After almost 5 years of processing with Total Merchant Concepts, I decided to move to a company that consolidated all credit card transactions (including American Express) into one payment at a discount rate significantly lower than what I was paying for Visa, MC, Discover and Debit with Total Merchant Concepts. It was also a company that was being represented by one of my business clients. When I switched my service from Total Merchant Concepts to Heartland Payment Systems AND having paid out almost $60,000.00 dollars in Bankcard Discount Fees over the previous 5 years to TMC, I was charged a $250 cancellation charge. Makes me wish I had switched a long time ago.

WOW! Impeccable service! My visa machine went down, I had no phone numbers besides the office number but no one was available and I didn't have my sticker on hand so I thought I'd try Facebook and shoot TMC a message and low and behold I got a response! Cheri called me and struck with me through the whole process and used every one of her resources until my machine was figured out! On a Saturday? Amazing. We will not go anywhere else. Customer Service is OUTSTANDING. These people will go above and beyond when you need help. If you're using a different credit card processing company and you're thinking of switching, you really should give these folks an opportunity, they will not disappoint you.

Hope you don't need your money in your account in less than a week. Use COSTCO guys and please read below before waisting your time. We had a terrible experience with these guys and I'm sure most of these 5 star reviews are staff members, since they rotate staff weekly apparently. First, after border line harassment with the constant cold calling I gave a member of their staff Nate a few minute. It was very similar to dealing with a used car salesperson, lots of promised and lots of lies. Some examples: First Nate stated TMC has a 10pm-10am guarantee, thats a lie. I went over four days without a deposit, had close to ten thousand being held for close to a week. I actually had to go to cash only because they totally lost my trust. Second example: 24/7 customer support, that not true either. They have a 1-800 number that puts you into a phone tree stating there's nobody there to handle your call. Nate also lied about things he didn't need to lie about. Examples: He's not a veteran, and they're not part of the NRA business alliance. After all this, you get some young lady over selling herself, again, explaining how everything your fault, nice. Finally, they over bill you and throw you into collections.

They took the mystery out of who (or what) is the ISO, the gateway, and the Processor. Total Merchant Concepts is the best company I have worked with so far. We have a small business and have used two other companies and they just don’t compare in rates or customer service. To make it even better EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. I have spoken to at TMC has provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service. You can’t say that about most companies! Any time I call, no matter who I speak with they always have a willingness to help attitude and if they don’t have the answer to my question they will find out and get back to me in a timely manner. Edit: I am deducting 2 stars because of recent interactions. I have decided to go with a different payment processing company. The employees have been incredibly rude during this process..every time we speak with somebody we get different answers about what we need to do to get rid of their Apriva pay services.
