presented by a service oriented and friendly staff of Indians or Indian -Americans who know and can explain their food. Even the Naan and the deserts are good.

Andy chikki

Absolutely, delicious food...

michel bonds

Did not like the hospitality , Food was good

Red Stepchild

100% recommend. Hearty Portions. Excellent menu variety will please a for a 1st time newby to Indian cuisine as well as the experienced World traveler. Perfect for a casual family night, take out, delivery, as well as a high end business lunch or date night where impeccable dining service experience is important. Basmati rice cooked perfectly. Loved the light airy texture. The Lamb Pasanda was a hearty and tender, with a well rounded gentle milder curry sauce. Perfect dish to try if you haven't eaten indian before. The higher protein content from cream sauce and almond powder makes this fish extremely filling. You will definitely need a nap afterwards. Zero work getting done after because you wont be worth nuffin' after you had your fill. I'm very impressed that the staff called to alert me grubhub driver pulled a no show. They waited for me, even though restaurant was closed. I will definitely order delivery directly from Bay Leaf website next time. Any other restaurant would've just left and never called me. Bay leaf, I'm looking forward to my next visit to try a new meal.

Rae Hardin

My husband and I have been here several times. We have eaten Indian food in much larger cities (Atlanta, NYC, Charlotte, etc.) and this is still the best Indian restaurant we've ever experienced regarding the food and atmosphere. We eat in the restaurant rather than getting take out, and it's always a good experience. Yes, it will be different than going to the Tavern at the Summit, but that's the point. Always attentive service, relatively good wine list, and high-quality authentic food. Bay Leaf has become one of our most loved restaurants in Birmingham.

anthony_miller

We go to the Barber Motorsports Vintage Motorcycle Weekend every year at the start of October and always make sure we eat here. The food is delicious and authentic. I’m from England and appreciate good Indian curries, these are up there with the best. We’ll be back next year, can’t wait. Thank you !!!

Kyle Kingery

Food was good and the staff friendly. The lunch buffet had a better selection than most of the other Indian restaurants in the area.

John K

The staff here was very friendly and helping us decide what we should eat. The appetizers were good. The curry was fantastic. The goat curry meet was very soft and flavorful. The servers were very attentive and the restaurant was clean. I would come and eat curry here again any day. The non-bread was also very good. The non-bread with cherry and coconut was a pleasant surprise.

Matthew Hoyle

Wonderful service. I was personally greeted and walked down the buffet line with an explanation of all the dishes. Food is excellent. Wonderful family business & wholly authentic.

Rijo Cherian

Worst Indian food I ever ate.. they will spoil the name of Indian food.

Miraj Tahir

Delicious food!! But a bit overpriced. They charge $4 for garlic naan. That was a bit shocking. We get naans for 50 cents up in New York Edit: They haven't been up to the mark lately.

Pradip Mate

We been there several times.. since I know about this restaurant, food is always authentic and delicious, excellent service, whenever we go to bayleaf restaurant with my family we enjoying...

Sundari BalooMoti

Great indian restaurant, very good food, frndly people, as you enter you can smell the aroma of India.

Megan Maier

Came here for dinner. As soon as we walk in the door, no once greets us but instead a man yells out at us from across the restaurant, "booth", and motions his head towards a booth. I stand there, thinking he wasn't talking to us. But he was, because he yelled it again. We sat down and got our menus a little bit afterwards. The same man who yelled at us was our waiter. He wasn't particularly nice, never made eye contact, and almost made us feel like we were a pain in his side. Barely saw him the rest of our stay there - he wasn't even the one to bring out our food. The couple who came in after us was promptly greeted at the door and seated like how it normally is at a restaurant. The only redeeming quality of this experience was the wonderful food! It was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the only time I will eat this food again is if I order it to-go. Great food, and one man's crappy service.

akash bheemavarapu

Not at all authentic Indian. Biryani tastes very bad.

Tejal Patel

Ordered paneer tikka masala. It was super sweet. I told them the gravy is sweet, the waiter tasted it and told me it’s because of tomatoes and it might take a very long time to make another one. They made all of our vegetable mild when we told them medium. Dissatisfied

Mario Powell

Everything was great from the food to the service. Me and my wife love this place will be back soon.

Matthew Frank

Good food. Buffet quite tasty but not spicy enough

Rachel Samuel

We used to travel 45 mins and come here .. that was over an year back! Food used to be so good and service as well. The owners were both very nice. After encountering bad service multiple times, including charging my 2yr old for a plate at buffet, being annoyed because we ordered a la carte entree instead of buffet and once going a whole 40 mins without menus followed by having to ask for our silverware, water and refills.. we decided to do take out only. Last time we did that the food was way over cooked, happens sometimes. And then today both of us who had food from here have upset stomach! I believe we are done. Not worth it.

Kylie Jerkins

We found a new favorite! My husband and I stumbled upon this place several months ago and have enjoyed every visit. I highly recommend ordering the mango lasse with your meal-- it's like a cold, thick mango smoothie. I usually get chicken sultani and I'm always so surprised at how tender the chicken is because most Indian restaurants we've been to have chewy chicken. The service is more laid back, but they're all very friendly.

Abbie Zipprich

The food was wonderful , perfect experience for me . The staff was super nice and attentive . One of the servers even helped me decide what I would like most because I’ve never eaten Indian food before . Overall , it was a perfect experience .

Samira Segreti

Went for a work lunch with my boss and coworkers, we had the buffet. Everything was delicious and different.

Shriniwas Kolpuke

Really good food! Totally worth the money!

Harsh Reddy

Not bad. Decent menu. But don't expect anything out of the ordinary.

Doc Braniac

The biryani is freaking delicious. Also, if you feel the food is bland ask for them to spice it up when you order. They will accomodate you.

Alicia Shah

Very great Indian food! Staff is friendly! I would recommend this place to anybody lookin to eatin good ;) I'd give 100 stars if I could. My family and I drive over an hour just to enjoy this food . Try it out, you'll see! ;)

John Montoya

What a great experience the staff is very nice and the food is wonderful!

Brandon Carpenter

Good Indian food you better like curry if you come the staff is friendly not a huge buffet but they have a good selection lots of vegetable items

Mohanraj Thirumalai

False advertising, lies and bad food! A glorified buffet menu was advertised on the occasion of Valentines day (for double the normal cost). However, when we went there, two of the vital appetizers advertised were missing. When inquired, was told that ingredients were not available. As a person who cooks the very same items, I know that the ingredients would be available in the grocery store in the next block. And if the lack of ingredients was true, substitute items would be included. When confronted about the false advertising and lies, the restaurant owner persisted. The food served was also bad! Will never recommend this place.

Senthil Gnanasekhar

Good menu and cordial staff

Ernest Walker

Amazingly delicious! Like a plate of Hyderabad I'm the Deep South. I had the lamb saag. When I didn't think it was spicy to my liking, the waiter offered to bring me a spicier serving. DELICIOUS. Customer focused staff made the food all the more enjoyable. #1

Kimiko Griffin

Best customer service and delicious food!

dilip paudel

Buffets is so good..variety of items, wish goat meat was there every day

Teayoun Kim

Among Indian restraints around Birmingham area that I've checked this is the best place so far.

Jean-Baptiste Coupet

Nice people and the food is authentic.

Rod Cude

Very friendly staff and deliciously authentic food. Tried the lunch buffet on Sunday and was more than pleased with the myriad of selections. Family shared a korma and tikka masala as well and both were as good as anything I’ve had in India. Will definitely be back.

Darryl Peterson

Great place for Indian food. Very clean, very pleasant and helpful staff, buffet is kept and hot and immaculate.

Lee Artisan

Wow, our favorite place had closed so we looked for something comparable and were blown away.

Marissa Gancayco

Horrible experience. Used to like this place. Will NEVER come back. They said Togo order will take 20 minutes. Waited an entire hour and it still isn’t ready. Don’t recommend

Ryan Maas

This has become a regular for me at lunch. Affordable, fresh, tasty, and a great staff who take care of you.

Gary Suyal

Pretty good food and nice staff! Enjoyed the Buffett.

Tom Wimbish

We really like their lunch buffet. The spices are just right, flavorful but not too hot. We have been to several other Indian restaurants in Columbus GA, Huntsville, AL and Birmingham. This one is the best.

Holly Meadows

The shrimp tiki masala and spinach Chana saag were wonderful!! The staff could not have been more nice to my daughter and I, helping us order and making sure we enjoyed.

Patricia Aguilar

Buffett for lunch had a great variety!

Carrington Wilson

Love this place! Delicious food and the wait staff is friendly and helpful. We go at least once a week. Try something different and enjoy.

Hasin Gandhakwala

There are much better options in Birmingham for Indian food. Three stars is generous. It’s more accurately 2.5 if it was possible. Food just simply lacks character, and portion sizes are average value.

Christopher Meyer

Great food! Big variety.

Jennifer Rutherford

Delicious lunch buffet with a good selection. Service was excellent.

Mike Hill

Love this place.... Vijay and crew changed my tastebuds!! Thanks y'all!!!

Folc4evernaday

Love this place!

Jobish Mathew

Had a great buffet. The owner was very nice and friendly.

Darshan Patel

The food is just delicious. The service was quick and responsive. I asked the chef to make the food "indian spicy" and it was made just as I had expected.
